Natsu and Cygnus ran side by side, flames covering the fist of the fire dragon while gravity increased the weight of Cygnus' arm. "Iron Fist of the Fire Dragon!" Natsu shouted as he swung his arm in a downward motion towards Zihark.
Zihark merely smirked, jumping off to the side as Nastu swung. Natsu's fist struck the ground, cracking it with ease, and created a small crater. "Is that all you have, human?"
"Try this!" Cygnus exclaimed as he ran in after Natsu missed, his fist pulled back as he neared the second in command. "Gravity God's Heavy Smash!"
"Pathetic!" Zihark grinned mockingly as his wings spread out, and the commander took off into the air, allowing Cygnus to strike the ground, cratering a crater larger than the one Natsu made.
"Tch. He won't hold still!" Cygnus grunted as he shook his hand while looking up at Zihark.
"Just hold him off!" Cana said as the Fairy Glitter mark gave a slight glow.
Lucy reached for her key ring, pulling out a golden key. "Gate of the Archer, I open thee! Sagittarius!" A gold magic circle appeared and the cosplaying horse appeared beside Lucy, giving her a salute.
"How can I be of assistance, moshi-moshi?" Sagittarius asked.
"Shoot him down!" Lucy shouted whist pointing towards the airborne Zihark.
"As you wish!" Sagittarius gave a nod before pulling out his bow and arrow; in the next second, he unleashed multiple arrows that hurtled towards Zihark.
"Target practice? I think not..." Zihark's grin widened slightly as he showcased his expertise in being airborne. With skillful movements, the angel managed to avoid each and every arrow the skillful archer fired, which surprised Sagittarius immensely.
"He missed every shot!" Happy cried out.
"Happy!" Natsu shouted as he broke into a sprint. Happy complied as he picked up Natsu, now soaring into the air to combat Zihark.
"The air is my territory, Dragon Slayer!" Zihark bellowed as he pulled out a large sword. The sword was twice the size of Natsu, perhaps a little longer. Zihark raised the blade over his head. He then swung the long blade down, only for it to extend in length and width as it traveled down.
"Look out!" Happy quickly moved to the left, just barely avoiding the giant sword that nearly cleaved him and Natsu in half.
"It's coming down!" Cygnus shouted as he, Lucy, Sagittarius, and Cana dove to the side. The sword literally cleaved through the ground quite a number of yards. A few seconds after, the surrounding buildings collapsed, turning into mostly rubble after.
"What is that thing..." Lucy asked as her eyes were wide from the destruction the single swing caused.
Zihark pointed his free hand up, creating a large, clear magic circle on the ground under the feet of the three mages. Around the perimeter of the circle were lances of light. "Holy Lance!" The lances all rained down within the circle; the first lance struck Sagittarius, sending him back to the Spirit World. The second lance struck Lucy, sending her rolling across the ground, the third struck Cygnus, and the fourth struck Cana, sending the two mages flying into the rubble of what used to be a three story building.
Natsu and Happy seemed to be safe, and with that belief, the two life long partners flew towards Zihark, although Natsu had a large grin on his face as flames coated his arm. "Got you now, bastard!
"You would be right..." Zihark began as Natsu swung his fist, though the angel swayed to the right, avoiding such a punch with relative ease. "But you miscounted your lances." Zihark flapped his wings, allowing him to scoot back.
"Eh...?" Natsu looked up, his eyes widening when he noticed the last (and largest) Holy Lance coming his and Happy's way. The lance slammed into the duo, sending them crashing into the ground.
"Natsu! Happy!" Lucy gasped as she scrambled to pick herself up, hurrying over to the fire dragon.
"What's wrong? I thought you were going to defeat me...?" Zihark spoke in a condescending tone as he landed on the ground once again.
"I'm really starting to hate this guy..." Groaned Cygnus as he pushed himself out of the rubble. "Let me show you what a demi-god can do...God Trigger!" A sudden pulse of magic energy exploded around Cygnus as he entered his God Trigger state. "Card girl, how much time do we have left?!" After Cygnus asked, he ran forward, entering close combat with Zihark, but the angel was easily able to block and evade the incoming melee strikes from the gravity god.
"Agh...just a few more minutes, and I need a clear shot!" Cana replied as she stood up, watching the Fairy Glitter tattoo pulsate on her arm, a bright red color.
"Insects, the lot of you! Just give up, lie down, and die!" Zihark spoke with irritation, sneering with disgust as he swung his leg at Cygnus' side, sending the buffed up gravity god tumbling away.
"Like hell!" Natsu roared as he formed a large sphere of fire over his head, jumping into the air to gain more momentum for his blaze. "Dazzling Blaze of the Fire Dragon!" Natsu hurled the blazing sphere towards Zihark.
"So annoying..." Zihark rolled his eyes, bringing his arm back. He shifted his body as he brought his arm forward, backhanding the Blaze in Lucy's direction .
"Lucy look out!" Cana screamed, but the Blaze had come in too fast; the impact created a fiery explosion. Lucy let out a scream of pain during the duration of the explosion; when it faded, her body was covered in burn marks.
"Lucy...! Are you okay?!" Happy flew over to Lucy, letting out a sigh of relief to see that she was still moving.
"I'm...fine..." Lucy brought herself to her knees, coughing from the smoke that got in her lungs.
"You bastard!" Natsu yelled at the top of his lungs, swinging wild punches at Zihark. The wild and unpredictable nature of Natau's rage threw Zihark off guard slightly. The punches Natsu threw came dangerously close to striking Zihark, only centimeters away from hitting his body every time. Eventually, Zihark found an opening, and rammed his knee into Natsu's gut, causing Natsu to stop cold. Natsu's eyes widened from the impact, and before he could move, Zihark slammed a hammer fist on the top of Natsu's head, causing him to slam into the ground face fist. Zihark promptly placed his foot on Natsu's head, crushing it into the ground after.
"You know...you're really annoying..." Zihark sighed as he increased the pressure on Natsu's head. "And don't even think about moving, otherwise I'll make his brain and all the juices inside his skull fly out..."
"Natsu..." Lucy clenched her fist, never feeling more useless than at this moment. The one time she could save Natsu, she couldn't.
"Dammit..." Cana grit her teeth; the most unfortunate part about this situation was that she was ready to unleash Fairy Glitter, but she wouldn't dare use the spell while Natsu was in range.
"Mphf..." Natsu grumbled while his face was practically in the ground at this point.
"What's that? I can't hear you! I think you have some dirt in your mouth?" Zihark said while laughing mockingly.
Even though his face was in the ground, Natsu had a smirk of his own. "Of the Lightning Flame Dragon!"
"What..?!" Zihark's eyes widened, and before he could even react, a sudden eruption of lightning flames shot up from the ground, consuming the angel. Zihark staggered back, his body covered in burn marks. "Y-You hit me?!"
"Regulas Impact!" Loke shouted as he slammed his fist into Zihark's jaw, causing the angel to almost fall over.
"Nice job, Loke!" Lucy grinned
"Agh!" Zihark flapped his wings, taking off into the sky to get some distance.
"Where do you think you're going, pretty boy?!" Cygnus grinned as he clapped his hands together, creating a purple magic seal above the flying angel. "Fall."
"Grah!" The sudden change in gravity took Zihark off guard, forcing him down to the ground on his hands and knees.
"Cana, it's all you!" Lucy shouted.
"I got it!" Cana ran forward, pointing her arm towards Zihark. The Fairy Glitter mark on her arm shone a bright color as a bright light appeared in the dark clouds above. Cana then pointed her arm at Zihark, now activating one of Fairy Tail's strongest magics. "Fairy Glitter!" Cana exclaimed at the top of her lungs; from the clouds, a powerful beam of magic rained down on Zihark, shaking the entire area. With another scream from Cana, the light expanded violently, shaking the entire city as it consumed Zihark.
"What the hell is that?!" Sirus asked with a shocked expression as he noticed the tower of light.
"Heh..." Laxus merely smirked at the sight of Fairy Glitter's activation.
"Zihark...!" Cumore turned his attention to the tower of light, flying over in that direction as he temporarily abandon his search for the Reset Cannon's key.
"Now that's WILD!" Bacchus shouted out as he raised a hand into the air.
Slowly, the light faded, and when it did, the sight before the mages astounded them; Zihark was standing.
"N-No way...!" Happy covered his mouth with his hands.
"He's still standing..." Cana's confident expression quickly replaced with a fearful one as she took a step back.
Zihark rolled his neck, smirking as he could tell the humans, spirits, and exceed before him were in shock. "Let me tell you something..." Zihark, within the blink of an eye, appeared in front of Cana, and swung a hard kick to her side, shattering a rib. He could tell as Cana let out a yelp of pain, tumbling across the ground. "I am second in power only to commander Sirus, and he is leagues above myself. I, however, and leagues above you lowly humans. But, I will commend you, for this is the first time in a long time that I've actually had a decent warm up...and for that, Fairy Glitter user, I will get rid of you first..."
"Not if I have anything to say about it!" Natsu shouted as he kept going, not even allowing the fact a powerful magic such as Fairy Glitter didn't even faze this angel. He prepared another strike, but before he even reached Zihark, a powerful gust of wind blew him towards Lucy, causing the pair to hit the ground.
"Annoying little shits..." Zihark drew his fist back. "Don't worry, everyone else will be joining you soon." He then threw his arm forward...but another fist beat him to the swing, slamming into Zihark's jaw. The force of this punch was bone shattering, and it sent him spiraling through a building and then some. Zihark quickly appeared back to where he was, looking around to see who attacked him. "WHO DARES?!"
"T-That's...!" Lucy started.
"A really pissed off father..." Cygnus finished.
A livid Gildarts stood in front of Cana, giving the most intimidating death glare towards Zihark. "..."
"He's not speaking...he's /angry/..." Happy pointed out.
"...Gildarts..." Cana winced as she stood up, averting her eyes from Gildarts.
"Go," Gildarts demanded Cana, and the rest of the group.
"Let's go..." Lucy nodded, and the group ran off, leaving Gildarts to deal with Zihark.
"You...human...who do you think you are?!" Zihark flew forward, throwing his fist towards Gildarts, but the Fairy Tail ace blocked the hit with his forearm, only sliding back a few inches across the ground. Gildarts then threw his free hand at Zihark, the hit landing directly on Zihark's face, sending the angel tumbling across the ground. "GAH!" Zihark roared in frustration, flying up into the sky, bringing out his long sword once again. "How dare you not even respond to an angel of my cailber?! I will /make/ you respect me!" Zihark swung his sword down at Gildarts, aiming to cleave the crash mage in half. A large smoke cloud appeared once contact was seemingly made. "HA!" When the smoke cleared, Zihark's eyes widened. Gildarts caught the sword with his prosthetic arm, and the ground beneath him had cratered. Gildarts had done that to reduce the impact of the sword. A bright white lines appeared on the blade of the sword, slowly making their way up to the hilt. "Eh...?!" Zihark dropped his sword, only for it to dissipate into nothing, for it had been dissembled.
"See that sword...?" Gildarts asked with a low, serious tone. "That's going to be you when I'm finished."

"I wanted to take that guy down...!" Natsu complained.
"We would've just been in the way..." Cana replied to Natsu while her hair created a shadow over her eyes.
"Gildarts can take him, no problem!" Happy exclaimed.
"Tch, he better," Cygnus grunted.
Cumore landed a few feet in front of the traveling group, his sword drawn back with a smirk. "Hello, common rabble..."
"Cumore...!" Cana immediately shot her gaze towards the familiar voice.
"Goodbye." Cumore grinned as he swung his sword, unleashing a powerful shockwave that blew the group of five back, causing them to roll across the concrete.
"D-Dammit..!" Natsu slowly picked himself up, slamming a fist into the ground. He looked around, only to notice a horde of angels in front of them. preparing their weapons to finish them off.
"Shit...!" Cygnus shouted.
Before anything else could happen, a funnel of black lightning and flames ripped through the two nearby buildings, burning the angels to a literal crisp. "What the-?!" Cumore looked over in the direction the funnel had come from.
"HYAHAHAHA!" Zancrow laughed as black lightning sparked around his black flames. "Where's your god now?!"
"Zancrow..." Natsu narrowed his eyes to a slight glare at the god slayer.
"Who do you think you are?!" Cumore asked.
"Zancrow, the strongest god slayer to exist!" After Zancrow proclaimed that, he lunged forward, slamming a black fire and lightning infused fist into Cumore's jaw, the force sending the angel clear across the city. Zancrow let out another laugh before turning to face Natsu. "Listen here, Gecko. We're going to have a rematch one day, and only one of us is walking from it alive, you here me? Until then, count your days, because right now, there are more fun things to destroy!" Zancrow turned around, and then left.
"Lightning Flame God..." Natsu mumbled to himself.
"Who was the idiot who gave that guy a dual mode?" Cygnus groaned.

Already only minutes into their battle, Gildarts and Zihark had already managed to damage each other rather heavily, though Zihark was worse than Gildarts. The two powerhouses threw their fists forward, only to collided. The pressure given off by the collision resulted in a powerful shockwave that nearly caused an earthquake, and even caused the air to tremble. "What in heaven's name is going on down there?!"
Sirus asked as he looked in the direction of the fight.
Zihark took a punch to the jaw, Gildarts took a hook to the face, this exchanged continued for who knows how long. It ended when Zihark aimed another punch to Gildarts' face, but the ace bent back, avoiding the punch; Gildarts then shifted his weight forward, slamming his head into Zihark's face, forcing Zihark into the ground, creating a large crater. Zihark pushed himself up, landing a double kick into Gildarts' chin, which caused him to stagger back a step, but he recovered with little to no trouble. "W-What on Earthland are you...?!" Zihark asked as he panted heavily. "A human shouldn't have this much power! But I refuse! I refuse to lose to a lowly human!"
"How about a ghost, then?" Sidney asked rhetorically.
"Huh...?" Zihark looked around, only to notice two towers of darkness and two of light around him.
"Eclipse Tower." Sidney clapped his hands, and the four towers converged on Zihark, now shooting up into the sky in a tower of light and darkness. When the tower faded, Zihark was on the ground in KO.
"I was wondering when you'd show up,"
Gildarts said without even turning around.
"I was about to fight him before you showed up," Sidney replied.
"I see..." Gildarts then gave a slight chuckle. "I think it's better you took him out. I would've actually torn him to pieces!"

"This isn't good..." Sirus groaned as he saw the current battle situation. "My captains are down, and the Reset Cannon Key is down in that mess somewhere...if that's the case, I'll have to send "it"..." Sirus snapped his fingers, creating a magic circle on the ground. "Heavenly Beast: Gusios!" From the magic circle, a large humanoid beast with large pillar looking arms, a large tail, a reptilian-like face, tail, and back appeared from the circle, letting out a battle cry that shook the city. "Gusios, find the Reset Key, and crush anyone who gets in your way!"
"What the hell is THAT thing?!" Sting asked.
"Doesn't matter, we get rid of it!" Laxus shouted, popping his jaw open in the next second, sending a lightning dragon's roar towards the Heavenly Beast. The roar connected with the beast's side, but it shrugged off the hit. "What...?"
"It shrugged that hit off like it was nothing..." Rylo commented as he and Evanee walked into the scene
"So you just hit it harder!" Cynthia said as she puffed her own cheeks out unleashing an Omega Fire Dragon's Roar.
"Diamond Dragon's Roar!" Selene exclaimed as she let out a vortex of small diamond shards.
"Roar of the Iron Dragon!" Gajeel followed suit, his roar merging with Selene and Cynthia's, slamming into the face of the Heavenly Beast, but it didn't even move an inch.
"It didn't even budge?" Alexander raised a brow at the creature's endurance.
"This beast is stronger than anything you humans can throw at it!" Sirus chuckled.
"Oh yeah?" Sting placed his palm forward, entering his Dragon Force state in increase the potency of his attack. "Secret Dragon Slayer Art: Holy Nova!" After speaking these words, a destructive blast of white energy shot out of Sting's palm, destroying the ground it traveled with ease as traveled towards the Beast.
Reve requipped to his six chambered Magnum, pointing it at Gusios. "Bang..." Reve clicked the trigger, unleashing a powerful bullet alongside Sting's Holy Nova. The two attacks hit the beast, and it didn't even leave a mark.
"No way!" Yukino clasped her hands over her mouth.
"It took that shot like it was nothing..." Zalen grimaced.
"Gusios, show them your power!" Sirus commanded. The beast nodded, complying with the orders. Gusios beat it's chest a few times before slamming its pillar-like arms into the ground, leveling 78% of the city, and caused giant stalagmites popped from the ground, striking everyone on the ground, heavily damaging them.
"S-Shit..." Daryan grunted as he stood up slowly.
"W-what's going on...?" Alex asked as she weakly stood up.
"We're getting our asses kicked..." Gajeel grunted with annoyance.
"It was holding back..." Kagura stated as she used her sword as support to hold herself up. "
"What do we do against that kind of power..?" Waiston asked.
"You leave it to us." Adamantine said as he and Gaia stepped forward.
"Gaia..." Evanee narrowed her eyes at the Earth Dragon, but it didn't seem like Gaia was paying any attention to her.
"Get back." Adamantine demanded, and for some reason, everyone complied, giving the two dragons space.
"So, you say that beast is stronger than anything a human can throw at it, huh?" Gaia asked as a slow smirk appeared on her face.
"What do you two think you can do about it?" Sirus asked as he raised a brow.
"We're going do what Dragons do," Adam said as a blue magic seal appeared above his body, and he began his transformation into a dragon.
"Protect those we care about." Gaia finished as a brown magic circle appeared over her body. Within the next few seconds, Gaia and Adam finished their transformations, standing side by side as the Earth dragon and the Ice dragon, staring down the Heavenly beast with murderous intent.
