Jordan helped Mathew out of his car seat and took his hand once he put him down. "Jordan is that really you." Jordan turned and standing there was Max. "What you doing here?" "I'm here with my daughter." Max point to the little girl in the baby swings being pushed by her mom.
"You actually step up and became a dad?" Mathew looked up at the two teens and became scared because he never seen Jordan that mad. "No!" Jordan looked down at his son and saw the fear in his eyes.
"Oh baby baba is sorry that he scared you." "No." Nolan came up to them and Mathew tried to get his hand out of Jordan's grip. "Do you mind watching him?" "Of course not." Once Nolan and Mathew walked off Jordan turned his attention back to Max.
"I'm sorry for how I treated you." "Don't even." Jordan walked over to Nolan and Mathew who were at the swings and Nolan was talking to Mathew half sister's mom. "Kelly arranged a play date for Chelsea and Mathew I told her that I would talk to you about it." "I would."
Just then Jordan's phone started to ring
"Hello"
"Jordan I know it's your day off but I need you to come in because two people called in sick and your the only one off."
"Fine but can you make it up to me on Halloween because I want to take Mattie trick or treating"
"You got a deal."
Jordan looked at Nolan "Is it ok that I take your car? I'll drop it off at my house." "Sure. Do you want to take Mathew home?" "No we just got here I'll switch the car seat." Jordan went to find Chris and found him and Karl walking around the walk path.
"Hey I got called in is it cool if Mattie rides with you?" "Sure. Do you need us to watch him too?" "No Nolan is." "Ok." Chris tossed Jordan his car keys and then went to the play ground to help Nolan.
Two hours later
"I think we should be headed back." "Your right." Chris stopped the swing and got Mathew out. "No." "Mattie we need to get out so we can go bye bye." "No bye bye." "Yes bye bye buddy." "No." Chris ignored him and carried him to his truck . "No bye bye." Karl came up to Chris's truck and got in the back next to Mathew's car seat so Nolan could sit in the passenger seat.
Once everybody was in Chris's truck he pulled out and drove back to Jordan's. Once he made it Mathew was asleep. "Ok I'll see you Monday Karl see you on Wednesday Chris." "See you Nolan drive safe." "I will." Karl got up front while Chris carried Mathew inside.
Once Chris returned to his truck Karl was throwing up. "Are you ok?" "Yeah just morning sickness." Chris gave him a sympathetic smile.
Chris drove Karl to his house and then helped with his suitcase. "Do you want to stay for a little?" "No I need to get home I promise to see you on Monday if I don't have any homework." "Alright." Karl gave Chris a kiss and then headed upstairs to unpack his clothes.
On Monday at the school
Karl headed to his class and sat down he didn't see Jordan because usually he was the first one in class. 20 minutes later Jordan came running in with a late pass and something on his shirt and a pacifier in his hand. "I'm so sorry I was late. "It's ok Mr. Roberts." Jordan made his way over and sat down beside Karl. "I won't ask you what is on your shirt. but why do you have one of Mathew's pacifiers?"
"I forgot I was holding it and just carried it out and my mom hates when I leave his pacifiers in her car." "Sounds like you had a ruff morning." "You have no idea." "Mr. Jacobs and Mr. Roberts do you have something to say to the class?" "No Mrs. Jackson." "Then be quite." "Yes Ma'am. Meet me at lunch." "I can't do lunch I got called in early."
"Ok." Karl went back to writing down his notes and the homework. Once he was about to write Jordan the bell rang. "Jordan class is over and I need my arm." "Sorry I got no sleep last night Mathew came down with the stomach flue and when he wasn't throwing up he was crying for me I couldn't leave him for any reason."
"That sounds horrible." "Yeah. I'll see you tomorrow." "See you tomorrow. I hope Mathew feels better." "Me too but thankfully mom isn't watching any of the other kids because of Mattie being sick." Karl and Jordan went in different ways.
Once Karl made it to his class he went to sit by Nolan but found somebody already sitting there. Karl looked and finally found a spot.
"Good morning class." Karl rolled his eyes and put his head on his desk. He looked over and saw Nolan looking at him with worried eyes. "Just queasy." Nolan nodded and then turned to the person he was talking. "Alright I have assigned you a group project and it's due in two weeks." Karl and Nolan locked eyes because
Jimmy always put school before the channel and Karl wouldn't be able to see Chris.
"Mr. Jacobs you will be working with Mr. Hasen." Karl smiled at that. Out of nowhere he felt like he was going to be sick. "Ms. Ryan can I use the bathroom?" "Sure go a head." Karl waited for her to write him a pass and then he ran down the hall and lost what little he ate for breakfast.

Karl sighed and then went to wash his hands. Karl went back to his classroom and saw that they were making a ruff draft of what they were supposed to be doing. Karl went over to Nolan's table and sat down beside him. "What are we supposed to be doing?" Nolan went into details about what they were supposed to be doing. "Ugh I hate how smart we are."
"Don't worry Karl. Do you want to come over to my house and work on it?" "Sure the faster we get done with this the faster I get to spend time with Chris." Nolan rolled his eyes and kept working on what he had planned out.
After school
"So how does it feel?" "Weird I'm it will be weirder when they start kicking and I know Chris won't be able to get enough of it he already loves my baby bump." "How many weeks are you now?" "Eight as of Friday but I forgot so I woke up Chris and told him on Saturday." "Sounds cute."
Karl and Nolan worked on their project and was about to start typing it up when Nolan's mom called them for dinner. Karl looked at the alarm clock and saw that it was already five thirty and he never told his parents that he was going over to Nolan's.
Karl looked down at his phone and saw that he had twenty missed calls from his parents and Chris. "Oh man they probably think I'm dead or something." "Don't worry just call them and explain why you didn't text them or call them." Karl did that as soon as they finished dinner.
"Hey Nolan do you want to play a game like we did the first time we met?" "Sure since we did most of our homework." It was almost midnight when they finally finished playing. "Oh man I need to head home." "Ok."
On his way home Karl was hit by a drunk driver.
"Oh wow that hurt." "Sir are you ok." "Huh?" "I asked if you were ok." Karl looked around him and saw that he was in a hospital. Karl felt around and sighed when he felt his baby bump. "Is there anybody that you want us to call?" "My mom and my boyfriend Chris."
"Ok." The nurse went out and called Chris and Karl's mom. Chris came twenty minutes later
"I'm here is he ok are the twins ok?" "Twins what twins?" "My boyfriend is pregnant." The nurse gave Chris a weird look but lead him to Karl. "What the heck are you doing driving at 12:30 in the morning?" "I was at Nolan's and was on my way home." "Why didn't you call me to pick you up or answer any of my texts?"
"I wasn't thinking I'm sorry." "I was so worried about you." "I'm sorry." Karl started crying. "Oh Karl I didn't mean to make you cry." Chris pulled Karl to his chest and comfort him. "Mr. Jacobs I have some news." Karl pulled out of the hug and looked at the doctor.
"As you know your pregnant but one twin suffered and maybe paralyzed from the waste down." Chris and Karl looked at each other. "We can do this." "I know we can."
Karl discharge after three hours. "You can stay at my house until you feel better." "Thanks." Chris drove them to his house and once he was there he carried Karl up the stairs and into his room.
