This is going to be another two-parter blog. In this blog, I will talk about two of the latest movies, Sing 2 and Spider-Man: No Way Home. The first movie I'm going to write about is Spider-Man: No Way Home.
First off, if you haven't seen Spider-Man: Far From Home, do, because it picks up directly after that movie's end. And if you don't want to be completly lost, you might want to see the other live action Spider-Man films. There might be characters from those films appearing in this film, including the previous two Spider-Man Actors: Toby Maguire and Andrew Garfield, but you did not hear it from me (because you read it).
The internet really liked this movie, saying it was the best Marvel movie yet. I don't know about that, but, I have to agree, it is a good movie and you should definitely see it if you are a Spider-Man fan and want to see the possible conclusion to the end of the installments with Tom Holland as the teenaged red-suited hero.
That's all I'm going to write about Spider-Man. Now, it's time for the second movie and the second part of the blog: Sing 2.
Sing 2 is pretty entertaining, and just like the first movie, is a jukebox movie with a lot of songs. It might even be a better movie than the first film.
Mike, the mouse, isn't in this movie and none of the characters mention him at all. It's as if he never existed. But we know. And Mike was Stan's favorite character so he was a bit disappointed that he wasn't in it. But there were plenty of new characters. Now, for the plot.
Buster and the other animals (minus Mike) audition to stage a show for Crystal Entertainment. As they prepare for the big day, they face some obstacles, including getting a famous celebrity lion who hasn't sang since his wife's death 15 years prior. But no matter the many obstacles that faces them, they all have to come together, and perform a stage show to wow the audience. And that's all I'm going to say about that film. If you like Sing, you'll like this movie. If you want to see what happened to Mike, like Stan, you're going to be disappointed. Mike's absence is going to be your only spoiler (if you can call it that.)
Okay, I lied. I'm going to write one last paragraph. This is in no way regarding to the two movies this blog was about, but since this is a new year, I'm going to write it. Happy New Year! May 2022 be one step further and hopefully a complete stop to the pandemic that has doomed the world for the last two years. So I guess this blog is a three-parter. Sorry about that. You don't care, do you? Because, it's too late ether way, even though it's pronounced 20 20 2 (I got that off of some YouTube comments). You're going to have to deal with it.
