Two weeks later

"Ug I am so ready to go back." "I know but we go to the hospital today after I get back from class at noon." "Ug. Can you please carry me down stairs?" "Of course." Chris carried Karl down the stairs and into his living room and put him down on his couch.

"I have to run but I'll see you later." "Alright before you go can you get me something to eat?" "Sure."

Later at the doctors

"Ok lets see here baby a is looking good and lets see if we can find baby b." The doctor moved the wand around Karl's stomach and was about to give when he spotted baby b behind there brother or sister.

"Baby b also looks healthy." He then turned to Karl. "I need you to be careful since you are a man but you are free to go back to school but no driving until after they are born."

Karl looked over at Chris and knew that he would offer Karl to stay at his house or at Karl's so that he could drive him to school on his way to class. "Ok you're free to go and I'll see you in two weeks." Karl nodded and then went to make his next appointment.

Later at Karl's house

"I love how freaking cool your mom is." "Why do you say that?" "She just goes along with anything." "She is pretty awesome." Just Karl got a text from Jordan

J- I got called in and my mom is out of town can you please watch Mathew

K-Sure and don't worry about the car seat we still have the one that you got from Nolan

J- thank you so much

K-no problem

After Karl sent that last text he looked over at Chris. "We need to watch Mathew because Jordan got called in and his mom is out of town." "Ok you stay here and then I'll drive over and get him." "Fine."

Once Chris returned with Mathew

"Jordan packed him some clothes and toys because he might have to stay the night." "How the heck did you get him up here with out my parents seeing him?" "I have no clue." "K hungy." "Chris Karl time for dinner." "Alright Mattie lets hope my mom made something you can eat." Karl went downstairs with Chris and Mathew following him.

"Karl why is there a little boy in our kitchen and who's child is he?" "Do you remember how I said I met somebody else that has the love gene?" "Yes but what does it have to do with this little boy?" "Well his dad asked me to watch him and I said yes." "I see. Sean can you go out to the garage and get your old high chair for me?"

Sean went to do as he was told while his mom Stared at the child. "Why have you never told me that your friend has a child?" "He doesn't like people spreading stuff about Mathew." "K."

Mathew ran and hid behind Karl's legs. Karl turned and then as best as he could bent down in front of him. "This is my baba just like nana is baba's baba." Mathew look at her and still felt afraid. "K up." Karl stud up with Mathew on his hip. Just then Sean came in carrying the high chair.

"Just put it close to the table. Karl bring him to the table." Karl carried Mathew over to the table and tried to put him in the high chair. "No K." "Buddy we got to sit down so we can eat and then get ready for bed." "K no." Karl finally got him to sit down and he took a picture to send Jordan.

K- just thought you wanted to see

J- how did you get him to sit in the seat I usually have to hold him

K- by luck

"Karl no phones at the dinner table." "Sorry mom I was texting Jordan." Mathew started crying at hearing his name. "Aww Mattie it's ok baba will be here to pick you up in no time." "Baba." "How about we call Jordan after bath time so he can say goodnight." "Good idea Chris."

Once they finished dinner Chris and Karl gave Mathew a bath and then put him in his pjs. "You two go pick out a book while I call somebody." Karl step out of his room and text Jordan

K- just about to put Mathew to bed I was going to call you so you can say goodnight

J-I have a few minutes

Karl went into back into his room and as soon as he sat down next to Chris his phone started to ring

"Hello"

"Hey it's me"

"Ok hold on." Karl put his phone on speaker

"Ok your on speaker."

"Mattie." Mathew started looking around for the sound of his voice

"Oh baby you can't see me I'm at work"

"Baba"

"I'm here baby I'll see you tomorrow after nana gets you"

"What time do she gets home"

"I think she said seven"

"Ok because Chris and I leave at seven thirty"

"You got cleared"

"Yes"

"I'll see you tomorrow"

"Bye I love you Mattie go to sleep for K and C."

"Bye."

Karl hung up his phone and looked over at Mathew who was down bye his and Chris's legs asleep. "Should we move him closer so we don't accidentally kick him?" "My mom said never move a sleeping child but he is in a dangerous place but so is he if we lay him in between us because we cuddle."

"Dose your mom still have your or your siblings toddler beds?" "I'll go ask." Karl got out of his bed and went to find his mom and found her in the kitchen. "Mom do we still have mine Sean or Cory's toddler beds?" "Yea they are in the garage." "Thanks." Karl ran up the stairs and into his room.

"We have them I'll keep an eye on Mattie and you go get them." "Deal." Karl went into his room and laid down on his bed imaging in three years one of the twins if not both laying here on their bed if they had a bad dream or are sick and just want to cuddle.

Karl heard something coming up the stairs and five minutes later saw Chris carrying the toddler bed and Sean carrying the crib mattress. "Just put it in front of my bed." Once it was set up Chris got Mathew from Karl's bed and then laid him down on the toddler bed.

"I'm guessing this one was yours." "Why do you say that?" "Because it has your name written on it." "Just come here and cuddle me." "Bossy much?" "Maybe." Chris got in on the other side and Karl cuddled right up to him."

The next morning

"Morning." "Five more minutes." "We don't have five more minutes because we over slept and Jordan's mom is here." "Shoot." "Good job catching yourself." "It wasn't that hard. Look." Karl turned and saw Mathew standing on the toddler bed holding onto Karl's bed. "Good morning star shine the earth says hello."

"K up." "No K has to get dressed." Mathew just looked at Karl not understanding what he was saying. "How about we get dressed so Nana doesn't have to?" "Nana?" "Yeah she downstairs." Mathew ran passed Chris and stop at the stairs trying to figure out how to get down them because they have a one story house.

"There you are come on and lets get dressed so you can see baba." "Baba!" Chris grabbed Mathew's hand and walked him back to Karl's room where his backpack is. Once everybody was dressed Chris, Karl, and Mathew all went down the stairs and once Karl let go of his hand Mathew ran to his grandma.

"Oh you got him dressed?" "Chris did I was getting ready for school." "Oh Jordan told me about your accident." "Yeah I'm just glad to be going back to school but Chris has to drive me until the twins are born." "Luckily the high school is close to were I go to collage." "Why aren't you dressed?" "Its Tuesday I don't have class on Tuesdays and I need to get most of my closes."

Jordan's mom left and Chris and Karl went to get breakfast. "I love getting food before school and I'm done puking what I have or haven't eaten." "Well that's how we know the twins are ok." Chris drove Karl to the high school "I might be late picking you up because I have a job interview so I can prived for you and the twins"

Karl made his way inside and looked for his friends. "Karl your back and I'm so sorry that you were in that accident." "It's not your fault." Nolan pulled Karl in for a hug. "I could of say something so you didn't leave."

Karl made his way to his first class. "Hey Karl thanks for watching Mathew last night." Karl turned and saw Jordan walking up to him. "No problem I would do anything for the two of you." "Did you change him?" "No Chris did while I was getting dressed."

"Chris is so nice. Did Mattie wake up any?" "No he slept all night long and if it wasn't for your mom texting me that she is here we all would of still been asleep." "Wow you guys have a magic touch because I can't get him to sleep all night." "What time do you put him down?" "Depends on what I'm doing and how tired he is."

"He fell asleep at 8:30 so maybe you should make his bed time eight or eight thirty." "I'll try that tonight." "Good." Once class ended Karl got the work he missed and then headed to his next class.

Once the school day was over Karl went to the student parking lot and waited for Chris. When Karl was about to walk home he saw Chris's truck. "I was about to walk to my house if you didn't hurry up." "I'm sorry but I got the job I work Mondays Fridays and Saturdays."

Karl smiled and got into Chris's truck. "I have to go to Ohio next week because my grandpa had died." Chris looked over at him and sighed. "Do you think I could come?" "What about your class?" "Colleges have a different breaks then the high schoolers and elementary schools."

"I'll ask my mom when we get home because we might be there for two weeks." "oh gosh that's means you'll have a bigger baby bump when you get back if I can't go."

At Karl's house

"Mom dad?" "In the kitchen sweetie." Karl made his way to the kitchen and saw that both of them were in the kitchen. "Mom dad is it cool if Chris went with us?" "I don't know Karl it is two weeks and he still has school."

"Please mom." "Fine but I want you both on your best behavior and no sitting beside each other on the plane." "Why we can't do anything?" "Fine but don't tell your grandma that you guys are boyfriends." "Wouldn't it be weird if I walk into the funeral home holding hands with him?"

"For you no." "I'm going to go tell Chris." Karl ran to his room and went over to Chris. "Guess what?" "By the looks on your face I get to come." "Yes and my mom said that we couldn't tell anybody that we are together so I would get to kissing me." Chris laugh at what Karl said.

At the end of the week

"Ok so your teachers know that you are coming with us?" "Yes and I told my boss at Best Buy that I had a death in the family." "You lied to them?" "Just a little lie and your family would be my family if we ever got married." "Whatever. You all packed?" "Yeah I moved some of my clothes into your dresser and closet and kept some for when we are down there."

"I'm so not looking forward to this trip at least I have you." Chris and Karl grabbed their suitcases and brought them downstairs and put them by the door. "Chris Karl is that you guys?" "Yes it's us." "Chris can you go help David with getting the luggage ready and Karl can you help help me get breakfast ready?"

"Yeah I'm coming." Karl went into the kitchen with his mom and siblings while Chris went to help Karl's dad.

Once everything was done and everybody had eaten and got ready they went to the airport.

Time jump to when they landed and at Karl's grandparents house

"So dear are you going to introduce your friend to us." "Oh yeah guys meet Chris Chris this is all my dad's family part of them you might meet my cousins later." "Cool. Do you want to go exploring?" "There's not." Karl stopped himself and knew what Chris was getting at.

"Bye mom Chris and I are going out." "Make sure you meet a nice girl while you're out there tell your friend I said that too." Karl ignored them and went over to the rental car. "Do you sneak out a lot when you're here?" "No most of my cousins are older than me so when they and Cory went somewhere at night they never would invite me but now I have the best boyfriend in the world."

Chris and Karl have been driving for about two hours when they came close to a city.
