06- Meowth! That's Right!
Meowth's P.O.V...
I always knew somethin like dis was goin to happen. I just knew it would. I've been part of team rocket for awhile now, it's not too terrible most of the time but lately t'ings have been odd between my two human partners in crime. The kind of odd only a cat could detect. I don't mind em most of da time, when Jessie ain't wackin me with whateva she can find and James isn't whinin about whateva situation we was in.
Of course, tryin and failin to catch dat dumb twerp-troop and dere stupid electric rodent gave him a lot of t'ings to complain about but t'ings have been different lately. Jessie stopped hittin him as much and da little coward has acted even more timid around da fiery redhead. No human woulda' noticed it but then again I'm beder den a human and dont t'ink I haven't noticed da way James stares at her, don't get me started! He seems to notice her differently den when t'ings first happened and come on as far as humans go Jessie is a looker, like pretty I guess and yea I guess James ain't exactly ugly eder. Though, he should really stop with da cross-dressin, It's embarrassin.
I may be a pokemon but it's still weird. Human beings are some of da strangest creatures when it comes to love but trus me I know he likes her and if I'm correct-which I probably am–she kinda likes jimmy-boy too. Acourse neder of dem are gonna admit it. James is too scared of gettin whacked or worse rejected and Jessie is too high and mighty on pride to admit she likes a wimpy whiner like James. Depressing fer dem right? Sigh.. ol Meowth ova here can't take it much longer! I gotta do somethin about dis and gettin da two love pidgeys together is the best plan I got ya know?
Meanwhile back in Kanto: James P.O.V…
" I love you Jessie, come with me and give up on team rocket! I will give you everything you desire." Dr white echoes.
At that moment, The intensity of my broken heart was agonizing; I felt like I couldn't move because the pain was too much to bear.
Jess embraces Dr. white.
Of course, she'd pick him, why wouldn't she? She deserves the best after all.. Maybe I'm not the one who can provide her that…
Meowth's P.O.V…
Ahh I t'ink I see James runnin, he's prolly lookin for me. How thoughtful, I'll tell him my scheme I-I mean plan ferst!
Comin closer, I see a he'vy hart'd James who has tears in his eyes. I know James is a big baby who cries about everyt'ing but dis was different. James ran away, not even payin attention to where he was headin.
"James where ya goin? What just happened? Wait for meeeee!"
Great, now I gotta chase da idiot too. As I'm runnin after him in hopes of talkin some sense into him, he's gettin ferder and ferder into da forest. Just before he disappears into da knot'td arms of da towerin trees, he tosses his white shirt ova leavin it in da dust.
Approaching the shirt, Meowth gently picks it up.
Oh James, what happened? Now I'm really worried... I know what to do! I'll find Jessie, she can find james. After all, wes are a team. Solid like a rock.
Some time later…
Boy I really gotta start goin to da gym. This runnin t'ing is pretty tirin… Ahh der she is!
"Jessie!'
"Meowth what are you doing here?"
"It's an emor'gency! It's James, Somethin is wrong. I t'ink he's quittin team rocket. Look!"
I held out James' shirt.
"What?"
Jessie grabs da shirt tremblin and nearly starts cryin.
"Where did you see him last? We need to find him!"
"Ova here follow me!"
"Ughh that idiot better be okay!" Jessie shouted as she ran behind me.
"Dis is it, dis is da last place I saw him."
Leaves hummed and feathered as they shuffled through the dark forest.
"Oh Meowth, this is all my fault."
"What do ya mean Jess?"
"I think he overheard Dr. White confess his feelings for me. While the gesture was quite flattering, my heart undeniably belongs to James. I thanked the Dr. for his kind offer but he might have taken it the wrong way. We have to find him."
"James!" Jessie shouted.
No answer…
Oi good idea! "Hey o-jimmy!" "Where are ya mate!"
No answer…
"James, please are you there? It's Jessie!"
Rustling bushes...
"Jessie?" James says sudn'ly comin out of da dark forest.
"Oh t'ank goodness dere you are! Golly, we were worried sick!"
"JAMES"
Uh oh here comes an angry Jessie.. I can't watch dis, ima cov'r my eyes!
"Jess, why are you here? I thought you were with the doc-"
"YOU IDIOT!"
"Do you have any idea how worried I was? I thought I lost you for good! What do you have to say for yourself?" Jessie crossed her arms.
"w-what?" James stuttered in confusion.
Jessie took another step closer to be in reach of him. She took a fistfull of his shirt and pulled him even closer. James' eyes widened at the action, but he did not protest nor try to fight it.
"Look , I know I don't act it and I didn't even realize it until Meowth told me you were gone, but I love you James." Jessie confessed with her tone surprisin'ly calm.
Before James could even t'ink of somethin to say, Jessie kissed him. It was one of da biggest shocks of his life! Even so, he didn't waste such a wundrful opportunity. He kissed her back with all da care and happiness he hads for her.
Yes! I has finally found my teammates again. Oh, wait. Scratch dat. After dis, those two are goin to be more den just teammates..
"I love you too, Jess. I just thought you would be happier with the doctor and-"
Jessie interrupted him with yet another kiss. It was shorter, and mostly meant to shut him up.
"I never wanted the doctor. I want to be with the man who has stood by me through every mess we've gotten into and was still there long after. I'm happy with you James. Sorry it took me too long to realize it." Jessie smiled.
James returned da smile and just held her in his arms. Da two were so t'ankful to meowth for bein such a great leder of dis team. (Okay, maybe dey didn't say dat but I know dat is what everyone is thinkin!) Finally dey realize dere true feelins, and even more so dat it wasn't too late.
"Ah, dis is truly beutiful. Looks like I saved da day, two love pidgey's finally unite."
sniffle sniffle*
"zI- I'm not cryin' yous are!"
