Karl walked to his car because he knew that Chris would be at his house.
Once Karl arrived at Chris's house his car was gone

Karl drove to their favorite coffee shop. Once he arrived, he saw Chris sitting at a table doing homework. "Chris I need to talk to you I don't want to do this but I don't want our child growing up with it's parents fighting all the time."
"What are you trying to say?" "I want to break up unless we can go a week with out fighting." "Ok. Tuesday's and Thursday's will be just for us no school work no fighting and non of ours friends can join us." "Deal."
"Do you want to start today and join me at for a drink?" "I would love to but I can't the smell is making me feel sick and I need to get back to school." Chris nodded and then grabbed his backpack and books too.
"I'll walk you to your car I'm done studying."

Karl laughed at what Jimmy said but it was too late for that. "Karl do you want to join me for a gaming companion tonight?" "I thought we said no friends?" "I did but it's online only us in the same room."
"Ok." Karl went back to school and when he got there Jimmy Chandler and Nolan was all waiting for him. "Where were you? You missed three periods I had to lie about where you were." "I told you I had to meet Chris about something."
"Why couldn't it wait until after school." "Because I need to talk to him now." "But why?" "I can't tell you." Nolan knew what Karl was getting at. "Guys we need to help Karl calm down it's not good for him."
"What do you mean Nolan?" Karl shook his head no but Nolan didn't listen because he thought that they could be trusted.
