A week later, ANH was going to be on as Luke was practicing. It was now August 24th.
Oliver's mind was focused on this practice. He was also hyper-focused on seeing his siblings lose.
Angry Luigi was just doing this for fun and not out of malice, but Alem tuber was in it to crush Angry Luigi.
"Hey, Brandy, it's Bill's birthday today." Savannah says.
"Can't come to the party. It's at the same time as the show. The most I can do is bring a gift, at least." Brandy says.
"When I crush you." Randy says.
"Hey, Oliver, we got a plan. We're going to humiliate your siblings, which will get them eliminated." Luke says.
"I'm listening." Oliver says.
"Then we get rid of them for good." Remy ssys.
"Remington, what did your therapist tell you not to do?" Victoria asked sternly.
"Sorry…" Remy says.
"That's what I thought." Victoria says.
Soon, the show was starting in Disneyland as Gemma came on stage.
"Ladies and gentlemen, I welcome you to Disneyland in beautiful Anaheim, California! We are hosting our Disney Night show live from the Hollywood Backlot Stage at Disney's California Adventure! Tonight will feature a mass variety of Disney-themed performances and another quintuple elimination, sending our top 30 to our Country Night show in Austin, Texas. Remember that the platinum button is in play for one of our teams, and can only be used once per show. We still count on your votes, America, so keep voting for your team of choice!" Gemma says.
Colleen was getting dressed as they were up first.
"Coming up first is the team of Sal, Colleen, Jason and Brandy! " Gemma says.
"Luke, good luck." Colleen says, unaware of Luke's plan.
They came on as fans cheered. They then began their performance of "Go The Distance" from Hercules.
They soon finished as fans cheered.
"Coming up next is the cosmic buddies!" Gemma says. Fans cheered as there was an African plains-themed setting as they did "I Just Can't Wait To Be King".
Fans cheered as Gemma hit the platinum button for them when they finished.
Luke watched from backstage, but had to be fair, considering his team had the button treatment for the past 2 shows. But he still hated the fact they were being too clingy, despite Oliver telling them to stop.
"Coming up next… " Gemma starts.
"Cuppy and Mugsy!" The crowd cheered and chanted.
"The team of Cuphead, Mugman, Beau, and Lisa!" Gemma said as the fans cheered.
"You don't have a chance at winning, shrimp." Mark says.
"Leave him alone! He's part of our friend group. You mess with one of us, you mess with all of us." Colleen says.
"Are we going to have issues here?" Luke asked.
They walk off.
Fans cheered as the group did their "Be Our Guest" performance.
"Go, Lisa!" Lily cheered.
They finished as fans screamed, chanting their names, mainly the cups' names.
Luke watched as Charity, Savannah, Tina, and Victoria went up, performing "Dig A Little Deeper" from Princess And The Frog.
"You'll do great!" Colleen says.
"Sure…" Luke says.
Suddenly, Stephen put up the video after the performance as fans gasped. Brandy was flooded with guilt for being clingy.
"Idiot." Alem tuber says to his brother.
"Do you really want the cosmic buddies in this show?" Luke asked.
"Wait! I'm on Brandy's team, Luke." Colleen says, shocked Luke was willing to get her out of the show.
Luke just runs off.
"They were clingy." Stephen says.
"Oliver, we're sorry…" Brandy says, looking guilty. "We had no idea you were feeling this way."
"You got me involved in your messes whenever I tried to tell you!" Oliver says.
"Look, we won't do that again. We just feel safe with you." Emma says.
"Coming up next are the Moon Goats!" Gemma says.
They perform a rock & roll cover of "Colors Of The Wind" from Pocahontas.
Fans cheered and really got into it.
"Coming up next are the stars of the show, Luke Huntington, Remy Estevez, Oliver Fox, and their jewel of the sea, Cynthia Widdlestine!" Gemma says.
The group appears in an undersea setting, performing "Under The Sea" from The Little Mermaid.
Lucy cheered for Luke as he performed.
Fans screamed seeing Cynthia specifically. Luke felt a bit jealous inside, but didn't show it as the performance continued.
Soon, they finished. Cynthia flung her hair as boys lost it. Luke left the stage without a word.
"Luke?" Lucy asked.
"Just…just leave me alone." Luke says, walking off.
After Mark's team went the Adventure Kids. They performed "Let It Go" from Frozen as fans cheered.
Cynthia crossed her arms.
Luke was gone. He sat on the California Adventure Ferris wheel alone.
Ronnie Anne finds him. Luke looked away.
"Don't look at me…" Luke sniffed.
"What's wrong, Luke?" She asked. Luke cried and explained.
The points were being tallied.
"It doesn't look good for us." Victoria tells Charity.
Savannah feels like it's her fault for being on their team. But to their surprise, they were still in this.
"Is Brandy still in this?" Savannah asked.
"In 4th place, yes." Charity says. And come to think of it, once tonight's votes were tallied, it showed that all the main teams were still in.
Brandy goes to be alone as a tomato was thrown at him. Fans were tossing food at him. Brandy runs off sobbing as Colleen feels bad.
"Hey, leave him alone!" she yelled. But they didn't listen.
Skylia was looking for the kids to take them home. She saw this happening and sent the fans flying.
"Oliver, we're going home." Skylia says.
"Why? So they can be even more clingy than usual? Your kids need to learn about personal space, which they haven't given me since day one!" Oliver shouts.
"Look, they're your siblings. I'm sure they're going to give you some space. I'm making your favorite dessert tonight." Skylia says.
At dinner time, only Oliver was at the table. His siblings seemed to be avoiding him. Oliver ate everything on his plate as he poured out his concerns to Skylia and Gabriel.
"Look, they're going to give you space." Skylia says, though she was worried. They usually loved to eat with them. Stephen's video must have driven a wedge between them.
Skylia goes to cry alone, knowing the family would split.
Stephen's parents weren't pleased with this. Stephen was asked to take the video down and he was grounded until Halloween.
"But, they hurt Oliver's feelings." Stephen says.
"You are trying to tear a family apart in the process." Colin says.
"Oliver needs to be away from them." Stephen says.
"We understand, sweetie, but it isn't your place or your job to have a say so in that." Caroline says.
Soon, Skylia tucked Oliver in, holding back tears. She was planning to take all her kids to the beach tomorrow to celebrate the last few days of summer and possibly days as a family.
The next day, Skylia made breakfast. Oliver came down, wide awake.
Forest and Gabriel were meeting at a coffee shop for breakfast that same morning.
"So, what have you got?" Gabriel asked Forest, sipping his soy milk-based cappuccino.
He shows the evidence as Gabriel looks through it.
"What can you tell me about it all?" Gabriel asked.
"The food, the weapons, and the clingy nature of the kids." Forest says. "Possible attachment issues."
"Will they have to separate?" Gabriel asked.
"Surprisingly, no. Oliver may have to temporarily move in with my family until the attachment issues are resolved, but as long as your family learns to clean up their act, I won't separate anyone." Forest says. "Meaning that the food needs to stay in the kitchen if it can stay there, the weapons need to be less visible, and the clinginess issues have to be resolved."
"We're here!" Skylia says as Emma runs ahead. Alem tuber looked annoyed and walked ahead as well. Angry Luigi goes away from Oliver, leaving him alone.
Oliver spread out his beach chair, picked up his copy of "Oakley Academy's Golden Knights Cheer- How To Turn Fear-Leaders Into Cheerleaders" by Sheryl Stallings, and began to relax and read.
Angry Luigi looked for his brother, but couldn't find him.
The whole day, the siblings didn't look at Oliver even once.
Later, Gabriel joined them.
"Dad!" Oliver says going up to him. He grilled burgers as everyone came to eat. The siblings were slowly scooting away from Oliver as the picnic began.
"So, are you excited for school?" Skylia asked.
"Sure am! I'm meeting with Luke and the cups later. Mugman is finally getting fitted for a Golden Knights mascot costume and we're going over new cheers." Oliver says. "And of course, I'm running for sophomore class president with Luke as my campaign manager. And I'm joining the glee club this year, too."
"That's amazing!" Skylia says. She then asked the twins the same question.
Randy was long gone, not wanting to be around Oliver or Brandy.
Brandy frowned, not really excited about school at all. He didn't like the idea of attending a new school.
"Luke's not having an end-of-summer party this year." Oliver says.
"Why is that?" Gabriel asked.
"Because he's going to the Fairway party the week before school starts. And the band was asked to perform at it." Oliver says. "He scheduled rehearsals for that and the Fairway party is on the 31st."
"Oh, okay." Gabriel says.
Brandy just goes to be alone, knowing Oliver hates him. But deep down, Oliver appreciates him in some form.
"Why do I hang around those idiot brothers of mine" Randy asked himself.
Oliver sees Luke a bit later, meeting him and the cups at Oakley Academy. They were signing autographs.
Fans squeal seeing Oliver.
"A-hem!" Luke says to Oliver and the cups as he is also signing autographs.
Later, Mugman is being fitted into the new mascot costume that is just his size.
"Looking good, Mugsy!" Cuphead says.
They all cheered as Mugman grinned.
