Snape and Mcgonagall saw Lucius walking toward them in concern. "We don't have much time." Snape told him.

"Why did you bring her with?" Lucius asked in disgust of the older woman.

"I've decided to leave with y'all. Wherever you all will be going, I am sure it'll be better than being around your sister-in-law and Voldemort." Severus stated. "And I'm not about to leave Minerva in the hands of the other death eaters."

Snape yelled for the two who were no where to be found. "Draco! Narcissa!" He looked back at Lucius in distress. "We're late. He's coming any moment."

"Severus, why couldn't you give us a warning sooner?" Lucius snapped.

"I had to escape from Voldemort. We need to go! Right now!" Snape told them.

Mcgonagall could see out the window, Bellatrix opening the large gate and confidently walking onto the property.

"Bellatrix is here!" The previous professor proclaimed. "Voldemort won't be far behind! We need to get Draco and get out!"

Lucius panicked as he ran up the steps calling out for his son. "Get your stuff, Draco! We are leaving!"

"Yes, father." He said as he grabbed only a small pack on his back. He left his bedroom, peering down to see Lillian, Snape, Mcgonagall, and Moony all in the foyer.

"Where's mom?"

"I don't know. I'll find her!" Lucius yelled for his wife upstairs. "Narcissa! Your sister, she's here! We have to go now!"

The woman ran from the bedroom to the lower level. They were all downstairs now in the entranceway, rushing to the quickest exit out of the room. Suddenly, Bellatrix knocked down the door with the force of her wand. It caused them to jump with alarm, sprinting to the nearest room. Her laugh echoed through the halls.

They were too late, Bellatrix was fully equip with her wand and most of them were wandless. Lillian and Snape were the only ones that had their wands.

As Bellatrix gradually walked into the dining room, she could sense someone there with her.

The group couldn't find a proper hiding spot in time. Lillian, Draco, and Moony hid under the long dinner table, luckily there was a new tablecloth that hid them from sight. Snape and Mcgonagall found themselves behind the black curtains.

Lucius and Narcissa sat behind a large pillar close to the wall. The two enclosed their hands together as they heard Bellatrix yell for their son.

The boy heard his crazy aunt call out his name. "Draco! Come out now! I know you are here!Lucius? Cissy?" She questioned.

Bellatrix shuffled over as she saw movement under the dining table. Lucius could only think of one thing to do as both his wife and him, looked beyond to see the woman reaching for the tablecloth. Lucius jumped to his feet. "Bellatrix!" He stated. "What brings you here?"

"Where's Draco and Cissy?"

"They went out. It will be a while before they come back from town. Why do you want to see them?" He asked.

"Voldemort is coming and I would like to speak to Draco." They all heard a figure coming from the front door. Bellatrix yelled for him. "My Lord!"

Lucius felt like running away and never returning but he couldn't. He had to do what was needed to be done for his family to survive. He knew he had to distract them before it was too late. His son had to get out of this house and get far away from here.

"Follow me." Lucius told Voldemort, redirecting him out of the room back into the foyer.

"Tell me, Lucius. Where is your son?" Voldemort questioned him.

Lucius made an uneasy sigh. "My wife and son left not too long ago. Why are you here?"

He ignored Lucius's question. "Where did they go, Lucius?" He paused. "You understand I do not hesitate to kill someone who has lied to me."

"Yes, my Lord." Those words could barely come out of his mouth.

Voldemort changed the subject instantly as held his wand in view. "This is my original wand. I can't use the elder wand. It cannot serve me properly because I am not its true master. The elder wand belongs to the wizard who disarmed its last owner. Your son disarmed Dumbledore, Lucius. This means he will need to die. You have a good and loyal boy but I'm afraid only I can live, Lucius. While Draco lives, the elder wand cannot truly be mine. Only I can live forever. Now, tell me where your son is and I will spare you and your wife from my wrath."

All of a sudden, Lucius heard a scream come from Lillian echo throughout the walls. He heard the voice of Bellatrix. "You! Lillian Potter!" She spat. "She's a half blood! You were hiding a half blood, a Potter!" Bellatrix screamed in rage. "Traitors! You are a blood traitor, Cissy! Both you and Lucius! How dare you defy the Dark Lord!?"

Lillian's cries became louder, full of terror.

Lucius turned to see Bellatrix having Lillian within her grasp, clutching her, bringing her wand to her throat. Bellatrix pushed the girl down to the ground in front of Voldemort and Lucius. "Harry Potter's sister." The Dark Lord mumbled in disbelief. He then looked back at Draco's father. "Tell me, where is your son? Or all of you will die, starting with this Potter girl."

Bellatrix threw Lillian's wand from her grasp onto the floor. She laughed as she announced. "Draco! You are friends with Lillian? You mentioned her many times. I would hate to see this poor innocent girl be killed." Bellatrix took a knife and let the girl's blood seep through her shirt, staining it. The cut was deep against her arm.

"Aunt Bella has Lillian!" Draco whimpered as he ran out the door, clearly out of breath. "I tried escaping but Lillian got caught! We have to go save Lillian and father!"

Narcissa didn't hesitate to grab the doorknob and open the back door once again. Fear wouldn't stop her from saving her husband, even if she had no wand to protect herself.

"No! I'll go! Get to safety!" Snape said as he pushed her from the door and rushed inside with his wand in hand.

It wasn't the smartest idea to just blindly go into the front foyer but Snape didn't have time for a plan. "Severus?" Voldemort questioned him as he saw Snape's wand being pointed directly at him. "It's a pity, Severus. You were my favorite."

"Let her go!" Snape demanded. In one moment, Snape heard those two dreadful words.

"Avada Kedavra!" Voldemort screamed. For a split moment, two thoughts came to Snape's mind. Lillian was dead or he was dead. Instead, he saw Voldemort's wand point at Lucius; the green magic struct him within a second. Lucius dropped instantly, falling to the floor, lifeless.

Before Voldemort even lifted his wand, Snape yelled in anger. "Sectumsempra!" He could see the Dark Lord lying on the ground, next to Lucius, pitifully in his own blood, but still barely breathing.

Suddenly, Bellatrix came running toward Snape, knocking him down. When she noticed the Dark Lord painfully on the ground before her, she screamed in fury. "You filthy half blood! I never liked you!"

Snape got up, lifted Lillian to her feet, Lillian grabbed her wand, and both ran as fast as they could out the back door of the mansion. He sensed no one was following. He looked back in the window to see Bellatrix mumbling. "Vulnera Sanentur." The Dark Lord's blood had gradually disappeared and filled Voldemort's body once more. Voldemort would be okay. He knew the spell Avada Kedavra wouldn't work, he's immortal after all. The only way for him to die, is for Nagini to be killed first.

The rest of the group laid low at the edge of the woods, looking out to see the Malfoy manor. Lucius, Lillian, nor Snape were no where to be seen. It felt forever had passed as their eyes grazed over their surroundings. They had to leave soon or they would be spotted. "Moony, lead Draco into the forest!" Draco's mother demanded Moony as she pushed the elf toward her son.

"No, mom! I'm not going anywhere!" Draco started.

"Do as I say!" She ordered. Draco remained quiet as he realized his mother seemed furious.

Moony grabbed Draco's hand. "Come on, master Draco." The elf said, leading him onward into the forest.

Minerva and Narcissa waited impatiently for Lucius, Lillian, and Snape. Narcissa was about a second away from leaving Minerva, dashing out of the woods, and back into her house, in hopes to find her husband.

Instead, she saw a dark figure running toward them, someone clearly following him. At first she was frightened it was Voldemort or her sister, but then as the two figures came closer, her vision became clear. Severus and Lillian rushed toward them until finally coming to the edge of the woods. Both of the women stood up, Narcissa rushing to Snape in fear. She had disbelief written on her face as she heard Snape utter. "I tried to stop Voldemort but he killed him. Lucius is gone."
