Dreamworks seems to know how to do really good sequels because Puss in Boots: The Last Wish is really good. 2022 seemed to be a good year for Dreamworks with this as well as The Bad Guys that got released in April. Puss has died 8 times and is down to his last life (because you know, cats have 9 lives.) The doctor orders him to retire, so he goes to this cat rescue. He then goes on another adventure with a therapy dog and Kitty Softpaws. They have to race against other villains to get their wish granted from a magical wishing star. However, because Puss is down to his last life, he is now utterly terrified by a wolf who is Death. We saw this film in an almost empty theater. That's sad because this movie deserves to be seen. It may be dark at times, but that is what makes it so good. And the animation is just stunning and gorgeous to look at! If Dreamworks make their future films like this, they might have a bright future ahead of them! So, if you miss Shrek, Donkey or Puss being on the big screen, this has you covered for now and will not disappoint. It might be a wish come true for some of you if your wish is to see another good Dreamworks animated film. And who knows, maybe a character or two will make a cameo or two in this. You didn't hear or read it from me. You'll just have to support this movie and see for yourself!
