Emma sat in the kitchen staring at the picture her father showed her of Graham hugging Regina. She wanted to believe that she could trust him. She really liked him but if he was going to go against her father she couldn't continue their relationship. She had to know the truth. Just then someone rang the doorbell. Emma put the picture in her pocket got up and answered the door. Graham was standing on the other side and smiling at her. That was just who she wanted to talk to. "Is David home" Graham asked. Emma shook her head. "No listen Graham I have something I have to" she started but was interrupted when Graham started kissing her shutting the door behind him. "I missed you" he said in between kisses. He started kissing her again but she stopped him. "I have to ask you something" Emma said. Graham looked at her confused. Emma took out the picture and handed it to him. "Are you working with Regina and James against my dad" she asked.
"Where did you get this from" Graham asked. "It doesn't matter. Can I trust you or are you working for Regina and James" Emma asked. Graham shook his head. "They were robbed. I helped them find the person who robbed them" Graham lied. Emma looked at him suspiciously suspecting he was lying. She wanted to believe him but she didn't know what to believe. Graham put a comforting hand on her shoulder. "I promise I'm not working with Regina and James against David. I actually like him" he said. Emma nodded her head. She was going to choose to believe him but she would keep her eyes on him. She took the picture from him and put it back in her pocket. She wrapped her arms around him and started kissing him. He pulled back from her. "Just out of curiosity where did you get that picture from" Graham asked. Emma thought for a moment. "I was in the area and took the picture. I didn't know what was going on. I'm sorry I should have just asked you about it" Emma said.
"It's OK. I forgive you" Graham said kissing her knowing she was lying. David must have taken the picture and been spying on him. They kissed each other passionately. They moved up to Emma's room. They started to take each other's clothes off. They ended up on the bed. Before they could get anymore heated the doorbell rang again. Emma looked up. She got off the bed and took her clothes off the floor. "You can go out the window" Emma said. Graham laughed. "What are we sixteen" he asked. "You have to leave" she said. Graham continued to laugh. "What do you think David is ringing the bell to his own house" Graham asked laughing while Emma put her clothes back on. Emma shook her head. "Whoever is at the door could tell my dad about you being here" Emma said finishing putting on her clothes. "So I'll say I was just looking for him" Graham said. "My dad's not stupid. He already suspects something is going on. It won't take that much for him to realize we're together" Emma said.
The doorbell rang again. Graham sighed picking up his clothes. He started putting them on. "Fine I'll go out the window like were teenagers" he said. He walked over to Emma and wrapped his arms around her. "I'll finish putting my clothes on and leave" Graham said kissing her. "Thank you" Emma said smiling at him. She gave him a quick kiss and left the room. She walked downstairs and answered the door. Henry was standing there. "Henry what are you doing here" Emma asked. "I have to talk to you" Henry said. "Of course come in" Emma said moving out of the way so Henry could walk in. Emma closed the door behind Henry. "So what's up" she asked. "I don't trust my parents. I know there lying to me about a lot of things. I wish they trusted me" Henry said. Emma looked at him sadly. She felt bad for him. James and Regina have been using him. "What do you mean" Emma asked pretending she didn't know what he was talking about.
"They are hiding something. There's something weird about this whole town. I can't quite put my finger on it but something weird is going on. I thought maybe you and uncle David might know since you guys aren't actually from this town" Henry said. He looked so sad and Emma couldn't take it. He was family and she was the savior so she had to help him. "I think I might know what's going on but your going to have to trust me" Emma said. Henry looked at Emma feeling confident that he could trust her. He nodded. "I do" he said. "Follow me" Emma said walking into the living room. She opened a drawer in a table and pulled out a small box. "What's that" Henry asked as Emma pulled a rock out of the box. "This is something that can help you remember" she said. "Remember what" Henry asked. Emma sighed. "What's going on in this town" she said. "Sit down. I'll be right back" Emma said. Henry sat on the couch and Emma came back a minute later holding a cup.
"What's in the cup" Henry asked. Emma sat down next to Henry. "Remember how I said you have to trust me? I can make sure you know the truth of what's going on here but in order for me to do that I need you to take this" she said handing the cup to Henry. Henry looked inside it and it looked like some weird medicine. "What is it" he asked again. "Something that will help you sleep" Emma said. Henry looked at her weirdly. "Why do you need me to sleep" he asked. Emma sighed again. "In order for you to see what's going on here your mind has to be relaxed. That's the only it works" she said. "What works" Henry asked suspiciously. Emma picked up the rock off the table. David had told her the only way the rock works is for the mind of the person to be relaxed or vulnerable. "Your parents, my father everyone in this town none of them are from here" Emma said. Henry nodded his head. "I know my parents told me we moved here when I was three" he said.
"That's not what I meant. Their not from this realm" Emma said. Henry just stared at her once again in confusion. "What do you mean not from this realm" he asked. Emma took a deep breath. "Everyone here is from somewhere called the enchanted forest" she said. Henry stared at her for a second then burst out laughing. "Wait a second. Your telling me everyone in this town is a fairytale character" he said. Emma nodded. "My parents hate fairytales. They say they're a waste of time" he said. "They would say that considering they cast the curse that sent everyone here" Emma said. Henry laughed again. "A curse? So what are you telling me my parents are the evil king and queen" he laughed waiting for Emma to start laughing. She just stared at him seriously. She wasn't kidding. Henry put the cup on the table and stood up. "I guess you can't help me. I'm going to go" Henry said starting to leave the room.
"I can prove it" Emma said standing up. Henry turned around. "How" he asked. "Just wait here please" Emma said. Henry thought about it for a minute but then he sighed and sat down on the couch. Emma ran upstairs and came down within in seconds. Henry saw she was holding a book. He rolled his eyes. "I don't need to read a bedtime story. I need to find out what my parents are lying about" he said. Emma sat down next to him. "I think this will answer a lot of questions" Emma said opening the book and flipping through it. She had looked at this book so much she knew it like the back of her hand. She got to the page she wanted and showed it to Henry. "You should see this" Emma said. Henry looked at the book and stared in shook. It was a picture of the evil king and queen but they looked exactly like his parents. Henry took the book from Emma and flipped through it. He saw pictures of Granny Ruby and Marco. He kept flipping. They were all in this book.
"I found it when I was 7. I couldn't believe it either" Emma said. Henry looked up at Emma. "If my parents are in this book and are the evil king and queen then who is your father and mother" he asked. Emma took the book and flipped to her favorite page. The page that as little girl she would stare at for hours as it was the first time she saw her mother. She had memorized everything about her mother and now she didn't need the book because she got to meet her. She looked at the page and smiled. Her parents looked happy. She still would sometimes spend hours staring at the page because her parents were together which is all she ever wanted. She wanted her family reunited and for her father to be truly happy like he was in this picture. She knew he missed her mother terribly. They would be together soon because she was going to break the curse. She handed the book to Henry and showed him the picture of her parents.
"That's Mary Margaret" Henry said. Emma nodded. "Her real name is Snow White and my dad is Prince Charming" she said. "Are you in this book" he asked. Emma flipped to the page of her as a baby. Henry looked at it and smiled. Emma looked like a cute baby. "How did you and uncle David escape the curse" he asked. "There was a magical wardrobe which could help us escape the curse. My father got us in it. He almost died that night but we escaped and made it here to this realm. Unfortunately my mother stayed behind to distract your parents. My dad's raised me for 18 years by himself" Emma said a tear in her eye thinking about everything she lost with her mother. Her father was great but sometimes growing up she wished she had her mother. "My parents took you away from your mother. They broke up your family" he asked. Emma nodded. Henry hugged her. "I'm so sorry Emma" he said. Emma hugged him back.
"My parents destroyed so many people's lives" Henry said. Emma nodded. "They wanted to get back at my parents" she said. "For what" Henry asked. Emma shrugged her shoulders. "I don't know. My dad doesn't like to talk about it but whatever it was it was really bad" she said. Henry continued flipping through the pages but stopped when he saw the picture of a woman. "Who's that" Henry asked. Emma looked at the picture and smiled. "That's our grandmother Maleficent. She's our father's mother" Emma said. Henry just stared at her. She looked so familiar like he'd seen her before nut he couldn't place it. Was it from a dream? No it couldn't be. She felt too real. "I've met her before" Henry blurted out. Emma looked at him doubtfully. She shook her head. "That's not possible. Uncle James told my dad he killed her to enact the curse" she said. Henry shook his head. "Well then my father lied because I've definitely met that woman" he said. Henry was sure he had met that woman before.
"Are you sure" Emma asked. "Yes" he said. He pushed the book aside and picked up the cup. He was about to drink it when Emma stopped him. "What are you doing" she asked. "I'm going to put myself to sleep so you can do whatever you have to with that rock thing to give me back the memories my parents stole from me" Henry said. "Your sure you want to do this" Emma asked. "I have to know what they've lied to me about" he said. Emma nodded her head and Henry drank the whole cup. They waited and within ten minutes Henry was asleep. Emma picked up the rock and placed it to Henry's head. It glowed and she waited. Nothing happened. She remembered what David told her. You have to say what memories you want to take out and put into someone's head. Here goes nothing Emma thought. "Rock thing give Henry back all of the memories that were stolen from him" she said and a beam appeared from the rock and went into Henry's head. Now she just had to wait for him to wake up.
At the hospital David had spent hours with Kathryn reminiscing about they're lives together. She finally decided she should get back to work. David walked out into the hallway putting his coat on when he saw James talking to one of the nurses. He walked up to him. "James" he said and James turned around. "David I hope everything went well with Kathryn" James said. "Yea we just spent hours talking about stuff that never happened that you made up. Thanks for that by the way" David said sarcastically. James smiled at him. "No problem. You were getting too close to Snow. I just wanted to remind you that you're married" he said. "Where is she" David asked looking around. "Who? Snow. She left hours ago. Don't worry David I set her straight. She won't be bothering you anymore" James said. David glared at his brother and formed a fist. "What did you say to her" he asked through gritted teeth. "Nothing really just that your married and she shouldn't be such a slut" James said.
Just then James's phone rang. He looked at it and smiled. "If you'll excuse me my wife is calling" James said answering the phone. "Hi babe" James said. "Are you with him" Regina asked. James looked at David confused. "With David? Yea he's right here" James said. "Not him. Henry. Is he with you" Regina asked. David noticed that James's face changed from a smug smile to a face that he knew well. He's had that face many times before. The face of a concerned father. "No I haven't seen Henry" James said. "Well he's not here" Regina said. Just then David's phone rang. He saw it was Emma. "Hello" David said. "Dad thank god I screwed up" Emma said really fast into the phone. "Whoa princess slowdown" David said. Emma took a deep breath. "I told Henry" Emma said. "You've seen Henry? You know where he is" David asked. "No I'm with Graham we're looking for him right now" Emma said. David felt his anger rising. "Your with Graham" he asked. "Yes we're looking for Henry and I told him" she said.
"Told him what" David said calming himself down. "About the you know what that you know who's cast and where all of the you know who's are from" she said speaking in code knowing her father would understand. After about a minute it finally clicked for David. "Emma why would you do that" he asked. "Look dad I know I'm in trouble and I will explain everything later we just have to find Henry" Emma said. "OK I'll go out and see if I can find him" he said. "Let me know" Emma said. "I will. Love you" David said. "I love you too" Emma said. David hung up. He walked over to James. "Henry's missing. I've got to go" James said. "I can help" David said. James shook his head. "No I'll find my son and I'll bring him home" he said starting to walk away. David grabbed his arm stopping him. "Come on you know no one is this town is better at finding people than me" he said. James pulled his arm out of David's grasp. "That's true when someone's lost but Henry's not lost. I know where he is" James said.
David and James had arrived at the hole that had formed the night before. They got out of their cars and saw Henry standing by the hole. "Henry" James yelled running to his son. He hugged Henry. "Thank god I found you. Me and your mother were so worried" James said as David walked up behind him. Henry pulled himself out of the hug and away from his father. "Don't touch me. I want nothing to do with you or mom" Henry said. James got serious and looked at his son with his face which Henry knew meant he was serious. "Henry get in the car right now young man. We will talk about this at home" he said. Henry shook his head. "No I'm not going anywhere with you. You and mom aren't going to get away with this" Henry said. James rolled his eyes. "What on earth are you talking about" he asked. "The curse you and mom cast. I'm going to help break it" Henry said. James stared at his son in shook how did he know.
"What did you say" James asked after he composed himself. "Emma told me everything. About the curse you and mom cast, all the lives you destroyed, all of the families you separated including hers. She grew up without a mother because of you" Henry said and then turned to David. "I'm sorry for what my parents did to you. You and Emma didn't deserve that" he said. James walked between Henry and David. "Henry please listen to me there's a lot you don't understand which I will explain at home" James said going to grab his son. Henry slapped his father's hand away. "No I'm not going anywhere with DAD or should I say evil king. All my life you and mom lied to me. You guys put me in therapy because you guys said I was crazy. Well now I remember everything including what your hiding in the mines" Henry said. James walked up to Henry and grabbed him. "That's enough. I am your father and your going to listen to me" he said.
Henry struggled to get out of his father's grasp. "We're going home" James said dragging Henry after him. Henry struggled and finally kicked his father hard in the knee. "I'm not going anywhere with you. I hate you and I wish you weren't my father" Henry yelled. David looked at James and saw the pain in his eyes and he knew it wasn't from the kick. "Maybe we should all calm down" David said walking over to Henry. "How can you defend him? He separated your family" Henry said. David looked at James. "He's still my brother and he's still your father. Even though he's done a lot of bad things it doesn't change the fact that he loves you" David said to Henry. Henry looked at his father. James looked at Henry hopeful. Henry scowled at his father and Uncle. He shook his head and looked at his father. "I'm going down into the mines and neither one of you are going to stop me. If you do I will tell mom your secret and you'll lose both of us" Henry said running into the mines.
"Henry" David started running after him but James stopped him. David turned around and looked at his brother shocked. "What are you doing? We have to get him" he said. James shook his head. "He'll be fine. If he has his memories back that means he'd know those mines like the back of his hands" James said. David shook his head. "We can't just leave him down there" he said. James nodded. "We're not going to" he said. David looked at him confused. "I know someone who can talk some sense into him" James said taking out his phone and walking away from David. David didn't know who James was calling but he knew one thing. James had a lot of secrets especially one he didn't want Regina to know. Those secrets had the potential to destroy everything James built which meant they could be dangerous to David and Emma too.
