Summary: 20 contestants battle it out on a private resort in a tropical paradise hosted by the amazing Chris McLean, and his assistant, Chef Hatchet. In a brand new season of twists and turns, who will walk away with the prize?
We don't owe Total Drama, only our OCs.
Fantastic Flamingos: Joseph, Abigail, Brittany, Christopher, Jerusha, Fernando, Dante, and Lucille
Pretty Peacocks: Rebekah, Ilyria, Lin, Butch, Walter, Antonio, Shauna, and Demetrius
"Last time on Total Drama Hawaiian Resort…" Chris would begin the famous recap.
"Our contestants were hidden in crates around the resort, which meant that their captain, plus one member of their team, had to search for them! Joseph and Lucille were assigned to work together to find their teammates, while on the Peacocks side, Trish and Rebekah were assigned to work together."
"Shockingly enough, Demetrius was able to get another ally in Butch with his hypnotism skills. Something is really up with that man," Alexis continued.
"While the Peacocks lost the challenge, we announced a twist where the Flamingos got to join in on the voting process, and in the end, it was the posh girl Trish who got the boot, in an 11 to 6 vote."
"We're down to 16 contestants, and after today, we'll be down to 15! Who'll be the next to leave? Find out on this dramatic episode of Total…" Chris began.
"Drama…" Alexis continued.
"HAWAIIAN RESORT!" the two let out at the same time.
Dear Mom and Dad I'm doing fine,
You guys are on my mind.
You asked me what I wanted to be
and now I think the answer is plain to see,
I wanna be famous.
I wanna live close to the sun,
Go pack your bags, 'cause I've already won,
Everything to prove, nothing in my way
I'll get there one day.
Cause, I wanna be famous!
Na na na na na na na na na na na na na na na!
I wanna be, I wanna be, I wanna be famous
Na na na na na na na na na na na na na na na! (as can be heard in the background)
I wanna be, I wanna be, I wanna be famous
(Whistling in tune)
Episode 6: A Masterchef Challenge
It was a brand new day in Hawaii. The contestants remaining in the competition were sleeping, until a loud announcement from Chris would rock them awake.
"WAKE UP CONTESTANTS! IT'S TIME FOR ANOTHER CHALLENGE! MAKE YOUR WAY DOWN TO THE DINING HALL ASAP! MCLEAN OUT!" Chris announced.
Pretty Peacocks (Rebekah and Trish)
Rebekah winced at the announcement, before glancing at her roommate. "Just so you know, I didn't vote for you yesterday," she said.
"It's fine…" Trish sighed, smiling at her roommate. "That's how the game goes, right? Would have been nice to go a bit further though."
"Yeah," Rebekah sighed. "I'm shocked you got the boot though." She stretched her arms over her head, before waving goodbye to the posh girl, making her way down to the dining hall.
(Walter and Demetrius)
"Well. It's time for another challenge," Demetrius glanced over at his roommate.
"Indeed it is. Let's hope our performance is better than last time's."
"I mean, we were so close. But just by the slip of the tongue, we lost," Demetrius scowled, clenching his fist. "But anyway, we're going to win this time. I just know of it."
"But if we want to succeed we must need proper discipline, we must work as a team!"
"If only we had the luck of Cleopatra…maybe she could help us win," Demetrius said, looking over at his roommate. Walter fell silent as he looked over at his roommate.
"How can I be of service, Master?" He asked, his voice lifeless and dull.
"I'm thinking we might need some allies on the opposing team…perhaps those magicians…" Demetrius smirked a little. "What do you think?"
"Any idea you have is a good idea. But what do they bring to the table?"
"Well, their magic skills can help in the event I need to get more minions. They can help knock them out, without hurting anyone, of course." Demetrius continued.
"I see. Well, Butch and I can do what we can to assist."
"Excellent. Don't forget to tell him this," Demetrius commanded. "Am I clear?"
"Crystal clear." Walter saluted.
"Good. Diamond," Demetrius said. Walter shook his head as if to get himself out of a daze before looking at his roommate again.
"Hmm, did something happen?" He asked.
"No, nothing that I can remember," Demetrius hid a wicked smile. "Anyway, let's get going. We can't keep the host waiting."
(Butch and Antonio)
The soccer player would be ready for the day, heading to the door. "Ready to go, Butch?" he asked his roommate.
"More or less." The brute grumbled with a stretch. "Can't wait to get something to eat."
"Oh?" Antonio raised an eyebrow. "I heard from a little bird you were snogging with Ilyria yesterday."
"Hey, she kissed me! I was just minding my own business and trying to get us out of that box!"
"Which you couldn't," Antonio grinned a little. "Aren't you supposed to be strong?"
"I am strong!" Butch asserted, grabbing Antonio by his shirt collar and lifting him off the ground. "Are you saying I'm not?!"
"Whoa, whoa! Chill out, I'm only trying to have fun with you!" the soccer player let out. Butch grimaced at the boy before putting him back down and walking away.
Antonio sighed as he would head down to the dining hall.
Shauna and Ilyria
Ilyria tied her black hair into its signature bun, as her roommate was getting ready, she gave Ilyria a knowing smile.
"What?" Ilyria asked.
"Oh nothing~!" Shauna replied with a giggle. "I just heard you and Butch had a moment in the last challenge!"
Ilyria huffed. "That git was annoying me, I had to do something to get him to quiet down." Her response only made Shauna laugh harder.
"So you decided to kiss him?"
"Yes," Ilyria let out. "And he was also acting odd last night before the elimination ceremony."
"Does he ever not act odd?" Shauna wondered.
"No, but literally. I asked him why he chose to vote off Trish, and he said that 'something in the back of his head was telling him to vote off Trish.' I found it pretty suspicious, considering he did vote for Demetrius the last time we lost," the spy continued. "Something is up with that boy, and I intend to find out what that is." She would soon finish getting ready. "Come on, let's go." She would head to the door, the dancer following close behind.
Lin and Terra
"Lin Liiiiiin!" Terra whined, shaking her teammate as she tried to get ready.
"What? What's the problem?!" The shorter girl replied.
"You could have been voted off last night!"
"But I wasn't. I'm not in any danger." Lin sighed, brushing her hair for a moment before it somehow returned to its usual messy look.
"And that's because you haven't really done anything since, like, the first challenge!" Lin stopped for a moment, absorbing what her roommate had just said. "Meanwhile, Demetrius is out here making plays like no tomorrow!"
"What do you mean by that?" Lin raised an eyebrow as she turned to the clown.
"Well, you and Butch voted for him back at the first ceremony, now he and Butch definitely voted together to take out Trish. Pretty sure Walter's involved, too."
"How… where are you getting this from?"
"I saw how they were acting and talking to each other last night and when they found me during the challenge. Something's up with them!"
The smaller girl was silent as she processed all of this before heading towards the door. "I'll keep all of this in mind. Don't worry about me though, I plan on making sure we win this next challenge."
"Woo, Lin Lin for the win win!"
Fantastic Flamingos (Lucille and Jerusha)
"So, tell me? How did it feel kissing Christopher?" Lucille asked her roommate as she was getting ready for the upcoming challenge.
"It felt… nice!" Jerusha blushed. "I'm not sure how to properly explain it, but I guess it felt natural?"
Lucille groaned. "I wonder when Joseph and I will get to that point…" she let out.
"Oh? You feel that strongly about him?" The magician prodded, raising an eyebrow as she smirked.
"I do," Lucille blushed as she nodded. "I really do."
"Then you should tell him! I'm sure he's only harsh on the outside, and on the inside he's like a big 'ol teddy bear!"
"You really think so?" Lucille asked.
"Maybe! But there's no way of knowing unless you try!"
"I think I'm gonna go see him before the challenge begins," Lucille said. "Are you gonna see Christopher?"
"Of course!"
"Well…wish me luck," Lucille took a deep breath, before heading out of the room to go find the team captain.
Joseph and Dante?
Lucille would soon approach the room where the captain was staying, knocking on the door. Dante opened the door, though Lucille couldn't help but notice something… off about him.
"Oh…I'm sorry…I just wanted to talk to Joseph before the challenge…" Lucille let out, a bit concerned about her teammate's eyes.
"Hey, Captain, it's for you." Dante replied, his eyes locked on the handicapped girl before walking away. Joseph approached the door, giving his roommate a wary glance.
"What did you need?" He asked.
"Well…I wanted to tell you something…" Lucille began. "I like you, a lot. And I know, you can be strict…but something about you makes me feel safe. I know, you want to focus on the game…but perhaps maybe after the game…we could try this relationship thing?"
"This is a really sudden thing to bring up." Joseph replied.
"Oh…" Lucille looked down at the ground a little.
"Look, let's just head down for breakfast for now. I'll give you a proper answer later, alright?"
"Yeah…of course," Lucille responded quietly, without a word, Joseph grabbed Lucille's wheelchair and wheeled her over to the elevator. "T-thanks, but I can do this myself, you know…" she looked up at him.
"I know." Joseph replied, giving the girl a small smile. "But even you need to relax for a bit."
Lucille felt her heart flutter a bit as the elevator doors opened, right before they closed; however, they opened again as Dante prevented them from closing and joined them inside. The two couldn't explain why, but they felt a shiver down their spine as Dante stood beside them, as if the very air itself seemed to grow colder. The silence was unnaturally tense as well, only broken by the 'ding' of the elevator as it reached the ground floor, allowing Dante to be the first to exit.
Lucille shivered a little at the tension, but managed to put her hands on her wheels, pushing herself out of the elevator.
"I've been watching him closely since the challenge ended yesterday. Something's off with him."
"You think so?" Lucille asked.
"I know so. When he first got switched to this team, he was shy and awkward around us. Now he just has this ominous air around him."
"Oh my…and Abigail also has feelings for him too…" Lucille let out. "She must be really confused, dealing with both Fernando and Dante…poor girl…and she's struggling on what to do with her own mother…"
"That's something she'll have to worry about. We have to focus on the game."
"Yeah," Lucille let out.
Fernando and Miguel
The movie star would be brushing his teeth. "Well, good luck today with the challenge," he let out.
"Oh, we don't need luck. With our skills this next challenge is sure to end with another victory!"
"Sure, sure," the movie star let out. "And besides, you already have a hot girl on your arms. Perhaps I might talk with Trish when we're at the pool." He finished brushing his teeth. "What do you plan on doing after the challenge today?"
"I might spend some more time with her. Aside from that, I believe Dante and I need to have a little talk."
"Oh?" Miguel raised an eyebrow. "Why's that?"
"Well, he and I have settled our little 'rivalry' over Abigail, I was hoping to talk to him about my plan."
Miguel was confused at this. "I see…" he let out.
"Are you not curious to know what the plan is?"
"I'm no longer competing, so why should I care?" the movie star asked. "You do whatever."
"Hmph, fine. I suppose I shall!"
Abigail
The former child star hadn't gotten a chance to speak with her roommate this morning, as she had taken Avalanche out to go to the bathroom. She was already making her way to the elevator, her hair still braided, but she wore something different compared to what she normally wore. This morning, however, she wore a t-shirt with Shawn Mendes' face on it, and the list of his tour dates on the back of this shirt, a pair of blue jeans, white socks, and white running shoes. She yawned as she approached the elevator. She would press the button to go down to the ground floor, entering it when the doors opened.
Christopher and Spikke
The two roommates were chatting as the magician was getting ready for the challenge.
"I'm really glad you're okay," Christopher let out.
"Thanks to those doctors," Spikke smiled. "Sucks that I can't rejoin the competition, but oh well, I don't mind."
"I suppose. You've missed quite a lot," Christopher continued.
"Oh?" Spikke asked.
"For one, me and Jerusha kissed," the magician blushed.
"Well well, it's about time," Spikke grinned.
"Thanks," Christopher smiled. "How about you?"
"I haven't found that special someone yet," the Greek man pouted.
"Aww, I'm sorry," Christopher frowned.
"No, it's okay, I'll live," Spikke insisted.
"I promised I'd walk Jerusha down to the dining hall. Have fun up here," Christopher let out.
"I will," the Greek man let out, watching his roommate leave.
Dining Hall (Both Teams)
Breakfast would be served as a couple of interns would bring in two large crates: one with the Peacock logo, and the other with the Flamingo logo. There were also aprons on top of the crates: eight pink, and eight teal.
"I think we're gonna be cooking," Lucille let out, a little nervous.
"Simple enough," the mob boss let out. "We can handle this."
Silence would soon fall on the dining hall, as Alexis entered. "Chris is allowing me to lead today's challenge," she said. "So I don't want any screw ups today. If I ask you a question, you're gonna either answer with 'Yes, Chef' or 'No, Chef.' AM I CLEAR?!"
"Yes, chef!" Abigail let out, a bit frightened at the young chef's tone of voice. From the kitchen, the co-host's uncle wiped a prideful tear from his eye as he watched his niece with a smile.
"That's my girl!" Chef Hatchet said to himself, Johan backed away just a bit as he tried to avoid getting yelled at next.
"Good. At least one of you can respect me," Alexis smirked. "Now, onto the challenge. It's a team cooking challenge. In these crates are ingredients to cook a three-course meal. They've been divided into three sections: appetizers, entrees, and dessert. I expect top quality for each of the three courses. The losing team will face elimination, but not in the typical Total Drama way," Alexis continued, looking at them all sternly. "It'll be done with a pressure test."
Lucille shivered a bit at the mention of a pressure test.
"Where at least one of you will be eliminated. So, get your aprons on, NOW!" she barked an order.
Abigail would put on her apron, tying it. Lucille would grab her apron, and put it on, however, she struggled a bit with tying it due to being in a wheelchair. Brittany would put on her apron silently, and Christopher tied his apron. Once everyone was ready, the cast all waited for further instruction.
"You'll have 60 minutes to use the ingredients in the appetizer section to create a restaurant quality appetizer. Your sixty minutes starts…NOW!" Alexis shouted, as a giant timer began to count down from one hour.
"Let's move, let's move!" Rebekah shouted at her team, running over to her team's crate.
Demetrius would look in the crate. "I mean, we could make a small soup or salad," he said.
"That's not restaurant quality!" the tomboy let out.
"How about we make some stuffed mushrooms?" Antonio raised his hand.
"Huh. That sounds appetizing," Rebekah nodded. "Let's get to work then. I'll prepare the mushrooms."
"I can grate the parmesan," Ilyria said, glancing at her team.
"I can do the garlic, no problem," Demetrius looked at his team.
"I can cut the parsley," Antonio said.
Rebekah nodded. "Walter, do you mind getting the ingredients for everyone? Lin, can you soften the cream cheese? Butch, can you grind down the pepper? Shauna, can you work on the thyme?" the tomboy asked the rest of her team.
Meanwhile, on the Flamingo team, Abigail would suggest making some bruschetta. "I've had it before, and it's divine, especially when you put some balsamic vinegar on it."
"It does taste good either way," Brittany nodded. "I can handle cutting the tomatoes. We'll also need some Bocconcini to put it on top."
"And parsley or basil," Lucille let out.
"We can't forget about the bread too," Brittany spoke up.
"I guess we should get to work then," Abigail let out.
The team would begin to work on their appetizer, as the clock was ticking down.
"COMMUNICATE PEOPLE! IT'S LIKE A GRAVEYARD IN HERE!" Alexis shouted at both teams.
Lucille nearly jumped at the co-host's loud voice.
"WHAT'S THE STATUS ON THE BOCCONCINI?!" Joseph added, his voice just as loud.
"Almost ready!" Abigail let out, taking it out from the container it was in. She was so focused, making sure that it wasn't bad.
Brittany would be cutting the tomatoes, while Christopher was putting the bread into the oven, making sure that it wouldn't burn. Lucille, meanwhile, would be cutting up the parsley carefully, making sure to not cut any of her fingers off.
"THIRTY MINUTES LEFT PEOPLE, MOVE, MOVE, MOVE!" Alexis shouted at both teams.
"The bocconcini is ready!" Abigail let out.
"The bread's ready too!" Christopher let out, as he used some oven mitts to pull the bread out of the oven.
"I'm finished with the parsley!" Lucille shouted.
"Then let's start preparing to plate our dish!" Brittany yelled. "This has to be perfect!"
"Five minutes left, people! Think about planning on your plating! Don't be like preschoolers!" Alexis yelled, clapping her hands loudly.
Abigail was wincing at the shouting Alexis was doing. "Damn, she's really strict."
"She is Chef Hatchet's niece," Lucille sighed, before looking at what the former child star was wearing. "Wow, you're dressed differently."
Abigail blushed a little. "I don't wear this often. Shawn Mendes is my celebrity crush."
"Any specific reason for the change in outfit?" Jerusha asked.
"I wanted to wear something different compared to what I usually wear. Without my mother here to dictate what I can wear. I'm not gonna wear this for the rest of the competition though. Only every few days," Abigail replied.
"You're sure it's not to impress both boys you have your eye on?" Joseph prodded as he put the bruschetta in the oven to bake.
"I mean, I do have an outfit for that occasion," Abigail smiled sweetly. "It's a bit…revealing."
"You shouldn't be distracting them or yourself." The captain asserted.
"It's not super revealing, don't worry," Abigail replied. "Just a strapless dress that goes down to my knees."
"That's not what I meant…" Joseph sighed, the ding of a nearby cooking timer alerted him to the now fully toasted bread.
"Okay, so there's three different varieties of balsamic vinegar. We've got coffee flavored, blueberry, dark chocolate…" Abigail let out, looking over the three bottles. "Which do you think will work best?"
"Whichever is your favorite, my dear!" Fernando replied with a wink and a grin.
Abigail felt her cheeks flush. "I still think Joseph should decide. He's the leader of this team."
Fernando's eye twitched as he looked over at Joseph, who was rubbing his chin inquisitively as he looked over the varieties.
"Let's go with the coffee flavored one."
"Sounds good to me," Abigail let out, pouring it carefully onto the plate with ease, as Lucille would sprinkle the parsley on top.
On the Peacocks side, Rebekah was working with her team to finish plating the stuffed mushrooms, just as the timer would reach one minute left.
"SIXTY SECONDS, PEOPLE! YOU SHOULD BE NEARLY FINISHED WITH THE PLATING! DON'T BE NASTY PRESCHOOLERS!" Alexis yelled harshly.
"Is it done?" Lin asked.
Rebekah nodded. "It is," she replied, just as the timer would reach zero.
"HANDS UP, EVERYONE, THE APPETIZER ROUND IS OVER!" Alexis shouted. She would inspect both appetizers, tasting a bit from each, before glancing over at both teams.
"The winner of the appetizer round goes to…the Flamingos!"
"Yes!" Lucille cheered.
Abigail grinned over at her team. "Only two more plates to win, and we win the challenge!"
Alexis would look at both teams. "Now, it's time for the entree round. Once again, you'll have sixty minutes to create a restaurant quality entree, using the ingredients that you were given. Your sixty minutes start...NOW!"
With that, both teams would instantly get to work.
Pretty Peacocks
"Okay, what's the plan for the entree round?" Rebekah looked at her team.
"How about a grilled steak and salmon with pesto and blue cheese?" Demetrius asked.
"Isn't it risky to do two kinds of meat?" Antonio asked.
"Hey, ever heard of 'Surf 'n Turf'?" Butch shrugged his shoulders.
"I mean, yeah," Antonio nodded. "But I don't eat salmon."
"Really? You're missin' out!" the brute laughed.
Demetrius narrowed his eyes at the brute. "Now, now, Butch, don't tease our teammate."
"Fine, fine! I was just kidding around with him!"
"You already act like a kid, no need to push it." Lin stated.
"Enough! Let's just get to work. What else can we do? We need some starch and veggies as well," Rebekah let out.
"What about asparagus for our veggies?" Antonio asked, silently thanking Lin for standing up for him.
"Sounds like it'll be fine. Let's go with that!" Shauna chimed in.
"Alright, let's go!" Rebekah would grab the steak, beginning to wash and clean it first. Once that was done, she would begin to season it. Antonio, meanwhile, would wash the salmon, making sure there were no bones in it. Once he did that, he would season the salmon.
Walter handed Demetrius the asparagus, giving him a firm nod as he did so.
"Thank you," Demetrius replied simply, wanting to keep the fact that he had the soldier under his control. He would cut off the ends, before putting in some cooking oil, and beginning to cook them, making sure to add salt as he did so.
From outside of both boy's view, Ilyria kept glancing at the pair with a suspicious look in her eye.
*Confessional*
Ilyria: "Something's bugging me. Demetrius seems to be calm and collected. I know my boss said I need to make sure he doesn't take over the world, but I also have to make sure he doesn't have any minions either. But what if he does? I might need to find some backup…"
*End Confessional*
The spy kept focusing on them, while also remaining on task with what she was assigned to cook during the entree.
"What's with you?"
Ilyria was snapped out of her focus on the boys to find Lin and Shauna looking at her with confusion and a hint of concern.
"I feel that something's up with Demetrius. What if he got some minions or henchmen?" Ilyria asked. "Reason being is because I deal with a lot of hypnosis and brainwashing, and trust me, it's not fun."
"What makes you think he's up to something?" Shauna wondered, glancing at the boys while trying not to draw too much attention to the three girls.
Ilyria glanced at the dancer. "I have a very strong feeling, due to being a spy."
"I mean it kind of makes sense for them to be friendly towards each other though." Lin added. "They're roommates, remember?"
"I suppose…" Ilyria let out. "But still. Something feels fishy."
Lin glanced over at Demetrius again before turning back to the spy. "I heard he's been talking to Butch lately, too. Maybe you ought to look into that."
"Yeah, I should. Butch was really acting odd yesterday after the vote," the spy said, looking at Lin, who simply shrugged.
"I mean he's always been a bit of a dork to me, as nice as he can be sometimes. But I'm just telling you what Terra noticed. If it turns out something's up, thank her."
"Wait, she actually noticed something's up?" Ilyria asked, raising an eyebrow in curiosity.
"She's smarter than a lot of you give her credit for."
"Damn. I shouldn't have been so harsh to her…" Ilyria let out.
"Most of you shouldn't have." The shorter girl stated, giving Ilyria an unreadable look before walking away. Shauna looked at the two in concern before following Lin, tripping again and almost knocking down some ingredients as she went…
Sixty Minutes later….
"TIME!" Alexis shouted, as the timer reached zero. "HANDS UP EVERYONE!" She would look over each entree, tasting a bit from each, before nodding. "The team that wins the entree round is…The Peacocks!"
"That's what I'm talking about!" Rebekah pumped her fist, grinning at her team.
"Both teams are tied. I think I should put a twist on your dessert round. You won't be using the ingredients in your boxes," Alexis began.
Lucille seemed frightened. "What…do you mean, chef?"
"I think…I should make the dessert round…a replication challenge," Alexis smirked.
Abigail groaned hearing this.
"And that means… what exactly?" 'Dante' asked.
Alexis would reveal a chocolate lava cake. "I want you guys to come up and taste this. Not only will you be replicating this dish by appearance…you'll also be doing it by taste too."
"Oh my god, that's gonna be so difficult," Lucille let out.
Rebekah swore under her breath. "Damn," she let out.
"Bloody hell…" Ilyria would agree. A loud thumping sound from the outside caught everyone's attention, as they turned to see the source of the sound everyone saw Terra and Trish practically drooling at the sight of the cake. The clown clawed at the window like a dog forced to stay outside.
"Someone, please get those two under control!" Alexis yelled.
"We're on it…" Johan sighed, doing a double-take as he noticed Chef with a hose.
"NO!" The large man shouted at the two. "BAD GIRLS, GET BACK!" As he turned on the hose, the two onlookers ran back over to the Pool, Terra hissing at the man as she was splashed.
"Was the hose really necessary?" The musician asked.
"No, but it was fun!"
Alexis turned her attention back to the group. "Well? Go on and taste it," she said. Butch grimaced as he approached the cake, taking the smallest spoon available and forcing it into his mouth. Reluctantly, he swallowed the treat, earning a confused look from the chef.
"Well?" Alexis asked.
"Nah, can't do it." Butch replied, shaking his head. "Not a fan of sweets."
"Not even homemade? I made it myself," Alexis glanced at him, scoffing ever so slightly.
"Nope. Not my thing."
"Your loss," the chef shrugged, looking over at everyone else.
Lucille would wheel over and tried a bite. "Oh my goodness, this is heavenly! You all have to try it!"
With a bit of excitement growing in her, Abigail grabbed Fernando and Dante's hands and brought them over to the cake, getting a spoon for herself. As she tasted it, her face immediately lit up.
"This is so good! You have to try this!" she grinned at both boys.
"Well, if you insist, my dear!" Fernando replied, taking his own spoon and smiling at the decadence of the cake. 'Dante' however, grimaced noticeably as he took his spoon, forcing a smile as he ate a portion.
"Mmm, it's… great…" He lied.
"Just great?" Alexis raised an eyebrow.
"Yeah… great…"
*Confessional*
Damiano: "I'm with that twit on this one. I don't like sweet foods, yet Dante can't get enough of them. It's odd, my tastes are essentially the opposite of his own."
*End confessional*
"What did you think, Fernando?" Abigail asked the male model.
"Such rich decadence, I'm not surprised you enjoyed it so much."
"Joseph, come and try this!" Lucille called out to the captain, getting a spoonful for him. The team captain silently took the spoon and tried it, making sure to savor and pay attention to the taste, though staying silent.
Once everyone had a bite, Alexis would direct them back to their cooking stations, where all the ingredients that she used would be laid out for them. "You guys have 90 minutes to replicate this dish," she said.
"Well, at least she's giving us more time," Ilyria let out.
"Yeah, but it really depends on how we use that extra time." Lin noted, Rebekah nodded in agreement.
"Your ninety minutes start…NOW!" Alexis shouted, as the timer began to count down.
Fantastic Flamingos
"Okay, let's do this guys," Abigail looked at her team. "I really don't want to lose today."
"The cake was sweet, but not too sweet." Joseph noted. "She probably used dark chocolate with some heavy cream."
"Then we'll have to make sure to incorporate it into the dish," Brittany nodded. "Let's get to work."
Pretty Peacocks
"Okay guys, let's start with analyzing the taste as we cook this," Rebekah said. "I want to win this round, and show those nasty Flamingos that we can't be messed with."
"I agree," Demetrius nodded.
"Yeah, we'll win this!" Shauna cheered before hurrying to get the ingredients, tripping on herself yet again.
"Shauna, are you okay?" Antonio asked.
"I'm okay!" The dancer replied, regaining her footing and making sure none of the ingredients spilled.
"Oh, thank goodness!" the soccer player let out.
"Careful now, one wrong move and we won't even be able to make this stupid thing." Butch warned.
"It is not stupid, you bloody git," Ilyria glared at him.
"Whatever, let's just get this done!"
Ninety minutes later…
"TIME! HANDS UP EVERYONE!" Alexis shouted, before inspecting both dishes and tasting a bit. Without another word, she would look at both teams.
"This was honestly really difficult. However, the winning team is…
…
…
…
…
…
…
…
…
…
…
…
…
…
…
…Pretty Peacocks!" Alexis announced.
Antonio would cheer, looking over at his team. "We did it!"
"Flamingos, now you have to face the pressure test. However, not all of you will be cooking. Joseph, as the leader, you can choose one teammate to be safe, and they will not have to cook. You can pick yourself, but keep in mind, if you do, you might get some bad looks from your team," Alexis instructed. "Please, make your selection now."
"Rrgh." The captain grumbled, looking over at the rest of his team silently. "I pick Lucille."
The wheelchair bound girl looked surprised, but smiled. "Thanks, Joseph."
"Lucille, take off your apron. Everyone else, please put on the black pressure test aprons behind you," Alexis instructed.
Lucille would take off her apron, glancing over at her team. "Good luck guys," she said, before wheeling away.
"Now, for your pressure test. You'll have to make a sausage dish in 60 minutes. Be warned: if you bring it just a few seconds after 60 minutes are up, you will be eliminated," Alexis warned. "You'll have to make it from scratch."
"Mother of pearl…" Abigail groaned.
"May the best person win," Brittany smirked at her teammates.
"Your sixty minutes start NOW!" Alexis shouted.
Abigail would hurry to her station, along with Christopher, and Brittany, and they would begin to make their sausage. Joseph cracked his knuckles and got to work, calmly getting various different cuts of beef and cutting them up. The two magicians watched everyone and gulped with a bit of fear before they also began working.
Alexis would walk around inspecting them as they were cooking, while Lucille watched safely from the side, along with the Peacocks.
"Man, I am so glad we're not competing in this ridiculous pressure test," Ilyria let out. Demetrius would nod in agreement, before silently looking over at Butch, giving him a silent signal to follow him. The brute raised an eyebrow in confusion before following the hypnotist.
In a secret location…
Demetrius would smirk, snapping his fingers to put Butch back into a trance. "I suppose I should at least give you some tips on seducing that agent. What do you think, minion?"
"I do not want to seduce her, but if you need me to, I will take any advice you can give."
"Very well. Compliments go a long way," Demetrius began. "You have to like what she likes, and tell her how she's the only one who makes you feel like she's the one. Make her feel safe in your arms."
"I understand."
"Good. You'll follow my suggestions in three…two…one." Demetrius snapped his fingers to wake him up.
Back to the pressure test…
Ilyria would be focused on watching the Flamingos cook, not noticing Demetrius and Butch returning. 45 minutes had already passed, leaving only 15 minutes remaining.
Christopher, meanwhile, was struggling a bit with his dish, his sausage falling apart. He swore silently. There wasn't enough time for him to remake it from scratch. He just had to make do with what he had.
Brittany and Abigail's dishes looked really good, the mob boss adding her own Italian twist to it with some tomato sauce drizzled on top. Joseph's dish also looked to be nearly complete, with his sausages cooked to a perfect crisp with some added sauces on the side. Dante and Fernando's both looked rather plain in comparison to most of the others, though still serviceable.
The time was clocking down pretty quickly, but when there were five minutes remaining, Abigail, Brittany and Christopher would bring their finished dishes to a long table with a black tablecloth on it, putting their dishes down. Alexis, her uncle, and Johan all watched the Flamingos wrap up their work with mixed emotions as they looked at the dishes.
Alexis glanced over as she stopped the timer once they were all finished. "Not bad. Now, for the tasting." She would approach each dish, and taste them silently. She didn't speak a word at all as she inspected each dish. Once she finished, she looked at them all.
"The person eliminated tonight is…
…
…
…
…
…
…
…
…Christopher," she revealed.
The male magician sighed as he looked down, disappointed in himself.
"Oh no…" Lucille let out.
"Oh well," Christopher sighed. "It is what it is. It would have been nice to make it further."
Jerusha gasped, tears beginning to well up in her eyes as she rushed over to embrace her fellow magician.
Christopher hugged her back. "My beautiful magician…I want you to try and win for us," he pleaded.
"O-Of course!" Jerusha sniffled.
"Flamingos, please say your goodbyes to Christopher," Alexis said.
Abigail would hug Christopher silently after the two lovebirds pulled away from their embrace. "Take care," she said.
"I will," Christopher nodded.
"See you," Brittany said simply.
"Bye, Christopher," Lucille let out.
Christopher waved to both the mob boss and the wheelchair bound girl, glancing over at Joseph. The Tribal Chief simply shrugged at him before walking away.
Christopher would remove his apron, and return to his room.
Demetrius was silently seething, but had a better idea. He had to wait though. It was still too early to get to Jerusha. 'Perhaps another day…' the man thought silently to himself.
"Well, what a day, am I right, Chris?" Alexis grinned at the host. "I think I did a good job hosting that challenge if I do say so myself. Shall we do the outro?"
"Yeah, all in all I'd say it's been a pretty good day. Let's wrap things up."
"With Christopher out, we're down to 15! Next time, we won't be focusing on our cast, as we actually have a little surprise! This show is getting an aftermath, hosted by Trish's sister, Maria! The last five eliminated contestants will be interviewed by her about their time on the show!" Alexis announced. "How will the first episode of the aftermath go? Stay tuned, for the next dramatic episode of…Total!" she began.
"Drama…!" Chris continued.
"HAWAIIAN RESORT!" the two let out at the same time.

Allureon: Still I do think things are progressing nicely and we've got a lot more in store for later on.
LaViolaViolaRosa: As stated above, we've got an aftermath coming up next, so if you have any questions for the eliminated contestants, please, go right ahead and ask them! We might use them in the chapter, which we hope won't take long to complete. See you in the next update!
