Sorry for taking so long, I'll try to post the next one sooner.
Santana with José and Antonio have three cartel members cornered.
"We haven't done anything against you." one of the cartel members says.
"And we're not going to hurt you, we're just here to make sure you don't go back on your word." Santana says as Antonio and José crack their knuckles.
The three cartel members pale at this.
"You will buy drugs from us and sell the guns we ask you to." Santana says glaring at them.
Before she can do anything else, her text tone for Brittany chimes. Not one to keep her fiancé waiting, Santana looks at it immediately.
From Britt Britt: Remember I have my prenatal check up in a half hour.
To Britt Britt: Heading home to pick you up now.
"You two can handle this right?" Santana asks her brothers.
"Of course," José says.
"Go do what you need to do." Antonio says.
Neither man asks why, knowing it must be important for Santana to leave in the middle of business.
Santana nods, she heads back to her truck. She's excited and nervous. They're going to find out the gender of the baby hopefully today. She wishes she didn't have to leave early, but she'll do anything for Brittany and their unborn baby. When she reaches her truck, one of their drug dealers is standing next to it.
"I need some help boss." he says.
"Can it wait, I have to be somewhere." Santana says.
"Some of us are being hassled while selling." the drug dealer says.
"José and Antonio are down the alley, they can help." Santana says pointing where she just came from.
"Thanks boss," the drug dealer says.
Santana quickly gets in her truck before she runs into anyone else. She may have broken several speed limits to get back home.
"Britt, I'm back." Santana shouts opening the door.
"In the bedroom!" Brittany shouts.
Santana kicks her boots off and heads back. Her mouth drops open when she sees Brittany standing there in just her underwear.
"God Britt, you are sexy." Santana says drooling.
Brittany just blushes, putting on a sundress.
"I'd so take you right now if we didn't have the appointment in twenty minutes." Santana says wrapping her arms around Brittany's waist.
"San," Brittany says turning in her arms, giving her a kiss. "Your friend down there is excited."
"I can't help it, you're very sexy." Santana says kissing her back.
"You'll need to make that go away unless you want to walk around with a boner." Brittany says cupping her face.
"If you leave me alone for a minute then it will go away." Santana says.
Brittany heads out to put on her shoes and coat. Santana thinks of dead things to get rid of her boner. Once she's calmed down, she heads out to the living room.
"Ready?" Santana asks.
"Are you?" Brittany asks back.
"I am," Santana says wrapping her arm around Brittany.
She keeps her close as they walk down to the truck.
"We're taking your truck today?" Brittany says a little surprised.
Normally they don't take the truck as Santana uses it mostly for work.
"The SUV is in the shop." Santana says.
She helps Brittany up in the truck before getting in herself.
"Do you think everything will be okay?" Brittany asks Santana nervous that she might be doing something wrong.
"Everything will be fine; Doctor Sue has delivered all the babies in the family." Santana reassures her.
"I just worry I'm doing something wrong." Brittany says.
"You're not, trust me." Santana says taking her hand and kissing it.
"Okay," Brittany sighs.
The pair is quiet for the rest of the drive. Santana keeps their fingers laced together. She wants to reassure Brittany that she is here for her. Parking at the office, they stay seated in the truck for a few minutes.
"We should go in." Brittany says making no move to move.
"Do you want me to have them come to the apartment instead?" Santana asks squeezing Brittany's hand.
"No, let's go in." Brittany says.
Santana jumps out and rushes to Brittany's side, opening the door. She helps her out, wrapping her arm around her. Walking into the building, Santana keeps Brittany snuggled against her.
"We're here for Brittany Pierce's appointment." Santana tells the receptionist.
"I'll get you checked in; a nurse will be out shortly for you." she tells Santana.
"Thank you," Santana says directing Brittany to a loveseat.
The pair doesn't have to wait long before a nurse is calling them back.
"Brittany Pierce," a nice-looking older nurse says.
"That's me," Brittany says standing up.
Santana stands up as well.
"And you must be the significant other." the nurse says.
Everyone in the office knows about the Lopez family and who they are.
"I am," Santana says.
"No issues, just a check up on the pregnancy?" the nurse asks as she leads them back.
"She'll behave," Brittany says used to others reaction to Santana being a Lopez.
"Well, let's check your vials before the doctor comes in." the nurse says.
She takes them all down and leaves, promising the doctor will be in, in a few minutes.
"See everything is going well." Santana says wrapping her arms around Brittany.
"I'll feel better once the doctor takes a look." Brittany says.
"Well, I can't wait to see our baby." Santana says placing her hand on Brittany's belly.
"Ladies," Doctor Sue says coming in. "I see you finally found someone Santana." she says.
"I did, this is my fiancé, Brittany." Santana says squeezing Brittany.
"It's nice to meet you, Brittany." Doctor Sue says. "Hopefully this one here is treating you like a queen since you're carrying her spawn."
"I am," Santana says at the same time Brittany says. "She is."
"That's good," Doctor Sue says. "All your labs look normal. So, let's get to the ultrasound. Hopefully, we can tell the gender and hear the heartbeat. Before that do you have any questions?"
"Is there anything I shouldn't do?" Brittany asks.
"It's mostly common sense, take it easy, let Santana here do all the heavy lifting." Doctor Sue says. "And before you ask, you can have set still."
It's the one question that nearly every couple asks.
Santana blushes and Brittany just nods.
"Now, I need to check you and then we'll listen for the heartbeat and do the ultrasound." Doctor Sue says.
Brittany gets up and puts her feet in the syrups. Santana glares at Doctor Sue as she examines Brittany. Santana doesn't like it but swallows her objections.
"Everything is looking good." Doctor Sue says. "Now this gel is going to be cold. Lift up your shirt."
Brittany lifts her shirt up. Santana moves next to Brittany, taking her hand. Brittany winces a bit at the cold of the gel.
"Okay, let's see what's up." Doctor Sue says.
She puts the wand on Brittany's belly and instantly there's a whooshing sound.
"Is that?" Santana asks gripping Brittany's hand.
Brittany gulps, tears forming.
"That is your baby's heartbeat." Doctor Sue says. "It's strong."
"Wow," Brittany says.
"And now let's see you baby." Doctor Sue says moving the wand around.
"San," Brittany says pointing to the monitor.
"This is your baby." Doctor Sue says looking over at them. "Do you want to know the gender?" she asks.
"Yes," they both say.
"You are having…..a baby girl." Doctor Sue says.
"A girl," Santana says in disbelief.
This just became more real to her. They're going to have a baby girl.
"We're going to have a daughter San." Brittany says looking up at her.
"I know, I can't believe it. We're going to have a daughter." Santana says smiling.
"Well ladies, everything is good. I'll see you both in a month." Doctor Sue says.
"Thank you," Brittany says as Sue gives them a couple print outs and DVD.
"You are very welcome." Doctor Sue says.
"We're having a daughter San." Brittany says as they head out. "It feels more real now, right?" she says looking at Santana.
"I know, it's like I've known your pregnant but now I've seen her it's more than just a concept." Santana says.
She helps Brittany into the truck.
"My parents want to have dinner tonight. They're excited to finally see the baby." Santana says.
"I know, your mom texted me." Brittany says. "She invited the whole family."
"Of course, she did. My crazy family isn't scaring you away or making you nervous, right?" Santana asks still nervous that Brittany will change her mind and leave because of her family business.
"San," Brittany sighs taking her hand. "I love your crazy family. Nothing is going to scare me away."
"Okay," Santana says relaxing some.

That night the whole is at the Lopez's house for dinner. Maria wanted everyone there to hear about the baby and congratulate the couple. She's done this every time it's time to find out the gender of a baby.
"How was the doctor's?" Asia asks Brittany.
"Good, San got overprotective as normal." Brittany says and everyone chuckles at this.
"Hey!" Santana grumbles.
"She's right though you are overprotective." Christina says.
"Like you aren't." Santana says back.
"You all are," Dawn says to the Lopezs.
"Here's the food," Maria says bringing in steaks, salad and bread. "Dig in."
Soon everyone is quickly eating, acting like they haven't eaten in days. Stuffing food down their throats. Once they are all done, Maria looks at Santana and Brittany.
"Just tell mami so she can settle down." Amelia says to Santana.
Santana looks at Brittany to see what she thinks.
"San, mami is about to burst, she wants to know." Antonio adds.
"Your mom has been excited about this news all day." Mario adds.
"Britt, do you want to tell them?" Santana asks.
"Here's our first sonogram." Brittany says passing the copies around.
All the women ooooh at them while the guys just nod.
"And?" Maria asks looking at them.
"We're having a girl." Brittany announces.
"Congratulations!"
"Wow!"
"So cool!"
"Another for team girl!"
"We're so happy for you!"
Everyone hugs them and is congratulating them.
"I'm so happy for you." Asia says hugging Brittany.
"Thanks, we're very happy." Brittany says.
"I'm proud of you sis, you've got your family now." José says.
"I know, it all feels more real now that I've seen the baby." Santana says.
Slowly everyone leaves until it's only Mario, Maria, Brittany and Santana left.
"I'm very happy for you both. You know I'm excited to have another granddaughter." Maria says as she sees them out.
"We're very happy too." Santana says smiling at her mom.
"If you need anything, let us know." Mario tells them both.
"Make sure that her bachelorette party next week isn't too crazy." Brittany says hugging him.
"I can't believe the wedding is only a week away." Mario says.
"Oh, I know," Santana says.
"Tomorrow, we'll finish the last few things for the wedding." Maria says.
"Can't wait,"
They head out, Santana smiling as Brittany falls asleep on the ride back. Not wanting to wake up Brittany, Santana lifts her up, in her arms. She heads up to the apartment, nodding to the security guys she still has posted outside for protection.
"San," Brittany grumbles as Santana tries to unlock the door.
Brittany has been awake the whole time but wanted Santana to carry her up.
"Shh, just sleep Britt." Santana whispers.
She readjusts her grip as she carries Brittany back to their room. She puts her down and is about to pull away when Brittany stops her.
"Come here," Brittany says kissing her.
"You're awake?" Santana says.
"I want you."
"Oh fuck."
