"A second Semblance." In all of Ozpin's years on being alive this is the first time for him to see someone who has develop a second semblance naturally. Though in the past there were many attempts in placing two semblance in a person but all of those only resulted into failure and crippled future Huntsmen.
With a sigh Ozpin looked at the report that Glynda has given him.
'Lie Ren, Male, Birthday: June 22nd, Semblance: Tranquility - Capable of calming ones emotion that make one invisible to Grimm.
Update: Electric Creation and Manipulation: From what was observe the user created lightning from the their body and can coat it on their own weapon, it also enhances the user's body from the speed that was observed.
Resistance to electricity has not been tested. Further observation is required.' Ozpin sighed as he looked at the report.
"Now I have to hide this from James." He muttered to himself.
"Is this all of your report?"
"There is another one." Glynda paused
"It's about team RWBY." Ozpin's eyes hardens as he exhaled a deep sigh.
"Here we go." Ozpin said as composed himself.
"Owowowowiieeee..." Nora woke up with a gigantic headache.
"This sucks... I wish Ren was here." She said as she pouted from the pain. Nora then noticed that she's not in the desert anymore, she was in a cozy room with different kinds of leafs and flowers and plants and stuff.
"A beautifully weird room!" Nora giggled as she looked around the room.
Then she saw a figure open the leaves like curtains.
A young woman with green hair greeted her.
"Ah! Master! Miss Dehya she's awake!"
"Ah! You're finally awake, I don't know if you were trying to cross the border of Sumeru to go to Fontaine or are you just that reckless to brave the desert without any supplies." A man with black hair and big fox like ears. He had a stern face as he looked at Nora.
"Hm? Fontaine? What's that? Is it like those things that spit water or something?"
"Huh? What?"
"Oh! I'm just kidding! And no I was not trying to cross the border, I was actually lost! Lost! I thought I wouldn't make it but here I am!!! Alive and Well!! Hahaha!" Nora jumped out of her bed as she moved her body around. She then looked around the room trying to look for something.
"Oh! Yes my hammer!! Have you guys seen my hammer?" Nora asked. The two looked at each other.
Nora continued explaining what her hammer looks like until someone interrupted her.
"Sorry but when we saw you, there was only you and your clothes we found no hammer around where you we're." Nora's eyes widens as she stiffened. Her eyes showing the horror of someone who has seen hell.
"Magnhild!!!!! Nooooo!!!!" Nora got down to her knees as she scream to the heavens. Then another person walked in a woman with black hair and with a bit of yellow, her hair is in a shape of a feline.
"I heard that the person was awake- Why is she screaming?"
"She lost her hammer." The green hair girl answered behind her is a weeping Nora with the man trying to console her but to no avail.
"Hmmm. I'll try to ask around the Eremites. This might be their doing. I'll tell you if I get some information about your weapon." The woman said.
"THANK YOU!!!" Nora hugged the woman as she cried with tears of joy.
"Hey. Hey. Calm down there no need to thank me yet there is still a change for it to be gone now." Nora separated from the woman as snot trail from where her face has been.
"Ewgh. Anyways Tighnari, I gotta go now just introduce me later." The woman left as the man named Tighnari pats Nora's head.
"Don't cry please." The young girl with green hair as she gave Nora a hug. Nora hugged her a bit too tightly.
"Ahh..I can't...Breath...Stop...Please." Nora heard what she said as stopped hugging.
"I'm sorry! It's just that I'm so sad right now!!! Magnhild!! We've been through so much things we killed many Grimm, we defeated many opponent s and broke many legs!!! WAAAAAHHHHHHH!!!" Nora cried even more as she reminisce.
"How about we eat first you can calm down?" Fox man said as he pried Nora off the green hair girl.
"Oh I'm Collei! Nice to meet you!"
"I'm Nora. Nora Valkyrie." Nora said as she wiped the tears from her eyes.
"I see nice to meet you Nora."
"As you have heard earlier my name is Tighnari Forest Watcher and the woman just now is Dehya, A member of the Eremites. Now if you will excuse me I'm going to cook dinner."After introducing himself Tighnari proceeded to head to the kitchen.
Nora looked at him until he leaves her vision, then continued crying in Collei's arms.
"Known entrances are here, here and here." A woman with light blue hair pointed at the map as she pointed out the entrances she has scouted.
"Hmm. Captain Eula can you and your knight come with me when we go inside?"
"I can do that yes."
"Good. We needed all the man power we can get when going in."
"Sister Rosaria together with some of my men will remain outside to cut off any stragglers or to see if reinforcements are coming." Diluc finished as Rosaria and Eula nodded at him.
"Good dismissed." Diluc said as the two left.
Diluc sighed as he looked at the map.
'I've only disguised this as an Fatui encampment that's needed to be culled not a rescue mission of the Anemo God.' He sighed deeper.
'The risk is high but Venti or should I say Lord Barbatos is more important.' His eyes hardens.
'I'll get them all out in exchange for life if I have to.' Diluc held his palm in his forehead.
"Damn it." He looked at the box on the side of the map
"Adelinde, Elzer."
"Yes Master Diluc?"
Diluc hesitated for a bit.
"Nothing, don't mind me."
Diluc left the room with his claymore.
"Let's tell Nora that we are switching meetup location. Mondstadt is too dangerous as of now." Ren said as he rode a horse next to Jaune who is now back to normal.
"Diluc said that while Liyue is much livelier there is still Snezhnayan Diplomats there."
"Fatui.." Ren sighed. "Why do I feel like these Fatui guys are going to be the pain in the bottom in the future?"
"Probably because they're everywhere?"
"I don't know. Jaune, I don't know." Jaune chuckled as Ren massages his forehead.
"About the Gnosis, should we meet with that Venti after his rescue?"
"We will after things died down and Venti won't really be tied to one place so he might follow us to Liyue."
"You did say he was a Bard." Nothing really interesting happened for awhile and Jaune and Ren mostly talked about things.
From behind them shadows follows.
"Operation will start now." Diluc said as Rosaria and Eula stood next to him.
"I don't seem to see any people here." Rosaria muttered as she squinted her eyes.
'I have a bad feeling about this.' She thought as she looked around.
"Do it." Diluc commanded as he moved towards one of the entrance.
A Fatui agent that was guarding yawned but then was hit by an arrow to the throat.
"Ambu-" One of the Agents tried to warn his peers but was cut off by a claymore cleaving through his neck.
One of Diluc's men stood guard waiting for the alarm.
Fortunately they nothing happened.
Seeing the successful ambush Diluc nodded towards Eula and members of her company.
Seeing Diluc's gaze she immediately order her men to go inside the hideout.
After a few minutes Eula came back with her men.
"There too few people here." She said as suspiciously.
"This is a trap isn't it?" She said immediately said. Diluc sighed and answered.
"Yes, I came here fully knowing it's a trap." Diluc said
"But if there's too few men here that mean..." Something immediately clicked.
"GET THE HORSE WE'RE GOING TO CATCH UP TO JAUNE!" Diluc ordered to his men.
Eula and Rosaria looked at him in confusion.
"Eula, Rosaria please rescue Venti inside he is held hostage in there and also eliminate all the Fatui inside." Rosaria looked at him and sighed.
"You owe me for this." Rosaria said as she immediately went inside. Eula looked at Diluc to which Diluc only looked at Eula pleadingly , She sighed as she followed after Rosaria.
"Men! We're going to catch up to Jaune the Fatui are after them." Diluc said as he went up to one of the horses and immediately rode away.
'Please be alright.' Diluc thought as he forced his horse to go faster.
"Maybe we should stop and set up camp here?" Jaune asked as he slowly rode his horse. Ren looked around and saw a metallic glow sailing towards Jaune. Without any hesitation Ren drew StormFlower and shot at the metal.
"Enemies!" Ren yelled as he drew out his second pistol.
"Paimon sword!" Jaune shouted as glowing constellations appear on his left hand took form of the Favonious sword. He then drew Crocea Mors from its sheath.
"Seems like they've seen through Diluc's plan." Jaune whispered.
What greeted them was the huge number of Fatui Agents, Cicin Mages and Bracers. The most dangerous looking enemies were the dude who was holding a hammer and the dude with big metal gauntlets.
"These guys aren't joking around huh?" Ren gritted his teeth as he saw the enemy numbers.
"I don't if The Fair Lady will come but it's best of we don't use our all." Jaune said as gust of wind started picking up from where he stood.
Ren asked Paimon to hide his guns as he unwraps the blade that Kazuha has given him.
Small arcs of lightning dances on Ren's sheathed blade as he followed Rai's stance by memory. His knees bent a little with the on his left hip, right hand on the handle and left hand on the saya near the guard.
A battoujutsu stance.
Jaune on the other hand got his two swords ready for any attacks.
Everything went deathly still and silent that even small gust of winds can be heard.
One agent decided to break the silence by rushing towards Ren with his claw aim for Ren's throat.
The world darkens as purple slashes lightning goes through the body of the incoming agent.
The agents momentum slowed as he was blasted to a tree making him unconscious.
As quick as lightning Ren drew his blade. Some member of the Fatui gasped at what happened while most tensed up bracing for the up coming fight.
Ren out of character, was the one who initiated the fight by rushing to the densest part of the encirclement and tear everyone there apart. The gauntlets wearing Fatui flew to the air and fell on the ground as Ren slashed his armor with a blade filled with electro energy.
Jaune looked at Ren who is skillfully defeated everyone on his way.
A Cicin mage tried to block the electricity that Ren emitted but was defeated by the finesse of the Swordsmanship that Ren showed, a Pyroslinger aimed his gun towards Ren only for the gun to be cut in half and him getting kicked to the face.
Seeing Jaune distracted the Hammer wielding Fatui tried to swing his hammer at Jaune only to meet a high pressured gale to the chest shooting him away from the fight a huge explosion of dust appeared from a far telling the rest where the Fatui member shoot off. A Geomancer Bracer cried in pain as he was hit to the chest by a wind slash.
But the Fatui didn't stand idle when the two slowly dismantled their companions.
Ren was hit by a Geo construct to the face as Jaune was shot by a Pyroslinger.
"Damn it." Jaune fells as he was hit by a lightning strike from the familiar of a Cicin mage, Jaune's left hand slackened due to the paralyzing effect of the electro attack.
Jaune tried to shakily stand up only for Ren's body to hit him. Ren was blasted in the air landed on his back.
Ren grunted as his Aura flickered but he continued to stand using his blade a support. The air then started to grow cold as they heard footsteps coming closer.
"Well well, looks like the rat has been caught." A woman with fair skin and white hair walked slowly as the Fatui gave way.
"And from the said rat has brought in friend. How unsightly." Fatui agents tackle Ren to the ground to stop him from harming the Harbinger.
"Now then, return what you have stolen from me." The woman's fingers traced Jaune's chin and slowly lifted it up for him to face her.
"Yours? hah, from what I remember this belongs to the Archon of Mondstadt." Jaune smirked only to be slapped to the face.
"I said return what you have stolen from me!" Cryo started to crawl from the ground to Jaune's legs.
The woman lean closer to Jaune as she looked at his eyes threateningly.
On for Jaune to spit at her. Anger flashed at the woman's face as she drew her arm back ready to palm Jaune's Solar plexus.
But she stopped as she heard spark of electricity. She turned to Ren who is now standing blade drawn, the agents that surrounded him were on the ground electro element dances throughout their body.
The same purple element dance on Ren's arms towards his blade. The sword gave a purple glint as statics of electricity raced through the whole sword.
The woman used her cryo vision to stop Ren but with a slash from his sword the freezing ice disintegrated.
Then Ren disappeared in a flash of purple lightning.
The woman tried to defend only for her to feel pain on her defending arms and chest.
Ren appeared a good distance behind her only to fall on his knee.
"Damn it!" Ren's muscle ached at the mimicry that he tried.
The woman cried at the pain as suddenly element of Pyro appeared on her hand. Though still paralyzed she forced her arm to be pointed as the kneeling Ren as Ball of flame builds up on her hand.
But just as she was about to fire a Flaming Phoenix flew towards her and her underlings.
"La Signora. 8th member of the Fatui Harbinger." The woman now named Signora gritted her teeth as she saw the appearance of the man.
Agents tried to flank Diluc but was all immediately slashed by the Claymore that he wields.
The rest of the Fatui stepped back as they saw what happened to their companions.
"Take care of them." Diluc said to his men as they took Jaune and Ren to the horses.
"Get them to the Knight's Headquarters." Diluc ordered the Men nodded and swiftly rode their horse away.
"Now then Diplomats of Snezhnaya. How do you plead?" Diluc mockingly said as he stabbed his claymore on the dirt. Screeching of metal can be heard as different type of weapons were drawn at the same time.
New chapter! A bit shorter than normal since most of my chapter are 4k my longest chapter was the 7k words which was the chapter 3.
I'm not really good at making action scenes.
But I hope some of it makes sense.
