It was a week after the whole Rumblehorn incident and I was helping Hiccup build a giant spyglass so no one could sneak on us. "Pass me the hammer would you, Matt?" Hiccup asked, holding his hand out. "One hammer coming up." I said cheerfully, passing the hammer I was holding to him.

Hiccup hits the nail multiple times to make sure it's stuck in before turning to Toothless. "All right. I think one more plasma blast should do the trick, bud." "You got it." Toothless growled before firing, welding the metal to the device. Hiccup coughed a couple of times before smiling and rubbing his head as I whistled, impressed by our work. "Nice." Astrid awed as she looked through the spyglass, seeing things from far away. "I can see straight to the horizon. That should definitely make it harder for anyone to sneak up on us."

"That is if we have a proper watch. Someone has to use this daily and between shifts. I'm sure Tyse would happily do it, but it'll bore her out of her mind." I commented. Tyse would whine and complain for days that she doesn't have a role around the base. I told her that she's a sentry but she complained that Smidvarg and the other terrors can do it.

"It'll definitely get her to do something. How many times did she break into our homes for something to do?" Astrid asked. "Ten times for me." Hiccup answered, drying off his sweat from the work we did. "I wonder how the Twins' lookout tower is coming along." Hiccup wondered as I shrugged. Knowing Tuffnut and his sister they probably did what they were told but then it won't be a good job. Or maybe it will. They can be surprising at times.

The watchtower was finally built after so long and we observed our masterpiece but something was… off. "Hey. Does something seem off to you?" I asked, feeling something different in my chest. "Yeah. This should have fallen down a long time ago." My sister agreed. "Maybe we actually did something… No, that's impossible." I said, realizing what we just did.

"Say it." My sister demanded. "Something… right?" I revealed, causing her to gasp in shock. "Ugh. I have a weird feeling inside. Is that accomplishment?" Looking at my hands and feeling my body. This feels awesome! "Whoa! I think I feel it, too. Quick! Let's go rub it in Hiccup's face before the feeling subsides!" Ruffnut yells in excitement.

"I bet Matt will be proud of us! I can imagine his smiling proud face as he looks at our work!" I boasted, imagining the dream. "I know he will of me." Ruffnut makes a face as I gagged in disgust. "Keep that on your side of the dragon!" I yelled as we mounted and took off to Hiccup and Matt. Unknown that a piece of our watchtower fell out.

I was walking towards the clubhouse because I was so bored! There was nothing to do besides going into the boar pit and that got old very quickly! 'I told you to take up a hobby but did you listen? No, you did not.' 'Don't antagonize me, Reghi.' I chuffed before noticing someone inside.

I peaked my head out and see Fishlegs writing notes about the Dragon Eye, observing the markings made from it. 'At least he's doing something.' Reghi chuckled as I growled before walking up to Fishlegs with a smile. "What's up, Fishlegs?" I asked. "Oh, hello Tyse. I'm just about to do my experiment." Fishlegs said, walking towards a basket full of small rocks. I tilted my head in curiosity as Fishlegs placed the basket in front of Meatlug.

"Okay, girl, let's move on to rock experiment test subject number three… river stones." Fishlegs writes it down as Meatlug starts eating. "Hey. What you doing, Fishlegs?" I heard and turned to the entrance before groaning in disappointment. Snotlout of course. "Oh, hey, Snotlout." Fishlegs greeted. "Well, if you're asking me, I'm testing how different rocks make Meatlug produce different flame and how that changes the projections in the Dragon Eye."

Snotlout wasn't even impressed by the information. "Oh, that's right. I just remembered, you're boring and I don't care." Snotlout sneers before walking away. We glared at him for a moment before Meatlug spews lava on the ground. A bit of it touched my foot, sizzling it but I payed it no mind. Shifters can have lava baths if they wanted to.

"Yup! Couldn't have put it better myself, girl." Fishlegs said as a new inscription from the Dragon Eye is revealed and joins the others already on the wall. "Ooh, even more interesting." Fishlegs awed before frowning. "Some of these are Shifter language." I patted his back and smiled at him. "Don't worry, Fishlegs. I'll help you out. I may not know the ancient language of my kind but I can do the basics. Let's see here… Rock. Something about an island of rocks."

"Hit it harder and it might fall down." I joked as Hiccup continued to hammer the leg supporting the scope. Hiccup glared at me playfully before the Twins dropped down in front of us. "Hiccup! Drop everything you're doing and bring your face." Tuffut ordered urgently as we stopped what we were doing and looked at them. "Prepare to be rubbed." Ruffnut added before taking off to the air. Astrid glanced at me and I shrugged my shoulders in confusion. "Don't look at me. I'm not with them 24/7." I said as I turned into my dragon form and took to the air following them.

We followed the Twins to where the Watch Tower is and we see the Twins presenting it with their dragon blocking our view. "Dragon Riders, you asked for it! We built it. Presenting you…" Tuffnut presents as Ruffnut makes trumpet noises. "With your new rock lookout tower!" Tuffnut revealed as they looked at Barf and Belch who flew upwards revealing… nothing.

We looked where the tower was supposed to be and I said. "I don't know if I should be surprised or… not?" I said, trying to ease the tension. "You guys never disappoint, do you?" Snotlout commented.

Tuffnut looks at us and tries to convince us that they built it. I believed him because I was watching them build it. Wonder where it went? 'My guess is that they didn't support it enough to stay in place. It's structure may be sound but there could have been cracks or the heaviness of the structure slowly tore it apart.' I nodded that was probably the cause.

Tuffnut then turned to his sister accusing her that she did something with the tower. "What did you do with it, Ruffnut?" He accused her. "What? I didn't do anything with it!" She defended. "You lying she-beast! You were always jealous of my rock tower." Uh oh. "Your rock tower!?"

Ruffnut lunges and tackles her twin and begins beating him up. "It was my rock tower!" Ruffnut yells slamming his face to the ground multiple times. We watched it for a few minutes and looked away disturbed except for Snotlout who enjoyed the sibling fight. The Twins separated and pulled out deadly weapons. Tuffnut had an axe while Ruffnut held a mace. The both of them charged and swung at each other.

I quickly appear between them, blocking Tuffnut's axe with my sword, Yolsilnah while holding Ruffnut's mace with my hand. "Okay, you two that's enough. Step away from each other before I smack the both of you. And it won't be the kind you liked." I growled causing them to hesitate before finally laying their weapons aside. "Okay, look, maybe this job was just too tough for you to do alone. I can always put Astrid on the project with you." Hiccup said, but Astrid didn't want to do it.

"Hiccup, let's not be hasty." Astrid said. "But we did build it. Honest." Ruffnut said, believing that they built it. "Trust me, H and M, No one was more surprised about that than we were." Tuffnut added as turned to Hiccup. "Remember when I occasionally stopped working on our project and went somewhere else." I asked, causing him to nod. "I was keeping an eye on these two and they actually built it, quite nicely in fact."

"Where is it then?" Snotlout asked, waving his arms towards the nonexistent watch tower. "My and Wolf's guess is that it wasn't enforced enough." I turned to the Twins. "Did the two of you reinforce your tower before coming to us after it was finished?" I asked, wondering what their answer would be.

The Twins made thoughtful expressions while thinking hard. "Did we? I don't exactly remember." Ruffnut muses. "Now that I think about it. We may have forgotten about that. Reinforcement and stuff." Tuffnut chuckles, rubbing his neck. "There you two go. Now you know what you need to do." I said, smiling.

"Hiccup! Matt! Come quickly!" We heard Fishlegs yelling and by the sound of it, he seemed distressed. "That does not sound good." Astrid commented as me and Hiccup flew towards the Clubhouse where Fishlegs is.

A few minutes later we ran in to see what's going on. Only for me to step in hot lava. "YEOW! HOT! HOT! VERY HOT!" I yelled, stepping into more of the colorful lava causing me to scream in pain. It won't kill me but it sure is hot and painful! "We really need to increase your resistance to lava." Tyse voiced, laying on some purple lava in bliss.

I finally jumped away from the lava and put my feet into a water trough. "Sweet relief. Now I know how Snotlout feels." I joked, causing her to laugh. "Fishlegs, what's wrong?" Hiccup asked worried but seeing Fishlegs expression he seems excited. "Wrong?" He chuckles. "Nothing's wrong. Except that Tyse and I have just made the greatest discovery in the history of Berkian civilization!" Fishlegs points up and we see images of multiple Gronickles and other images.

"Oh, Fishlegs, is that…" Hiccup was in awed as I look closely, awed as well. "A Gronckle, boulder surrounded by water and the dual mountain peak!" I smiled knowing what this is. "Ooh! Dark Deep!" Fishlegs squealed and I jumped in joy, forgetting about my pain. "The ancestral home of the Gronckles." Hiccup answered. "It's real, Hiccup and Matt. And we finally found it." Fishlegs was overjoyed and I was too. Only for a certain Viking to interrupt that moment.

"Yeah. What's so great about this?" Snotlout asked. "Do we really have to explain?" Tyse scowled, brushing remnants of the colorful lava off of her. "Your boring discovery? Yes." "Dark Deep is an island that, up until now, we were never sure existed. It's not in the Book of Dragons anywhere. However, in Bork's papers, there is a mention of it, but only briefly and in context to a completely different species. If we were able to find Dark Deep, it could unlock so many secrets, not only of Gronckles, but the entire Boulder Class of Dragons. Do you understand how amazing this is?"

Fishlegs finished his explanation and we turned to Snotlout, only to see him sticking his finger in his ear in boredom. He looks at us nervously before getting it out. "Check that! I absolutely don't care." Snotlout then proceeds to walk out only to fall into a hole. "Ahh!" A splash was heard and the culprit giggled playing casually with her curved daggers.

"Hiccup, Matt? I've taken the liberty of charting a course based on these encryptions. This island is so remote, it is farther than we've ever flown before. I've never seen Meatlug so excited." Meatlug sure does look excited. "Just think, I'm gonna be the first Berkian to ever set foot on Dark Deep. What an honor." Fishlegs flushed in excitement as I smiled. "Okay. I get it, Fishlegs. But Toothless and I should go with you, just in case you need help." Hiccup says smiling. "No way you're leaving me behind. I'm coming too!" I voiced in, wanting to see Dark Deep.

"Okay, the both of you can come, too. But I'm the first one to step foot, remember? You can be the second." Fishlegs glared at us, making me laugh. "We promise." I turned to Tyse. "What about you, Tyse? Want to join us?" I asked. She looked thoughtful before shaking her head no. "I want to but I'm more of a forest girl. I don't deal with rocks, not after the claim stone incident." The both of us laugh at the end of that sentence. "Alright then. I'll tell you stories about it." I promised as she smiled.

"Well, then welcome aboard, Hiccup and Matt." Fishlegs cheered before looking down at his dragon. "Come on, Meatlug, we need to go pack!" The two of them flew towards us, making us duck to avoid them, looking at each other with smirks of amusement. This is going to be fun.

It was now morning and I was helping Hiccup prepare Toothless' saddle for the trip to Dark Deep. We heard groaning and looked up to see the Twins tiredly walking. "Uh, Ruff, Tuff?" Hiccup questioned. "What happened to the two of you?" I added. "Keep it down, will you?" Ruffnut says tiredly. "We were up all night rebuilding the lookout tower from scratch." "And making sure it was reinforced." Tuffnut added yawning.

"Hey, great! Well, we should have a look at it then, shouldn't we?" Hiccup said, surprised that the Twins stood up all night to work on. "Get ready to feast your eyes." Tuffnut added as they took us to the lookout tower.

We landed and see the lookout tower built. "Very nice." I commented. "Yeah, you two. You outdone yourselves." Hiccup added as we look at the tower. "I'm a bit surprised it's still here. Right call on reinforcing it, Matt. It would have been a pain rebuilding it again, and not the pain I would enjoy." Tuffnut scowls, imagining the pain. "Yeah! Thanks, Mattypoo." Ruffnut flirted, causing me to look at Hiccup desperately. "Fishlegs is probably waiting for us so let's go!" I hurriedly said before quickly transforming and taking into the air.

"Dark Deep! At last I've found. Dark Deep, The Gronckles surround you!" Me and Hiccup laugh as Fishlegs finished his singing. "Fishlegs, I haven't seen you this excited since Snoggletog morning when we were seven." Hiccup says as I chuckled. "Whoo-hoo! I know. I couldn't even finish third breakfast. I hope I don't get too hungry." Fishlegs says as I looked at him shock. "Let's hope you don't get too sick. Eating that much food can harm you, you know." I said only to be ignored by an excited Fishlegs who quickly speeds up. "Dark Deep, here we come." We quickly follow him as he leads us to Dark Deep.

After a few hours of flying, we finally made it to Dark Deep, an island full of rocks and mountains and gronckles of course. Fishlegs and Meatlug lands first and he instantly dismounts and cheers. "Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah, Fishlegs!" He giggles before breathing in deeply. "I can't believe I'm actually here." "Don't forget me." Meatlug growls, touching him with her snout. "Sorry, girl. We're here." Fishlegs apologizes before singing and dancing.

"Dark Deep is your home." Fishlegs tosses a rock into Meatlug's maw. "Where all the rock eaters roam." Toothless looks at us. "What is he doing with that noise!?" Hiccup shrugs as I chuckled in amusement. "Where Gronckles have fun. Eating rocks by the ton. And the rocks are all rocky." He loses his tempo. "With families of… rocks. And they're feeding their…" Fishlegs coughs out and clears his throat. "I'll work on that last part, Hiccup and Matt."

"Hey, no look, I love the song. It's just one thing. Where are the roaming Gronckles?" I looked around and realized that Hiccup was right. Where are the Gronckles? 'It's strange not to find gronckles on their ancestral grounds.' Wolf commented as I looked for any sign of Gronckles. Something doesn't feel right about this. "You think, we could've landed on the wrong-" "No. That's Gravel Lake and the dual peaks of Mount Grunt. Hiccup, this is Dark Deep." Fishlegs interrupted Hiccup.

"He's right. Wolf says this is Dark Deep. But something about this is off." I growled, feeling like something was watching us. "Yeah. I don't like this." Toothless grunts looking around. "Yeah, I'm with the two of you." Hiccup agrees. "Hey I found some of my kin!" Meatlug growled and we investigated and see that she was right. "Oh, look. Meatlug found some new friends. Told you there were Gronckles here." Fishlegs told Hiccup as we watched Meatlug interact with them.

"Hello there, friends." Meatlug greeted only to respond aggressively towards her. Something ain't right. We headed down into the chasm and looked at the snarling Gronckles. "That's strange behavior for a Gronckle. They're usually pretty friendly." Hiccup says. I looked at Gronckles and I could feel their fear. What are they fearful for? "Something is scaring them." I answered.

Suddenly the earth shakes loudly and we held on for a second before it stops. "That could be what's doing it. No one likes an earthquake." Fishlegs guessed. I suddenly felt something coming and Toothless felt it too. I placed my hand on the ground and felt vibrations coming towards us. "See?" Fishlegs misunderstood our actions as fearful before my brother snarls and I look up. "Something is coming towards us!" I said as we look forward.

We look closely and see a boulder coming towards us! "Runaway boulder!" Fishlegs yells as Toothless tries to stop the boulder only for it to keep coming. Meatlug and Fishlegs corralled the other Gronckles away from the boulder as I helped Toothless try to stop the boulder from continuing. It didn't stop and we were forced to retreat.

There wasn't enough room to fly and the boulder was getting closer to us. I rammed my brother, Fishlegs and Meatlug, and the other Gronckles to the wall where the boulder passes us by. "Oh oh oh. That was close." Fishlegs says in relief before I growled, seeing the boulder stopped. The boulder then started rolling upwards quickly towards us. "Hey, Fishlegs? When was the last time you saw a boulder roll uphill?" Hiccup asked. "Um, never?" He replies nervously. "Yeah. me, neither."

"How is that possible?" Fishlegs asked, panicking. "No time to find out!" I roared as we ran for it. The boulder was getting closer to us and picking up speed. 'That is no boulder!' 'Agreed, but less thinking and more doing!' "We can't avoid it!" Fishlegs yelled as Toothless fires from behind, only for it to not do anything. I look up ahead for anything to escape before seeing a small hole. "Quick, down here." Hiccup yells as we went through the hole. Avoiding the boulder in the process.

It was a hard landing but we made it. The problem is that it was a dead end and we weren't able to escape from here. "It doesn't look like we can fly out, bud." Toothless crooned in worry as I turned back to the hole. "I think it's gone for now. Let's move out. Quietly." I growled as we slowly, and silently, moved out. We were about to continue before we heard a rumbling from Fishlegs stomach.

We looked at him and he defended himself. "What? That's what happens when you don't eat third breakfast." Fishlegs smiles nervously as I facepalm. The rumbling was heard again and we see the boulder coming. "Uh, Hiccup? Matt?" Fishlegs questions as I growled. "We see it, Fishlegs."

The boulder stops and unrolls to reveal that it actually wasn't a boulder at all! It was one of the biggest dragon we have encountered in our journey. The dragon has a somewhat stubby body, stocky build and short stature, with small wings. It also has dark gray, bumpy skin, like a Gronckle. And it is covered with spikes all over itself. It's head, body, and tail are covered in short spikes. It's jaw can split in two, with a tongue on each jaw.

The dragon glared at us before roaring at us in fury, causing Hiccup and Fishlegs to cover their ears. Once it stops it crawls towards us quickly and makes them scream. I, on the other hand, roared back loudly. The large dragon swings its tail at me but I duck and it misses and hits the wall instead. The rocks above starts falling down and Toothless protects both Hiccup and Fishlegs with his wings to avoid getting hurt.

"Impressive. Definitely a Boulder Class." Fishlegs says in excitement as I dodged another swing. "Hiccup, what you think of 'Catastrophic Quaken' as the name?" Fishlegs asked Hiccup as I dodged another. "How about you name it later and focus not getting killed by it." I roared before slamming my fist into it's face, causing it to roar in pain. "What's wrong!? Can't handle the pain!?" I grinned, firing a plasma blast from my hand. I unsheathed Yolsilnah, jumped into the air and swung down.

Only for a giant scaled arm to burst from the ceiling and grab my body, crushing it. "Aah!" I grunted in pain before the arm brought me back to the surface before throwing me into a large boulder, cracking and breaking it. I felt my spine break and felt I had internal bleeding. I groaned in pain and used my arms to lift myself up and looked up with a scowl before paling in fear.

Right in front of me was the biggest Shifter I have met. The Shifter is the same species I was just fighting. He was ten feet tall with huge muscles that could crush a Rumblehorn's skull and was covered with spikes. It's armor was like the Catastrophic Quaken, stocky and strong. Small spikes covering every inch of his body. His helmet was shaped like the dragon it represents, it's lower jaw splits revealing teeth and two tongues as he snarls. This is what the Vikings of Berk would look like if they became Shifters. It was intimidating and that was just his body. His weapon is a giant warhammer as big as the Shifter. The handle looked like it was made of rocks while the hammer itself was covered in small spikes while the other side was covered in huge spikes. Any side of that hammer is deadly whether they were small or big.

The giant Shifter glared at me before speaking. "Crusher." He booms, his voice low, deep, growling. 'You're dead.' Wolf growls fearfully just like me. 'That's the biggest Shifter I ever seen.' I said shocked and fearful. The giant, Crusher, looks at his warhammer before slightly glancing at me. "Crusher crush you now."

Crusher lifts up his weapon and swings down but I roll away, dodging the slam. "As if I would let you crush me!" I roared as my wounds finally healed and I got back up to my feet, my blade by my side. Crusher growls lowly, cracking his neck before lifting his warhammer, leaving a dent in the ground. Crusher glares at me, beats his chest with his arm, roaring before charging with his hammer.

He swings lowly, but with his size and the size of his warhammer, I had to jump over it, swinging my whole body to dodge the giant Shifter's attack. I swung Yolsilnah midair, but Crusher used the momentum of his swing, spinning to catch me with his warhammer. The weapon struck the side of my body, launching me away, and into the ground spinning painfully. I backed flipped to catch myself, digging my feet into the ground, skidding before finally stopping. That hit alone launched me twenty feet away!

'That didn't work out well.' Wolf snarled as I spit out blood. 'He's hard, fast, and despite his low vocabulary, smart. How am I supposed to beat him!?' I growled. I felt a chill suddenly and found my hand cased with ice. I widen my eyes in surprise before slowly turning into a devilish grin. 'Nightshift! You don't have full control of your powers!' Wolf warned me, but I ignored him and proceeded to attack.

"Time to take a chill pill, big guy!" I yelled, punching in his direction. Unexpectedly, spikes made out of ice rose in front of me and traveled towards Crusher. Crusher stood his ground, he raised his warhammer into the air with both hands before slamming it into the ground. The impact caused a large shockwave explosion, destroying the ice spikes while continuing heading towards me.

"Ah scales." I couldn't help but say as the blast hits me and knocks me away, right into Fishlegs and Meatlug who escaped along with Hiccup and Toothless as well as the other Gronckles from the tunnels. The impact caused Fishlegs to forcefully dismount, screaming as I reorganized my thoughts. Once organized, I transformed into my dragon form and caught him, only for another shockwave from the first dragon to knock us back upwards.

"Oh I'm going to be sick!" I panted, holding my lunch as I still keep holding onto Fishlegs. "Okay, on second thought, maybe we're not so safe after all." Hiccup says before turning to his left side before yelling to Toothless. "Toothless dive!" Toothless dived, just in time for them to dodge the large warhammer thrown by Crusher.

"Crusher crush you!" He roared as he lifts up his arms in the air. The earth rumbles as spikes of rock jet out of the ground, towards our direction. "Aahhh! Oh Thor! Oh Thor!" Fishlegs screamed as I dodged and weaved from the projectiles, trying not to get me and Fishlegs skewered and kill.

Once we were out of the danger, I tossed Fishlegs on Meatlug's back. "We need to retreat. This is getting too dangerous." I yelled, watching as Crusher lifted his arm up towards his weapon, it shook for a moment before it quickly found itself in its owner's hand. 'I got to learn that. Then I won't have to reach for my sword physically.' I thought as we escaped. Fishlegs gathered the surviving Gronickles and made them follow us back home. We were safe, but losing to that behemoth sparked a rage in me. I will come back, more prepared, more ready. The bigger they are, the harder they fall. And I will make sure he falls hard.

Crusher win. Crusher watch two legs and kin flew fast. Crusher made sure they don't come back. Crusher protect kin-brother from Vulon Nah Sunvaar. Crusher did good. Crusher happy. Though Crusher surprised. Vulon Nah Sunvaar made cold stone. Vulon Nah Sunvaar not capable. Make shadow, yes. Not cold stone. Thur? Is Vulon Nah, Thur Sunvaar? Dragon king? Crusher confused. Crusher thought Thur protect kin. Not attack. Did Crusher made mistake? Did Crusher do wrong? Crusher sad now. Crusher watch kin-brother roar. Crusher feels same. Crusher lonely. Crusher want friends. Did goddess abandon us? Will Crusher be alone? Will kin-brother be alone? Forever? Crusher hoped not. Crusher be sad if true…

Crusher miss fight. Crusher want to fight again… It fun.

We arrived back to Dragon's Edge, with no injuries. I grunted in pain as I landed. Okay maybe I'm still a bit bruised but still no injuries. Everyone was waiting for us, probably to hear how our journey was but they're about to be disappointed.

"Really? More Gronckles?" Snotlout says bewildered as we watch the Gronckles run away happily. "Just a few stray Gronckles. We should be able to handle that." Hiccup reassures his cousin. Ruffnut scoffs before replying. "Just a few strays, he says." Ruffnut says as Astrid speaks while tending me in my dragon form. "Yeah, you should really have a look at this." Astrid says pointing in a single direction.

"Well, at least we know what happened to the Gronckles from Dark Deep." I said as we watch all the Gronckles from the island chew on rocks and playing around with each other. "Can you believe they flew all this way? Gronckles may be slow, but they are tenacious." Fishlegs said happily as I shook my head in amusement.

"Yeah. Tell me about it." Tuffnut says before noticing an orange Gronckle eating a rock. "Hey! Don't you put that rock in your mouth. You have no idea where it's been, mister. Shoo!" Tuffnut then proceeds to chased the Gronckle as we watch him make a fool of himself. Never change Tuffnut.

"Hiccup. These guys are out of control. We have to get them to their island." Astrid says as I stood by her. "There might be a problem with that." Hiccup said. "They've been chased from their homeland by two giant Boulder Class dragons. The Catastrophic Quaken, to be exact." Fishlegs explains just as Snotlout barged in. "Quaken Shmaken. You let two lousy dragons take over Meatlug's entire island?" Snotlout questioned. "It's not that simple, Snotlout. Especially with one of them being a Shifter. Turned me into a rag doll." I growled as Astrid put her arm around my shoulder to comfort me.

"Sure it is." Snotlout said. "Quakens, one. Meatlug." He makes a buzzer noise. "Pathetic." Fishlegs glares at Snotlout and Hiccup told them to drop it. "Let's drop it. We have a bigger problem here. We need to wrangle these wild Gronckles." Hiccup said before turning to the Twins. "And since I unfairly doubted the twins, I put them in charge." "Awesome. It'll be nice to get to know these guys better." Tuffnut says, holding a rock in his hand. "We got off to a little bit of a rocky start on our relationship." He then started laughing at his own joke as we walked away, but I did let out a chuckle at his joke. It was cringey and terrible but points for effort. "You see what I did there? Matt?" Tuffnut sighed. "I'll explain it later. My humor can be quite complex."

My swarm flies in the air, through the forest before merging into one. I barreled and weave through the trees before finally reaching the open air of Dragon's Edge. I landed and changed into my human form, took a deep breath in before exhaling. I opened my eyes slowly before widening, seeing a bunch of Gronckles. "By Noctis, that's a lot of Gronckles! Where did they came from?" I asked out loud. 'I don't know but this is not their natural habitat. They don't belong here.' Reghi growls as I looked around.

There was Fishlegs speaking with Snotlout, the Twins wrangling the Gronckles, Nightshift in a bad mood. Hiccup and Astrid… Wait a minute. I turned my attention to Nightshift again and I was correct in my first assessment. He doesn't look happy. 'Wonder what's with him?' 'Don't know. Let's find out.' I walked over to Nightshift, who was sitting on a rock with a scowl on his face. I approached him until I was only a few feet away from him. He didn't seem to notice and so got even closer, and closer, and closer until my face was right next to his.

Nightshift seemed to stop his scowl, realizing my presence, he look up in his confusion before glancing to his right before glancing in my direction, seeing my wide psychotic grin. He yelped in fright and fell off, making me laugh. Nightshift looks at me annoyed before looking away. I stopped laughing and sat by him.

"What got your scales in a twist? Did you meet Dagur on your journey and he escaped?" I asked as he scoffs. "I wish. I was beaten and turned into a ragged doll." He answered, causing me to raised my eyebrow at him. "Oh? Was it another Shifter? If not, I would be surprised because nothing else can beat us." I asked him as he scowls. "Yes okay! I was beaten by another Shifter! A Catastrophic Quaken Shifter! Huge with spikes all over his body, able to turned into a ball, and has giant warhammer bigger than myself!" Nightshift growls as I looked at him in shock.

He fought a Fonaar!? He should be lucky he survived! Nightshift noticed my shocked look. "What?" "You fought a Fonaar!?" I screech causing him to flinch at the pitch. "What in Noctis is a Fonaar?" He asked as I laughed madly. "Oh nothing. Just Shifters that are actually meant for war! Fonaar is translation to battle charger. They are meant to destroy fortresses and are the front lines of armies during the Ancient Shifters time. You are very lucky that you escaped and shouldn't fight him again." I stated, knowing that this Shifter in particular is trouble.

Nightshift stares at me in disbelief before glaring at me, standing up. "As if I would allow that dragon to beat me. I'm going back out there and this time make sure I win against that thing." "Oh Noctis! Are you stupid!? Were you born from a Terrible Terror!? Fonaar's can't be defeated in battle, Nightshift! They're strong, they're fast, and, despite their low vocabulary, smart as well. You may be the future Alpha Shifter, but you aren't yet. You don't have the strength to go against him one on one, you aren't fast enough to dodge his attacks forever, and you can't outthink him because he'll probably see it coming. Okay, maybe not the last one, but still! It's too dangerous! And you'll get hurt!" I yelled as he looks at me angrily. He shoves me away and starts walking towards Hiccup's hutt.

I sighed in sadness before walking away back to my hutt. Maybe some space can let him think. I just don't want him hurt. 'You can't baby him. He's not a hatchling.' Reghi says as I sighed. 'I just want him to be safe. He's lucky enough he survived.' 'Yet he faced a lot of other dangers than this and won.' I scoffed, flipping my hair away from my eyes. 'That's different. None of them were Shifters.' 'Have you forgotten about the Snow Wraith and Death Song shifters our friends told us about?' 'The Snow Wraith used hit and run tactics meaning he couldn't face Nightshift head on. The Death Song Shifter was fighting against her instincts so she didn't go all out. He hasn't had a real fight from a Shifter.' I pointed out. 'Then train him.' Reghi's sudden reply surprised me. 'What?' 'Train him. Teach him to actually fight a Shifter. You're a Shifter aren't you? You can help him beat the Fonaar.' I was hesitant. My fighting style is completely different from a Fonaar! 'I don't know, Reghi. My fighting style is different from a Fonaar. I don't go hitting people in the face and shattering their skulls with a warhammer. I used fast, precise, accurate, brutal attacks to cause fear and down morale. I'm an assassin, I fight like an assassin. I can't teach him.' 'It's better than nothing. Train him or not, he'll still go back there to fight the Fonaar. The difference is, will he be prepared for the fight?' I stood there in front of my hutt for a few minutes before sighing. 'Alright. Better get my weapons then.'

Tyse thinks that I can't do this! I'll show her that I can! That I will! 'No offense, Nightshift, but she's right. You're not ready for this. This battle itself will kill you. Don't let your pride be the reason you fall. A prideful Shifter is a dead Shifter. For once let it go. Besides, you're not experienced enough to battle Crusher. He will kill you.' Wolf growled as I snarled to him. I hate to admit it, but he's right. I'm not strong enough to battle him again. That's why I'm going to train and with Hiccup's help, we'll find a way to take those dragons down.

I walked up to Hiccup's hutt and found Fishlegs and Hiccup talking. Fishlegs though looked upset while Hiccup looked guilty. "Well, I'm not sure that we have the right to interfere." I heard Hiccup say as I gotten closer. "The Quakens has taken over the island for now. And one day, maybe a bigger dragon will come along and the Quaken will be chased off. You know, who's to say? I'm sorry, Fishlegs." Hiccup finished just as I walked up to him.

"Hey Hiccup, Fishlegs. What's going on here?" I asked, hoping it's not what I think it is. "Hiccup doesn't think we should interfere with Dark Deep and help bring the Gronckles back." Fishlegs answers slightly glaring at Hiccup. "Fishlegs." Hiccup scorned. "Excuse me? Hiccup, you know the Gronckles can't stay here. This isn't their home. We have to return them to Dark Deep, after we take out those Quakens, of course." I growled at the end. The mention of it angered me.

"Matt, you barely even scratch that Shifter. It's too dangerous. One normal huge dragon is one thing, but a Shifter is too much for us. You defeated the other Shifters on the first time, but that huge Shifter? He defeated you in seconds. What do you think will happen if we come back for round two?" Hiccup asked me. I didn't respond and he took it as my answer. "We will be slaughtered. I'm sorry, Matt. I really am."

I growled, turning around and stomped away. I stopped before glancing back. "Since when are we cowards to just run away? Especially when innocent dragons lose their home?" I questioned, transforming into my dragon form before flying away to my hutt.

I panted as I ran, leading the Gronckles away from the Catastrophic Quaken as it rolled toward us, growing bigger and bigger as it comes closer. "Come on! Follow me, hurry, hurry! This way!" I yelped, almost tripping before catching my feet again. "Come on! Keep up!" I yelled to the Gronckles.

Suddenly Snotlout appears by my side, floating. "What did I tell you? You'll be back. They always come back." He then laughs wickedly and disappears. I panted as I ran, before looking forward. The giant Catastrophic Quaken Shifter, Crusher was right in front of me. He lifts his hammer up. "Crusher crush you!" He roars before slamming his hammer on me.

"Noooo!" I screamed, waking up from my terrible nightmare. Snotlout is right. I can't defeat the Catastrophic Quaken on my own my way. Especially that Shifter. I need to fight back. I need Snotlout's help. But what about that Shifter? Me and Snotlout can't fight him ourselves. The only one that can is Matt and Tyse but can they help? Matt was hurt badly last time and I don't know if Tyse even wants to help. She protects the island, right? So anything not on her island isn't her concern.

Whatever the reason, we need their help but first I need to talk to Snotlout. Early in the morning, I went to go find Snotlout. I found him sleeping on a couple of barrels, snoring away. I breathed in for composure before walking up to him and waking him. "I can't believe I'm gonna say this, but teach me everything you know, Snotlout." I said determined. "You came back? Ahh!" Snotlout questions in surprise before falling off, toppling the barrels. He gets up and pretends that nothing happens. "Of course he came back. I knew he would." He chuckles. Hookfang snorts smoke at his rider, not believing it. "Hookfang." He scorns.

"Um, let's just keep this between us, we don't wanna bother Hiccup with any of this." I said, not wanting him to know at all what I'm doing. "I feel you on that. Now, it's time to get dirty." Snotlout smashes his fist in his hand with a smirk. I smiled and nodded before facepalming groaning. "Right, but we need Matt and Tyse's help. We can't fight a Shifter ourselves." I explained, causing him to hesitantly nod. "Yeah, I don't feel like battling a Shifter that can crush my bones and drink my blood." Snotlout says. "Shifters don't drink blood… I think?" I nervously stated, remembering how Tyse is sadistic and I think she drinks her enemies blood. "I don't want to talk about it! Let's just go find them." We then began to go look for them.

"...And so we need your help to defeat the Quakens, you in?" I explained to Matt as he was sharpening his sword. "You can bet your scales I am! I have a score to settle with that Catastrophic Quaken Shifter. But are you sure you need… his help?" Matt asked, pointing at Snotlout who was picking his ear from a couple of feet away. "I'm not judging, but you're… soft and kind. Not blood thirsty and aggressive. Violence isn't your strong suit. Him, yes. You, no." "I know, but we have to win this. For the Gronckles and their home." I said, determined. Matt slowly smiles and stands up. "Then let's get training then."

"Am I not invited?" A voice from the trees said. We turned around surprised to see Tyse hanging upside down like a bat. Matt snarled and points at her aggressively. "You're not stopping us from doing this, Tyse." He growled as I grew nervous. What will Tyse do to us?! Will she torture us until we comfess!? Will she break our fingers to make us talk!? "I'm not stopping you. I'm here to join you." She confessed with a smile. Will she join us? We looked at her confused, causing her to frown. "What? Can't a Shifter have a change of heart?" She asked, releasing her hold on the branch, landing on her in front of us.

"You were quite clear that I'm not strong enough, so why join us." Matt says, eyeing her suspiciously. "And I still stand by my statement. You have no experience, but I do. I can train you and help you against this Shifter. I know you don't like me right now. And that's fine, I deserve it. I'm not your mother and you make your own choices. I need to respect that, but at least let me help you in freeing Dark Deep." She gets on her knees and bows lowly.

Matt looks at her seriously before glancing at me. "It's your call Fishlegs. We could use the extra help, I admit. Another Shifter by our side could make our job easier." He says as I think for a bit before nodding. "She can help."

"Alright then. Every Shifter has the instinct to fight, but they can improve their fighting abilities by training. By doing this, you could make a new powerful move or make a quick attack. For example, I didn't always fight like this. I used to fight by aggressively attacking my enemies, cutting their limbs or breaking their bones. It took awhile to kill them. After training however, I learned how to cripple my enemies. What poisons to use, which areas to strike in, I turned from an aggressive fighter into a deadly assassin. Now I shall train you to see what fighting style you are most comfortable with." Tyse explains.

We were in an open area surrounded by trees. It was the perfect place to train in. Snotlout was teaching Fishlegs how to fight like him, while I was trained by Tyse to find my fighting style. Tyse pulls one of her daggers out and inspects it. "This blade is a part of me and it helped me slay my enemies. Now it will be a tool to train you. Are you ready? Because I won't hold back."

I stared at her determined, nodding before taking out my blade, Yolsilnah, from my back. "Let's see what you got." And so the training begins. Tyse charges with great speed, disappearing before appearing behind me and slices at my head. I ducked, kicking her gut and launching her back. I charged and swung my sword, only for one of her curved daggers to redirect it away. She uses her other arm to stab me, but I used my free hand to grab her wrist and twisted it, pushing her to the ground and pinning her with her arm still in my hold.

She grunts and before I knew it I get kicked in the face by her leg. Who knew that she was that limbered. She kicks me multiple times before slipping out, and smacking me with her elbow. The attack made me stumble and that gave her the chance to quickly pounce and land on me. She smiles psychically and stabs her dagger into my shoulder. I screamed in pain before grabbing the back of her head and headbutt her. She yelps in pain, giving me the chance to swing Yolsilnah at her chest. She backflips and throws her daggers midair, making me roll away from the sawing blades.

The blades sawed the ground where I was before returning to Tyse again. She smirks as I growled, charging at her. I lift my hand and blast her with my plasma blasts multiple times, making her dodge and spin away from my ranged attacks and closer to me. She does a spin kick, but I jumped over it spinning and kicked her at the same time. The kick knocked her to the ground, only for her to roll on her back. "Is that the best you can do?" She asked, attacking at every angle. I blocked each of her attacks with my sword before swinging upwards, nearly cutting Tyse in half.

She laughs madly before her eyes glowed. The area around us changes and transforms into Devil's Shores. I looked around to find my old village, my home. I hear angry echos of both my old village and my friends. They keep telling me that I was a wretch and that I was a monther. A shadowy version of my abusive father appears and smiles evilly at me. "You are a wretch! You are nothing! You are useless! A monster! A devil!" He repeats these things and many more. I looked blankly at him before slapping him.

The area changes back to the forest with Tyse holding her cheek. She looks at me incredulously before saying. "Did you just slap me?" She asks bewildered as I shrugged. "Next time show something fearful. Not an old fear that I overcame years ago." I simply say making her laugh. "You're one stubborn dragon. If my power doesn't affect you, then perhaps this will." She laughs madly, parts of her splitting from her and forming clones of her. Soon their were at least ten of them.

I looked at her unamused. "Really? Do you fight fair at all?" I asked with a raised eyebrow. She nearly shrugs. "Where's the fun in that?" She says, starting the battle once again with her clones. I dodged one of the clones, tripping and kicking her away. I smacked a clone in the face and stabbed another in the stomach. I pulled my sword from the clone and sliced a clone's head off. Four down, six to go. Two of the clones sliced there daggers at me but I dodged, tossed my blade upwards, successfully distracting them, before slicing my claws through them, cutting them in half.

Tyse and the rest of her clones looked at each other silently before nodding. The three clones charged and slid underneath me, cutting both of my legs. I growled in pain, forcefully kneeling. Two of the clones pinned me down and forcefully lifted my head upwards revealing the third smirking clone. I growled in anger before disappearing in my show form. The three of them look around panicky before they became frozen in ice.

Tyse looks at her clones in surprised before I reappear in front of her. I lifted my hand up with a raised eyebrow as she sees the glowing ice hand. "Surprised?" I asked mockingly. She just smirks. "Not really. You're the Alpha Shifter." She replies before throwing her daggers once again, making me roll away.

We trained for a couple of more hours before we finally stopped. "You came a long way. And I believe you're ready to fight the Fornaar." Tyse says with a smile. I smiled back to her before I smelt something familiar. "Hiccup." I said turning around to see Hiccup with a disappointed look. Fishlegs and Snotlout smiles nervously at me as I blankly stare at them.

"I knew you were up to something." Hiccup says, looking at us. "Fishlegs, Matt, you have been training to take on the Quaken?" Hiccup asked. Snotlout stood in front of us, blocking us with his hands. "You both don't have to answer that." Snotlout says stubbornly. "Oh, yes, they do. Fishlegs, Matt?" Hiccup says as Fishlegs gives in. "Fine. Yes, we have." Fishlegs admitted as I rolled my eyes. "We can't just sit by and let the Quakens take over Dark Deep."

I stepped up. "You all know the Gronckles can't stay here. This isn't their home, Hiccup." I added. "Wanna talk about nature, what's right and who belongs where? The Dragon Eye, it says the Gronckles were supposed to live on Dark Deep and we're gonna make sure they do. We're ready for it this time, Hiccup. Look. Meatlug battle ready!" Fishlegs orders. Meatlug roars, making a battle ready stance. Toothless wasn't impressed. "Really?" Toothless says as he makes a tiny plasma blasts, hitting her in the face. "Owie." Meatlug whimpers. "Seriously, Tooth?" I asked unamused. Toothless just shrugs, not caring in the slightest.

"Battle ready? Whoa. Fishlegs, this isn't you, it's them." Hiccup points at our direction. "I know. Great, right?" Snotlout agrees. "It's not great, Snotlout. Not to Hiccup, it isn't." Tyse says, looking at her talons. "What Tyse said. You can't listen to Snotlout. That has disaster written all over it." "Hey! I resent that! When has anything I've ever done ended in disaster?" Snotlout questions. "I could name a couple of hundred." I say blankly, remembering every single problem that he has caused. "Right, Hookfang? Hookfang" Snotlout said at the end before noticing his dragon flying off. "Hookfang!" Snotlout yells before looking at us nervously.

Hiccup turns back to the rest of us. "You're all brain and heart, Fishlegs. Not brawn and bragging." He said. "But, Hiccup…" Fishlegs tries to speak. "You're right, Fishlegs. They should be on their own island and you know what, we'll find a way to make that happen, but fighting the Quakens, no, that's not it." Hiccup puts his hand on Fishlegs shoulder. Fishlegs hesitantly nods in acceptance. Hiccup nodded back before sternly turning to me and Tyse.

"Now I can't exactly say anything to you since you don't listen at all." Hiccup says bluntly to me as I smirked. "It's part of being a Haddock." I said, smirking. Hiccup frowns before turning to Tyse. "But I can say something to you. You once agreed with me that it was too dangerous for them. Why are you helping him, Tyse?" Hiccup questions as Tyse rolls her eyes before looking at him. "I don't know, Hiccup. Maybe I wanted to see Nightshift trained in this battle? Maybe I wanted a good fight? Maybe I'm just bored? Maybe I want to get the Gronckles back to their ancestral island? Who's to say. What I know is that Nightshift won't listen to any of us and will get back on that island to challenge the Fonaar. Might as well help him out, after all he's my future king." Tyse says uncaringly. Hiccup stares into her blank yet challenged eyes before sighing in defeat.

Hiccup mounts Toothless and prepares to takeoff. "Please be careful." Toothless crooned worriedly before taking into the air. We looked at them fly off, Fishlegs was more sadden while Snotlout had a disappointed look. Me and Tyse looked at each before nodding. This won't change anything.

Suddenly the Twins appeared on top of Barf and Belch. "Um, you didn't happen to see five -or twenty- wild Gronckles run through here by any chance?" Ruffnut questions nervously. "Not that we lost them or anything. Even if we did, we'd deny it." Tuffnut added quickly. "How could you lose twenty Gronckles?" Snotlout asked in bewilderment. "I know, right? We built a whole new pen for them." Tuffnut said. "Yeah. Out of rocks." Ruffnut added as I facepalm. "Tuff, Ruff? Say that again but this time focus on those words." I said, crossing my arms.

The Twins repeated what they said slowly before coming into realization. "Oh. Right. Rocks. Gronckles." The both of them said as Tyse giggles at the two. "Hey. Would you guys might give me a lift back to the clubhouse? Hookfang is… otherwise engaged." Snotlout said. "In mating I bet." Tyse whispered directly in my ear causing me to blush and elbow her in the gut, making her cough laughing. "We'll give you a ride, Snotlout." We turned to Fishlegs who had a determined look on him. "On one condition."

"I feel bad sneaking away." Fishlegs admitted as we land on Dark Deep. "But meatlug and I were the Gronckles' only hope." "And we'll back you up from the Fonaar." Tyse says as her swarm merges and transform back into her human form. "What she said." I said, turning back to human form. "You did the right thing, Fishlegs." Snotlout says pointing at him. "You can take these dragons and reclaim Dark Deep for the Gronckles!"

Suddenly the earth rumbles and growled, unsheathing Yolsilnah from my back. Tyse unsheathes her daggers as we look and see two rolling boulders on a small cliff before unrolling itselves to reveal the Castrophic Quaken and the Crusher in dragon form, roaring. Snotlout turns to us in a panick. "You never said they were this big! What were you thinking!?" Snotlout exclaimed. "You said I did the right thing." Fishlegs says. "Uh, yeah. That was before I saw it!"

The dragon on the right changes form to reveal Crusher. Crusher hefted his warhammer up on his shoulder before growling. "Crusher crusher you this time!" He roared, beating his chest. "Um, I'm going to… uh… go get some help!" We turned to Snotlout and see him slowly back away. "Yeah! Get some help! Oh, they're really big." Snotlout then runs away making Fishlegs run away as well. Me and Tyse stood put and went into a battle stance. Crusher motions the dragon to chase Fishlegs and Snotlout while he lands in front of us.

"Ooooooh! You a big boy!?" Tyse jokes as Crusher stoods up to full height. "Crusher crush you this time. Who scary lady?" Crusher points at Tyse in confusion. "I'm your worst nightmare!" Tyse cheerfully says as her eyes turn slits and glows an evil yellow while dorning a psychotic smile. Crusher growls at her, lifting his hammer off his shoulder. "Crusher crush you too!" He roared, swinging at us.

We rolled away from the swing, dodging his weapon before charging. Tyse slides underneath Crusher when he tried smashing her, only to find her on his back. "Hello!" She cries before stabbing both of her daggers into his back. Crusher roars in pain, trying to get Tyse off his back as she continues stabbing. I took the opportunity to jump and kick him in the face making him stumble back. I spin Yolsilnah multiple times in my hand before swinging my blade at his right leg then his left, make him kneel on his knees, then stabbing at his chest.

Crusher catches the last attack and roars, smacking me away with his large arm, launching me into a cliff, cracking it. Crusher finally grabbed Tyse off his back and begins slamming her body to the ground multiple times. "Crusher crush you!" He roars, repeating every time he slams Tyse to the ground. "Any ah! Time ah! Now ah!" Tyse gasps trying to stay conscious. I shake my head to get rid of the dizziness before throwing my sword at his arm. The sword hits his hand holding Tyse, digging into it before Crusher was forced to release her.

Once she was free, Tyse kicks her feet up and lands back on her feet before throwing her dagger at the Shifter. Crusher ducks to avoid the spinning blades before swinging his warhammer at Tyse, who cartwheels away. Crusher went to swing at her again, only to lift his handle to block my punch. I quickly grab onto the handle and used it to spin myself, kicking Crusher's face breaking his helmet. Crusher growled lowly and proceeded to grab me, only for Tyse's daggers to come back and sawed his back. He roared in pain, allowing me to disarm him of his warhammer.

I used all my strength to lift the giant, and SUPER heavy weapon and begin to spin myself. I keep spinning as Tyse distracts Crusher by kicking him in the face multiple times or slicing him on the sides. Crusher uses his fist to try to smash the agile Shifter, but she dodges each of his attacks. Crusher roared in fury and multiple spikes of rock jets out of the ground and he begins sending them towards Tyse. Tyse spreads her arms out and multiple clones of herself appear in a flash of light before splitting up to avoid the spears. Crusher, though confused, keeps sending spikes towards the Tyses. Many of the clones got stabbed through and killed but the rest of the Tyses charged the giant Shifter and begins dog piling him.

Crusher used all his strength to free himself and launched every Tyse off of him. While in midair, Crusher grabs the original and crushes her causing her to scream in pain. The rest of her clones disappear because as long as she's not hurt physically, mentally, or spiritually, she can hold her clones active. Crusher growls lowly as he slowly squeezes the life out of Tyse, making her gasp and scream in pain. "Crusher crush you." He growls, making her smirk. Crusher was confused before he heard a whistle. Crusher turns his head only to meet me in the air with his hammer spinning. "Surprised!" I say before smashing the hammer on his face, releasing Tyse and launching him towards a cliff, smashing and breaking it to pieces.

I sighed in relief before letting go of the warhammer and running towards Tyse. "You alright Tyse?" I asked concerned as she groans. "My passion is pain. Yet I don't like this pain at all. Ow." She moans as I lift her up in my arms. "That should have knocked him out for a while. Let's go find the others." I said as I walked to go find our friends. "Is this a dream? Being carried by a strong hunk of a man? Having a strong Alpha's arms around me?" I blushed hearing Tyse say that and glanced down at her. She had a dizzy look and she looked drunk. I supposed Crusher slamming her to the ground multiple times caused that. She was just on adrenaline. "Just rest. You need it." I say softly as she smiles. "Okay. I'm just going to dream about something highly inappropriate. Don't be surprised if you feel something wet on me." She then passes out, while I, blushing madly, readjust my grip where my hand is far away from her thighs. "Hahahaha! That's just hilarious!" Wolf roars in laughter as I groan in embarrassment.

Hold up just a moment. I felt the ground rumble and roar coming closer behind us! I quickly tossed Tyse far away before I get tackled by an enraged Crusher. Crusher kept hold of me while slamming me through multiple cliffs, rocks, everything for at least two minutes. Soon we reached an open area and I unsheathed my claws and jammed them through the unprotected eyes of the giant. Crusher roars in pain as we flip over and separate from each other. I got up first and roared at him, making him roar back. "I'm starting to get mad now, you son of an eel-eater!" I roared as we both charged at each other. "Crusher crush you!" He roared as he tries clothesline me but I ducked and kicked him in the knee. Crusher roars as he swings his giant arms multiple times before slamming them into the ground. The shockwave impacts me, launching me into the air where I turned into my dragon form. I opened my maw and fired multiple plasma blasts, hitting Crusher and the ground, causing a smokescreen.

I looked at the smoke dissipate and Crusher wasn't there and instead was a giant hole. I widened my eyes in surprised before an explosion was heard from behind me. I looked back quickly and caught a bludgeon tail in the face, smacking me towards the ground and causing a small crater. I groaned in pain and opened my eyes slightly to see Crusher in dragon form forming a ball and fell towards me. I rolled away and Crusher impacts the ground, causing a larger crater.

I growled at Shifter as he growls back. We were about to charged again when a screech was heard above us. We looked up and a black figure pouches on Crusher's face and begins punching him repeatedly. "YOU EAL-EATER! YOU INTERRUPTED A GOOD DREAM! YOU'LL PAY FOR THAT!" Tyse screamed as blood started to appear on her fists from Crusher's dragon face. Crusher knocks Tyse away and changes back into his Shifter form. Crusher charges with a fist towards Tyse, but I kicked him in the face knocking him down.

Crusher pants, tired, as he slowly gets up on his feet. He was getting tired and so were we. "Crusher. Tired. Crusher. Need. Break." He pants heavily. "You're lucky we're tired as well. Otherwise I'll give you a catastrophic breakdown." Tyse pants, referencing her powers as I yawned. We stood there for a few moments, silent and panting before Crusher breaks the silent. "Why you attack kin-brother?" Crusher asked.

I turned to him with a scowl before responding. "He attacked us first as well as a couple of innocent Gronckles. You and your brother took the Gronckles." I growled. Crusher looks down in thought before sitting down, glum and sadden. "Crusher and kin-brother didn't take Gronckle home. Crusher and kin-brother wanted friends." Crusher says sadden.

Tyse and I look at each other in surprise, not expecting this answer. "Then why didn't you make friends with the Gronckles?" Tyse asked curious. Crusher looked at us before looking at himself. "Gronckles fear Crusher and kin-brother. We big. We scary. No one want be friend with Crusher and kin-brother. No one." Crusher says, tears coming out of his eyes. I heard a sniffle and turned to see Tyse crying. "You poor thing! You just wanted a friend and we just attacked you! I'm sorry! Do you want a hug? Here let me give you a hug!" Tyse then begins to hug the giant, but because of his size she could only reach his waist and even then she couldn't around all of him. Crusher hesitantly and cautiously hugged back. "Crusher like this. Makes Crusher happy." He says as they continue hugging. I smiled a little, seeing this reminds me when I first met Hiccup and reunite with Toothless.

We stood there with no more conflict until Wolf reminded us what's happening right now. "Aren't we going to check our friends and see if we can stop the Catastrophic Quaken was killing them?" Wolf asked as we widen our eyes in realization. We forgot about the others. We quickly transformed into our dragon forms and flew into the air to look for our friends.

We found them quickly and landed, only to see that the Catastrophic Quaken is docile. "I see you two made a new friend." Hiccup said with a smile as he sees Crusher stood next to us. "It took a lot of pain and broken bones, but in the end… yeah, we did. Everybody this is Crusher, just a lonely dragon that just wanted a few friends." I introduced as Crusher waves his hand in greeting. "Crusher likes new friends." He says as Tyse appears behind his shoulder. "And he's just a big ol' softie!" Tyse giggled as we laughed.

In the end, instead of defeating an enemy, we made a new friend. Crusher is giant bruiser but he has a good heart who just wanted a few friends. He decided to join us back to Dragon's Edge to help us find Dagur bring him to justice. But of course Crusher had to say goodbye to his brother, but he knew that his brother can take care of himself, especially with his new friends.

Crusher also likes to plant things and likes to spend time in Fishlegs meditation garden. We decided to build his hutt beside Fishlegs'. The two of them became good friends. Of course Crusher made a friendship with Tyse, becoming best friends. Who knew a sadistic assassin becomes friends with a softhearted brute? I suppose anything is possible. Now we just need to figure out a way for Crusher to fit in most of the doors.

Hey everybody, NightshifttheDragonShifter here on another update! We gained a new ally and the next chapter will reveal an old friend of ours. Well maybe not to Nightshift. This will be explained in the next chapter. And it will be soon. Hopefully at the end of the month. Don't forget to comment and follow ! Nightshift away!
