B5 Research Area

Various lab employees were trying to escape the facility once Vanny began attacking random staff in the corridors in her new mutant form. She didn't care anymore, if they wanted her to be a monster then fine, she will act like one. Betrayed by someone she looked up to for her entire existence, left to die, she felt she had nothing to lose.

Everyone in this lab will die…. She thought as she roamed the halls watching lab workers trying to flee from her.

Cue Theme: Resident Evil 2 OST – Annette's Recollection

Vanny began her rampage as soon as she killed both guards in the laboratory after Eclipse and Jason left the facility. She was still in her rabbit pajama's now stained with droplets of her blood, she was still wearing the white T-shirt, now stained with blood near the holes in the center of the shirt, where the bullets fired at her earlier entered her chest. She was still wearing her slippers as well.

Despite the horrific mutations that have altered her left arm and caused a hole containing a retractable fleshy tentacle to form in the palm of her right hand, her body was still mostly human looking. Her facial features were untouched, her hair still it's same color and in it's trademark ponytail. Her face however did have some minor droplets of her victims blood splashed on it from her earlier attacks.

Alarms were blearing in the lab, to alert Afton security forces to respond.

Vanny saw a male researcher with brown hair, with the same build and features as Afton.

"You.." She said lifting her right hand and shooting out her tentacle, and wrapping the man with it. She dragged him on the floor, retracting her tentacle, bringing him closer to her.

"Help….someone help me!" He shouted.

She then saw his face to realize it wasn't Afton. He pleaded with her.

"Please…please don't hurt me, I have a family at home. I only took this job, because I had no where else to go. Please spare me. I tried…so hard to find a position at a real laboratory, but the job market is a little rough right now in the field. I needed to feed my family." He begged.

Vanny hesitated for a second.

"I know your just a monster, but there but be something human left in there." He pleaded.

"Im….a monster…..I'm a monster….that's all I am right?" Vanny said.

"No, no I didn't mean it like that." The man said.

"Yes…yes you did. You are right. That's what I am, so I will treat you like the monster you call me." Vanny said.

"No….no wait." He pleaded. She increased the grip of her tentacle by ten fold. The man's bone's could be heard being crushed.

"Stop….please…." He was able to get out. She heard him but no longer cared.

She finished it until she heard a sickening splatter and sounds of liquids spilling. His voice stopped. She released his remains onto the floor, leaving behind a broken and bloody body.

This is what she is now, a monster, there is no going back. There is no stopping it. It's in her nature, it always was since the day she wore the bunny costume. She realized she has killed so many people in the name of her idol, and now he has abandoned her. She haw now realized that she was always a monster, using the excuse of being Afton's most dedicated follower to separate herself from that term. With him gone, it was now time for her to accept who and what she is.

"There she is!" An Afton security force member said. This guard was a captain of the squad that arrived on scene with him. They were dispatched from B3. All the men were armed with SIG MCX rifles, they opened fire on her.

"I'll be the monster I was always meant to be! I will crush all of you!" Vanny screamed. The bullet's were slowing her down but not killing her, her new healing factor was rapidly repairing the damage.

She roared loudly into the air like a savage beast. Before impaling one of the men with her tentacle right through his chest, then lifting up his body with it and throwing him at the rest of the team to knock them down.

She then started walking up to them, brandishing her spiked left arm and hand. Then began sprinting up to one of the men as he got up.

One of the other men that was still down but alive pleaded to her.

"Please, don't hurt him."

She ignored the soldier and impaled the other soldier with the bone claws from her left hand, then used her right hand tentacle to tear his torso in half.

"Ohh god…" He soldier cried out.

Meanwhile…..

On an island facility far away.

Jason and Eclipse were sitting in a large monitoring room with screens and workstations all over. They were watching the security camera's of the Afton Laboratory they abandoned.

"Hmm…the virus was supposed to kill it's host. But…the mutation into this form is rather…unexpected." Eclipse commented.

"We can use this to our advantage. Think of the combat potential if we could get this mutation under control. We could make millions Eclipse. Countries and world governments would kill for this. Just look at how quickly she dispatched an entire armed paramilitary squad." Jason said.

"Hmm….I do enjoy my research. I'll continue to observe." Eclipse said.

William Afton walked into the room.

"So it is done. You have my authority to activate the laboratories self-destruct protocol. Seal off all exit's, no one else is to leave, all that is left there is the glamrocks….Wait what is happening?" Afton asked looking at the monitor. His eye's widened when he realized he is looking at Vanny still alive, but some of her physical appearance was different, he noticed the mutations as she tore apart more lab staff and soldiers.

"She…she is alive? How?" William asked.

"It seems the virus has somehow caused rapid mutation when it was originally supposed to kill her. We still don't know how the mutations occurred but she has become a creature with an insatiable bloodlust. This does not mean failing our mission to kill her is a loss, this if anything is a major gain. Think of the research sir." Eclipse proposed.

"Fine continue to monitor….my former apprentice. But do not let her find a way out of the laboratory, seal all exits for now. When your research concludes, I want that lab gone. Understood?" William asked.

"What about the glamrocks and your granddaughter? Won't she be coming to rescue them and your family?" Eclipse asked.

"I am letting having our gator friend drop by for a visit to inform them there has been a change in plans. She will be told the family is safe and sound here. Which they are….but I can't say the same for the glamrocks." William said.

"But if you don't have the glamrocks here, then doesn't this mean she will not want to go with the plan?" Jason asked.

"She will regardless. Her father, my son Michael, means everything to her." William said.

"What about the nightmare animatronics?" Jason asked.

"What about them? We don't need them anymore." William responded.

"We can still collect combat data on them. It may be worth seeing how they fare against Vanny and the glamrocks in the facility, along with any survivors." Jason proposed.

"Fine….release them all, the nightmare animatronics and the glamrocks….but once your done, you are to send me that data and then burn that lab. Understood?" William said.

"Yes. You have my word." Jason said grinning.

Back at the laboratory….

B6 Prison Area

"I told you Funtime Freddy wasn't coming back. And…they took Michael and Clara." Roxanne said.

"And left us here to die I guess." Monty said.

"No, there is always a way. I just need to find it." Freddy said with determination.

The door to their room unlocked, and their shocker wrist bands deactivated. They could leave now.

"What the hell…." Roxanne said.

"We…can leave?" Freddy said.

"Only one way to find out sweet bear." Roxanne said.

The wolf woman opened the door, and peaked out into the hallway, she switched her eyes to X-Ray mode in case there was any hidden threats. She did not see any through the various walls of this floor. And from what she could see, this wing was small and it was a small dedicated floor to the prison rooms. They should be safe here for now, but they do wonder why it was quiet and there was no guards.

"Hmm….something seems very wrong." Freddy commented.

The hallways here were still pristine and brightly lit as they ventured out. Only thing missing was all the staff, but otherwise things on this floor looked normal.

They noticed a note on the floor with a key taped to it.

Freddy picked up the note.

"I'm sorry I could not help you. Unfortunately Afton has decided to abandon the lab, and is forcing me to leave with him. He told me all the staff will be forced to vacate the premise. But didn't give my any other information when I asked what he meant. Should you make it out of your room, take this keycard to the guard room, you might find something useful there to help you escape the facility. This card can also open other doors, but I don't know which ones, good luck." – Funtime Freddy

"So he did help us, sort of." Freddy said.

Roxanne took the key.

"I know what I'm doing first." Roxanne said as she went up to the guard's office. The office has a long glass bullet proof window that overlooked the hallway. She unlocked the door by swiping the keycard.

She made her way inside, the others followed behind her, she locked the door behind them.

"Roxanne, shouldn't we be going?" Freddy asked.

"Yes Freddy, but not without some weapons." The wolf woman said as she went through any firearms the guards left behind in the weapons room.

The wolf armed herself up with a SIG MCX rifle, two magazines, a Glock 19 handgun with two magazines, and a tactical vest. She found some tactical boots that fit her and she slipped them on.

The guys grabbed whatever weapons they could. Freddy found a Glock 19 that had one magazine of ammunition and Monty took the other SIG MCX that was available with 2 magazines, slipping them into his shorts pocket.

They were about to leave the room when they thought they heard a loud set of roars coming from the floor above them.

"Oh great…." Roxanne said grabbing her weapon.

"We gotta find our way of out here fast." Monty said.

Meanwhile…..

B5 Nightmare Research Wing

Cue Theme: Resident Evil Apocalypse – Nemesis Is Awakened

A set of computers near 4 storage capsules in a low-temperature electronics laboratory on B5, activated a protocol to begin releasing the contents of the storage capsules. Foggy chilled air was present low to the ground in the room.

The capsules opened, revealing Nightmare Bonnie, Nightmare Chica, Nightmare Foxy and Nightmare Freddy. The animatronics eyes glowed red, as they came to life stepping out of their cupules.
