Chapter 2: Walk Like An Egyptian Part 2

Review Responses

Ellismskd24: What's your point?

Cody Fanatic: Why thank you!

WeirdAlfan101: Yeah, I know people love the OG cast, but I stand by my assertion that there are good characters and bad characters in each generation. We'll see what I can do about your hopes for this season.

LaCuevademisgustos: Thank you!

Guest A: I don't know. They just seemed to strip away all of Izzy's fears and weaknesses just to make her more entertaining rather than making a character I can connect to. As for the full names for the contestants, I just made them all up, except for Cody and Harold, whose full names have already been revealed.

Guest B: Yes, Cody does seem rather popular. We'll see if I live up to your hopes.

AnonBrowser: Yes, I agree. This season had some major weaknesses that prevent me from putting it up as my favorite. Yes, Shawn is Ezekiel's neighbor, and no, Chris's interns are not Amy and Sammy. They're just a pair of generic male interns. Duncan's presence will certainly cause a few changes. And yes, Trent's ability to calm Eva down will have a bit of a plotline. As for Sierra... What can I say? No one ever confirmed her ethnicity. In fact, when I first watched TDWT, I thought she was black. Plenty of characters have their ethnicity confirmed but Sierra was not one of them. And I certainly did have fun compiling full names for the cast (as well as the Revenge, Pahkitew, and RR characters). Admittedly, I could be more creative than just using their voice actors' names, but they just really fit sometimes. Yes, Sarah Crystal Fox is Sadie. I listed them via elimination order.

The Riverian: 1. No OCs. The "two new contestants" were referring to Alejandro and Sierra. 2. Sorry, I don't understand your grammar there. 3. Each to their own. 4. We'll see... 5. Again, each to their own. 6. No thank you.

MatiasND: Thanks.

Gucci Mane LaFlare: Eva does have a reason for carrying around that frying pan. It's to knock Owen or Izzy out whenever they start screaming like lunatics. Duh! XD. Anyway yes, the elimination of the musical aspect does provide opportunities for more natural interactions. And since Duncan doesn't have to sing, he's less inclined to quit. Heather and Bath had a classic rivalry, and we'll see if Beth can convince the others that Heather's up to no good.

AJustice90: Yeah? Well okay then! Can't make any promises!

A 1 Pole: I dunno... Ezekiel was designed to be a first boot that no one would miss...

MDReborn: Yes, you're a total geezer. XD. Yes, this season had strong points and weak points. I plan to correct many of its weak points. And yes, without Come Fly With Us, I had to cut out one of Noah's classic Noahisms. I know that seems criminal, but I plan to give him some new ones.

lordgemini: Thank you for understanding my choices. The Drama Brothers as a group will receive occasional acknowledgment, so don't worry about that. What Duncan was thinking while watching Courtney sing with Trent is up to your interpretation, at least for now. Yes, Team E-Scope is probably one of the better ideas I had, in spite of my unusual opinions on its members. Good predictions by the way! We'll see how they play out!

Rockin' D-99: Yes, I agree. TDWT is a strong season overall, but it had some serious low points. DJ's animal curse arc was definitely in the top three. Even though he's not my favorite, I just hated what they did to him. And I had a feeling you wouldn't love me axing the musicals, given how much of a music enthusiast you are. If I may offer an alternative, there's a fic called Total Drama Presents: War of the Bands by LostOracleTD, that I think you'll love. But I axed it because I wanted Duncan around. As for Izzy's fear of flying... Well, she has spouted loads of BS before, so it would be in character for her to lie about her phobias... Still, I wish they offered an explanation as to why she suddenly wasn't because it felt like a writing error to me. But anyway, thanks for reviewing! I hope to impress!

Guest C: It will be acknowledged.

romeoaifesili: There will be 26 episodes just like in canon. Everything else you'll have to wait and see. As for Ezekiel, I never knew that and I'll keep that in mind.

zafnak: I'll keep your requests in mind. By the way, I myself am not calling Cody a simp, I'm just having Duncan do it as part of a minor conflict between them.

"Let's take a few moments to review some of the features of our aircraft!" Chris narrated. "Safety is our number one priority! So please! Remained seated with your seatbelts fastened at all times! As we explore exotic destinations, take time to familiarize yourselves with local architecture! The world is our playground! When dividing into teams, be sure to give your crew a catchy handle that everyone agrees on! Upon arrival at our final destination, one lucky competitor will receive a parting gift to remember: One million dollars! So, stow that carry-on baggage and lock those tray tables in the upright position! We're taking off for one crazy ride! Right here! Right now! On Total… Drama… World Tour!"

After the theme song, we cut to the three teams standing next to the finish line of the last episode's challenge. Each team had been given a large circular mat with the symbol of the sun. Their rewards from the last challenge were resting on these mats.

"Hey, look! Team colors!" Izzy called. Each mat had a separate color for each team. Team Minotaur's was blue and Team Amazon's was pink.

"Why is our mat yellow?" Harold asked, sounding offended. "We're no cowards!"

"Relax, sugar!" said Leshawna, putting her hand on Harold's back. "The mat is gold! Because we are Team Victory!"

"Psh. Team Amazon." Duncan scoffed. "Do I even exist?"

"Come on, Duncan." said Courtney. "You were outvoted seven to one! That's how democracy works!"

"Democracy is overrated." Duncan grumbled.

"Um, maybe we could have called ourselves something else…" Gwen suggested.

"It was your idea." Katie pointed out.

Meanwhile, with Team Minotaur…

"It's too bad for Gwent fans that they're not on the same team. Totally brings down the chances of them getting back together." Sierra told Izzy. "But you and Owen may have a shot at becoming Total Drama's number one couple!"

"Awesome!" Izzy exclaimed. "Let me tell you, Owen is magical! When he breathes, his nose whistles the national anthem!"

"Super cute!" said Sierra, slightly disturbed and highly skeptical. "But he's no Cody!" she swooned and turned to the rest of her team. "Did you guys know that Cody slept with a stuffed emu named Jerry until he was…? Well, okay! He still does!"

The male Minotaurs looked at her oddly.

"And you know this how?" Noah inquired.

"I called his aunt, posing as a telemarketer!" Sierra declared proudly.

"Ooh! Stalker-licious!" Noah drawled.

CRASH!

Chef crashed the cymbals together, as Chris was busy using one of his interns as a couch. The other intern was busy fanning Chris as he ate from a bowl of grapes.

"Don't know about you guys, but I am loving Egypt!" Chris chuckled. "And I'm gonna enjoy it, even more, watching you guys enjoy your second challenge: The Amazing Camel Race!"

The members of Team Victory and Team Minotaur blanched, for only Team Amazon had a camel.

"A camel race? Then where are the other camels?" Harold asked.

"There are no other camels!" Chris cried exasperated. "It' a camel race, not a camels race!"

"Yes!" Heather cheered victoriously.

"What?!" Alejandro cried incredulously.

"We won!" Leshawna shouted indignantly. "How come they get a camel, they get a goat, and we get a stick?!"

"Each reward has its advantages." said Chris, cryptically. Leshawna did not look impressed with that answer. "Anyway! You'll be racing to the world's most infamous waterway: the Nile! Teams must bring their rewards all the way to the finish line! You have sixty seconds to strategize!"

Without missing a beat, Heather climbed onto the camel and situated herself at the highest point of its hump.

"Move it, people! It's a race!" Heather commanded impatiently.

"Race hasn't started yet!" Duncan pointed out, not bothering to get on.

"Yes! And besides, it's Team Amazon! Not Dictatorship Amazon!" Courtney snapped.

"Well, how about this: I'll stop being bossy when you start doing things right!" Heather snapped. The rest of the girls began climbing onto the camel, leaving next to no room for Duncan or Cody. Gwen and Beth were in front, while Katie, Sadie, and Courtney were in back. The camel laid down, seemingly uninterested in carrying such a load.

"Hey! Get up!" Heather yelled. The camel ignored her. "Hey, fleabag! Naptime's not for another six hours! Get your hump moving!" Still, the camel failed to respond.

"You're doing it wrong!" said Duncan. "Let me show you how it's done! Hey, buddy!"

He walked up to the camel with a friendly smile. The camel took interest in this more respectful approach. Then Duncan's smile morphed into an intimidating scowl. He seized the camel by the reins and forced it to look in his eyes.

"Listen, Spitter! We've got a long way to go! You're gonna take us there! And you're not gonna give us any trouble about it, are ya?!" Duncan growled. The camel shook its head, intimidated, and then stood back up. "Good!"

The girls were impressed.

"Hey, Gwen! Fancy meeting you here!" said Cody, slyly. "Go out for a slushie, later?"

"Cody!" Gwen exclaimed, an awkward and uncomfortable smile on her face. "Listen, I… really appreciate you setting me up with Trent back in Season one!"

"Nice, right? And since he's on another team…Well, I'm available! Huh? Huh?" Cody winked. Gwen cringed nervously, but Heather came to her rescue.

"You hear that, Cody? It's the sound of girls all over the world just rushing to lock their doors!" she mocked. Duncan and the girls all laughed. Cody withdrew, embarrassed.

Confessional: Cody

"I'll win her over eventually! After all, I'm one of the Drama Brothers! I could have any girl I want! It's just a matter of time before Gwen realizes I'm hot property!"

End Confessional

Meanwhile, with Team Minotaur, Alejandro was giving his team a pep talk.

"We need no camel!" he proclaimed. "We have each other! And we are unstoppable! We have the strength, the will, the know-how, and together we will triumph!"

His team members clapped and cheered, save for Eva, who merely smirked in approval, and Sierra, who looked jealous and unimpressed.

Confessional: Sierra

"Look. I'm the number-one Total Drama Super-fan! It says so on my blog! But Alejandro? He's a complete nobody! Even more so than Tyler! He's never even been on TV before! And I've never seen him in QT Monthly! I do not know what these girls see in him! They're loco!"

End Confessional

The girls of Team Victory were also watching Alejandro's speech, swooning.

"Bridgette!" Geoff scolded, losing his patience. Bridgette jumped and turned to her boyfriend with a startled look. "What are you doing?!"

"Geoff! Calm down!" Bridgette cried.

"You were swooning over the new guy!"

"I was not! Honest! It's just the heat!" Bridgette lied. Geoff glared at her skeptically. Then he was accidentally struck in the back of the head with Team Victory's stick.

"Oof! Harold! Dude!" Geoff snapped indignantly.

"Sorry!" Harold apologized. "I was just demonstrating my skills! With this stick, I can defend us from deadly sand snakes! For they could be anywhere!"

Lindsay eeped. Bridgette yelped and hopped into Geoff's arms.

"No way!" Leshawna cried, hopping into Harold's arms. Unfortunately, Harold holding Leshawna was not easy as it was for Geoff to hold Bridgette.

"Fear not! I'll protect you!" Harold grunted, straining under Leshawna's weight. After getting a decent grip, he continued to swing the stick around, only to hit Ezekiel in the eye.

"Yow!" the homeschooler cried. DJ snatched the stick away from Harold.

"Cool it before you really hurt somebody!" he scolded. Harold bowed his head in shame.

Meanwhile, Alejandro was ordering his team into a human pyramid.

"Tyler! Noah! You two sit on the goat!" he commanded. "Owen, get on Tyler's shoulders, and Sierra on Noah's! Trent, get on Eva's shoulders, and Izzy, get on Trent's. Good! Now Eva, stand next to the goat! Sierra, link arms with Trent."

Tyler grunted as the immense Owen sat on in shoulders.

"This is so cool, Alexander!" Owen cried. "I mean, Alakazam! Er, Alcoholic!"

"Alejandro." the Spaniard corrected.

"Wow, that's a real mouthful. I'm just gonna call ya Al. Woo! Go Al!"

Alejandro looked displeased.

"Yeah, this is gonna work." said Noah sarcastically, as the entire pyramid wobbled.

"Have faith, Noah!" said Alejandro. "Believe! In us!" He then hopped twenty into the air, landing on Owen and Sierra's shoulders. He linked arms with Izzy and the entire pyramid was stabilized.

"Whoa! We're perfectly balanced!" Tyler cried.

"Okay, color me impressed." Noah admitted.

Confessional: Alejandro

"It's basic weight distribution. Anyone with an engineering degree or an IQ of 163 or higher could figure it out!"

End Confessional

"A'ight!" Chris called. "Nile's that-a-way! Kinda big, blue, and watery… You can't miss it! Or I guess you can! But then you might get eaten by the local scarab beetles. It's mating season, and they get all… killy when they're in heat!"

"I'm glad there are none of those things around!" Leshawna exclaimed. "Those things are nasty!"

"I'll them you said so!" said Chris. "Chef?"

The big man knocked over a large urn and hundreds of scarabs spilled out made their way towards the contestants. The intern that Chris was standing on was eaten alive in less than a minute, leaving but a skeleton behind. The campers began to panic. Duncan hopped onto the camel's neck and Cody onto its rear.

HONK!

"GO!" Chris cried. The teams took off, Team Victory on foot, Team Amazon on the camel, and Team Minotaur being supported by Eva and the goat.

The Amazons took a slight lead over the Minotaurs thanks to their camel. Eva could have outpaced the camel, but it was essential that she moved in conjunction with the goat.

"Come on!" Courtney urged the camel, clicking her lips. "Come on, camel!"

"That is not how you talk to a camel!" Heather scoffed. She then cleared her throat. "Frickin' move it!" The camel failed to pick up the pace.

"Much better!" Gwen sarcasmed, rolling her eyes.

"It worked for Duncan!" Heather reasoned. "It's not like he's some camel whisperer!"

"Maybe the camel thinks Duncan is scarier than you." Katie suggested. Heather wasn't sure whether or not to be offended.

"So… how's it going back there, Cody?" Gwen asked. Cody was currently hanging onto the camel right under its tail.

"Fine! Thanks for asking!" Cody called. "As long as it doesn't need a bathroom break, I'll be fine."

Duncan smirked deviously. He began whispering into the camel's ear, who then began to pick up the pace, putting some distance in between them and Team Minotaur.

"We're gonna go win the race now! See ya!" Heather taunted, blowing a raspberry.

"Eat sand, losers!" Courtney taunted. Katie and Sadie made funny faces at the Minotaurs. Gwen, Beth, and Duncan groaned in embarrassment.

"Such witty remarks from such fiercely intelligent and mature women!" Alejandro praised. "I am both humbled and intrigued!"

Heather looked stumped.

"Nice try!" said Courtney. "But I'm with Duncan!"

"You have my pity! As you can do so much better than the man who betrayed you in the semifinals of Total Drama Action."

"That's not… He didn't…" Courtney stammered. "Ugh! Duncan! Get the camel moving!"

Confessional: Heather

"Oh, he's good! Too good! Seriously, what is his deal? He is just so… perfect! Ugh!"

End Confessional

"Can you see the Nile, Duncan?" Heather asked, scanning the horizon.

"Why are you asking me?" Duncan asked. "You're at the top of the camel!"

"It's got to be around here!" Courtney claimed.

Alejandro, being at the top of a walking tower, had a better view than anyone on Team Amazon. A sliver of blue penetrated his peripheral vision. Turning to his right, he could barely make out a large body of water just over the sand dunes. He gasped excitedly.

"Hold on, everyone! I'm changing our route!" he called. He leaned slightly to the right, causing the goat to make a slight turn and carry Team Minotaur off of Team Amazon's tail.

"Hey! Where'd they go?!" Sadie asked, looking back.

"Looks like we lost them!" said Katie happily.

The camel let out a brief cry.

"Hey, Cody!" Duncan cried. "Could you check to see if the camel's a guy or a girl?"

"Uh, sure." said Cody, he lowered himself even further down. "Looks like it's a girl…"

TOOT!

The camel raised its tail and farted.

"Oh no! Please don't poop! Please don't poop!" Cody begged, but it was all in vain.

FART! BLARP! TOOT!

"YAAAAAAARGHH!" Cody screamed.

The girls all gagged in disgust. Duncan laughed hysterically.

Confessional: Duncan

"That's for selling out your masculinity, dude!"

Confessional: Alejandro

"Perhaps it would have been kind to show the girls' team where to go, but you've seen my team. We need all the help we can get."

End Confessional

"Duncan! Stop the camel!" Gwen called.

"What? Okay…" said Duncan, yanking the reins.

"What are you doing?!" Heather demanded.

"The other team is gone! We're all alone out here!"

"Does anyone know where we are?!" Heather demanded.

"Oh, I know! Kenya!" Sadie answered.

"No, we're in Morocco!" Katie argued.

"Egypt." Beth corrected.

"Not what I meant!" Heather growled, frustrated. Finally, Courtney and Gwen delivered the most accurate and specific answer yet.

"We're lost!"

Meanwhile…

Team Victory was struggling to keep up with the other teams. Having no powerful animal to ride, the best they could do was jog.

"So, Geoff!" said Justin, panting. "Do you know if there's gonna be an Aftermath show for this season?"

"You bet there is!" said Geoff.

"Even though there's more contestants than there were in the first season?"

"Correct-a-mundo!"

"How's that gonna work?"

"Oh, I expect the Chris-meister to throw in a double-elimination or two. Or maybe we'll have a three-person finale! Maybe someone will get eliminated during the Aftermaths! Or something! Who knows? Dude can be a bit… uncool sometimes, but he is full of surprises!"

"That is true… Well then, given that you guys are competing, it doesn't seem like you and Bridgette are guaranteed to host the Aftermath this time."

"Actually, there's like zero chance me and Bridge are hosting it!" Geoff responded, nonchalantly.

"Really? Why?"

"I'm not sure why. I think Chris was peeved at us for exposing him last season and that he pushed the network into giving us the boot."

"They fired you?"

"Yup." said Geoff, smiling as though it was no big deal.

"Then who is hosting the Aftermath this time?"

"Dunno. Chris said they hired a couple of 'professionals' to 'show us how it's done!'"

"Aren't you mad?"

"Naw, it's probably for the best! I got a little… carried away last time!"

"That's an understatement…" Bridgette muttered under her breath. At this point, Team Victory was so far behind they could see neither Team Amazon nor Team Minotaur. "Wait! Didn't we pass that cactus ten minutes ago?!"

The entire team skidded to a halt to check a passing cactus.

"Oh yeah! We did!" Lindsay confirmed happily. The rest of Team Victory groaned, realizing they had been going in circles.

Meanwhile, Team Minotaur arrived at the Nile.

"There's the finish line!" Tyler cried excitedly, as the team began to dismount the goat.

"Yeah, on the other side of the river!" Noah pointed out.

"Uh, I think that's the least of our problems!" said Trent, as several Nile crocodiles were seen floating on the surface of the water. Across the river sat a checkered finish line, where Chris, dressed in his usual attire, sat in a camp chair.

"Welcome to the third and final Egyptian challenge!" Chris called. But being all the way across the river, Team Minotaur could not make out what he was saying.

"What?! Speak up!" Owen called back. Chris repeated himself even louder but it did no good. "Did you guys get any of that?"

Most of Owen's teammates shook their heads.

"I think he said something about birds and elephants." said Izzy.

Frustrated, Chris snapped his fingers. A few seconds later, the surviving intern handed him an enormous megaphone.

"I SAID WELCOME TO THE THIRD AND FINAL EGYPTIAN CHALLENGE: BASKET CASES!" Chris thundered, vastly overcompensating with the volume. Owen screamed and leaped to the ground, covering his ears. "EACH TEAM MUST WEAVE A BASKET OF RIVER REEDS! YOUR BASKET HAS TO BE BIG ENOUGH TO HOLD YOUR ENTIRE TEAM! INCLUDING YOUR REWARD FROM THE LAST CHALLENGE! THEN YOU'RE GOING TO USE THAT BASKET, TOGETHER WITH THOSE OARS, TO ROW YOURSELF ACROSS THE RIVER TO THE FINISH LINE! FIRST TEAM ACROSS WITH THEIR REWARD FLIES FIRST CLASS TO OUR NEXT DESTINATION! AND! EVERY TEAM WHO BRINGS THEIR REWARD OVER WILL BE SPARED FROM ELIMINATION!"

"This is perfect!" Sierra exclaimed.

"What? The fact that we're (BLEEP)?" Noah asked.

"I'm a fourth-generation basket weaver!" Sierra clarified.

"Awesome!" Izzy exclaimed.

"We're gonna need a lot of reeds!" Sierra stated seriously.

"If we retrieve the reeds, could you weave the basket all by yourself?" Alejandro asked.

"That would be great!"

"You heard the lady! Let's get picking!" Alejandro commanded. The rest of Team Minotaur hopped towards the cattails and began plucking reeds out of them.

Confessional: Trent

"I gotta say, I'm liking both of the newbies. Alejandro's a great leader! And Sierra's… a bit weird. But her basket weaving abilities are pretty convenient!"

End Confessional

Meanwhile, Team Victory had plopped down onto the ground, stumped as to what to do next.

"Lost in Egypt. Ain't that a kick in the pants?" Leshawna moaned.

"Yeah. Bummer, dude!" Geoff griped. "Hey, Bridge, wanna make out?"

"Sure!"

Geoff and Bridgette started making out again, causing their teammates to groan.

"From first place to last! Useless branch!" Harold griped. He broke the stick in half over his knee, only to eat his words. Upon tossing the broken halves to the ground, he found that the forked piece had started vibrating.

"It's a divining rod!" Harold gasped, picking it back up.

"A what?" Justin questioned.

"I don't wanna get struck by lightning!" Lindsay cried, sounding frightened.

"A divining rod! Not a lightning-rod!" Leshawna clarified. "It helps you find water!"

"Chris said each reward had its advantages…" DJ pointed out. "That stick could lead us straight to the Nile!"

Team Victory cheered.

"This way!" Harold cried, running off. As the rest of his team followed, Geoff snatched up the other half of the stick that Harold had left behind.

Meanwhile, Team Amazon was in a pickle. Gwen, Heather, Courtney, and Beth were all bickering over what to do, including which direction to go and who should be the team leader. Katie and Sadie, meanwhile, argued over whether Justin or Alejandro was hotter. Cody hung silently off the camel's rear. Duncan tried to tune out the girls' yelling but with little success. He let out a groan of dismay.

Confessional: Duncan

"You'd think being the only man on your team would be pretty cool! Especially with hotties like Heather, Gwen, and Courtney! But no! It's been like hours and they are still yakking!"

End Confessional

Duncan hopped off the camel. At once, she stopped moving. He ran a short distance covering his ears.

"Duncan!" Courtney cried. "Where are you going?!"

"I have a headache I need to walk off!"

"You can't go! We need you to get the camel moving!" Heather demanded.

"I'll come back when you girls all start playing nice with each other!"

"You can't make demands of us!"

"Yes, I can! I'm the only one the camel listens to!"

"If you choose not to help us, you are so going home!"

"You call that a threat?! That'd be great! Anything to get away from you banshees!" Duncan scoffed. Heather growled, angry that Duncan had called her bluff.

"Alright! Alright!" Gwen cried. "Everyone settle down! Duncan, please! Let's go!"

Duncan inhaled through his nose heavily. He then exhaled greatly. He walked back to the camel.

"Alright, Cammy!" said Duncan. "We're thirsty! Show us where we can get some water!"

The camel nodded and allowed Duncan to climb back onto its neck. It then made a ninety-degree turn and started pacing again.

"That's my boyfriend!" Courtney boasted. Duncan and Gwen rolled their eyes.

"Oh please! It's just a coincidence that the camel changed directions!" Heather scoffed. "It's probably looking for a place to die!"

"What's that?!" Gwen cried, pointing.

"The finish line!" Katie, Sadie, Beth, and Courtney gasped.

"Finally…" Duncan groaned, eager to get the challenge over with.

In a few minutes, Team Amazon had arrived at the river. Sierra was masterfully constructing a boat, while the rest of Team Minotaur brought her reeds.

Chris explained the challenge via megaphone again, and the Amazons blanched.

"We have to basket-weave a boat?!" Heather cried incredulously.

"That's right!" Izzy replied. "One big enough to get your team and the camel across the river!"

Heather yelled in frustration. Duncan cringed.

"I'd murder someone for some aspirin…" he groaned.

"I feel sorry for them!" Sierra told Izzy. "Especially since our basket's almost done!"

"Plus, we have Owen on our team!" Izzy pointed out.

"But they have Cody!" Sierra swooned. She got up and ran to Cody. She grabbed him up in a hug. "Oh, Cody! I wish we were on the same team, too!"

"Uh, I have to… Uh… Go over there and… do something!" said Cody, nervously. He broke out of the hug and hid behind the camel, much to Sierra's confusion.

"Aw, you guys are so cute together!" Izzy cooed. "You should totally be on their team!"

"What's going on?" Trent asked.

"Nothing! I'm just telling Sierra she should be on Team Amazon!"

"That's a great idea!" Heather exclaimed. "Sierra, you're with us now!"

"What?!" cried Alejandro, also just arriving. Sierra picked up all the reeds her team collected and took them over to Team Amazon. She then began speed-weaving a new boat.

"Wow! She's amazing!" Courtney cried, impressed.

"Maybe, you should think about listening to me for a change!" Heather proclaimed haughtily. Gwen, Beth, and Courtney laughed.

"It's gonna take a lot more than this to earn our trust!" Gwen informed the queen bee. "A lotta lot more!"

"Yeah! Besides, I don't take orders from non-winners!" Beth spat. Katie and Sadie frowned at Beth.

"Where's Chris? He won't allow this!" Alejandro proclaimed.

"Won't allow what?" Chris asked, riding to the other side of the river on a speedboat. Sierra immediately ran to him and hugged his legs.

"Today's officially the best day of my life!" she gushed. "So I really hope you'll allow me to transfer to Team Amazon! But of course, you'll make the right decision! Because you're the best decider ever!"

Chris smiled, flattered.

"And that's why I'll allow it!" Chris proclaimed. "If someone from Team Amazon is willing to swap places with you!"

Sierra turned to Team Amazon with a hopeful smile on her face.

"How about Gwen?" Courtney suggested, snottily. "You could be on Trent's team!"

"Yeah, be on a team with my ex-boyfriend! That won't be awkward at all!" Gwen snapped sarcastically. "How about you switch with Sierra and give Duncan some breathing room?!"

"I'll do it!" cried Duncan, sensing the start of yet another drawn-out fight. Gwen and Courtney gasped.

"Seems like a fair trade to me!" said Chris. "Alright! Duncan and Sierra, switch teams!"

"Smiley-face!" Sierra cried. She and Duncan crossed over to each other's teams. Duncan stared Trent and Izzy down, while Sierra resumed a rapid construction of the new boat.

"As you wish." Alejandro conceded, bowing his head.

"Mm!" Heather stuck her tongue out at the Spaniard. Alejandro responded by blowing a kiss. Heather gasped and then turned away, huffing.

Eva, Owen, Noah, and Tyler showed up.

"Um, what's he doing here?" Noah questioned.

"Chris switched Sierra and Duncan." Alejandro informed them. "Now we have to finish the boat ourselves."

"What?!" Eva barked.

"Sierra really wanted to be with Cody." Duncan explained.

"Traitor!" Eva growled.

"Not cool!" Owen cried.

"No fair!" Tyler whined in conjunction with Owen and Eva.

"Don't give up! We still have a chance!" Alejandro cried.

"Al's right!" said Owen. "Thanks, Al!"

"It's Alejandro, Owen." the Spaniard corrected sternly.

Confessional: Alejandro

"I have a bit of a problem being called 'Al.' It was a name my older brother, José, used to tease me with when we were kids. I've grown to hate the nickname, and I don't appreciate anyone calling me it. Not even the golden child of Total Drama!"

End Confessional

Team Minotaur, being short Sierra, hastened but struggled to complete their basket. Sierra, meanwhile, was doing all the work for her new team, making more progress than all of Team Minotaur combined.

"Come on! We're not too late!" DJ cried.

Finally, Team Victory arrived, and Chris explained the challenge to them again.

"You heard the man! Get picking!" Leshawna commanded.

"Ta-da!" Sierra cried, having just finished a boat twelve feet long and with a hut to house the camel.

"TEAM AMAZON RULES!" shouted the mostly-girl team. They filed proudly into their magnificent vessel.

"Cody, get the camel!" Courtney commanded. The sole male member of Team Amazon marched up to the camel and tried to yank her into the boat, but it was like trying to move a boulder.

"Come on, camel! Let's go!" said Cody, yanking the rope.

"Cody! Get the camel in the boat!" Courtney demanded impatiently.

"I'm trying!" said Cody. He let go and put his finger to his chin, trying to remember how Duncan got the camel to listen to him. He grabbed the camel by the reins and forced it to look in his eyes. "Listen, sweetheart! We've got a race to win! You're gonna help us win it, and you're not gonna give us any trouble, got it?!"

For some reason, the camel didn't seem to find Cody as intimidating as Duncan.

PTOO!

The camel spat in Cody's face, knocking him to the ground.

"Cody!" Sierra cried. Courtney face-palmed.

"Duncan! Get the camel in the boat!" Courtney demanded.

"I'd love to help, Princess!" Duncan remarked. "But I'm on Team Minotaur now, so no can do!"

"How could you do this to us?!" Courtney yelled. Duncan ignored her and continued to work on Team Minotaur's boat.

Confessional: Duncan

"How could I do this to Team Amazon? First, because the name Team Minotaur is way cooler and it respects my identity. Second, they might as well call themselves Team Catfight! I tried to warn them that I wasn't going to tolerate any more bitching, but it seems they just can't help themselves! And third, being on a team of all girls, I was starting to feel outnumbered. I saw an opportunity to escape and I took it!"

End Confessional

"Too bad I'm not on your team!" Izzy commented. "I can speak camel!"

"Ha! Who's happy to have a camel, now?!" DJ taunted Team Amazon as the girls struggled to load the camel into their boat.

"And who's happy Leshawna knows how to weave?" Leshawna boasted, as Team Victory swiftly put together a boat.

"Geoff is!" said Geoff. "Sweet weaves, sister!"

"We're falling behind!" Gwen cried.

"Ugh! Let's go!" Courtney grunted in frustration. The Amazons climbed out of their basket and attempted to assist Cody in dragging the camel to their boat.

"Duncan, may I see your lighter?" Alejandro asked. The delinquent eyed Alejandro suspiciously before silently complying with his request. The Spaniard then went over to Eva and slipped the lighter into her hand. The big girl shot Alejandro a questioning look.

"Team Amazon's basket is unattended." He told her.

"Yeah, so?" Eva asked.

"Don't you think now would be a good time to show Sierra what happens when you ditch us?"

"Hm…" said Eva, thoughtfully. She then crept towards Team Amazon's basket.

"And bring the oars!" Alejandro called.

With the entirety of Team Amazon struggling to move the camel, Eva went behind their boat and lit it on fire. The flame was small and its growth was slow but sure. Finally, Team Minotaur completed their boat. It was quite clear which parts had been made by Sierra and which parts hadn't.

"I'm back!" Eva announced, returning with seven paddles. She quickly distributed them to her team.

"To the water!" Alejandro declared. Trent and Duncan launched the boat.

"It floats!" Owen cried. "Awesome!"

Alejandro whistled, and the goat hopped into his arms. He then hopped into the boat with the rest of the team. Duncan and Trent were in front, Eva and Tyler were behind them, Owen was in the center, Noah and Izzy were behind him, and Alejandro stood in the back, holding the goat.

Meanwhile, the Amazons were having no luck yanking their camel into their boat.

"This is so unfair!" Heather griped. "If it wasn't for that stupid swap, we'd be halfway across the Nile by now!"

"Well, whose idea was that?!" Courtney yelled.

"Yeah, Miss Smarty-Pants!" Beth sneered.

Just as the Minotaurs were about to take off, Izzy started making obnoxious grunting noises.

"What are you doing?" Eva asked, annoyed.

"I'm just telling the camel to get in Team Amazon's boat! I feel sorry for them!"

Most of the Minotaurs merely rolled their eyes. That is, until the camel actually trotted into the Amazon's boat. The Amazons were stunned.

"What'd ya do that for?!" Duncan demanded.

"Hey, I felt sorry for them!" Izzy explained. "I wanna win fair and square, don't you guys?"

"PADDLE!" Eva screamed. And the Minotaurs took off.

Team Amazon rushed into their boat.

"PADDLE!" Heather yelled. They took off, oblivious to the smoke issuing from behind the hut.

Meanwhile, Team Victory had finished their boat and were ready to take off.

"Come on, Harold!" Leshawna called, as he was the only one not in the boat. He was had been distracted playing with one of the oars. He ran to the boat and pole-vaulted into the front, accidentally punching two holes in the front with his legs.

"Whoops!" he chirped. Luckily, the holes were high enough not to let much water in.

"PADDLE!" Leshawna shouted. Team Victory took off.

All teams were in the water. Team Minotaur had the lead, while Victory and Amazon were mostly tied. Suddenly, the crocodiles began swarming. At first, the teams could only see seven, but soon there were almost twenty. They surrounded each boat and attempted to board them. Those with paddles were able to bonk them on the nose and send them back into the drink, temporarily. Harold had to pull his legs in, letting on a bit of water.

"Do you guys smell smoke?" Gwen asked.

"Who cares?!" Heather barked, whacking another croc. "I'm more interested in not turning into a buffet!"

"No, she's right!" Courtney cried. "Something's burning!"

The Amazons looked behind them and gasped. By this point, the fire had grown to quite a noticeable size. The back of the basket and hut were burning and the flames were spreading faster than before.

"Water! Get water!" Heather cried, but it was too late. The back of the boat collapsed causing the rest of it to split apart. The eight members of Team Amazon, plus the camel, were dumped into the river. Sensing easier prey, the crocodiles harassing the other teams turned their attention towards the Amazons. Though not before one of them confiscated Team Victory's stick from Ezekiel.

The Amazons were completely helpless. Just when they thought we done for, the crocodiles passed them and attacked the camel. The girls and Cody wasted no time in swimming for their lives.

Free from distractions, Team Minotaur was the first to reach the shore and cross the finish line, followed shortly by Team Victory.

"Congratulations!" Chris announced. "Team Minotaur, you're today's winners! Here are your rewards: tickets to First Class!"

The members of Team Minotaur cheered, Owen and Izzy the least enthusiastic though, as Chris handed out red boarding passes to them.

"Team Victory, may I have the stick back?" Chris asked. The entire team looked to Ezekiel who had a guilty expression on his face.

"I lost the stick." Ezekiel confessed. Leshawna, Lindsay, and Bridgette cast disappointed stares at him, DJ, Justin, and Harold leered at him.

"I got half of the stick!" Geoff cried, holding up the half that Harold left behind. "Does that count?"

Chris took the broken stick from Geoff and shrugged.

"Good enough!" he declared. He held up a stack of eight gray boarding passes. Team Victory cheered, except for Ezekiel, who just sighed in relief.

"Thanks, homie! I owe ya one!" he told Geoff.

"No prob, dude!" said Geoff. "Would totally be a bummer if you were the first boot again! I can relate!"

Speaking of first boots, Team Amazon eventually made it to shore, but they were completely without a camel.

"Congrats! You're alive!" Chris greeted.

"Almost all of us…" said Beth.

"But where's Ruby? Your camel?" Chris inquired.

"She's… she's uh…" Courtney stammered. "She's feeding the crocs!"

"That's nice of her!" Lindsay commented.

A look of horror crossed everyone else's faces. Except Alejandro's.

"Whoops." Izzy eeped quietly.

"Wow, sucks to be you girls!" Chris taunted.

Confessional: Ezekiel

"Yes! I am so not the first one out this time! Woo! I'm goin' all the way, homies! Peace out!"

End Confessional

The teams were led back to the McLean Jumbo Plane. On the way, Team Amazon discussed elimination. Currently, Heather was walking with Sierra, Katie, and Sadie, while Beth trailed behind with Gwen, Courtney, and Cody.

"Girls. We should vote off Beth." said Heather. "She was dead weight today, and was picking fights with us all day."

"But she won the last season!" Katie pointed out.

"Yes, exactly! Beth won because she's an underdog! Who's to say she can't do it again?"

Katie and Sadie looked at each other in consideration.

"We'll think about it…" said Sadie, and the BFFFLs lagged behind so that they could discuss elimination privately.

Meanwhile…

"You guys are going to vote for Heather, right?" Beth asked her group.

"That is the plan!" said Gwen.

"I don't know…" said Courtney, leering at Beth. "I made a list of people who seriously annoyed me last season and Heather was only at number five!"

"I think we should vote off Sierra." Cody suggested. "She's kinda creeping me out!"

Gwen rolled her eyes.

"But she made an amazing boat today!" said Beth.

"And it collapsed!" Cody reasoned.

"I'm pretty sure we were sabotaged." Gwen pointed out.

"Maybe you're right! Maybe Duncan sabotaged us!" Cody exclaimed, seemingly excited about the possibility. Gwen and Courtney exchanged nervous looks.

Meanwhile…

"So are we gonna do it, Katie?" Sadie asked her best friend.

"I dunno. She was pretty bossy, today. And she made the decision to swap Duncan for Sierra."

"Yeah, we should have traded them back after the boat was finished!"

"Totally! But does Beth really deserve to go?"

"Beth has been kind of a brat today. She was picking fights with Heather even though she's done nothing horrible lately. Besides, Beth's kinda selfish! You remember when she ate all the cookies she was supposed to share with the other girls?"

"Oh yeah! That was rather greedy of her, wasn't it?"

Elimination Ceremony: Team Amazon

The teams arrived back at the plane at dusk. Chef was standing at the entrance to the plane dressed as a stewardess. He collected the boarding passes of Team Minotaur and Team Victory as they filed onto the plane.

Outside the plane, a little campfire pit had been set up. There were eight seats sheltered beneath a thatched hut. There was a voting booth off to the side that looked like an outhouse.

The members of Team Amazon all sat down and waited for Chris. They didn't have to wait long, as Chris came out of the plane holding several small books.

"Team Amazon, you came in last and lost your reward on the way! So! It's vote time!" Chris announced. The Amazons looked around bitterly at each other. "Here's how it's gonna work! I have your passports right here! Inside, you will find pictures of you and your teammates! You will take your passport into the voting booth, where you will find a sheet of stickers of the Egyptian flag! Take one of those stickers and stick it on the picture of the person you'd like to kick off! Then come out and hand it to me! Got it?"

The Amazons nodded.

"Alright! Beth, you go first!" said Chris, holding up a tiny bluish-black book with a maple leaf and Beth's name imprinted in gold on the cover. The wannabe took it into the voting booth and came out a minute later, handing it to Chris. Cody did the same thing next. Then it was Courtney's turn, then Gwen's, then Heather's, then Katie's, and then Sadie's. Sierra was the last one to cast her vote. She handed her passport back to Chris and sat down. Chris looked at Sierra's passport, an amused smile on his face.

"Alright! The votes have been cast! Those staying in the game will receive a boarding pass and be allowed to get back on the plane! The contestant who doesn't will be left behind!" The Amazons stirred nervously. Chris held a set of seven tickets up. "The following players are safe!"

"Gwen!"

"Courtney!"

"Cody!"

"Katie!"

"Sadie!"

The first five Amazons sighed in relief and received a plane ticket from Chris.

"The rest of you received votes!" Chris informed them. Sierra looked patient and attentive. Heather's calm demeanor had been slowly cracking into nervousness. Beth leered at Heather from behind. "Yes, one of you received one vote, another had three, and the last one got four. The person with just one vote is…"

"Sierra!"

"Smiley-face!" Sierra cried, running up and grabbing her ticket from Chris. "Oh, if only it was a marshmallow!"

"Heather, Beth, this is the last ticket of the night."

It was like the elimination ceremony in the cooking challenge of Total Drama Island. Beth and Heather were in the bottom. One of them was so nervous she was shaking, crossing her fingers. The other cast a dark predatory scowl at her from behind.

"Heather!" Chris announced. The two girls both dropped their jaws. Heather recovered first and ran to get her ticket.

"Oh, how the mighty have fallen!" Heather crooned, mockingly waving her ticket at Beth. "First place last season, last place this season! Ha! How ironic!"

"Why me?" Beth wailed. "After all she did back in Season One, you chose to keep her over me?!"

"Yeah, well, she seems to be far more forgiving than you!" said Katie.

"Yeah!" Sadie agreed. "Remember when Sierra almost got her killed today? Heather forgave her! While you seem to be holding onto a two-season-long grudge!" she scolded.

"Last call for Team Amazon!" Chris called from the entrance to the plane. The Amazons quickly filed onto the plane. Chef came out and chucked Beth's luggage out the door before closing it. A minute later, the plane took off, spraying Beth in a storm of sand before taking off and leaving her alone.

Confessional: Heather

"Okay, I admit I was a little nervous about the vote tonight! But now, I'm feeling unstoppable! I have Sierra, the teacher's pet on my side, and I have Katie and Sadie! Who are both gullible, expendable, and provide two ever-so-crucial votes! I am so running Team Amazon!"

Confessional: Alejandro

"Losing Sierra to Heather? Eh, tragic. But I still have the upper hand! The president of Cody's fan club knows nothing about me! Nor does anyone! And I intend to keep it that way! Because compared to me… Heather's a saint!"

End Confessional

"Oh finally! A real competitor!" Chris narrated from the cockpit, closing out the episode. "Where will our flight take us next? Will Owen and Izzy get over their fear of flying? Find out, next time! On an all-new episode! Of Total… Drama… World Tour!"

Author's note: And there we go! Like many of you pointed out in your reviews, TDWT was a strong season that had some serious flaws. You probably know what those flaws are, so I won't repeat them. Rest assured I intend to iron over most of these flaws. First things first, Ezekiel is not the first boot! Surprised? Yeah, he'll go a little further for sure but don't expect a miracle. Today's loser is from Team Amazon! Alejandro's already making a few villainous moves, so who knows how things will go from here? Also, there's a new elimination method, as I wanted to tone down the more cartoony aspects of this season. It was really inconsistent how the contestants wouldn't get sucked out of the plane during elimination ceremonies, but every other time a hole or a door was opened during flights, everyone would get sucked out. I also altered the voting method a little because, unless I misunderstood it, it seemed too easy to abuse. As for Ruby the camel... well, expect a dark twist here and there.

That's it for now. My goal with uploads will be one every two weeks, but no guarantees. Thank for reading! Please review!
