A long chapter here. Ending with a lemon.

I titled this chapter 'Openness', because it's really about NaruHinaSasu reconnecting and opening themselves up to each other even more. For my readers that want to see a little more NaruSasu romance, this chapter gives some of that.

Tsunade sat and stared at Hinata from across her desk.

Hinata was sitting in the chair beside Naruto and had on a cream-colored long robe with a golden rope to tie it in place. Tsunade had requested for Kakashi to be here because it would seem her sensei was also under Danzo's radar. "So. What you're telling me is. You had broken into my office all those years ago, because of Itachi. You stole two scrolls and that's when you found out Neji was your brother. So, you then found the people that opposed your father's request to eliminate the clan seal and you just…lost your fucking mind. Is that right Hinata?"

Hinata let out a silent, heavy breath through her nose and didn't react to the insult. "Hokage-sama."

Tsunade had her office door shut and held up a hand to Hinata as she pinched the bridge of her nose. "Hinata. Don't start. Let's not act like…I didn't welcome you into my life and you didn't welcome me into yours. I remember your dreams. Your ambitions. I was there to see the sparkle in your eyes when you found out what you wanted to do with your life. I encouraged you to be a leader for your clan and to not back down from anything or anyone."

Hinata stared at Tsunade. Her head was held high and she wanted to show no ounce of regret. "I did just that ma'am. I didn't do anything wrong. Not in my eyes."

Tsunade leaned up in her chair and rested her elbows on her desk. She looked at Hinata with her brows knitted together. "You did nothing WRONG? Killing a man that just retired isn't WRONG? Threatening the council so they could sway to your vote is ILLEGAL. Yet, you're telling me you didn't lose your mind? Maybe I should have you reevaluated about that Hinata."

Hinata thinned her lips as she took another deep breath, "What happened to my family was wrong. Those people played with my family's life. That man Danzo ruined my family and he ruined the Uchiha clan. Most of those people on the council shunned Naruto-kun. Especially Danzo, ma'am. What was I to do? Danzo even went as far as to attack my family while I was on a mission. Turn my grandfather against me and killed my father. He tried to have me and Kakashi-sensei killed Hokage-sama. How is that fair? Yet I am the one being judged."

Tsunade shook her head at this. "So what? You and Danzo are just torturing each other? You stoop down to his level to hurt him is that right? Since we're on the subject of stooping down to low levels. This morning it was discovered my old comrade Orochimaru committed suicide. Slit his own wrists. Slowly bled out. Now I know Orochimaru and that's not him. Yet, that's all that could be concluded. You know anything about that Hinata? Don't lie to me either. I care for you too much for you to disrespect me like that."

Hinata's face finally showed her frustration. "These are all evil humans Hokage-sama. My clan is not evil. My father…he was not evil. He just couldn't fight anymore against these vile people. If you want to clump me in the category of Orochimaru and Danzo, then I understand. What I did in your eyes is wrong, and I accept all punishment for it. If that's what you want to do."

Tsunade leaned back in her chair and ignored the heated stare from Naruto as she crossed her arms under her breast. "I should. Honestly, I am so angry you took this route Hinata. I should charge you and take your title away, but I'm no idiot. I know what comes with that decision. I don't need that right now. Too much is going on. I have a damn war at stake Hinata. A crazy fucking terrorist organization threatening to invade my village almost every fucking day and you hit me with a dash of you being a murderous vigilante! I'm pissed at you, but I don't need a clan trying to commit a coup happening on my watch."

Tsunade shook her head as she looked at Hinata, "Why didn't you come to me Hinata? We could have worked on this together. You just shut me out. You sat there, in the hospital and pushed everyone away."

Naruto finally couldn't take this anymore. Hinata didn't need this guilt trip. "I don't get your question. Why didn't she come to you? Well, why didn't Orochimaru die after all the information was swiped from his head? We all knew he had a torturing hold on Hinata and she had to sit there for weeks in constant pain. She wasn't eating. She wasn't sleeping. She was withering away. Why did no one help her then? She came to you in that situation."

Tsunade gave Naruto a sharp look. Telling him to silently shut the hell up before her temper got the best of her, but Naruto didn't back down.

"Hinata just showed you all the documents she had. The Uchiha massacre. The Caged Bird seal scandal, and yet all we're talking about is all the messed-up things HINATA has done. Why? This makes no sense. I'm not saying she was right. We've had our fair share of disagreements in the past about this, but I can't just sit here and watch you bash Hinata like she's the sick twisted person that tried to kill two dedicated Jonin while they were out on a mission to serve you. Like she was the one to send ninja's to kill a clan and their leader. Like she was the one to attack the leaf village and kill the third Hokage. Hinata didn't do this, those MEN that you are bashing her for confronting, did this."

Kakashi stood behind Tsunade and looked at Naruto rather impressed. He's come a long way. The way he could articulate himself was noteworthy.

Tsunade shook her head as she looked at Naruto. "It's not about that. I know Orochimaru is shit. I know Danzo is shit. Hinata is BETTER than that. You don't lower yourself to the enemy's level to beat them. I know you were hurting Hinata. We were working on the Orochimaru situation as fast as possible. Every time we confronted him he would raise the intensity of the dark chakra. So, it wasn't exactly easy. I can admit I failed you on that and I apologize. Naruto…you're saying you support everything Hinata has done? You stand behind her?"

Tsunade looked at Naruto now. Her eyes bore down on him and held burning intensity. "Do you really think that's what a leader does? A possible Hokage leader. This is why men like Danzo would NEVER be Hokage. Yet, you think it's okay to sink to such a disgusting level."

"Hokage-sama. If I may."

Kakashi cleared his throat as Naruto matched the intense stare from Tsunade. Not backing down in the slightest. "Can we just move on? There is no reason to create further bad blood. There is no reason to dwell on this if we're letting it go. Hinata from her end has acknowledged what she has done. It's all out in the open, now we just make sure nothing like this happens in the future."

Hinata looked at Kakashi and he gave her a look that said this BETTER end here.

Hinata nodded her head in agreement.

Tsunade looked at Kakashi and then at Hinata. That connection between the two held strong from when Hinata was a genin. "Fine. I'm just raising my blood pressure at this point. I'm glad all of this is out in the open. This is good to know. Kakashi has brought to my attention that Itachi Uchiha is in this village as well. That he helped you get back to the village. Given the information that has been discovered. It's a lot to take in, but I think I can get a pardon in. It'll be a meeting with the council, but I'm sure they'll agree."

Plus. She needed the extra force from Itachi. She needed him on their side right now.

Tsunade ran her hands through her blonde locs and looked at Hinata, "You have to take the council position your father had Hinata. So, soon I'll expect you at the meetings. Understood?"

Hinata nodded her head in understanding. "Yes Hokage-sama. I just want to say thank you. For all you've done for me and my clan. I'm sorry if I've lost your trust, I will work on rebuilding it ma'am. I promise you that."

Hinata reached her hand over the table. Offering a handshake for agreement. Tsunade looked at Hinata like she was crazy. She reached over and took Hinata's hand before pulling Hinata over the table and giving her a hug. "I don't need you to rebuild Hinata. I need you to not give in. I know this world is dark and cold. Don't give in to it."

Hinata closed her eyes as she accepted the embrace. "Yes ma'am."

Tsunade pulled away from Hinata and dismissed her and Naruto. Her eyes stayed on Naruto as he walked out the office, when her door closed and it was just her and Kakashi in there she spoke again. "That Uchiha and Naruto's dedication isn't to Konoha anymore. It's to Hinata. I've lost them."

Kakashi hummed in agreeance to this. Tsunade shook her head. "They killed Orochimaru. I know it. Just can't prove it." Kakashi again made the same sound. Tsunade turned and looked at Kakashi, "You know Danzo is missing right?"

"Yes ma'am." Kakashi looked at the door Hinata and Naruto walked out of before looking at Tsunade.

She glared at him. "Did you know about any of this?" Kakashi stared calmly at Tsunade, "About what?" Her jaw squared as he danced around the questions, "About Danzo."

Kakashi shook his head, "I can honestly say, no I did not." She never asked him if he knew about Orochimaru's death. So he wasn't lying.

Tsunade sighed as she leaned back in her chair. "I bet my bottom dollar they had something to do with Danzo disappearing too. The council is going to be scared shitless when Hinata takes Hiashi's position. Especially now that I know she's been silently torturing them for years. Ugh, I'll deal with that later. The intel department has come to me with some news about the Akatsuki. Particularly their leader Pain. They think they've discovered a way to defeat him. How to avoid an invasion to the village and slowly tear down the Akatsuki organization inside out, but I need Naruto, Sasuke and Neji for this."

Kakashi nodded his head in understanding. Hinata needed to rest. She's been to hell and back. "I think that's good. Hinata needs to stay back."

Tsunade shook her head, "No. I need her for something else. According to intel, Naruto, Sasuke and Neji on a team with Jiraiya could meet Pain head on and battle him on his turf. Hinata, I need her to meet with the leadership of rain village. Use her status and name to build fake relations so we can see how deep rooted Akatsuki really is. Hinata can go with team ten and you."

Kakashi didn't really think that was a good set up. He didn't even want Hinata to go. What she's been through would take months to recover from.

So, he worked his brain in overdrive for a better outcome. "Ma'am. With all due respect. Could we tweak that? Can we move Shikamaru to be on Naruto's team? They would need a strategist and Shikamaru is caught up with everything Akatsuki. Since he's engaged to someone that works in intel. Lord Jiraiya can take Shikamaru's place and provide better protection for Hinata in case I cannot. Choji can stay with Ino since they work well together and Hinata trusts Ino so that will work well. Rain village as you know ma'am is not a place to take lightly."

Tsunade agreed with this, "Sounds good. Neji is mature and level headed. He'll keep Naruto and Sasuke in check. What about Itachi? Do you want him out there with you?"

Kakashi shook his head at this. "No. Itachi has done enough for this village. Plus I'm sure one main reason he will be pardoned is because you see him as useful. Both Neji and Hinata would be more at peace on this mission, knowing Itachi's here to watch over their clan."

Tsunade turned around in her seat to look at Kakashi. She squinted her eyes at him. Studying him. "Your plans dance around your former student Hinata a lot. You seem to forget she's not really your daughter, ya know. You've always babied her. Your strategies makes sense and they aren't bad. They are very good. I'm just saying your plans revolve around what's best for Hinata."

Kakashi looked at Tsunade and arched a brow, "Well. What can I say Hokage-sama?"

He was on her side after all.

Naruto followed Hinata around the market as she shopped for groceries. He had his arm draped around her shoulder and casually walked with her. "Zucchini, pasta with baked chicken with a spicy pesto sauce is really good Princess. I remember you made that once at Kakashi's place and I worked really hard to mimic you while I was gone. I never got it right."

Hinata looked up at Naruto and smiled brightly. "You liked my cooking that much? I'm so happy Naruto-kun. That's what we'll have for dinner tonight."

Naruto smiled at this and the two continued through the market, "I hope you're not upset with me sticking up for you back there at the Hokage's office Hinata. I just couldn't take it, but I don't want to step on your toes."

Hinata smiled at this, "I'm not upset. Lady Tsunade wasn't going to listen to my reasoning. So I became mute because that's what she really wanted. She wanted to give me a tongue lashing." Naruto looked at Hinata amused.

Hinata pretty much said she mentally checked out the conversation because it was a drag.

Naruto smiled at her and chuckled. "Yeah, but it was a dumb tongue lashing. She was out of line to compare you to Danzo and Orochimaru. She was picking at that point. Trying to see if you'd snap. I didn't like it."

Naruto pulled Hinata closer to him and kissed the top of her head. Hinata leaned into his touch and hummed. "It's okay. It all worked out, I love when you express yourself Naruto-kun." Naruto smiled at this and kissed the top of her head again.

Soon a mischievous grin covered Naruto's handsome face and he started to whisper into Hinata's ear. She could hear him clear as day. Saying such dirty words. What he was going to do to her when he got her alone. Punish her for being so bad and sad lately. How she was going to orgasm over and over all night long.

She was the color of a beet walking around. No one knew what Naruto was saying and how he told her to not make it obvious. How she squirmed and enjoyed the treatment Naruto was giving her. She was already getting excited and giddy.

When the two were done shopping they made their way back to the compound to see Sasuke and Itachi outside the Hyuga gates waiting for them. Naruto looked confused at them, but Sasuke looked annoyed at Naruto.

Why was Hinata looking like that? She looked like they just had a 'moment' together and Sasuke told Naruto not to do anything without him.

Naruto ignored Sasuke's glare and looked at Itachi. "So we're not hiding the fugitive anymore?" Itachi grinned at this and Sasuke told them to come inside the house. As Itachi walked in first, Hinata was close behind him. Sasuke watched as Naruto blocked his way of going in their home with one arm.

"Relax. We didn't do anything. I just talked to her how I talk to you when we're setting the mood. I know it'll be better together." Naruto grinned at Sasuke as he stood one step above Sasuke so he was towering over him. Sasuke arched a brow and looked up at Naruto, silently pleased that Naruto knew what he was thinking. "Hn. Good."

That was all Sasuke said as he moved Naruto's arm. The young blonde followed behind Sasuke with a big grin on his face. Hinata and Sasuke were so easy to fluster when they didn't want to be noticed.

When they all made it inside Neji was sitting on the couch with Kakashi. Shikamaru and Ino were sitting on another couch. Neji was about to get up to help with the groceries, but smiled when he saw Sasuke and Naruto take them from Hinata and into the kitchen. "You've been busy last night Hinata."

Hinata blinked and looked at Neji, "Hmm? Me? I was sleeping brother." Neji arched a brow at her statement and Kakashi winked at her. "That's the story we're sticking with Hinata. Good job."

Hinata blushed at the compliment and giggled a little as she covered her mouth. Neji smiled at this. It has almost been a month since he's seen Hinata like this. He never thought he'd say it, but he missed seeing his shy little sister smile. "How did everything go with the Hokage?"

Hinata went into the kitchen to put on an apron and head band. She spoke as she started to prepare dinner. "Oh. She was very upset with me, but I think we smoothed things out before our meeting was over."

Naruto leaned over on the kitchen counter as he watched Hinata cook. He arched his brow at her and smirked, "That's all you're going to tell them?" Hinata pouted her lips as she listened to him, but focused on cooking. "Oh Naruto-kun. Lady Tsunade was upset with me. I do not think she meant what she said."

Kakashi hummed as he chimed in. "Oh no, she meant it. She knows you have something to do with Orochimaru's death, but she's angry she cannot connect the dots. Given everything going on right now, she needs Naruto and Sasuke more than she needs to have conflict with the Hyuga clan. Plus if there is a war or village invasion down the line she wants all hands-on deck. So, it's a political game between you and the Hokage now Hinata."

Hinata smiled as she washed and started to cut the zucchini. "I know. I understand that I am not untouchable and I understand that Naruto and Sasuke should not be involved in what I am striving to do, sensei."

Sasuke was behind Naruto, leaning against the refrigerator as he looked at Kakashi and arched his brow. "Is that what you're insinuating?" Kakashi smiled under his mask at Sasuke, "Yes."

Shikamaru stretched his arms in the air as he yawned. He smelled dinner cooking. The warmth the kitchen's heat gave and now he was starting to grow tired. Ino smiled at him. She sat on the floor and ushered for Shikamaru to lay on the floor as well and to put his head on her lap. Which he gladly accepted.

Once he got comfortable he looked over at Naruto and Sasuke. As protective as ever of Hinata. They've been like this since they were genin. Even when Sasuke was going through that 'fake not liking Hinata' period.

"Naruto. You and Sasuke aren't politicians. You're ninja's. Granted Hinata is a ninja as well and so am I and Ino, but you two have NO affiliation with politics. Sasuke, you weren't clan heir. Your brother was. So he was taught everything political, clan leadership and etiquette. Naruto, no offense, but you are way off the spectrum from this conversation. Even if you became Hokage, you're the face of politics, that are in the background. As Hokage you'd still fight tooth and nail against the council, especially with your lack of political knowledge."

Shikamaru finally opened one eye to look at Naruto and Sasuke as they silently glared at him. "Even though it's a drag and super annoying. I'm in politics. My father is being a lazy bum and stepping down early to live the retired life. So, Hinata and I will be on the council together pretty soon."

Hinata looked up from busying herself with cooking and gave a gentle smile to Shikamaru. "That is excellent to hear. It will be nice to have someone I know with me."

Shikamaru grunted at this. "We'll be the youngest ones there. Everyone will try to veto every idea we come up with because they'll think we're too immature. It's going to be a drag, but yeah. I'll be there to support ya. So no need to worry about being alone. We'll suffer together."

Hinata giggled at Shikamaru. He made it sound absolutely horrible. She then looked over at Naruto and Sasuke.

They looked completely unhappy with the conversation.

Naruto had his elbow on the counter and rested his chin in his palm as he stared at Shikamaru dryly. Sasuke still leaned against the refrigerator and had his arms crossed over his chest as he also stared at Shikamaru with an annoyed look.

Sensing Hinata was staring at them, they both slowly turned to her and gave her a look that showed pure jealousy. So Hinata was going to spend unrestricted time with Shikamaru all the time now? They would be on the council together so they'd have to hold information and certain things to each other. Naruto and Sasuke would be out of the loop AGAIN.

Plus, the fact that they knew Shikamaru was into the same kinks as Hinata made the hairs on their arms stand.

Hinata blinked at the two of them. What was wrong? Did she make them upset?

Naruto was the first one to recover from his silent rage and smile at Hinata. Sasuke walked up towards Hinata and quietly asked if there was anything he could help her with. They could see they made her nervous and with the anxiety Hinata's been pushing off lately the last thing they needed was her getting the wrong idea and think they were angry with her.

Kakashi watched the three interact and shook his head amused by them. Never in his wildest dreams did Kakashi ever think his three students would be like this. "So. Before dinner I'd like to discuss the information the Hokage gave me. It's in regards to a mission. Reason I had invited Shikamaru and Ino. One is an assassination mission and the other…seems like a diplomat mission, but judging by where you'll be going it seems like it will turn more into an assassination as well. Our fingers are crossed that it'll stay diplomat though."

Neji was standing and leaned his hips against the couch. He looked from Hinata to Kakashi. "The Hokage isn't really considering Hinata going on a mission so soon? She literally just came back from hell. She can't be thrown back in like that. Me and her both cannot leave the clan alone. You saw what happened last time."

Kakashi closed his eyes and pinched the bridge of his nose. "Well. Trust us on this Neji." Said person frowned at Kakashi, "I cannot." Kakashi let out a sigh and looked at Neji, "Well. Trust ME on this. Okay? I did a lot of rearranging the Hokage's execution plan to please a lot of people and for this to make sense."

Neji remained silent and looked over at Hinata, who had the pasta on the stove boiling and was working on the sauce. Hinata had her head tilted as she looked at Neji. The older Hyuga sighed and looked at Kakashi to continue.

Kakashi looked at the two of them. Bless Naruto and Sasuke's soul dealing with these two Hyuga's. "It's broken up. For the assassination of the Akatsuki leader. Pain. The team will be Shikamaru, Naruto, Neji and Sasuke. For the diplomat mission it will be Hinata, Choji, Ino, Jiraiya and myself."

Naruto squinted his eyes and scrunched his face, "The fact Choji, you and Pervy Sage are all going on a diplomat mission means you want a lot of muscle. Sounds like you want Choji to be able to protect Ino in case she has to leave her body and you want Jiraiya-sensei to be there in case something happens to you."

Shikamaru grumbled as he closed his eyes, "Sounds that way because that's exactly the plan. You think the threat goes beyond the leader of Akatsuki. Why send Hinata, who's recovering and Ino then?"

Shikamaru did not like Ino being involved in the slightest. He was able to keep Ino safe and secured in the village for years now. This upset him to the highest degree.

Kakashi sighed as he leaned back in the chair. "According to the Hokage. Hinata is needed for diplomatic purposes. The leader of the Hyuga clan coming to make relations with a struggling village like Amegakure builds nothing, but promise. It'll also draw out the real threat. Ino could get a lot of intel collected there. In all retrospect, Hinata would just have to be there and glow."

Shikamaru opened his eyes as he looked up at Ino. Did she know about this mission and her role? "In all retrospect? What's the reality of this? Don't keep secrets from me I need to know. I know I'm going with the other team because they need a strategist. Someone that could make a plan to take this Pain guy out as fast as possible. I'll read the classified report on him later, but I need to know what Ino is walking into."

Ino sighed as she looked at Shikamaru. She didn't say anything to him though. The look he had on his face said he was in no mood for Ino's antics.

Kakashi couldn't fault the guy. This was his soon to be wife going on a dangerous mission. "There is a reason we are sending kunoichi's as diplomats and not your typical civilian diplomat Shikamaru. My theory is the threat goes beyond Pain. That threat is hiding in Rain Village and we have to find it. I'm sure conflict will surface. It's not going to be a simple mission."

Hinata tapped her fingers on the counter as she looked over at Sasuke and then Itachi. "Itachi-san. He'll be staying with the Hyuga clan. To protect them?"

Kakashi nodded his head as he looked at Hinata. "Yes. He's not going on this mission. Anything goes south. Your clan will be protected and Itachi has the major burden of protecting the village if Naruto's team cannot do their job."

Naruto rolled his eyes at this and sat up to get plates. The chicken was done cooking and Hinata was just letting everything settle. "Don't worry about us. My team will be fine and successful. You take care of your team. That team is the precious cargo."

Hinata blushed at Naruto's words and almost jumped when he came up behind her and started to place the empty plates in front of her. "It's okay Naruto-kun. We'll be okay. I can take care of myself."

She turned and looked at Naruto and he was frowning. His eyelids were lowered and he looked upset, "I don't like this Hinata."

Naruto looked up at Kakashi and clicked his tongue against his teeth. "Say we find Pain. Defeat him before you all even have a chance to find the actual threat in Amegakure. Can we meet up with you then? Play as your back up?"

Kakashi arched his brow at Naruto, "You think you're that skilled young Naruto? This is a man that has an equally strong partner that stays by his side and has brought the strongest tailed beasts down. Even Itachi followed their orders. You're telling me it would be a walk in the park for you?"

A sly grin crossed Naruto's face. His eyes darkened cool blue and he sat up from hunching over Hinata. "Sensei. It'll get done. Don't worry. Everyone on my team is beyond experienced. I don't think it'll be easy by a long shot, but I know what is at stake. Besides, I know Konoha needs my help. Whether the village wants to admit that or not is none of my business."

After all, Naruto was still simply the demon brat to them.

Naruto watched Hinata start to make plates and Sasuke prepare drinks. He started to take the plates and bring them to the table for everyone to sit and eat. "So? Can we assist or not sensei?"

Kakashi rolled his eyes at Naruto, "You pull this off and I'll finally go on a date. Sure Naruto, come to Amegakure, if you complete your mission first." Naruto smiled at this and the conversations went back to casual as Hinata's dinner was able to calm everyone's nerves.

Once everyone had left their home and Naruto, Hinata and Sasuke were alone. The three were able to unwind about the evening.

Naruto came out the shower, drying his hair. He had on an orange sheer robe that was exposing his defined chest. "Hey. At least the mission is spaced a month out. Still pretty close, but not as bad as last time."

Sasuke had already showered. He was lying on their bed with a pair of dark purple boxer briefs on. Sasuke laid comfortably on the pillow while his arm was draped over his eyes. "It's all stupid. The plan is stupid. The execution is ridiculous and it's another situation where we are walking on anxiety. Why do they keep putting us on missions together?"

He really hated when they did this.

Hinata had just finished pampering herself with items from after her shower. Lotion, face wash, moisturizer. She was behind their byobu now as she put on her silk pajama slip on. It was a lavender colored spaghetti strap that stopped just above her knees. "It will be okay."

Sasuke scuffed at this. Now that Hinata was recovering, she was back to being overly optimistic. "No. It won't be. We all perform reckless when we're on a mission together. Now we're separated, but still assigned the same mission. They just don't want to say it. It's stupid."

Sasuke uncovered his eyes and watched Hinata walk from behind the byobu and stare at him. He was being so negative right now. "Sasuke-kun. Please. Think about the positives."

Sasuke eyed Hinata as she stood in front of him. Naruto looked at Hinata and smirked because she had no idea the affect she already had on them at this very moment. Sasuke's arm had gravitated to his forehead and he was still lying down when he lifted his other arm up from the bed slightly. He used two fingers to direct Hinata to come to him.

She did.

Hinata walked to Sasuke and automatically straddled his hips. Sasuke laid flat on his back as he looked up at her. "There are no positives in this."

His brows furrowed together in frustration. "You'll be in danger. I don't want to have the last month be everything I want for the rest of my life and then go on this mission and it turn horrendous or worse like the last time. This is exactly what happened last time."

Sasuke reached up and touched Hinata's collarbone. How her skin was free from the dark chakra veins pulsating out. How he could just see her original milky skin. How soft she was. Naruto leaned over and growled in Hinata's ear, "Do it again." He whispered to Hinata and pulled away to smirk at her. Naruto took his sharp claw and put it in Hinata's mouth, "I missed you Princess. We missed you."

Sasuke looked over at Naruto and looked at him confused. His breathing picking up from watching Naruto with Hinata. "The merge. You did it that fast?" Naruto smiled brightly at Sasuke, "Yeah. I didn't want to wait anymore and figured I'd slide it in. You thought it'd be some big show?"

Sasuke couldn't help but grin and actually let out an amused laugh, "This is ridiculous. You and Hinata. You two defy logic sometimes." Naruto's smile went to Hinata, "That's my girl. Right Princess?"

Sasuke looked taken back. He knew that him and Naruto…did things together, but he always figured the end result would be pretty much sharing Hinata. "You got me a ring?"

Naruto fully took Hinata from Sasuke and smiled at him. "Well. Everything I've been through with Hinata, I've been through with you. We can't do what we've been doing for years and really say it all meant nothing and chuck it up to us being really good friends. I know I can't. I get it now. I may not have understood and wanted to accept when we were starting out with Hinata, but I get that I can have feelings for a man. Specifically you. I love you and Hinata. Sasuke blinked at him. He started to rapidly blink because he felt his eyes stinging. Naruto smiled at Sasuke and took the black titanium ring with tiny diamonds wrapped around it and held it near Sasuke's ring finger. "So?" Sasuke continued to eye Naruto as he slowly nodded his head for Naruto to go ahead.

Naruto slipped the ring on Sasuke's finger and looked at both Hinata and Sasuke's hand. "I like it. This looks good on you two. Keep it on when we go on the mission. I never want to see you two take it off."

Hinata laid her head on Naruto chest and Naruto kissed the top of her head before he reached over and lightly gripped the back of Sasuke's hair and pulled him into a deep kiss.

She looked at Naruto and Sasuke before she looked at the ring Naruto gave her. "Can you…can you two show me? Show me how to make love? In the past, there was no way Naruto could let out all this chakra and be able to confine and control it, now he could. They could see the progress Naruto has made over the years.

Hinata looked at Naruto amazed. On top of his head sprouted foxy ears. Mimicking what the nine tails historically looked like. His whisker birthmarks sprouted longer and feral. Sasuke jumped slightly when he felt something fuzzy wrap around him. He looked behind him and his mouth slightly dropped open.

A tail.

Sasuke looked at Hinata and noticed a fuzzed orange tail playfully caressing her cheek. "Naruto-kun." She spoke utterly amazed at what was happening. Naruto bit his bottom lip as he gazed at Hinata. His blonde locs cascaded over his eyes, but his electric blue and fiery red orbs could be seen piercing at her.

Naruto kissed her again before he spoke to her, "Your dark chakra lies doormat when the right people come along Hinata. You follow me and Sasuke, and we follow you. We all follow and listen to each other. That's how we become one. That's how we become stronger."

Naruto guided Hinata to lay on her back as he crawled on top of her. Sasuke laid beside Hinata and used his elbow to prop himself up to watch them. Sasuke was hesitant at first. So, I wanted to show Naruto's growth with his leadership skills. If you all remember, in the beginning of the story. Sasuke was the leader. He guided Naruto and Hinata with everything. Now it has shifted to Naruto taking that role.

I saved this chapter for Naruto and Sasuke. Just to show the mental journey it took Naruto to accept who he was and how patient and supportive Sasuke and Hinata were. Took over 40 chapters for Naruto to say he loved Sasuke. Kind of a slow burn vibe.
