What begins as a fight against a corrupt corporation turns into a struggle for the life of the planet itself. Based on the popular RPG, this is my interpretation of it, fully improvised chapter by chapter from basic notes made from playing the game. Contains violence, rough language, and suggestive themes. Natalie/Lee aka Marin Oakley (she/they) managed to escape the SOLDIER program and land in the Slums under Midgar. They still don't remember who she was before becoming a SOLDIER, while she landed a big job that leads to bigger trouble. Meanwhile their friends on Earth haven't forgotten their friend Marin. And have to work with the enigmatic figure that calls itself 'Ardyn'.

If you can't even trust your own memories, who can you trust?

A normal young man from Earth is taken from his world and dropped into his favorite JRPG. Now, with a new look, a new arm, and new powers, he'll join Cloud and company on their quest to prevent the destruction of the world at the hands of Sephiroth and Jenova. But what is the secret behind his new arm? (Rated M for Blood, Violence, Language, etc.)

Cloud did join Shinra, but he just did his tour and got out. Once discharged, he moved under the plate, earning gil by doing odd jobs and monster hunting in the wastes around Midgar. On this particular day, it wasn't a monster he found, but a shot-to-hell SOLDIER who wasn't quite dead. A story of building a new life, gaining new friends, and a past that isn't quite done. Western AU. Cloud thinks that he found an easy way to make money - all he has to do is deliver supplies and kill some monsters from a nearby town, and get paid handsomely to do so. But things fall apart, and he finds himself sucked back into the high-stakes world of outlaws and old debts that need repaying. He had crawled out of it before... but he's not sure if he can do it again.

Cloud isn't the only one to fail SOLDIER after weeks of boot camp. (Though he is the smallest. And the youngest. And, you know, illegal.) Cloud does not doubt he would be the most hated man in the army, soon to be kicked out, no doubt, if it weren't for one single thing.  Chocobos. Cloud is good with chocobos.

Sephiroth doesn't often get fanmail... or any mail. ShinRa screens more or less every aspect of his life, after all. So when he receives a package, he's understandably curious. He opens it to find... a video game, of all things. Final Fantasy VII? What a useless waste of time... that Hojo would highly disapprove of... Hmm. Perhaps just this once...

Tifa really, really likes Cloud's muscles.

All seems well for the siblings, till the Whispers appear and try to kill Dalia. Now brother and sister must unrevail ShinRa's dark secrets and why Dalia is an anomaly in the eyes of the spectral beings.

Zachary Fair was wild and untamed-a wolf in the form of a human. He was the Alpha Sentinel of Midgar and Cloud Strife - a simple Guide from Nibelheim had no clue what he was getting into when he stepped inside the wolf's den.

The World of Gaia: A world where heroes are forced to be made and legacies are considered death warrants. Cloud Strife and Zack Fair are considered a pair of misfits in such a world. They are inspired to be heroes and set out to save a world where its people are content to live amongst the beast that JENOVA has brought to the land.

And she cries for the woman, who would have been her sister in another life. She rages, she shouts, and she destroys her meagre things. Is this a woman's destiny, she wonders, to sacrifice themselves for the greater good?
