Thanks for the reviews last chapter. I hope you all enjoy this one.

Santana shows the doctor out before returning to the living room. She sits next to the blonde, wrapping her arms around her.

"I'm so glad that nothing is seriously wrong." Santana says. "How are you mentally?" she asks.

"I'm going to need you here for the next few days. I'll let you know if I need to talk about it." Brittany says.

"Okay, just know I'm here for you." Santana says. "Now I think I owe you an explanation."

"You did promise." Brittany says sitting up to look at Santana.

She knows she needs to tell San that she's pregnant, but that will have to wait until after Santana explains everything. She's nervous both for the explanation and for telling Santana. They haven't talked about kids yet which makes her nervous.

"This is something I should have told you a long time ago. You have to understand that because you didn't know who I was, it was nice not to be judged on my family, but instead on me. Just me." Santana rambles.

"Of course, I like you." Brittany reassuringly says. "I love you."

"Thanks Britt, I hope you still do after I finish telling you everything. I need you to let me get this all out okay." Santana says.

"Okay," Brittany says.

She waits as Santana takes a few deep breaths.

"I've been vague about what my family does and just saying I have meetings so I'm not exactly lying but also not telling the truth. I never want to lie to you unless it's for a surprise of some kind of you." Santana starts. "My family is the most powerful mob family in Vegas and Nevada."

Brittany blinks several times. This is not something she was expecting.

"I'm sorry I didn't tell you right away. Most people know when they hear the last name Lopez." Santana says. "When you didn't I though it was a blessing."

Brittany nods not sure if Santana is done yet. She's more than a little shocked by this news. While she never suspected, a few things make more sense now.

"I liked that you weren't afraid of my family and just wanted to spend time with me. It's not something I'm used to." Santana continues. "The reason I didn't bring you around my family is that I needed to tell you about this before you met them. All of them are part of the family as we call it. Some more than others."

"San," Brittany starts.

"Hold on Britt, I still have some more to say." Santana says. "My dad is the head of the family. I'm second in command even though I have two older brothers and sisters." she takes a few deep breaths before continuing. "We deal in drugs and guns mostly. There's a few legit businesses and have many on the payroll or we payoff."

Brittany just nods, letting Santana continue as she listens.

"I'm the reason you were taken. If you weren't with me then they never would have taken you." Santana says starting to cry. "I understand if you never want to see me again. I'll just leave you alone." she says getting up and walking to the door.

"San wait," Brittany says groaning as she gets up.

She's very sore from her injuries, but doesn't want Santana to leave so she's dealing with the pain.

"I don't want you to leave. Please come back." Brittany says reading for her.

"Okay," Santana says following Brittany back to the couch.

She thinks this is a good sign that Brittany doesn't want her to leave.

"I have a lot of questions." Brittany says.

"I'll answer all of them." Santana promises.

Brittany is still processing all this information. She's not really in shock anymore. But there's one thing she does know, she still cares deeply for Santana. Plus, she still has to tell Santana that they're going to have a baby.

"When you were hurt after I came back from MIT." Brittany starts.

"I was shot twice by a drug dealer we were pushing out. I managed to kill him." Santana tells her.

"Oh San," Brittany says wrapping her arms around her girlfriend. "You're not still hurt, are you?" she asks.

"No, I'm all healed up." Santana says.

She rolls up her pant leg to show Brittany the healed wound along with the one on her arm.

"San," Brittany whispers touching the scars. "I want you to tell me everything."

"Always," Santana promises.

She's very hopeful with how Brittany is talking and acting.

"Did your family handle the kidnappers?" Brittany asks.

"Yes, they're pissed that they would do this to someone I care about." Santana says. "You never have to worry about them again."

"Thank you, San." Brittany says. "Will your family like me?"

"My mami is thrilled, she's wanted me to settle down for a while and find a nice girl. They all just want me happy and could see how happy you make me. What my mami thinks, the rest of the family will follow." Santana says. "They really want to meet you."

"I'd like that too." Brittany says. "I have more questions, but before I ask them, I have to tell you. That I want to be with you still. None of this has changed how I feel about you. I love you."

"Thank god," Santana sighs.

Brittany kisses her, cupping her face.

"I was nervous that you'd leave." Santana says so relieved that Brittany isn't going to leave her and still loves her.

"I wish you would have told me sooner, but I understand and am just glad you told me now." Brittany says. "I'd never leave you because of your family and what you do. All you've done is protect me."

"You're amazing." Santana sighs.

"What exactly do you do?" Brittany asks.

"Well being the second-in-command, I have my hands in nearly everything. When my dad meets up with the other mob family heads, I'm there. I help oversee everything. While my dad is the one who pays off cops and other law enforcement, pays doctors, lawyers and various other professionals we might need. I handle more of the business both legal and illegal. Yes, I am involved with drugs and guns but I'm not one of the dealers or do drugs." Santana says.

"So, I'm dating a badass boss of a mob family." Brittany says all smiles.

"Yes, you are." Santana says.

Brittany yawns, she's exhausted from everything that happened and that she's pregnant.

"Come on let's get you ready for bed and we can continue to talk." Santana says helping her up.

"It's been a long day." Brittany yawns, agreeing.

"It sure has," Santana says wrapping her arms around Brittany, needing to feel the blonde in her arms.

This whole day has been the worst. She can't believe someone hurt Brittany on her watch. At least now Brittany knows who she is and still wants her. She can't see herself with anyone else.

"Can you tell me more about your family? We haven't talked much about them, though now I understand why." Brittany says as they get in bed.

"Of course," Santana says. "My parents fell in love in high school. They've been married for forty-five years. My mami, Maria has been the driving force in the family keeping us all on task. My dad's family was small fish in the mob families. With my mami's help, our family quickly rose to being a big player. My dad made a few timely moves to take the top spot. We've held it my whole life." she tells Brittany.

"They sound like quite a match." Brittany says loving to hear about Santana's family.

"They sure are," Santana agrees. "My oldest sibling is my brother Antonio who is forty. His wife is Dawn and they have three kids, Anita who is nine, Mario Jr. who is six and Carlos who is two. Antonio and I work together a lot. Dawn takes care of the kids, but helps when needed. My next sibling is my brother José who's thirty-six. He got married a year and a half ago to a lovely woman Katherine and they have a three-month-old son, Derek. I also work a lot with José. Katherine is a teacher." she says pausing before continuing. "Christina my oldest sister and is thirty-four. She's married to a man named Sterling; they have two kids. Gabrielle who is eight and Jane who is seven. I'm closest to Christina. She works in the background more for the family. Sterling is a cop, who helps us a lot. My next sibling is my sister Amelia. She's thirty-three and married to a lovely woman Louise. They have two kids they adopted, Maddy and Diana who are eleven-year-old twins. Amelia runs our night club with her wife. Finally, we have my younger brother Diego who's twenty-five and just married Asia, obviously. I'm not sure what Asia does, but Diego is our tech guy." she says looking at Brittany. "That's my family. In one way or another, everyone works for the family."

"You're family is huge." Brittany says surprised at how big it is.

"That doesn't even include my three uncles and two aunts." Santana says.

"Do you think they'll all like me?" Brittany nervously asks.

"They'll love you." Santana reassures her. "They all helped me find you."

Brittany nods, yawning.

"Go to sleep babe, I'll be right here when you wake up." Santana says brushing so hair out of her face.

"I have something I need to tell you." Brittany says.

"It can wait till morning. You've had a long, stressful day." Santana says.

Brittany mumbles something but falls asleep. Santana is content to just watch her sleep. She's so relieved that she found Brittany relatively safe and sound. That the men didn't rape her. She doesn't know what she would do if that had happened. She pulls Brittany into her, just holding onto her, breathing in her calming scent.

"I'll never let anything happen to you again." Santana whispers falling asleep.

The next morning, Santana wakes up first. She quickly gets up to pee, hoping that she can get back before Brittany wakes up.

"San," Brittany mumbles.

"Right here," Santana says sliding back into bed.

Brittany mumbles something, falling back asleep on top of Santana. Santana just holds her awake for the next hour until Brittany wakes up.

"Morning," Santana says giving her a peck on the lips.

"Hey San," Brittany says waking herself up. "I have something I need to tell you."

"Whatever it is, I'm sure it can wait-"

"San, this is important." Brittany says cutting her off.

"Okay, what is it?" Santana asks.

"I'm pregnant," Brittany says. "The doctor told me yesterday when you were out of the room."
