After David's clothes had finished washing he got dressed and went to the station. It was a quiet day. Not much had happened so he decided to do some investigating. First he investigated Olivia. He figured if someone was the stalker it was probably her. Back home in the enchanted forest Drizella was obsessed with him. If anyone was the stalker than it was probably her. David didn't find anything on her that indicated she was the stalker. He even checked her house and found nothing out of the ordinary. Next he started to investigate his brother and Regina. He looked through their phone records and emails for anything that could hurt him and Emma. There was nothing there. They were good at covering their tracks though. David was just hoping he could find something on them. That would have made his life so much easier. Him and Emma would just have to be really careful around them. He knew they were planning something.
Nothing really eventful happened the rest of the day. Graham had went home for the night. He said he had a date. David had his suspicions that the person who he had a date with was Emma. When he saw her come out of the woods the other night with her blouse unbuttoned he thought something definitely happened between them. David was getting ready to call her when his phone rang. "Hello" David answered. "Dad where are you" Emma asked. "I'm still at the station. I have tons of paperwork to do" he said. "Oh well I was hoping you would be home" Emma said. David got worried. "Why is everything OK" David asked. "Yea everything's fine I just thought we could hang out together" Emma said. David sighed a sigh of relief. "I'm sorry princess. I have all this paperwork to do and it's going to take me at least an hour but if you want I can leave right now and leave it for tomorrow" David said. "No it's fine I'll see you in the morning. Love you" Emma said. "Love you too" David said hanging up.
David was finishing up his paperwork when Olivia walked over to his desk. "OK I'm going to go home for the night. Is there anything I can do for you before I leave" she asked David. David nodded his head. "It would be helpful if you could deliver these files to the hospital for me if you don't mind" he said handing her the files. "Of course I will" she said taking the files. "Thank you" David said going back to his paperwork. The station phone rang and Olivia answered it. "Sheriff's station" she said. "Hold on one second" she said after a couple seconds. She turned to David. "Someone's on the phone for you" she said to David. David answered the phone at his desk. "Nolan" he said into it. "Hello deputy" a voice said on the other line. It was clear to David whoever this was was using a voice modulator to hide their voice. Olivia waved to David as she left. "Who is this" David asked as he started to track the phone call. The voice laughed into the phone. "You're the detective. Figure it out" the voice said.
"What do you want" David asked trying to keep this person on the phone so that he could track where they were. The voice laughed again. "Isn't it obvious? I want you" the voice said. "Why" David asked. "You intrigue me and I know that I could make you happy more than your wife or the school teacher can" the voice said. "Don't touch them" David said. The voice laughed again. "I wouldn't waste my time with them. All of my energy is focused on you" the voice said. Just then an email came through on David's computer. "You might want to check that deputy" the voice said. David clicked on the email and was shocked by what he saw. It was pictures of him getting undressed in Granny's laundry room. "I like seeing you like that. I can't wait until that body is all mine" the voice said. "That will never happen" David said. "We'll see. Check your desk" the voice said. David opened his desk and saw a gift wrapped addressed to him.
David opened it and saw a photo album. He looked through it and saw pictures of him around town, pictures of him sleeping and there were even pictures of him in the shower and him coming out of the shower in nothing but a towel. "What the hell" David asked. "I'm always there even when you don't know I am" the voice said. David looked around the office trying to find cameras or something. "Oh no there's no cameras. I'm just always around you and your going to have to work harder than that if you want to find out who I am" the voice said into the phone as David's computer beeped and a message saying that it couldn't find where the phone call was coming from came up on the screen. David looked at it in disbelief. How did this person get around the tracking system? "Why don't you reveal yourself and stop being a coward" David asked. "Now why would I do that? That takes all the mystery away from who your admirer is… Prince Charming" the voice said as they hung up.
David sat there stunned. Whoever this was knew about the enchanted forest and who he was back home. He knew he had to find out who this person was before they hurt him Emma or anyone else. Before he could investigate any further his computer beeped again letting him know of a break in at Gold's shop. David left the station and headed over to Gold's shop. When he arrived at Gold's shop he took one of his guns out of his shoulder holster and a flashlight and zipped his leather jacket up halfway as it was kind of chilly out. He got out of his truck and walked over to the front of the shop. When he got there he saw that one of the windows on the door was broken and the door was opened slightly. He walked in slowly with his gun raised and he turned on the flashlight. He could sense that whoever broken in was still here. "Come out with your hands raised" David yelled as he walked deeper into the shop.
The person came out from behind a desk and stepped into the beam of light coming from his flashlight. David looked at them shocked. "Ashley what are you doing" he asked lowing his gun. "Changing my life just like you said I should. I'm sorry" she said. Before David could respond she sprayed pepper spray in his face. He screamed in pain and dropped his gun and flashlight and put his hands to his eyes backing into a shelf and then hitting his head on a desk and falling to the floor unconscious. Ashley walked over and started patting David down. She unzipped his leather jacket and took it off his unconscious body and started shaking it and a bunch of items fell out of his jacket. She picked up the keys that fell on the floor. She knew the sheriffs office had the keys to every lock in Storybrooke. She walked over to the safe on the wall and tried the keys until they unlocked the safe. She opened it and took what was in it and put it in her pocket. She put on David's jacket and walked over to him and searched the pockets of his jeans. She found the keys to his truck and his wallet. She took his keys and the money and cards he had in his wallet and put the wallet back in his jeans. Then she took his phone as she would need a phone when she got out of this stupid town. "I really am sorry" she said to David's unconscious body as she ran out of the shop and across the street to his truck. She started the truck and drove off leaving David laying in the shop unconscious.
