It was around ten in the morning and it was Sunday morning, which means it was her day off, and since it was her day off, Penelope got to sleep in. Derek has been spending the last few night with her in her apartment, sleeping on her couch. Penelope had thought about sharing her bed with him, but since they haven't officially gone out on a date yet and they only been making out, Penelope still didn't want to rush anything yet, even though Derek had reminded her several times they already rushed it, the moment they started to make out. Penelope sighs deeply as she rolled on her back as she looked up at the ceiling, as she was in deep thoughts again.

Penelope loves Derek, and even though they are just starting out, she just isn't sure if taking that next step like her bed with him, in their relationship would be a good idea or not. The last time she shared her bed with someone, It was Kevin Lynch and look how that turned out. But of course, Derek Morgan is nothing like Kevin Lynch, and she has thanked God every day for that. Penelope just want her first time with Derek to special, a night she can remember.

Penelope's thoughts was broken the moment her cell was going off, luckily it was her personal cell and not her work one, because she's not supposed to be working today, she has been working all week and Hotch already given her Sunday off, and had Kevin help the team with the next case.

" Hello?" Penelope asked as she rubbed her eyes as she was still waking up.

" Hey, are you just now getting up?" JJ responded with a chuckle as she looked over at the clock on her stove. It's like fifteen minutes after ten." She said with a snort as she took a drink of her coffee.

" I am very aware of the time JJ. Is that why, you called me? To remind me of the time?" Penelope asked as she pulled back the covers and sat up as she placed both feet on to the ground.

" No, I actually called to see if you wanna go shopping and maybe have lunch after. I haven't really seen you all week, except for work and I thought maybe we could catch up." JJ suggested.

" Um, yeah we could do that. But don't you have to work though?"

" Hotch said he would call me, if they need me." So, what you say Garcia? Wanna go shopping?"

Penelope stood up as she nods her head." Yeah, just give me like thirty minutes and I meet you out front."

" I will see you soon." JJ said as she ended the call.

Penelope set her cell down on her night table as she walked over to her dresser drawers. Pulling the top drawer open, Penelope pulled out a clean bra and a matching clean panties. Pushing the drawer closed, she pulled the second drawer open and grabbed a pair of jeans and a cute top. After checking to make sure she didn't dropped anything, Penelope walked out of her room and headed into the bathroom, to take a quick shower.

After her shower, Penelope dried off and got dressed. Since today's weather looks like it's gonna be a cool day, Penelope decided to just leave her down. But she brought a hair scrunchie with her just in case.

Walking into her bedroom, Penelope grabbed her cell before walking out of the living room to grab her purse and house keys. Penelope took a look around her apartment, and then walked out her apartment door, heading down stairs to meet JJ.

Walking out front, Penelope waved her hand towards JJ as she saw JJ pulling along the curb." Hey JJ." Penelope greeted as she got into JJ'S car." I am actually glad you decided to go shopping and have lunch." She said as she closed the door and buckled her seatbelt.

" Why?" JJ asked with a chuckle.

" Because I got something to tell you and I kinda need your advice.

Mostly all morning, Penelope and JJ did their shopping at their favorite apartment stores at the Virginia Mall. Around noon, they both decided to have lunch at the little cafe. Sitting down at the table across from each other, Penelope started to look through the menu.

" So, are you going to tell me, what's on your mind?" JJ asked as she took a drink of her ice cold water.

Penelope sighs heavily as she closed and set her menu down." Okay, remember the day after you guys came back from New Hampshire, and I told you that Derek and I finally told each other our feelings?"

" Yeah, are you guys having problems already? I mean it's only been a week."

" No everything is fine with us, actually everything has been great so far between us, considering it's only been a week." Penelope said with a soft giggle and a huge grin on her face.

" So, what's the problem?"

" Well, the problem is that I really want to share my bed with him. But he's been sleeping on my couch, all week." Penelope said as she also took a drink of her ice water.

JJ scrunched her brows together as she shook her head." Are you seriously telling me, all Week Derek has been sleeping over, and you two haven't shared a bed yet? There's something seriously wrong with this picture."

Penelope sighs as she rolled her eyes." The only thing that's wrong with this picture is that I actually want to share my bed with Derek.. it's just the last time I shared a bed with someone was Kevin Lynch and we both know how that turned out."

" Penelope, Derek is not Kevin Lynch."

" Yeah, I know."

" Is that all?" JJ asked as she took another drink of her ice water.

" Well, another reason why I am kinda afraid to share my bed with Derek is because, I don't wanna rush things. Even though, we already did kinda rushed into it, when we made out last week."

" Want my advice?"

" That's the whole reason to have this conversation with you."

" Share your bed with him, don't worry about anything about rushing into anything. Just sleep with him and I don't exactly mean having sex with him. But sleep with him, and everything will be fine." JJ said with a nod.

" Yeah, but what if I want to have sex with him?"

" Well, that's totally up to you. But don't do it if you're not ready."

Penelope nods her head." Thanks JJ." Penelope said as she picked up the lunch menu and started to browse through it again. Penelope knows JJ is right, and she should just share her bed with Derek, and when she's ready if she's ready, they could take it to the next level.

After lunch, JJ and Penelope decided to do some more shopping. Couple of hours after JJ dropped Penelope off and headed towards the office, Penelope walked through her apartment. As she closed the door behind her and set her shopping bags on to her couch, Penelope walked into the kitchen and made herself some tea. While she was waiting for the tea kettle to steam, she heard her cell going off. She walked back into the living room and grabbed her cell out of her purse.

" Hello?" Penelope asked as she answered.

" Hey, baby girl. We are about to fly to Los Angles and I wanted to give you a call before we take off." Derek answered as he grabbed his go bag from his desk." How is your day so far?"

" Awe your so sweet handsome, that's one of the reasons why I love you. My day has been good so far, I just went shopping and had lunch with JJ, and now I am about to have some tea relax for the rest of the day. I might even watch a movie or two." Penelope answered with a smile.

" That sounds nice baby girl. Listen I gotta go, but I will see you later tonight."

" I will leave the key under the welcome mat. Have a safe trip." Penelope said as she ended the call and walked back into the kitchen. Turning off the stove, Penelope grabbed a coffee mug and a tea bag. After she poured some hot water over the tea bag and added some sugar. Penelope walked back into the living room and sat down on the couch as she grabbed the remote.

Once Penelope found a movie to watch, she sat back against the couch with her feet under her as she took a drink of her tea. Today was a good day and tonight will be even better when Derek comes over, she might even fix him dinner before he comes over. It's been awhile since Penelope had cooked for anyone really, so tonight will be good to start again.
