It was Friday night, which means it was finally her first official date with Derek. As Penelope was getting ready for her date, she started to wonder where he was planning on taking her. All knows is that Derek said he was going to take her out to dinner and probably out to dancing as well, he just didn't mention were. He wanted it to be a surprise. She also couldn't help but wonder if she should expect anything to happen tonight. After talking to JJ just a few days ago, Penelope had considered to share her bed with Derek. She still isn't ready to go that far with him just yet. But just the thought of sleeping in his arms hopefully tonight, has put a smile across her face and made her blush a little.
After Penelope put the final touches of her lipstick and did one more check of herself, making sure her hair was just right and that her dress didn't have any wrinkles. She grabbed her purse as soon as she heard a knock at her door. Reaching for the door with a huge smile, Penelope opened the door as soon as she noticed Derek standing in front of him. She gasps softly as she couldn't believe how handsome he looked tonight, She always thought he looked handsome no matter what he was wearing. But tonight he was even more handsome than ever. Especially in the outfit he's wearing tonight.
" You looking very handsome tonight." Penelope said as she smiles softly as she closed and locked the door behind her.
" Thanks baby girl." Derek said softly as he stepped closer as he leans down and kisses her passionately and deeply as he moans softly against her lips. He slowly pulls back as he sighs softly." You know, maybe we should just stay in tonight, I mean you do look so damn beautiful right now, and I am not sure if I want other men looking at my date all night." He said softly with a smirk." I might have to fight them off."
Penelope giggles softly as she shook her head." You promise to take me out to dinner and dancing, I have been looking forward to this date all week. We are going out." She said as she leans up and kisses him softly and tenderly.
Derek nods his head as he grabbed her hand and started to walk downstairs towards the front entrance of her apartment building." We should get going then, since we do have reservations waiting for us."
" Where are we going exactly?" Penelope asked as they reached Derek's car.
" You will find out soon enough, now no more questions." Derek said as he opened the door for her. But before Penelope had a chance to get in, Derek captured his lips against hers once more as he kisses her more passionately and deeply as he slowly pulls back." You really do look beautiful tonight."
" Thanks handsome." Penelope said as she climbed in and got her seatbelt buckled once Derek closed the door. She smiled as she watched him walking to the drivers side. After Derek got his seatbelt buckled and started the engine, he put the car into drive and pulled away from the curb. Penelope reaches over and locked her fingers with his.
Pulling in front of the restaurant, Penelope noticed the name as she looked over at Derek for a moment." The Blue Lagoon?" She asked.
" Yeah, is something wrong?" Derek asked with concern.
No, of course not. Don't be silly. It's just that The Blue Lagoon, is a very expensive restaurant in town, even Kevin would never take me to a place like this. He said he would never spend his money on a place like this." Penelope answered softly.
Derek reached over as he placed his hand against her face." Well, baby girl your not dating Kevin Lynch anymore, your dating Derek Morgan, and I don't mind spending my money on a place like this, you deserve to be whine and dine. Are you ready to go in?"
Penelope just nods her head as she smiles softly at him.
" Good." Derek said as he got out first. He then walked over to Penelope's side and opened the door for her. As soon as she got out, Derek closed the car door and made sure it was locked as he took her hand and walked into the restaurant with her.
The hostess looked up from her guest list." Welcome to The Blue Lagoon, do you have reservations for tonight?" She asked.
" Yes, Table for two. It's under Morgan." Derek answered as he placed his hand against the small of Penelope's back.
The hostess looked down and nods her head as she noticed his name." Your table is right this way, Come and follow me." She said as she grabbed two menus and took Derek and Penelope to their table.
" A waiter would be right with you." The hostess said as she handed them their menus.
" Thanks." Derek said with a friendly smile as the hostess walked away from their table. He glanced over as he noticed Penelope was already looking through the menu." Just order whatever you want baby girl." He said with a grin.
" Even the prices are expensive." Penelope responded as she kept looking through the menu. It's no wonder Kevin never wanted to take her, she thought.
" Hey, don't worry about that. I got it covered. Just enjoy tonight's date and let me worry about the prices." Derek said as he took a drink of his ice water, when he noticed one of the waiters walking towards their table.
" Good evening, my name is Garrett and I will be your waiter for this evening. Are you guys ready to order?" He asked as he pulled out his pad and a pen.
Penelope spoke up first as she was ready to order." I would like to try your Jumbo shrimp, also I would like the Fettuccine with Alfredo sauce, and I would like Chicken Parmesan as well." Penelope said as she looked up from the menu.
The waiter just nods his head as he took her order." What about you sir?"
" You know what? Why don't you make that order for two." Derek responded as he closed the menu.
" What about drinks?"
" Two glasses of white wine, would just be fine." Derek answered as he gave the waiter their menus but kept his eyes and attention on Penelope.
" You know, you didn't have to order the same thing I ordered. You could have order something different." Penelope said as the waiter walked away from their table as she took a drink of her ice water.
Derek chuckled as he nods his head." True, but I wanted to have what you were having." He said as a smiles softly at her. He then looked over at the dance floor and noticed other couples were already on the dance floor." Wanna dance, before our food gets here?"
Penelope nods her head as she smiles even bigger." I was hoping you would ask." She said as she felt Derek grabbing her hand and pulling her up and towards the dance floor.
The moment another slow song started, Derek wrapped an arm around Penelope's waist and pulls her even closer to him as he he held her hand against his heart as he started to dance with her.
" So, how are you enjoying the date so far?" He asked softly as he rests his forehead against hers.
Penelope smiles softly as she moved along with him to the song." So far, I am enjoying the date very much." She said softly as she closed her eyes for a moment as she loves being in his arms like this and being this close to him, actually feels good right now.
Derek smirks as he gently lifted her chin up by his index finger and slowly brought her lips towards his. Derek kisses her slowly and softly as he slowly pulls back. A second later he crashed his lips back down to hers as he kisses her passionately and deeply. He grazed his tongue against her bottom lip asking for permission to feel his tongue against hers. When he felt Penelope opening her mouth for him, Derek slides his tongue and massage her tongue against his as he groans against her lips. He slides his fingers through her hair as he tilted her head back as he couldn't get enough of the taste of her lips.
Penelope groans and moans softly against his lips as she placed both hands against his chest as she slowly pulls away and started to catch her breath as she waits for her brain to start working again." Okay, wow.. that was amazing and very intense. But, why? I mean you've never kissed me like that before, so, why now?"
" Because I love you Penelope Garcia, and there's no other women I would ever want but you. You're my girl and you always will be my girl." Derek said as he leans down and kisses her passionately and deeply.
Penelope smiles against his lips as she slowly pulls back." I love you Derek Morgan and there's no other men I would ever want but you, and you're my guy and you always will be my guy." She said softly as she giggles softly.
" Silly girl." Derek said with a soft chuckle as he kisses the tip of her nose. He looked up when he noticed the waiter came back to their table with their orders." Come on babe, our food is ready." He said as he wrapped his arm around waist and kisses her temple as he leads her back towards the table.
All through dinner, Penelope and Derek talked about what they should do together over the weekend, since they both had the weekend off together. Penelope even mention to Derek that maybe they shouldn't tell Kevin about them just yet. Kevin knows that she's seeing someone, he just doesn't know that it's Derek and Derek is okay with that.
After dinner and after Derek paid for the dinner and the drinks. Both Derek and Penelope got back into Derek's car. As soon as Derek pulled away from the restaurant and headed towards back to Penelope's apartment, she looks over at him.
" Spend the night with me."
" Are you sure?" Derek asked as he glanced at her for a moment before turning his attention back to the road.
Penelope nods her head." Yeah, I am sure, but I don't you sleeping on the couch. I want you to share my bed with you."
" Really? Are you ready for that?" Derek asked. He always thought what it would be like to take that next step with Penelope, he just never would've thought it would be tonight.
" Derek, I just want to sleep in your arms tonight. It's been awhile since I had a man holding me while I sleep and tonight, I want that man to be you. I'm still not ready to go all the way with you just yet." She said softly with a smile.
Derek nods his head as he lifted her hand up and kisses her hand softly." Well, baby girl, I am your man tonight." He said with a smirk.
