James and Regina walked out of the hospital room and looked at Mary and Emma. "What are you two doing here" Regina asked. "They're with me" David said. "This is a crime scene. Civilians aren't supposed to be here. Seriously David I thought you knew that. Do I have to teach you how to do your job now" James asked. "I know how to do my job. They're staying" David said glaring at James. "What happened to John Doe? Did someone take him" Mary asked. "We don't know yet. His IVs were ripped out, but there's no sign for sure that there was a struggle" Graham said. "What did you guys do" Emma asked. James and Regina looked at Emma. "You think we had something to do with this" Regina asked. "Well it wouldn't surprise me since destroying people's lives is kind of what you two do" Emma said. "David you should really teach your daughter manners although considering she came from you I'm not surprised she acts like she was raised in a barn" James said.
Emma went to lunge for James but David pulled her back behind him. "Emma has fine manners. She's just really good at telling when people are no good and she's pegged the two of you perfectly. Besides I agree with her it is curious that the Mayor's are here" David said. "We're here because we're his emergency contact" Regina said. "Figures" Emma said under her breath. "You guys know him" Mary asked. "We found him on the side of the road years ago with no ID. We brought him here. I guess you can say were almost like heroes" James said looking at David and smiling. David rolled his eyes. Dr Whale walked up to the group. "They saved his life. They really are heroes" he said. "Will he be okay" Mary asked. "Okay? The man's been on feeding tubes for years, under constant supervision. He needs to get back here right away or, quite honestly, Okay might be a pipe dream" Dr. Whale said. "Well then let's stop standing around and start looking" David said walking away.
"That's what we're doing" Regina said. David rolled his eyes and turned around. "Come on honey I'm sure David isn't completely incompetent to where he can't find a simple missing person" James said. "Just find him without the peanut gallery. Now if you'll excuse us we have to get home. Our son will be getting home from school soon " James said. Regina looked at Graham. "Sheriff, find John Doe. I don't want our deputy going out alone. You never know what might happen. Also you heard Dr. Whale, time is precious" Regina said as her and James walked away. "Doctor, how long between your rounds since you last saw him" Graham asked Dr. Whale. "Twelve hours or so" Dr. Whale said. "Then thar's what we need to account for" Graham said. David looked at Dr. Whale. "We're going to have to check the security cameras" he said. Dr. Whale nodded his head. "Of course. Follow me. I'll take you to them" Dr. Whale said as they all followed him.
James and Regina were home preparing dinner when Regina turned to James. "James dear why didn't you have a problem with David going to find the John Doe? He obviously knows it's Fredrick. If he finds out what we did to him he could ruin all of our plans" Regina said. James took Regina in his arms and pulled her close. "That's not going to happen. David won't find out until it's too late for him to do anything about it. Fredrick is the perfect weapon to use against David" James said. "We don't even know if he'll be on our side. For all we know he'll side with your brother like everyone else does" Regina said. James turned Regina to look at him. "Yes we do because we have the ace up our sleeve that we still haven't played yet" James said as he pulled out his cell phone and dialed a number. Regina smiled. "Hello he's here and he's going to be so excited to see you" James said into the phone. James smiled. "Perfect he'll be at the hospital tonight at like 8 o'clock sharp" James said. "Great I'll see you there" James said hanging up the phone. James kissed Regina passionately. "Everything's going according to plan. David has no idea who he's going to find when he finds Fredrick and I just secured he's on our side in this war" James said. Regina wrapped her arms around James and smiled. "I love when you take charge. I find it really sexy" Regina said kissing James. James smiled at her. "How about after dinner I show you how sexy I can be" James said kissing her back. Their plan was falling into place. Fredrick was their secret weapon and David wasn't even going to see him coming.
