Third p.o.v.
The Berserkers ship's sailed back to Berserker island, Hiccup stood beside Dagur but was patting Toothless head as he was leaning into her hand purring like a big cat, Hiccup smiled before looking at Dagur who looking at her "want a scratch as well?" she asked him as Dagur leaned down his head an Hiccup used her other hand scratching Dagur head.
"who's a good killer Berserker men, who are" Hiccup says as Dagur grinned happily closing his eyes forgetting what was thinking about "so when we get back how about l get you a warm bath ready just for you" Hiccup asked and Dagur nodded "if only you join me" he replied "alright" Hiccup reply back.
It was sometime before they reached back to Berserker island, Dagur drag Hiccup back to the house with Toothless behind them, it seem that Dagur couldn't wait for the bath, they reached the house and Hiccup gave Toothless a basket of fish before she an Dagur went to the fill the bath up with water an start a fire to warm up the water.
Once strip of their clothes an the water warmed up, Dagur got in first as Hiccup got in leaning against Dagur chest, the Berserker chief smiled wrapping one around Hiccup waist pulling her a bit closer as Hiccup kissed his cheek, they both washed each other before getting out of the tub and putting their clothes back on.
The Next Day
After a somewhat half burnt breakfast made by Dagur and Toothless with Hiccup trying to eat it, both Hiccup and Toothless were off headed back to Drago Bludvist main ship to catch up and found out anymore information that she could use to found the Dragon king for her father, but it seemed like luck had turned against Hiccup.
While flying Hiccup spotted saw something.. well actually someone following her on a dragon, Toothless smelled the air and growled "l know bud l saw them as well" Hiccup says patting Toothless head as he kept flying, looking a bit closer threw her mask Hiccup saw blue scales and knew who it was and grinned under her mask.
"lets land bud and see what she wants" Hiccup said as Toothless flew to a random island and the night fury landed on the ground as the deadly nadder came into sight an flew to the island landing a couple feet away from them glaring straight at Hiccup.
Astrid hope off Stormfly still glaring at the nightfury rider "what are you doing all the way out here without that crazy Berserker" Astrid asked having her hand ready to grab her axe in case the night fury rider attacked her but the rider didn't do anything just staring at her patting the night fury head as it cooed their rider hand.
Hiccup looked at Astrid and grinned "so what do you want from me" Hiccup asked and Astrid looked shocked to hear Hiccup talk for the first time "an l actually surprise to see you without your friends" Hiccup says as she stopped patting Toothless head "l wanted to speak to you alone, face to face that's including no mask" Astrid replied.
"oh, it's me being here not attacking you good enough" Hiccup snap at Astrid "do me a favour and stop attacking those ships" "an why should we stop, there dragons that are being sold to bad people!" Astrid yelled back with Stormfly ready to fight as Toothless growled taking a step forward ready to shoot at the girl or the other dragon.
"easy bud, best not to get on my dragon bad side" Hiccup says "but what do you really want beside telling me to stop catching dragons" Astrid kept glaring at her "to talk face to face but you wont remove your mask but why are you with Dagur" the blonde says crossing her arms.
"oh l got nothing to tell you and now your wasting my time" Hiccup says getting on Toothless saddle "we meet again soon Astrid the brave" Toothless took off into the sky flying away, but within a couple Hiccup could another set of wings behind her "she is not gonna give up" Hiccup mumbled making Toothless take a tight turn around glaring at the blonde hair.
"fine you want to see my face then only you can see it but you leave my dragon ships alone for a week!" Hiccup yelled, Astrid looked at the dragon rider 'a week without attacking those ships but l get to see her face' Astrid thought but shook her head "its not worth it!" she yelled back turning Stormfly away and flew away not risking but had one more look to see the night fury rider heading south.
"where is she going" Astrid said to herself and kept flying away going back to the edge to catch up with the other dragon riders.
Two Days later
After flying for two days Hiccup an Toothless finally reached Drago Bludvist ships, they were hiding in a water cave bigger enough to hide their ships an dragons army, Hiccup looked around before spotted her fathers ship an went there landed on the dock of the ship, Hiccup got off the saddle stretching her body as did Toothless.
"two days of flying that's a bit ruff on me body" Hiccup stretched her arms an began to walk to the door when it opened and Drago Bludvist walked out of the house she grew up in "Hiccup my daughter you are back late" Drago growled.
"forgive me father, but things had suddenly come up" Hiccup replied back to Drago as he huffed "l am just pleased that your back safe, now report" Drago says an his daughter nodded and began to tell her father of what happened the past two weeks.
Once Hiccup was done explaining with a small report they were both back inside of the house near the fire drinking an eating "l wanted answers to found the dragon king but still nothing l losing my patients" Drago growled slamming his mug down on the table 'much like Dagur' Hiccup thought and refilled her fathers mug.
"we will get the Dragon king father" Hiccup replied back sitting down near the fire next to Toothless who laid his head on her lap, Drago took a big gulp of his drink sitting the mug back down on the table just looking at his only daughter that he rises after she was found as a baby almost 19 seasons ago.
"it's almost your birthday isn't it" Drago asked and Hiccup nodded "yeah it almost l be turning 19 this year" she replied back to Drago patting Toothless head "yes, but are you staying this time or leaving again" he ask drinking again.
"l was thinking of staying half of the day before l leave again to rid some lose ends" Hiccup smirked evilly as Drago grinned at the sight of his daughter he was proud of her of what she become over these years "doesn't matter l will just give you your birthday gift now" Drago got up walking to his desk and pulled out a small wrapping paper an gave it to Hiccup.
Hiccup took the gift an unwrapped it, her eyes widen, the gift was a necklace with shape of a crest half moon with green gems in it, Hiccup looked at her father shocked moving Toothless head and stood up "thank you father it's beautiful" she didn't hesitate hugging Drago before moving away smiling at the gift "guess this makes up the last four birthdays you missed" Hiccup says putting the necklace on and Drago grinned again.
"its fit good, l love it" Hiccup said "good now don't lose it or l will cut your fingers off" Drago threatened but Hiccup laughed "you wouldn't you would have to catch me first" Hiccup grinned knowing it was the truth Drago wouldn't be able to catch her if he dared try.
"l gonna stay for the night or two and leave like l said l have lose ends to tie up and l know that dragon killer is coming here" Hiccup says walking to her room "nothing gets pass you anymore but very well" Drago says watching his daughter an dragon go into her room shutting the door behind when the dragon entered in.
One day later
The next day Hiccup ended up leaving going to Berserkers island, catching up the Grimborn brother and Johann who wasn't happy to see Hiccup but after a few threats with almost beat up he gave her information that he had learned from people he had killed or heard from other traders or Vikings.
Hiccup left after taking a couple things still going to Berserker island, within another couple hours Hiccup spots a few ships that she has never seemed before but stayed up high in the air in the clouds using her spy glass looking down at the ships but decide to ignore them, no point fighting if you don't know who are they.
Another day passed before Hiccup reached Berserker island late in the night, Toothless landed in front of the house as Hiccup got off the saddle an walked in with Toothless behind, there were a few lit candles as Hiccup removed her mask seeing Dagur asleep in his chair that sat near the fire place.
Hiccup smiled removing her armour before going to Dagur side kissing his forehead "Dagur my love time for bed" Hiccup says softly as Dagur groaned waking "your back fast" he mumbles "yeah l wanted to be with you" Hiccup told him as the Berserker chief smiled before sitting up from his chair.
Toothless laid beside the fire and went to sleep as Dagur and Hiccup went to the bedroom, they both got into bed after stripping some clothes off an Dagur wrapped his arms around Hiccup kissing cheek "happy Birthday" he says and Hiccup smiled "thanks Dagur" and they both fell asleep together.
At Berk
Stoick sat outside of his house watching the night skies "happy birthday Hiccup my daughter" he says at the sky with a single tear coming down his face, in so many ways he had regretted sending his only daughter out to sea wishing he had rises her and she could have him proud of anything she did maybe even riding a dragon he would have been proud of that.
A few Days later
Dagur and his men sailed in the undercover of darkness to Berk to attack, standing beside Dagur was Hiccup who didn't have her mask on "oh l remember this place" Hiccup says as Toothless growled "yeah you remember don't you bud an its pay back time" Dagur grinned "l couldn't agreed more with you my dear" "lets get to work".
At the Edge
Astrid was awake with Fishlegs and Heather when a terrible terror mail showed up from Berk, Fishlegs grab the letter and started to read it when his eyes widen in shock, Astrid and Heather looked at the husky boy "whats the matter Fishlegs?" Astrid asked "yeah whats the matter?" Heather says as Fishlegs looked at the two.
"Berk was attacked last night" Fishlegs says "what are you joking" Astrid replied not believing it but the husky boy shook his head "no its true, they were attacked by the Berserker an... the night fury rider" that last part made Astrid angry she ran to her dragon getting on the saddle and Stormfly took off into the sky.
Heather went after her as Fishlegs went to get the twins an Snotlout telling them what happened before they got on their dragons as well and flew back to the Berk, it took them a couple hour before they reached Berk.
But the sight they saw shocked them, houses were destroyed or burned to the ground "why would they do this" Heather says, Fishlegs looked at her "cause they knew Berk was defenceless without us here to protect them" he replied as they landed on the ground in sight their chief came walking over, Gobber was already talking to Astrid about her home.
"in so many ways l feel like this is our fault" Astrid mumbled "how can it be out fault we didn't do anything" Tuffnut says "because we attacked those ships that were carrying the dragons" Astrid replied back "it does, l saw the night fury rider about a week and three days ago, she said she would saw her face if we leave her ships alone but l said it wasn't worth it" Astrid told them.
"guess they are really threatening us now, we couldn't have never know this would happened" Fishlegs says "yes we did, l am not leaving Berk until l know they can protect themselves from this ever happening again" Astrid snapped then she walked away with Stormfly behind her, the others watched.
"she is blaming herself for this" Heather mumbled as Stoick puts a hand on her shoulder "she a Hofferson they are tough she will get threw this, but maybe its best to help her" Stoick says an removes his hand as heather went after Astrid and the others followed behind their leader.
Upton top of the hill side Hiccup watched and grinned "now's its the time to search their base and see they got" she nudge Toothless who opened his wings open and he took off into the sky flying away from Berk, but unknown to Hiccup was being watched by Gobber "what do you want from us rider" he muttered to himself.
