Thank you for once again tuning in to my story. Sorry for the delay. Usually I post the newest chapter around 9am-2pm but I had to deal with a phone call with Verizon over my phone bill going from 138.48/mo to 508.48 and then work So that delayed the final touches on the chapter. So, we will now be continuing Naruto's Training with Jiraiya. Within the last chapter we seen some of what they was up to. Here we see it completely. Chapter 5: Peeping Toms & Revenge
Last Time on Naruto: The Darkness Within,
Jiraiya has arrived in the village and spoke with the Third Hokage. He asked why he was needed and Hiruzen Sarutobi told him that Naruto is a potential threat to the village after he discovered his heritage and has no bonds in the village. Jiraiya understands the issue and offers to train Naruto. During his morning run he bumped into a Leaf Genin, who is Rock Lee. They have a discussion and a spar. Naruto is severely out matched. Rock Lee opened the some of the eight gates. The power hurts him and needs go to the hospital. After Lee is admitted, Naruto finally meets Jiraiya. They have a conversation which ends with Jiraiya promising to train the boy. Naruto is excited at the prospect of training with his father's teacher; however, he will want better answers from him about why he was missing from his life. Naruto heads to the training grounds to train for the Academy Exams. There he met another Genin named Kabuto Yakushi. Kabuto explained that Naruto would never be able to pass the exams due to his clone jutsu. He informs Naruto about Rock Lee's Afterimage technique. Naruto plans to learn that! "Hn! Hmp! Gah!" Someone was yelling while punching a tree.
"Y'know punching a tree like that isn't going to help you much, right?" A familiar voice said. The boy looked over to see the familiar sight of Naruto.
"What do you want dobe?" Sasuke asked.
"I was just finishing up my run. I was wondering if you seen a Genin with really bushy eyebrows." Naruto asked.
Sasuke looked at Naruto, trying to make sense of what he heard. "No. No one comes over here. It's why I train here. Why do you need him?" Sasuke curiously asked.
Naruto started scratching the back of his head and smiles. "Well, he kind of beat me bad yesterday but apparently he knows this after image technique I wanted to learn."
"H-he beat you?" Sasuke astonishingly asked.
"Yeah, with nothing but Taijutsu." Naruto said.
'Nothing but taijutsu?! Naruto is one of the strongest kids in the class and he lost. Dammit! Now I need to surpass Naruto and this bushy eyebrow genin.' "That's interesting to hear. Say Naruto, would you... would you sp-spar with me?" Sasuke asked. He hated to ask anyone of anything but even more so the blonde boy. However, he knew he needed to get Naruto to help him with that seal in the Uchiha Library.
"Did I hear you right? You, the noble last Uchiha, asking me, a no clan loser, to spar? Well, that is something. However, I have to decline your offer because I'm doing some intense training later with a really powerful shinobi." Naruto said.
"What?! What kind of powerful shinobi?" Sasuke angrily questioned. 'What strong shinobi would what to train him over me?' Sasuke had thought to himself.
"Oh, just some old geezer named Jiraiya." Naruto answered.
"You mean Jiraiya of the Sannin? He's going to train you? What for?" Sasuke asked. 'What on earth is going on right now? Why would one of the legendary three want to train him?!' Sasuke thought.
"Oh, well he just wants to make everything better between me and him, y'know? I found out who my parents were and he had connections, deep connections with them and didn't do a damn thing for me." Naruto furthered explained.
Sasuke heard how Naruto's tone changed to that of hatred. "What do you mean you found out who your parents was?" Sasuke asked perplexed.
"Yeah, I guess I lied when I said I was a clanless loser. You see my mother was Kushina Uzumaki of the Uzumaki clan. A clan that was wiped out in the Third Great War by Three Great Nations. They were feared for their Sealing prowess. So Kumo, Iwa, and Kiri wiped my clan completely out." Naruto said.
'He's from a clan so powerful that three of the five great nations wiped them out?! There's no way his clan could've been that strong!' "Wait. How come I never heard of this clan?" Sasuke asked.
"Well, Konoha has erased most of what you can find on them. I'm not sure why. I'll have to ask the Hokage about it." Naruto said.
'Why would Konoha do something like that?' "Well who was your father then?" Sasuke asked.
"Well First let me ask you this. How many people in the Leaf Village have blonde hair and blue eyes?" Naruto asked.
"Hmm, well there's that annoying blonde from our class's clan. Now that I think about it wasn't the Fourt-" Sasuke stopped speaking when Naruto smirked. "N-no way! Y-y-yo-you're the son of the Fourth Hokage!?" Sasuke asked shockingly.
"Yes." Naruto simply answered.
'This is perfect! He will get the archives of the Fourth's jutsu. With that Jutsu I'll be able to kill Him for sure!' Sasuke thought. "Wow. That's surprising." Sasuke said.
"Yeah, well I'd like to talk more but I'm going to have to meet with the goofy sage in a few hours. See ya!" Naruto said. Right before he took off Sasuke stopped him.
"WAIT!" Sasuke said. Naruto turned around and seen Sasuke looking at the ground with a frown.
"What is it?" Naruto asked. Sasuke looked up like he was going to say something but didn't. Naruto looked at the boy, giving him a weird look.
"Can... can I... can I join you?" The raven haired boy reluctantly asked. He felt so humiliated asking the dobe to take him to the Sannin for training. He never asked for anything since the morning of the Uchiha massacre.
"Sure I guess. We will stop at your house first so you can get something to eat." Naruto shrugged. Sasuke stood there shocked. He figured that Naruto would make fun of him or rub it in his face. He had to remember that Naruto changed. The two left the training grounds to Sasuke's house first.
"So, you actually got a nice place then huh?" Naruto asked. Sasuke looked over at the boy wondering what he was talking about. "Y'know, you have a way better place than me." Naruto said. Sasuke didn't know that Naruto had a somewhat run down apartment.
"Oh, I didn't really think you would, with you being the Fourth's son I would've figured you would have a better place." Sasuke said nonchalantly grabbing an apple.
"Nah, I just found out recently. Anyways grab your lunch. We don't know how long Lord Jiraiya will be." Naruto said. Sasuke nodded and walked with Naruto eating his apple.
'This is it! I am finally going to gain the strength I need to defeat him! With a Sannin, I can finally have something over Itachi.' Sasuke glanced at the blonde next to him. 'And to think it's because Naruto opened his mouth to me earlier. Maybe there would be more benefits to being around Naruto other than the stupid seal on the Uchiha library's basement.' Sasuke thought. Being lost in thought he was suddenly nudged by Naruto.
The pair of soon to be Genin are walking side by side to the bathhouses. On the way there Naruto nudged Sasuke. Sasuke looked up from where he was.
"Hey Sasuke, isn't that Ino?" Naruto said as he discreetly pointed out the blonde girl from far.
"Crap!" Sasuke said.
"Use the Transformation Jutsu." Naruto advised. Sasuke nodded and transformed into Iruka. Naruto sees this. 'Really? Iruka-sensei? Alright Sasuke time to make a show.' Naruto thought.
Naruto cleared his throat and started to say, "Iruka-Sensei! I'm not pranking anyone! I just wanted to go to the bathhouse!" Naruto complained to 'Iruka'.
'Curse You NARUTO!' 'Iruka' thought. "Well, Naruto can you blame me? I always see you doing pranks." 'Iruka' said.
"But Iruka-sensei I haven't pranked anyone crazy in over a year." Naruto whined.
"Alright. I'll just follow you to make sure! And you better not peep!" 'Iruka said. Ino walked up at this point.
"Wasn't Sasuke just here?" Ino asked. She knows she just seen him. 'How could he just disappear?' Ino thought to herself.
'Iruka' started to stamper. "No Ino, it's just been me and Iruka-sensei." Naruto said before Sasuke blew his cover.
"Hmm okay. And DONT YOU PEAK AT THE GIRLS AT THE BATHHOUSE OR ELSE!" Ino threatened the blonde.
"Yes ma'am!" Naruto said with a goofy salute. Ino walked away. And 'Iruka' undid the transformation.
"I hate being put on the spot." Sasuke glared at the blonde.
"Well we had to unless you wanted Ino to see through it. Anyways that's besides the point. Why Iruka?" Naruto asked.
"Who else was I going to be? No one likes you." Sasuke said.
Naruto feinted that he was hurt by the statement. "But why would you say something like that knowing how it would make me feel?" Naruto said in a fake depressed voice.
"I hate you." Sasuke said.
"I hate you too Teme." Naruto said. The boys kept walking to their destination. Once they arrived they started to look for Jiraiya.
"Are you sure that Jiraiya said to meet him at the bathhouses?" Sasuke asked the blonde.
"Yes, why would I make that up?" Naruto questioned.
"Because I don-" Sasuke stopped talking as he seen something in the tree. "What the hell is that?" Sasuke asked as he pointed in the tree. Naruto looked up and saw what Sasuke was pointing at.
"I-I think that's Lord Jiraiya." Naruto said.
"Why would he be in a tree?" Sasuke asked. The two boys heard the man giggling. 'Tell me he's not a pervert. Please Kami tell me.'
"Is...is that binoculars?" Naruto asked.
"Are you sure this is the legendary Sannin Jiraiya?" Sasuke asked.
"That's him. Here give me a boost so I can get up the tree." Naruto said. Sasuke held his hands up for Naruto to put his foot on. Sasuke hoisted the boy up the tree. And Naruto tapped Jiraiya.
"Huh?" Jiraiya asked.
"What do you think you're doing?" Naruto curiously asked.
"Oh I'm researching." Jiraiya said. Naruto looked at him and the bath house. Naruto noticed that some of the girls in there were Konoha ninja.
"OH! Sasuke it's okay he's not a pervert. He's spying on a potential enemy of the village." Naruto said. Sasuke not being able to hear it properly.
"What?!" Sasuke had yelled.
"Hey tell your friend to shu-" Jiraiya was cut off by Naruto.
"I SAID JIRAIYA ISN'T PEEPING! HE IS SPYING ON A POTENTIAL THREAT TO THE VILLAGE!" Naruto screamed as loud as he could. Jiraiya was about to hit the boy when all three of them heard a woman yell.
"JIRAIYA! WHAT THE HELL DO YOU THINK YOU ARE DOING PEEPING?! HAVE WE NOT SAID TO STOP THIS!" A purple haired Kunoichi said. The female Kunoichis grabbed their towel to wrap around them and started to chase after the trio.
"Damn brats! Look what you've done!" Jiraiya yelled as he continued to run and jump leaving the two boys behind.
"This isn't our fault!" Naruto said as he and Sasuke struggle to try and keep up.
'This is going to be my death. Beat by women who thinks we peeped on them. Just great.' Sasuke thought depressingly. "Naruto, we need to split away from the pervert and find him later. Let's go to my house again. The females certainly wouldn't think I would peep." Sasuke said as he ducked under a low hanging tree branch.
"Okay Sasuke!" The Blonde agreed as the two made ways to the Uchiha's household.
The two boys' journey had come to an end as the boys made it to the house. Sasuke pulled out two instant ramen cups and got the hot water.
"Alright Sasuke!" Naruto shouted enthusiastically.
"Hn. After all this time of you being different and stronger, you're still an idiot." Sasuke said with a smirk. Which Naruto yelled out Hey! His face straighten out quickly. "We need to find that pervert and get our training done." Sasuke said.
"You're right. This cannot happen again. Let's finish this ramen and then we should see the Hokage. He should know where Jiraiya is." Naruto replied with a mouth full of ramen.
"Please swallow your food then talk." Sasuke said with disgust.
"Sorry Sasuke." Naruto apologized. The two boys finished up their ramen and made there way to the Hokage Mansion.
"We're here to see the Hokage." Naruto said to the receptionist. The lady looked up from her book and glared at the boy.
"Lord Third is busy at this moment. Come back some other time." The lady said with a hint of annoyance. She then looked away from the blonde and at the last Uchiha. "Oh, Uchiha-sama! What brings you here?" She asked.
"Like Naruto said, we're here to see the Hokage." Sasuke told the receptionist. 'Why does she act like she hates Naruto for?' Sasuke thought to himself.
"Oh? I didn't realize that you have that in your company Uchiha-sama." The receptionist said as she looked harshly at Naruto. "Anyways, the Hokage will be done with his meeting within fifteen minutes. Just hang around here until then."
"Thanks." Sasuke said as he and Naruto walked to the chairs at the side. Sasuke sat down and put his arms on the armrest. 'This chair needs to be replaced. Too many people must've sat in this chair.' Sasuke thought. "Say Naruto," Sasuke called out.
Naruto looked over at Sasuke, "Yeah?" The boy replied.
"I have noticed that some of the villagers look at you weirdly. Even the receptionist looked at you like you were the plague or something. Why is it they do that?" Sasuke curiously asked. He seen Naruto's face go from smiling to serious. He was having an inter conflict.
'If I tell Sasuke about the Nine Tails he may act like the rest of the villagers. But he is also lonely like myself too. The question being, do I want Sasuke in my presence? Having someone to spar with would do wonders in my training. He is still a prick though. Maybe that would change in time.' Naruto debated. "Well Sasuke, it's something I don't want to talk about with you at this time. Maybe some other time Sasuke." Naruto said.
Maybe some other time Sasuke.
Not right now Sasuke.
I'll train you later Sasuke.
Sasuke heard his brothers words in Naruto just now. Naruto noticed Sasuke's mood darkened. Naruto couldn't sense the hatred, anger and overall despair Sasuke was feeling right now but the boy could see the last Uchiha's face frowning. Sasuke's face then went blank.
"Perhaps you're right Naruto." Sasuke said.
The two boys sat in silence for the next five minutes before the Hokage appeared.
The elderly Hokage walked out his office and seen the two boys sitting. "Ah, Naruto and Sasuke, how can I help you today?" He asked.
"Well Lord Third, I had a training session Jiraiya earlier and brought Sasuke with me to train where Jiraiya said to meet him. When we got there he was perving on a bunch of girls and got caught. He left us behind and we was wondering if you knew where he was seeming as it's alright like what six in the evening? We could get some training in that time." Naruto said. Hiruzen chuckled at what he heard about his student.
"Yes I do know where he is. I recommend he go to the ramen shop you love so much as he was hungry. Perhaps if you ran you could catch him." The Third Hokage said. Naruto looked at Sasuke and Sasuke looked back. The two boys darted out of the Hokage's tower.
The two boys kept running until they seen their target. The white haired man was eating a bowl of ramen.
'I wonder how those idiots are doing? I wonder if those Kunoichis got them.' Jiraiya thought as he giggled. He was broken from his thoughts when a beautiful blonde woman sat next to him.
Jiraiya admired the blonde woman next to him. She had ocean blue eyes, two blonde pigtails, not too much makeup and a killer figure. 'WOW! There not Tsunade sized but they are nice!' Jiraiya thought to himself. The girl looked over at him and winked.
"Hello, how are you?" The pretty Blonde girl asked.
"I-I-I'm doing well." Jiraiya stuttered while trying not to drip blood in his ramen.
"That's good. So what's a real strong man like yourself doing here in Konoha? I don't think I've seen you before," the girl stated.
"Well I'm the Legendary Sannin Jiraiya." Jiraiya explained, "I go out of the the village for long periods of time and come back with intel to help my village." Jiraiya said.
"Oh, so you're a super strong and hot ninja huh?" The blonde asked.
"That's right," Jiraiya said. He heard the girl's belly rumble. "Say, you want something to eat?" Jiraiya offered.
The blonde girl blushed in embarrassment, "S-sure that would be nice." She said with a smile.
'This is it Jiraiya! You still got the moves!' Jiraiya thought to himself. He did a little victory dance in his head. "Teuchi, let me get another bowl for this lovely woman right here." Jiraiya called out.
"Sure thing!" The ramen chef said.
"So, how long you've been in Konoha?" Jiraiya asked.
"Not long Jiraiya~sama." The girl purred. Jiraiya started to bleed from his nose.
"Well if you're here for long, I think I'll have to stick around longer myself!" Jiraiya said.
Teuchi sat the bowl of ramen down. "Say, don't I know you?" He asked the blonde girl.
"No, I just have one of those faces." She said accepting the bowl of ramen.
"One of those faces? You're stunning! You're one of a kind!" Jiraiya flirted.
"Why thank you Jiraiya~sama." She purred.
The two sat and ate their ramen. The girl eventually started to drink her soup and the bowl slipped. The liquid from the ramen made her white shirt see through. Jiraiya's eyes went wide and his nose started to flow with blood.
"HUBBA HUBBA!" Jiraiya exclaimed!
"Oh no. What am I going to do?" The girl asked while rubbing herself dry. Jiraiya was going to die of blood lost at this point with the amount of blood escaping his nose.
"We'll need to clean those." Jiraiya said point at her chest.
"Yes, I think I'll go to the bathhouses. Care to join me?" She asked. Jiraiya flew out his seat with blood powering his ascend like a rocket. "I'll take that as a yes." The girl laughed.
Jiraiya and the blonde girl walked side by side together to the hot springs. Jiraiya was telling her extremely exaggerated stories of his war battles. Once they arrived at the hot springs, the clerk let them in for free seeing the sexy blonde's top all soaked in a yellowish white shirt.
"Jiraiya can you help me take my clothes off?" She asked. Jiraiya nodded his head rapidly and repeatedly. The two entered the changing room and turned the lights on. Jiraiya heard the familiar sound of a transformation.
"poof!" Smoke cleared and standing there was Naruto Namikaze. Jiraiya looked around and see multiple Kunoichis from earlier. "Have fun Jiraiya~sama." Naruto said tauntingly.
"GET HIM!" The Kunoichi yelled. After a five minute beating, Jiraiya lays on the ground on his back. He looks up and sees a smirking Uchiha and Namikaze.
"H-how?" Jiraiya asked.
"Well..." Sasuke replied. Sasuke started telling Jiraiya what happened.
Flashback before 'Naruko' entered the Ramen Stand
"Naruto! There's Jiraiya!" Sasuke said as he pointed at the toad sage. The boys got in a bush.
"Want to prank him?" Naruto asked. "I mean he clearly left us behind so we get beat for his actions. Want to teach him a lesson?" Naruto asked quietly.
"What did you have in mind?" Sasuke suspiciously asked.
"Well he is a pervert. What if I transformed into a smoking hot babe and then lure him to the Hot Springs, only for you to gather the Kunoichis from earlier or whoever you can that isn't fond of peepers?" Naruto asked the other boy.
"Hn. Sounds like it could be perfect revenge." Sasuke stated.
"Alright. I'll give you roughly ten minutes. Meet you at the hot springs." Naruto said as he transformed into a female.
Present
"You little rats set me up!" Jiraiya yelled, still laying on the ground all beaten up.
"Well yeah. You were supposed to train us today." Naruto said standing while his arms were crossed. Sasuke looked at Naruto and back at Jiraiya. He closed his and started to talk.
"And instead of doing that you went to go peep on the girls." Sasuke said with a hint of annoyance.
"PEEPING?!" Jiraiya yelled out defensively. "I was not peeping. I was doing research!" Jiraiya stated.
"Research?" Naruto asked. 'What is he babbling on about?' Naruto thought.
"For what?" Sasuke asked wondering what on earth could the Kunoichi bathhouse have for research.
"Well I am glad you asked emo. I am writing my sequel to Icha Icha Paradaisu(Make Out Paradise)!" Jiraiya exclaimed. "I need to keep my creative juices flowing so I can make my best selling book sell more. Pictures included!" The man pulled out a manuscript for his next book. The man pulled the first page out revealing a rough draft for his cover.
Sasuke and Naruto stared at one another with a blank expression, not sure what to think. Naruto then remember something familiar about the design.
"Hey wait a second. Isn't that the book with the green cover?" Naruto asked. He's seen the book around and even read the first three chapters of it himself.
"You're a fan?" Jiraiya enthusiastically asked. He hoped his godson was like himself, a super pervert.
"No, its horrible." Sasuke said before Naruto could answer. Naruto looked at him with a side eye. Sasuke himself had read the book after finding it in his older brother's little bit of belongings. He wanted to find anything on his brother to know where he went. His searched amounted to nothing however.
"How would you know Sasuke?" Naruto asked curiously.
"D-d-don't worry about that idiot!" Sasuke said embarrassed.
"Anyways your book is hot garbage pervy sage." Naruto bluntly stated.
"Pervy Sage?" Jiraiya questioned. 'Oh no. Don't tell me he took after Kushina with giving people nicknames!' Jiraiya thought.
"Yeah because you're apparently a toad sage and you're a massive perv." Naruto simply said.
"I guess I won't be training you in a Killer Jutsu then." Jiraiya said. He knew this would make the two kids be immediately sorry.
Sasuke went wide eyed. "He apologizes Lord Jiraiya!" Sasuke said quickly. He couldn't allow this opportunity to pass him up.
"Your friend is bright Naruto," Jiraiya stated. The man finally stood up and dusted himself. "Pull a stunt like that again though and I'll have to beat you both up." The man said with a hearty chuckle. Jiraiya took a serious face, "So training huh? Okay so since it's late right now I'll meet you both at that ramen stand tomorrow in the morning. You could also consider tracking me and this little prank as training too." The two boys nodded in agreement.
Unknown Location
"Have you found any tabs on the traitor?" Someone asked.
"nO. hE MOves QuickLY fROm baSE TO bAse." A creature stated.
"Hmm should've known he would do such a thing." The man replied.
"HE haS MAde THRee triPS to KUmo, SUNa, AND Iwa." The creatire stated. The man he told looked curiously.
"Do we known why?" The man asked.
"HE hAS talKED to THE KaGeS oF eAcH vILLAge. HE is PrObAbLY giViNG iNTEl oN uS." The creature told.
"Should have Pain deal with him. No matter. He Hardly knows of our true goal. Now what about that young blonde I told you to watch?" The man asked.
"ITAchi, SAsoRI, aND KAKuZU are APProaCHING hIM aS we SPEak." The creature told the man.
"Good. We should be able to make our first move within a year!" The man stated.
So, I just want to be clear on something's here. I've seen multiple stories where Naruto takes his training and life as a ninja serious and people say that "you're just making him Sasuke. Or someone else" while that isn't entirely true it's not false either. In TenTen's dream world, Menma Namikaze is vastly different from Naruto Uzumaki even though they are THE SAME PERSON. In my fanfiction, my Naruto is in the middle between Menma and Naruto. The link I'm adding will take you directly to Menma Namikaze's page on Naruto Fandom. The mast difference here is Naruto is coming to terms that he is the Fourth Hokage's son and that this information was hidden from him and he was treated like garbage. His main conflict here will be whether he overcomes this conflict to come to the light or give into his darkness. Hence the title name. I do like a good debate though so, I would like to read your take on this with the information provided. Naruto is not a prodigy genius. He's a prodigy of hard work. Naruto won't be a godly here. He will take his fair share of losses. Also the Akatsuki have started their plan. So thank you for reading my story and I'll see you in the next one.
