David Mary Margaret Emma and Graham were all standing in the surveillance room watching the tv monitor with Leroy and another man who David recognized as Sleepy. "You two were the only employees on the floor last night and you saw nothing" Graham said while the man sitting by the tv monitors starting yawning. "Not a thing" he said. "Did anyone walk by" David asked. "I didn't see nothing" Leroy said. "Miss Blanchard was there anything unusual you saw during your trip with your class" Graham asked. "I don't think so" Mary said shaking her head. Emma walked over to the monitors. "We're looking at the wrong tape" she said. David looked closer at the monitor. "She's right. This is the ward where Miss Blanchard's class put up decorations if this really was the tape from last night we'd see the banner the kids hung" David said. He turned and looked at Emma proudly. "Good job honey" he said. Emma smiled at him. "Thanks dad" she said.
"You fell asleep again" Leroy said to the man sitting by the tv. The man looked over to Leroy. "You selling me out" he said. "I'm not getting fired for this" Leroy said. "At least I don't drink on the job" the man said. "Gentlemen enough. Where's the real tape" Graham asked. The man sitting by the tv got the real tape and played it for them. They all watched as the John Doe left his room and exited the hospital. "He walked out alone. He's OK" Mary said. "Four hours ago. Where does this door lead" David asked pointing to the door Fredrick walked through. "The woods" Leroy said. Everyone turned to look at him. David turned to Graham. "We should go find him" he said. Graham nodded in agreement. David turned to Emma and Mary. "We'll be back" David said. "I'm coming with you" Emma said. "Yea me too" Mary said. David shook his head. "It's too dangerous" he said. "We'll be fine" Emma said. "Yea I just want to know he's OK" Mary said.
"No you guys are staying here" David said. He didn't know what they were going to find out in the woods and he didn't want Emma or Mary to get hurt or something. They were the two most important people to him and he was going to protect them. Emma pulled him off to the side. "I'm coming with you" Emma said. "No your not. Your going to stay with Mary and that's final. I'll be back soon" David said. Emma leaned in close to her father. "What if this something the savior has to be there for? That is what I'm supposed to do right" Emma said. David looked at Emma who just smiled at him. He let out a frustrated sigh. She played the savior card and she was right. They were here to break the curse and whether he liked it or not Emma was the savior and she was going to have to help everyone here. Obviously Fredrick was first up. "Fine you two can come but you stay close and don't do anything dangerous" David said. They both nodded and they all left the room to go find the John Doe.
James and Regina sat in their car with Fredrick in the backseat. "You know what to do right" James asked. Fredrick nodded his head. "Lure your brother into the woods by himself and then take care of him" Fredrick said. James and Regina both looked at each other smiled and nodded. "He's a very bad man. He killed my father and is trying to take Henry away from us. He only pretends to be good" Regina lied faking a couple tears. Fredrick put his hand on her shoulder. "Don't worry. I won't let him cause you anymore pain" he said. James smiled at him. "We appreciate that. We're worried about Henry and Emma too. My brother is a horrible man who takes pleasure in other people's misery. Who knows what he's doing to that poor girl" James lied. Fredrick looked at him. "Your brother's not going to be able to hurt anyone anymore I'll see to it" Fredrick said. James nodded his head and smiled. "Thank you. You are doing the town of Storybrooke a service" he said. Regina handed Fredrick a knife.
"I'll let you know when it's done" Fredrick said as he got out of the car. James and Regina watched as Fredrick ran into the woods. They turned to each other and smiled. "Looks like he does have his uses after all" Regina said. "He's going to be very helpful to us even if he fails to take care of David" James said. "We might have to keep him around. His cursed self is a good pawn to have" Regina said. "Even if David is still around after tonight he'll be so focused on Fredrick that he won't be as much of a nuisance to us anymore. Besides I have something else in store for David to keep him busy and away from Henry but most importantly it will keep him and Snow White apart" James said. Regina smiled. "Then all we have to do is deal with Emma to make sure she never breaks the curse" Regina said. James stroked Regina's face. "I'm not going to let David ruin our lives again. His daughter either. Him and Snow have caused us enough pain" James said. Regina smiled. "I love you" she said. "I love you too" James said and they passionately kissed in the car. In the woods Fredrick stopped running. He cut the hospital tag off his wrist and cut the palm of his hand letting blood fall onto the leaves. He left a trail of blood for David to follow. Once he took care of David Storybrooke would be safe.
