In the enchanted forest, Snow and Charming arrived at the docks where Jack's ship was. They got off the horse they were riding. "Hyah" Snow yelled sending the horse away. Snow exhaled. "We walk from here. Follow me and keep quiet. Also no dragon stuff. I'm sure you've heard what these pirates like to do to dragons" she said looking at Charming. Charming nodded. "I heard" he said. "Good so be careful" Snow said. Charming smiled. "If I didn't know any better I'd say you were actually concerned for me" Charming said smugly. Snow rolled her eyes. "Don't flatter yourself. I just want to make sure you get back to your fiancé in one piece. I don't need you disappearing while you are with me and having more royals coming after me" Snow said walking away. Charming followed her smiling. They walked onto the empty ship cautiously. "Where are they" Charming asked. "They're here" Snow said. Just then pirates came out from all around them pointing their swords at them. They were surrounded.
The pirates moved in closer to them. One of them grunted at Charming when he looked at them. Another one snarled at them. Charming looked around them worried. If he couldn't use his magic they were in trouble. "It's fine. I know them" Snow said when she saw Charming looking around nervously. "Back again I see. I guess you couldn't resist my charms" Jack said from behind Snow and Charming. They looked and saw him on the top deck of the ship. "I'm just curious why are you back? I thought we made our deal" Jack asked. "I want to make another trade" Snow said. Jack looked at Charming there was something about him. "Deals are done in private. Although tell me who is your boyfriend" Jack asked walking over to Charming and examining him. Snow rolled her eyes. "He's not my boyfriend. He's with me don't worry about him" Snow said. Jack looked down at his hand. His ring was lighting up. He smiled.
"That's good. Of course he's with you" Jack said smiling. Charming didn't like the way Jack was smiling at him but he kept his mouth shut. "This makes everything fine" Jack said still smiling at Charming. "He's no one. Look, I want to buy back the jewels I sold you" Snow said. Jack turned to look at Snow. "No your wrong. He's the most important person on this ship right now" Jack said turning back to look at Charming. "What is your name" Jack asked Charming. "Don't worry about him" Snow said stepping in between Charming and Jack. His ring stopped glowing. Jack looked down at it again. "Look, I'll give you back all of your money. Give me the jewels back" Snow said. One of the pirates snarled. Jack looked at Snow and smiled. "Fine you can have your jewels back" Jack said motioning to his men. "Thank you. We appreciate the help" Charming said. Jack laughed. "No you misunderstand. She can have the jewels but you your staying with us" Jack said.
Before Charming could react a bunch of pirates jumped him. Charming fought back as best he could without using his magic. One of the pirates grunted as Charming punched them hard. "Did you really think you could set me up" Jack said as the pirates continued to beat on Charming. "No it's not a setup" Snow said as two of the pirates held up a beaten and bruised Charming. "He's the son of Maleficent and the horned king. He's the striking image of the king" Jack said. While they were distracted Charming was able to break out of the pirate's arms and knock them out. Jack grabbed Snow and pulled out his sword. "Take care of him" Jack said to his pirates. Charming pulled out his sword. "Let her go" he demanded to Jack. The pirates ganged up on Charming making him drop his sword. They pinned him against the side of the ship. "No! you can trust me. Look, you can trust me. If I wanted to set you up, I would have. Don't hurt him" Snow said.
"No more deals. We're taking him and your going to leave my ship" Jack said. He turned to his pirates. "Search him" he ordered them. One pirate emptied the bag he was carrying while two pirates worked on Charming. One of them unbuckled his scabbard while the other one started cutting his doublet off him. He started with the sleeves which fell down Charming's arms. Another one took off his gloves. Then the other pirate cut the sides of the doublet watching as it fell off Charming's body and to the floor leaving Charming in his white tunic. The pirate grabbed the destroyed doublet and lifted it up. The necklace with the fairy dust Charming took from Snow earlier fell from it. The pirate lifted the necklace up. They examined it and decided it was nothing so they threw it on the floor. Jack threw Snow to the side of the ship and the pirates grabbed her. Snow grunted as she tried to get out of the pirate's grasp.
One of the pirates found the wanted poster in Charming's bag and started laughing. "Captain you have to see this" the pirate said handing the poster over to Jack. Jack laughed as well. "Well it looks like you both have value to me after all Snow white. This is quite a reward" Jack said holding up the poster. All of the pirates chuckled. They captured Snow White and Maleficent's dragon son. They were going to be so rich. Jack walked up to Charming. "Your obviously not the king so you must be the other one" Jack said. Jack held up his ring which was glowing. "Tell me do you know what this is" Jack asked. Charming glared at him. "It's a ring that glows when it's around a dragon. It exposes dragons" Charming said still glaring at Jack. Jack smiled at him. "Very good" he said patting Charming on the head. Charming wanted nothing more than to wipe that smug smile off the pirate king's face. "Now show me those pretty wings of ours. I want to see what the buyers will be buying" Jack said.
Charming and Jack stared each other down. Charming surprised Jack and headbutted him. "Go to hell" Charming said. One of the pirates pinning Charming to the side of the ship punched him in the face hard. The wind got knocked out of Charming as another pirate pulled out their sword and held it to Charming's throat. "Stop. There are ways to get the dragon to cooperate" Jack said. He turned to look at Snow. "Take her down to my cabin. I'm going to have some fun with her" Jack said to the pirates restraining Snow. Charming looked at two ropes on the side of the ship. He had a plan. He moved his fingers and the ropes came to life wrapping around the two pirates holding him freeing him from their grasp. He punched them in the face knocking them out. He ran and grabbed his sword from the floor and charged after the two pirates holding Snow. He yelled as he ran up to them. He knocked the sword out of the first pirate's hand and punched him in the face. He magically froze the second pirate.
Another pirate came up behind Charming and tried to attack him but he disappeared at the last second. The pirate looked around confused. Charming reappeared behind him and knocked him out with the butt of his sword. Since they knew he was a dragon it didn't matter if Charming used his magic against them now. Another pirate charged after Charming and Charming punched the pirate in the face hard. The pirate grunted as he fell to the floor. Another pirate charged at him and Charming struck him with his sword. He turned to Snow. "Go! I'm right behind you" Charming yelled to her as she ran. Snow picked up the necklace with the fairy dust as she passed it. His eyes turned yellow. "I've got teach these pirates a lesson" Charming said as he transformed into his dragon form. Jack smiled. His plan had worked. The prince had transformed into a dragon and his wings were beautiful. The way they sparkled in the sunlight. They were going to make a lot of money off those wings.
Charming roared so loudly that it shook the whole boat. Then he flew up into the air. Charming flew around the ship and used his fire breath to destroy the ship and it's weapons which were used to capture dragons. Some of the pirates started jumping off the ship into the water. Jack just stood behind a cannon. "Come to papa" Jack said wanting Charming to come toward him. Charming looked down and saw one cannon left. He flew directly at it getting ready to destroy it with his fire breath. Jack set the cannon off and before Charming knew it he was trapped in a net. Charming fell onto the ship hard. He tried to transform back into his human self but he couldn't. The net was preventing his powers from working. It was a magical net able to trap dragons and weaken them. Charming roared for help hopping he would be loud enough for his mother or someone to him. He wasn't able to roar loud enough though as the net continuously weakened him.
"Follow me" Snow panted as she ran away from the ship. "They don't know the forest like I do" Snow said. She stopped when she heard a dragon yell. She turned around and saw a dragon in a net on the pirate ship. She knew that dragon had to be Charming. She thought for a moment. She could leave and start a new life and never have to worry about Regina and James again but Charming did save her. It was a difficult decision. She looked down at the necklace in her hands she had an idea. Back on the ship Jack walked up to the captured dragon laughing. "Your wings are beautiful. They're going to make me a very rich man" Jack said as two pirates walked up to him. "Cut off his wings but keep the dragon alive. I want him to miss his wings before we kill him" Jack said. The pirates walked over to Charming and pulled out their swords. Charming watched nervously as the pirates walked up to him. He was about to lose his wings and there was nothing he could do about it.
"Not with those" Jack called out and the pirates turned to look at him. "Use this" Jack said pulling out Charming's sword which had fallen to the floor when he transformed. "Use his own blade to cut off his wings" Jack said laughing. The other two pirates laughed to as one of them grabbed Charming's sword. They walked back over to where Charming was captured in the net and Charming lay there trying to muster up enough strength to stop them but it was no use. The net was making him too weak. "You are giving up your wings to a very good cause. Us" one of the pirates said laughing. Charming just laid there too weak to stop the inevitable from happening. The pirate raised Charming's sword about to cut off his wings when all of a sudden he turned into a cockroach. Charming and the pirates looked up and saw Snow standing there. The other pirate charged at Snow and she threw the fairy dust at him. She turned to Jack about to throw the dust on him.
"It's been fun but if you don't mind I think I'm going to leave" Jack said throwing a potion on the floor which released a lot of smoke. Snow looked away for a second and when she looked back Jack was gone. She looked around but didn't see him anywhere. Charming weakly roared and Snow looked at him. She saw his sword laying by the net picked it up and cut him free from the net. Charming transformed back into his human self. Snow handed him back his sword which he took as he looked at her in shock. "You…You saved me" Charming said in disbelief having trouble standing. Snow helped him up. "It was the honorable thing to do" Snow repeated his words from earlier back to him. She took the necklace off from around her neck. "What about Regina and James" Charming asked. Snow looked down at the necklace and shrugged. "I'll think of something else" she said throwing the necklace on the floor. "Thank you" Charming said sincerely.
Charming picked up his scabbard and buckled it around his waist. He sheathed his sword. Him and Snow picked up their belongings. "Anyway, how could I let Prince Charming die" Snow asked walking up to him handing him things to put back in his bag. "I told you, I have a name" Charming said. Snow smiled at him. "It's David" Charming said. "It's nice to meet you, David" Snow said still smiling at him. "We should go find your jewels and hurry. We might want to get off this ship before more pirates come" Snow said. Charming nodded and him and Snow what remained of the ship for the jewels. Charming hoped Jack didn't have them on him. He breathed a sigh of relief when Snow found them in his cabin. She gave them back to Charming and he threw them into his bag lifted the bag over his shoulder and they both started walking off the ship. As they left Charming stepped on one of the cockroaches.
In Storybrooke, David walked deep into the forest shining his flashlight so he could see better. He heard a wolf howl and looked around. Fredrick had to be around here somewhere. He continued walking and heard another twig snap. He turned around and was met with a fist to the face. David dropped the flashlight and tried to get his bearings back after being surprised by the punch. "What the hell are you" David started to ask but was cut off by another punch to the face. While David was stunned by the punch Fredrick walked behind him and kicked his legs dropping David to his knees. Fredrick wrapped his arms around David and put him in a chokehold. David struggled against Fredrick trying to free himself but Fredrick was to strong. "Your not going to hurt anyone anymore. Your going to pay for your crimes" Fredrick said. David could feel himself losing consciousness from the lack of oxygen and started punching Fredrick.
David's punch's did no good and he started to drift off his last thought being of Emma and Snow. Within seconds David's body went limp in Fredrick's arms and he was out cold. Fredrick placed the unconscious deputy on the floor and stood over his body. He took out his knife and raised it ready to save Storybrooke from the deputy's evil once and for all. Just as he was about to strike he heard something in the woods. He turned toward where he heard the noise and raised his knife. "Who's there" Fredrick asked. He heard the noise again and started to walk over to where he heard the noise. When he reached where he heard the noise he looked behind a bush and saw nothing. No one was there. He turned back around walking over to David's unconscious body when something hit him in the back of the head hard. He fell to the floor unconscious. David's stalker stood above his attackers unconscious body with a rock.
No one was going to kill David. They had plans for him. The stalker walked over to David's unconscious body and started stroking his cheek. "Don't worry I've taken care of the bad man. You'll be safe with me" the stalker said. They weren't planning on taking the prince this soon but this would be the best way to protect him. The stalker lifted David's legs and started dragging his unconscious body away. "Dad where are you" the stalker heard Emma call out. The stalker looked around contemplating what to do. They decided it would be best to leave the prince here and let his family find him. They dropped his legs and stroked his cheek again. "Soon" the stalker said and they ran into the woods before anyone saw them. Emma Mary and Graham walked down the path looking for David. Graham stopped and picked up something. He looked at Emma and Snow and showed them the flashlight. "It's David's flashlight" he said.
"Oh, god" Mary said. "Dad" Emma yelled freaking out. "Follow me" Graham said walking further down the path. Emma and Mary did as they were told and followed Graham. "Where is he? Can you see him" Mary asked. "The trail dies at the water line" Graham said. Emma pulled out her phone and called her dad's number. They heard the phone ringing and all turned to look at where it was coming from. They saw David unconscious laying in a puddle. "Oh, my god! Oh, my god! Oh, my god" Mary said running to David. "Dad" Emma cried out as she ran to him to. Graham started running to David as well but saw Fredrick lying unconscious across the way. He went to check on him. Graham pulled out his walkie. "I need an ambulance at the old toll bridge as soon as possible" Graham said into it. Mary and Emma reached David. "We need to get him out of the water" Mary said. Her and Emma lifted David out of the puddle. "Hang on. Hang on. Hang on" Emma said.
"I'm falling, falling, falling. I'm falling" Mary said as she put David down. "Keep going" Emma said. They carried David's unconscious body. "Hold on. I feel we need to slow down. Slow down. Slow down" Mary said. They gently put David's body down on the ground out of the water. "No, no, no, no, no. You have to be OK" Mary said. "Come on dad. Please wake up" Emma cried taking her father's hand. "I can't do this without you" Emma whispered into his ear. Mary put a comforting hand on Emma's shoulder. "It's going to be OK. He's going to be OK" Mary said. Emma gave her sad smile as Graham ran over to them. "Help's coming. They both must have been attacked by the same person" Graham said. "They" Mary asked. Graham nodded and pointed to where Fredrick lay unconscious. Both Mary and Emma looked at Fredrick. Mary turned her attention back to David and started shaking him. Mary put her ear to David's chest trying to see if she could hear his heartbeat. She did thank god.
"Come back to us" Mary said. "Come back to me and mom" Emma whispered into David's ear. Mary grunted as she started beating down on his chest five times. Then she opened his mouth and put her lips to his. She moved away and everyone stared at David hopeful. Then David started spluttering. He gasped and he woke up. "Dad your OK" Emma said hugging him. He hugged her back and didn't let her go. He saw Mary looking down at him. He smiled at her. The two most important people to him were here and he was happy because his last thought was that he would never see them again. He held out his hand for Mary to take and she looked at him surprised. He nodded his head knowing what she was thinking and she leaned down and took it. "Are you OK" Mary asked. "I am now" David said smiling as he held Emma in his one arm and Mary held onto his other hand. "You saved me. You both did" he said looking between Emma and Mary.
"Thank you" he said. "Anytime" Mary said. Emma just buried herself deeper into her father's chest. "What happened David" Graham asked. David looked up at Graham. "I was attacked by the John Doe" David said. "What" Emma asked lifting her head shocked. "He surprised me and knocked me out. I thought he was going to kill me but lucky for me you guys were here to stop him" David said. Emma shook her head. "Dad we didn't do anything" she said. "What" he asked confused. Emma pointed to Fredrick's unconscious body. David looked at where she pointed and stared in shock. "He was like that when we found you. We thought you were both attacked by the same thing" Graham said. David turned back and looked at the three of them. "If you guys didn't save me then who did" David asked. They all stared at each other confused. David didn't know who saved him or why Fredrick attacked him but he was going to get answers. When Fredrick woke up he would have a lot of explaining to do.
