David was driving back home. He had to drop Emma off there. If Mr. Gold really had something to do with this he didn't want Emma to get caught in the middle and get hurt. "You can't take me home. I can help" Emma said. David shook his head. "If Mr. Gold is involved I don't want you getting hurt" David said. "What about you? Your talking about double crossing Gold and breaking his deal. What if he hurts you? People don't normally break deals with him" Emma said. "I'll be fine. He can't just take Ashley's baby from her" David said. Emma nodded. "I agree we need to stop him but you can't do it by yourself. We're in this together" Emma said. "With both Gold and your uncle out there looking for Ashley it's too dangerous" David said. "They don't scare me. Besides I am the savior. Isn't stuff like helping Ashley what I'm supposed to do" Emma asked. David sighed in defeat. She had a point. "Fine but the first sign that it gets too dangerous you get out of there" David said. Emma nodded.
David turned around and headed back to Granny's. He needed to find out why Ruby didn't tell him about Ashley selling her baby. He parked the car outside of Granny's and him and Emma walked in. He saw Ruby wiping down the counters and walked up to her. "Why didn't you tell me she sold the baby" David asked. "I didn't think it was important" Ruby said walking away. "That's the reason she's running away. Of course that's important" David said. "Ashley's my friend. I don't like the idea of people judging her" Ruby said throwing down the rag she was holding and walking to the service window to get an order. David and Emma walked up to the window too and something caught Emma's eye. "Dad look" she said picking up the item. It was Emma's dream catcher she had made in the second grade for David that he hung on the rearview mirror of his truck. He never took it off. David took it from Emma. Ruby was giving people there orders.
"Ruby this was in my truck. She was here. You didn't send me to Sean's to find her you sent me there so that you could help her runaway" David said putting the dream catcher in his pocket. Ruby walked back behind the counter. "Look I'm only trying to help her which why I gave her some food for the road" Ruby said. "We're trying to help her too" Emma said. "Trust me Ashley's in more trouble than you know. Both Mr. Gold and my brother are after her. I'm trying to find her before they do. I can help her deal with the both of them. Where is she" David asked. Ruby thought for a second. "How do I know you won't just give her over to them" Ruby asked. "We just want the best for her. My dad is her best shot. Please help us Ruby" Emma said. Once again Ruby thought about this. She sighed. "She left town. She said she was going to try Boston thought she could just stay there" Ruby said. "How long ago did she leave" David asked. "About a half an hour" Ruby said. "Thank you" Emma said as her and David left.
David was driving heading to Boston to get Ashley. "Do we believe what Ruby said" Emma asked. "She really has no reason to lie. If she wants to help Ashley it's better we find her than Gold or James" David said. Emma's eyes grew wide as realization hit her. "Dad Ruby said Ashley was heading to Boston right" Emma said. "Yea" David nodded his head. "She can't leave the town which means" Emma started. "Something bad is probably going to happen to her when she tries to leave. Yea I thought about that" David said. "We have to stop her before she gets hurt" Emma said. David nodded. "I know" he said. Emma thought for a moment. "What do you think will happen if Gold or Uncle James find her before we do" Emma asked. "Well Gold will steal her baby and James" David said pausing for a minute to think. "Who knows what he'll do" David said. The possibilities were endless which is why they had to find her fast. "Ashley what did you get yourself into" David asked under his breath.
In the enchanted forest Charming Ella and Thomas all walked into Maleficent's castle. "Why are we here" Ella asked. "We need to find something that will stop James and Rumplestiltskin" Thomas answered. "My mother has all sorts of magical objects that can help you" Charming said looking at Ella who looked unsure. "Rumplestiltskin is the most dangerous man in all of the realms. He needs his own special prison. My mother is converting the mines to be able hold him" Charming said as they walked deeper into the castle. "How will we get him to the mines? He's alluded all forever" Ella asked. "We're going to use his greatest strength against him. His deals. He can't resist making them and he wants your baby so all we have to do is get him to make another deal with you" Charming said. "We've sent word with one of Snow's bluebirds. He's accepted the meeting. Their going to tell him that Doc heard something with his stethoscope. Two heartbeats" Charming said.
"Your going to tell him it's twins" Thomas said. "If he wants both which he will you propose a new deal" Charming said as they reached a door. Charming took off his glove and put his hand to the door. Ella stared in amazement as the door lit up and opened. "It's enchanted to only open for members of my bloodline" Charming said as he put his glove back on and walked in the room with Ella and Thomas following. "Don't touch anything. This stuff is really dangerous if you don't know how to use it" Charming said as the door closed behind them. The room was filled with a whole bunch of magical objects and potions. They just had to find the right ones they needed. Charming searched around until he found what he was looking for. "Here it is" Charming said as he walked over to Ella and Thomas with a box. He opened the box showing them the contents of what was inside. "A quill? I don't understand" Ella said confused.
"This quill is enchanted. Whoever signs with this will be frozen and their magic won't work. All you must do is get him to sign the contract. Ella this man is a scourge. Your doing the entire land a service" Charming said. Ella shook her head. "Should we even use magic? Isn't that what's causing these problems to begin with? What if this magic also has a price" Ella asked. "Than I will pay it. I will do whatever I need to to save you and our child" Thomas said grabbing her shoulder comfortingly. Thomas looked over to Charming. "What about your brother" he asked Charming. Charming closed the box. "Follow me" Charming said. They followed him deeper into the room. Charming stopped. He pointed to a jewel underneath glass. "Take that jewel" he said as Thomas walked over lifted the glass and took the jewel. He walked back over to them and Charming stepped back from them looking at the jewel scared.
"What is it" Ella asked. "That jewel is dangerous to anyone with dragon blood" Charming said looking at the jewel cautiously. Thomas looked down at the jewel in his hand. "It looks like any old jewel" he said. "I'll show you. Put the jewel on my chest" he said putting down the box with the quill on a table. Ella and Thomas looked at Charming unsure. "I'll be fine just make sure you get the jewel off me before it does too much damage" Charming said. Thomas walked over to Charming. "Are you sure about this" Thomas asked. Charming nodded his head. "Just don't keep it on me for too long" he said. Thomas put the jewel on Charming's chest. Instantly Charming roared out in pain and fell to his knees. The pain was excruciating. He roared so loud the castle shook as he fell to the floor on his back. He couldn't breathe. Thomas took the jewel off Charming's chest and put it in a bag. Thomas and Ella helped Charming to his feet.
"What was that" Ella asked. "That jewel is a torture device to dragons. It makes you feel excruciating pain and the longer you keep it on the worse it gets. When I was a young boy my father would use it on me and James all the time. He said we were worthless and feeling that pain will make us stronger. All it did was cause us pain" Charming said remembering all the bad memories of his father from his childhood. "That sounds horrible" Ella said. Charming nodded. "It was. My father was a cruel man. The jewel has to be removed by someone else so my father used that to torture me and James all the time. One time he left it on me for over six hours. I couldn't see straight for about a week. That will get James to back down" Charming said. It was cruel to do to James but he had to back down and this was a way to make sure that happened. His mother wouldn't be happy when she found out but he had to do it to help Ella and Thomas. Ella turned to Charming. "Are you sure about this" she asked. He nodded. "OK let's get them" Ella said.
In Storybrooke Ashley was driving David's truck she was about to leave Storybrooke when all of a sudden a car came out of nowhere and hit the back of the truck. The truck skidded off the road. Ashley felt a pain in her stomach. She moved over to the passenger side and got out of the car and started running. She fell to the floor in pain and screamed out. The driver of the other car got out and walked over to her. They kneeled down and Ashley could see the mayor kneeling in front of her. "Please help me" Ashley cried to him. James shook his head. "You see Miss Boyd we had a deal and you haven't held up your end of the bargain" he said. "You hit me with your car" Ashley said in shock. James nodded. "You promised me something and I want it" James said. "Call someone please I think the baby is coming" Ashley cried. "Where is it" James asked. Ashley screamed out again. "Well apparently your not going to be any help" James said as he got up and walked to the truck.
He searched everywhere but couldn't find what he was looking for. He walked back over to Ashley and grabbed her roughly. "Tell me where it is or Gold is the last thing you and your baby have to worry about" he said. "Please" Ashley cried. She was in so much pain. David was driving down the road. "Dad look" Emma pointed. David looked to where Emma was pointing. He saw his truck on the side of the road and a car next to it. It was obvious that car hit into his truck. "Your truck" Emma said in disbelief. Her father had that truck for as long as she could remember. She learned to drive in that truck. When she snuck out she would do it in that truck. She also lost her virginity in the backseat of that truck but her father didn't need to know that. She had been through a lot with that truck. It was a shock to see it on the side of the road. David parked the car and him and Emma got out. They ran over to the truck.
"Ashley" David called. He looked in the truck and saw all of his stolen items. His phone wallet and leather jacket but no Ashley. He saw the passenger side door opened and then he heard a scream. They ran over to where the scream came from. Ashley saw them. "My baby. It's coming" Ashley said. "James" David called and James turned around. James ran up to them. "Thank god you're here. I was just trying to help her" James said. David looked at James suspiciously knowing he was lying but now was not the time for that. Now he had to help Ashley who was about to give birth on the side of the road.
