Third p.o.v. Nine months later
The past nine months of winter were cold, mostly terrible for Berk as the dragon riders went home to help since the snow storms were bad killing live stock as well freezing the ocean making it an impossible for ships to go and come in, for Chief Stoick however it wasn't the worst winter he had see, just after sailing his only child off a bad storm had come an winter arrived early when the other dragon riders were all still babies, it was like the gods were truly angry at him and his village suffered for it.
Stoick sighed as he walked around Berk in the early morning checking on everything, walking threw the snow wasn't easy but thankful its the last month of winter meaning everything will start to melt soon, reaching the docks Stoick saw Astrid with Heather melting the ice that covered the ocean letting some traders ships in, walking down Stoick reached the docks as Astrid and Heather had finished melting the ice and landed on the docks.
Heather and Astrid both greeted Stoick before flying off, watching them Stoick watched Astrid thinking that if only he didn't let Hiccup go she could have been brave an a warrior no doubt riding a dragon with the other teens, with a sigh Stoick walked over to the trader ship to see they have bought.
Once the sun had fully rises up and the other riders joined Astrid and Heather they began to plan, these past nine months of winter bad luck to berk but it came with good luck, they stole the dragon eye back from Viggo which surprised them the fact he had it along with Dagur had joined them betraying the night fury rider as well the hunters right in front of them, but he had to gain their trust, but he did tell where all of the actions were happening and they mostly hid and where the supplies dragons they were getting but there was something else they were facing.
The night fury rider has gone quiet no one has seen her for months after Dagur betrayed her, but with a new threat had came, they had only learned his name is Krogan along with that he riders a Singetail an has a army of riders that rode on Singetails, despite how many Singetails they save their numbers grew even more but today the riders were planning to stop them but they had to found where their base was and to where they getting the supplies of dragons from, but now they had a plan to focus on to end this.
Stoick looked to were he saw the dragon riders an shook his head, he knew in some kinda way they will win but lose something as well, but he was focus was on his village and his people that needed to be protected from these dragon riders or other viking villages that would dare attack them but he wouldn't know if someone one will or not since it was almost spring time but it kinda wouldn't stop from other vikings from trying to steal their remaining live stock.
"what you think they are planning this time" Gobber says looking at his friend "who knows, but lets hope they end this fight sooner then later and drag the village into another fight" Stoick mutters picking up a bag of gain "like that's gonna happen, no doubt we will get involved again but not the village you got nothing to fear Stoick" Gobber replies grabbing bag as well as they began to head back up the hill.
Reaching up the hill they saw the dragon riders getting on their dragons and flying away over the open ocean "they be back soon Stoick, have faith in then" Gobber says an walked away, Stoick sighed following his friend, to him he had a choice to make it was either pick a new heir like Astrid or his nephew Snotlout to run and protect the village when he goes but to Stoick hes has to pick the right one that isn't gonna run the village into the ground and kill or let the people die.
Gothi from her house watched Stoick as he followed the two limb blacksmith disappear from her sight, but she knew what he was thinking about, a new heir but he probably had another ten years left inside of him but it was probably almost time to pick a new heir sooner then later just in case but to Gothi she would have Hiccup as the heir but the little baby was no longer alive but with her mother in Valhalla, to day Gothi was still mad at Stoick an her self for not stopping him.
The old healer walked back into her small house, seeing the small half destroy painting of Stoick with his wife and their newborn baby girl, little Hiccup was only 13 hours old when this painting was done but sadly taken down after Valka was taking away and Hiccup was sent to her death, reaching her hand out she touched the painting of Valka who held the baby with a proud smile on her face an so did Stoick.
She remembers the birth, after the midwife said it was girl Stoick looked disappointed but was happy to have a daughter, knowing she would take after hers mother beauty but only days passed and Valka was taken away and Stoick couldn't even look at his own daughter anymore all he could do was think of Valka every time he looked at his daughter, as first he thought giving her up when she reached of the age to marry but he wouldn't last that long.
Stoick gave up so easy and let the ocean kill her instead giving her a full chance of life, if only Valka was here she wouldn't have let that happen to her only daughter an would give Stoick a ear full and let Hiccup choose her own fate of life and maybe would became the next chief of the village and would have made her parents proud as a chief and viking, but it was only a future that didn't happen.
Flying over the ocean the dragon riders were off to have another meeting with the Mala along with Atali an Dagur, six months ago they had defeated Viggo but during the fight Ryker lost his fight during a hard battler to them which surprised them the fact the night fury wasn't with the Grimborn brothers in the fight or any other fights they had with the dragon hunters.. but what they didn't expect was trader Johann was actually was working an seen to be the ringmaster of this whole thing and stop him.
After a couple hours they reached Defenders of the wing island seeing Mala, Atali an Dagur waiting for them, they landed their dragons and got off "sorry we wait, we had to make sure were not followed" Astrid says "understood, lets start this meeting" Mala replies as they walked to a big table sitting down an they started to talk about the next attack.
"so as far we had gather, the hunters are looking for something called the dragon king" Mala reads from her paper "yes but its not Viggo leading the dragon hunters but Krogan and trader Johann" Atali tells everyone "yes, the night fury rider has not been see for many months" Dagur bought up and some eyes looked at him "yes, she hasn't be seen or heard off, we can only think she has disappeared or has left" Mala stated.
Dagur didn't stand up for his ex girlfriend an could only pray that Hiccup was with her father safe, the meeting continued for hours until sun set when everyone started to head back home, Dagur got on his triple stryke Sleuther and flew back to Berserker island thinking over the meeting but his mind was om... Hiccup, the only women he loves an yet he had betrayed her when she needed him the most, despite she was a mask he was able somehow see the hate and angry in her green eyes.
Landing Sleuther, Dagur jump down and walked into his home but saw the back door wide open but nothing was stolen but the basket of fish was now empty only the heads remained, Dagur grab his sword walking slowly towards the back door but stopped when he saw green large eyes looking at him threw the darkness of his home "Toothless?" he says as the night fury came out from hiding and looked at him "what are you doing here?... wait where is Hiccup" he mumbled an saw died blood on the saddle.
Somewhere else far away
Viggo was chained by the wrist as he was pushed forward in a cave walk way that was barely lit with touches, two dragon hunters are in front of him while two were behind so he couldn't escape again like the first six times, how this happen well Trader Johann and Krogan took charge of the whole thing after Hiccup disappear, but something wasn't right she trusted him more then the other two.
Being pushed again Viggo almost fell forward to the ground but didn't as he was lead into a room there standing was Trader Johann and Krogan in front of a cell that was locked, the two looked at Viggo "put him back in the cell" Trader Johann snaps as he looked at the cell behind him "tell us what he is planning" he snaps again but Viggo froze when he heard a laughter coming the cell and he knew who it belong too.
"how would l know, l been stuck in this cell for who knows how long" it was Hiccup and she has been here the whole time for the past five months "you lying bitch!" Johann yells as Hiccup kept laughing her head before speaking "don't you remember, he betrayed me! then suddenly l am locked in this cell, both of you are traitors to my father Drago" Hiccup had such venom in her voice Viggo noticed the four dragon hunters shiver in fear.
Viggo was pushed into the cell as the cell door was locked behind him as the four hunters left and there was a bang on the cell bars "tell me! you already found the dragon king haven't you!" Johann was getting more madden the second that ticks past "oh Johann such a short temper, no wonder Drago saw nothing in you" Hiccup taunts him, Viggo smirks knowing Hiccup just wanted to get inside Johann head to piss him off.
Johann yells and storms off with Krogan behind as the metal door to the room is slammed shut "well long time no see Viggo" Hiccup says looking at the cell he was in "yes its has been a long time miss Hiccup" Viggo replies sitting down on the ground "but this is where you have been the past five months" Hiccup rised her eyebrow "its been five months already? feels longer" she mumbles.
"In such a dark place it would feel like that" Viggo said "where is your dragon?" "he flew off when l was caught hopefully he is safe" Hiccup says pulling her knees close to her chest "not a loyal dragon to leave you behind" Viggo says looking at the chains "cause l told him too, hopefully he went to my father" Viggo lets out a soft laugh "two golds bet he didn't" Hiccup frowned but sighed "maybe you right.. the only other person l can think of where he could gone too is.. him" she mumbles.
"you mean Dagur, the Berserker chief that betrayed you" Viggo says as Hiccup nodded "yes, l wasn't expecting that at all" Hiccup was indeed when Dagur betrayed her but she in a way it was a plan a act for something but why didn't he tell but she would have to find out when she escapes from this cell "but the question is? why are you in here with me" she asked him.
"ah good question bu to put it simply, Krogan an Johann wanted full power so the best way is too lock the leader up and offer the other hunters something in for return and they will work for anyone" Viggo says wanting to cross his arms but couldn't because of the chains "betrayed is hard but karma will come an bite their heads off or a dragon will" the heir to Drago Bludvist said as it was Viggo turn to laugh in his cell, the guards outside of the room shivered in fear.
