3:30 PM - Earlier in the day

Sun earlier in the day received a phone call on his iPhone from Kellen Allenby, head of Fazbear R&D and creators of the Glamrocks, to come down to the Fazbear HQ building and end his daycare shift at the Pizzaplex early while some staff took over for him for the rest of the day.

Sun was told to check in with reception and then head to the elevator and use his Fazbear robot ID card, a card every sentient robot in the company carries on their person now, to gain access to the buttons in the elevator for the underground levels.

The lanky humanoid robot with a sun for a face, was out of his usual daycare attendant attire and in more casual clothes. The rules Freddy imposed as CEO, of the robots being able to dress casually off hours applied to all robot models in the company not just the glamrocks.

He was wearing a bright orange zip up hoodie with blue jeans and white and orange high top sneakers.

"Huh, must be pretty important if Kellen wants me here at this hour in the middle of daycare hours." Sun said. Sun has never even been to this building before, only heard about it from Freddy and the Glamrocks, along with Gregory and Vanessa mentioning it to him.

Sun made his way into the elevator, pulled his card out of his wallet and waved it in front of the RFID reader, the touchscreen interface on the elevator then changed from a blue background to red with the words "Level 35 Security – high clearance access unlocked" and additional buttons appeared on the screen for the lower levels. Since Freddy took over as CEO, higher levels of security than the Pizzaplex's had been implemented for more of Fazbear's more sensitive buildings.

"Here we go." He pressed the button for B2. The elevator was moving. Instead of the cheery 80's Pizzaplex elevator theme playing in the elevator, HQ had the more jazzy mellow version playing here, often heard by guests in Rockstar Row at the Pizzaplex. The well known jingle had evolved into a jingle for the company as a whole since Freddy became CEO.

Over the past few months since the Pizzaplex incident, Sun's demeanor has evolved, thanks to Fifi Mouse, Cassidy and some of the glamrocks, he's had a chance to experience life outside the daycare. It has broaden his horizons greatly, and as much as he loves the daycare and the fact he no longer is forced to switch to his Moon AI at night thanks to a firmware patch, he feels lonely when he returns to his daycare apartment at the end of day and the glamrocks are too busy to spend time with him. He knows they are not avoiding him, they clearly tell him their schedules are too packed on some days at the Pizzaplex and sincerely do want to fit him in more, but lately things have been hectic for them with the holidays coming up, family matters and some other things that are happening in their lives that they don't seem comfortable enough to discuss with Sun at the moment. Sun knows it's something that is stressing them out but as much as he has offered to lend an ear, they have told him it's nothing for him to worry about hiding their stress behind a smile so as not to make him worry. They do care for Sun and he knows it but, things have felt a little lonely with not many people around to talk to lately. And while Helpy does keep him company having a room next to his, the toddler sized bear animatronic doesn't have a voicebox component to talk yet, nor the wireless communication modules built into the realistic glamrocks or Sun himself, so Sun has to mostly rely on the bear's facial expressions and body language.

"Sigh….it will get better Sun, just wait." Sun told himself.

The elevator brought Sun into a well lit white hallway. The floor was a high tech laboratory, with glass windows along the hallways showing Fazbear lab workers and engineers in their offices, labs and studios, working on the latest Fazbear technology.

They all had smiles on their faces, appearing to truly being proud of the work they are doing.

"Wow…So these are the people that made us?" Sun said taking in the scene.

Another receptionist at the reception desk greeted him warmly and already knew why Sun was here.

"Hello Sun, Kellen is right this way, follow me." The young woman said.

He followed the woman into another room, where Kellen was waiting. Kellen was in his usual business attire and had his glasses on, standing in front of a repair station pod that looks exactly like the one in Parts and Service at the Pizzaplex, but white colored and much brighter. Someone or something was already seated in the chair inside but Sun couldn't make it out at the moment.

The woman left him with Kellen.

"Sir, you wanted to see me?" Sun said.

"I sure do man." Kellen said smiling.

"So I'm not going to beat around the bush here. I know you've been lonely. I can see it. Heather can too." Kellen said.

"I wish I could say your wrong, but your sure as hell not." Sun said.

"We had been thinking, your Moon personality, we've suppressed his AI in your system, and I know it's given you far more freedom, but we got to thinking since you've been lonely, what if we take his SSD with his OS and files out of you, and put it in a separate body just for him? You wouldn't be alone again, you would have somebody to keep you company when the glamrocks are not available to hang with you." Kellen said.

"No offense Kellen, but I'd say your pretty damn crazy to think giving Moon a separate body is a good idea. I mean have you seen the guy? All he wants to do is put children to sleep and he creeps them out. He's not exactly um, child friendly in that state, and doesn't seem to have any other intelligence." Sun said.

"Oh but that's where your wrong friend, he does have intelligence, he's just stuck in theater mode all the time. We were able to track down the bug in his software after we analyzed the code we wrote for him years ago. Actually his code predates my tenure here." Kellen said.

"Huh, ya know, that explains so much…" Sun said putting a finger to his chin.

"We can take his SSD out of your body, and stick it in the other one I have ready in the repair bay here, before I boot him up, I force him to go into software update mode, he'll receive the update over wifi and that should fix the bug and before you know it, you got a brother to hang out with." Kellen said.

"I don't know Kellen…what if he wakes up in that new body and he goes completely homicidal, like worse then just making children to go to sleep?" Sun asked with concern.

"Trust me that won't happen. And…you need someone Sun. It pains me to see you have to drag yourself back to your room at the end of the night when everyone else is busy. And I'm not the only one who sees it." Kellen said.

Sun felt like he wanted to cry.

Kellen then turned around.

"Hey, everyone. Come on out." Kellen said.

Freddy, Roxanne, Chica and Monty stepped out from the shadows along with Vanessa and Gregory. They were all dressed in their casual civilian clothes.

"What…is this?" Sun asked.

"We wanted to come here to support you Sun. And tell you, we never were trying to avoid you. Your still apart of this family, even if right now…things are complicated in our lives." Freddy said thinking about Vanny and William. He has not told Sun yet.

"He's right Sun. Even though I'm busy on stage, I still think of you on those nights where I have to turn down your hangouts. Believe me I don't want to. And I promise when things get less crazy with the band, you'll see us around more. Your still a part of this family, and you shouldn't have to be alone." Chica said.

"We're here for you Sun. You deserve happiness just as much as everyone else. And I promise you'll get to spend more time with us once some other things going on cool down. But in the meantime, you need someone you can talk to. No offense to Helpy." Roxanne said.

"Sunny boy, you need this. Let Kellen here help free Moon. The real Moon." Monty said with his southern accent as he had this arms crossed.

"It's going to be okay Sun. We're right here." Vanessa said with Gregory by her side as he nodded and smiled.

"You guys…really do still care." Sun said tearing up from his artificial tear ducts.

Kellen walked up to Sun and extended his hand out.

"C'mon buddy, let's get you a brother." Kellen said with a smile.

"Yeah…let's do it Kellen. Moon needs a body where he can be himself." Sun said.

"Okay then, follow me." Kellen said walking Sun into the chamber to show him the Moon body.

The Moon body was already dressed in the Moon daycare attire Sun would change into by tearing his pants off in the Moon mode. His eyes were closed.

"Okay that's him. Let's take that other SSD out of you. Just let me open the access panel on your upper back, so take your hoodie off. Your SSD's are hot-swappable so I can remove them while your still running and powered up." Kellen said.

Sun did as asked and took his hoodie off, revealing a tanktop. It exposed his upper back enough for Kellen to get to his panel. He opened the panel and saw the NVME SSD in slot 2 and removed it before closing the panel back up.

Sun put his hoodie back on.

He lifting the light Moon body with Sun's help and inserted the SSD into slot 1 on Moon's back panel before closing it and putting Moon's shirt back down. Kellen plugged an ethernet cable that was plugged into a network jack on the wall, into the network port behind Moon's neck, the activity lights on the port confirmed there was network connection. Kellen also plugged in a USB cable into Moon, connected to his laptop on a table to watch the serial console output of Moon's systems live.

"Okay, here we go." Kellen said clicking on the Wake-On-LAN button in the software diagnostics portal. A wake on lan signal was sent over the network to Moon's port matching the MAC address Kellen had listed for Moon's network adapter.

Moon's systems booted despite remaining motionless. He received the software update as soon as his BIOS firmware posted.

The firmware update was received then he rebooted again. This time his operating system was booting.

Once the FazLinux OS loaded, Moon's services started and then his HUD finally loaded.

"What the….where the hell am I?" Moon said. He opened his eyes and looked around.

"Moon…? Brother?" Sun said.

He saw Kellen.

"Hello Moon." Kellen said.

"Well, I know who that guy is. I know who those people are." Moon said pointing a finger at the glamrocks and Vanessa.

He saw Gregory.

"I definitely know who the fuck that kid is." Moon said.

Roxanne busted out laughing.

Roxanne looked at Gregory with a toothy grin.

"Sorry pup-cup that was a little funny." Roxanne said.

"Moon, language!" Freddy said.

"Language? Ahh who the fuck cares, the kid is gonna hear it anyway." Moon said.

"Kellen I was not expecting this. Is he going to be swearing like this all the time?" Sun asked.

"Well, he was suppressed for awhile in your systems. I imagine he's not used to having so much free will." Kellen said.

"Well, it's a start. Brother! How are ya?" Sun said hugging Moon.

"Whoa bro, I just became fully sentient, give me like one minute." Moon said.

"Okay this is going to take some getting used to. Well, thanks Kellen and everyone for being here for me for this." Sun said.

"Being here for what, did someone die? Okay, please tell me I didn't murder someone while I was in theater mode." Moon asked.

"No Moon, you didn't murder anyone. Anyway, I think we've got some catching up to do since your now fully sentient and your software is now as up to date as mine and the glamrocks." Sun said.

"This is going to be an interesting addition to the family…." Freddy said.
