David walked over to Kathryn. "We need to talk" he said. Kathryn nodded. "Come sit" she said patting the seat next to her. David sat down. He took a deep breath and turned to Kathryn. "Kathryn I don't think this is going to" he started to say but was interrupted by Kathryn kissing him. She started to pull off his open shirt. He pulled back from her and stood up. "What the hell are you doing" he asked pulling his shirt back over his Henley. "I'm trying to be close to my husband" Kathryn said standing up and walking over to David. He shook his head. "This isn't going to work" he said. Kathryn looked at him in shock. "Why? Was it something I did because we can work this out" Kathryn asked starting to feel the tears well up. David shook his head again. "It's nothing you did. This just isn't right. We don't belong together" he said. Now Kathryn was fully crying. David felt bad. He did like to see women crying especially when he was the cause of it.

"You're leaving me aren't you" Kathryn asked through her tears. David nodded his head sadly. "I'm sorry. It's the best thing for both of us" he said. "How is this the best thing for us? Your breaking up our family again" she yelled. "This marriage isn't working for either one of us and you know that's true" David said calmly. Kathryn just cried for a moment. "What about Emma? She's my daughter too and you took her childhood away from me. I won't let you take the rest of her life away from me too" Kathryn said. David thought for a moment about the best way to approach this. He didn't want to hurt her anymore than he already was. "Emma's 18. She's old enough to make her own decisions and you can still have a relationship with her. We're not leaving Storybrooke" David said. "No just me" Kathryn said bitterly. David walked closer to Kathryn and tried to console her but she stepped away from him. "I have to go" she said grabbing her keys and running out of the house.

Kathryn drove away from the house. She couldn't be around David right now. He had to talk to the one person she knew would help her through this. She got out of her car and ran up to the front door. She rang the doorbell and waited for an answer. The door opened and Regina stood there. She looked at Kathryn shocked. She could see that she had been crying. "Kathryn what's wrong" Regina asked as Kathryn hugged her and started crying. "He's leaving me" Kathryn cried. Regina pulled back from her. "Who's leaving you" she asked. "David. He said he doesn't want to be married anymore" Kathryn answered. This angered Regina. Hadn't David done enough to her family? He destroyed hers and James's lives back home, Henry wouldn't talk to them anymore because of Emma and now he was leaving Kathryn to go be with Snow. Something had to be done about him and Emma. "Come in" Regina said to Kathryn.

"Let me get you some tea" Regina said leading Kathryn to the couch. She walked into the kitchen. She was the only one home right now. James was doing some work on the other side of town and wouldn't be home until later and Henry had essentially moved out of the house. He was staying with his uncle and wouldn't come home. He was still mad at the two of them for lying to him. Regina got the tea ready and walked into the living room and sat next to Kathryn. She poured her some tea. "This will make you feel better" Regina said handing Kathryn the cup of tea. "Thank you" Kathryn sniffled. "Did David say why he was leaving you" Regina asked as Kathryn sipped her tea. "He said that our marriage isn't working and that we don't belong together" Kathryn answered. "Maybe he just needs time" she said. Kathryn shook her head. "I don't think he's going to change his mind. He doesn't loved me anymore" Kathryn said breaking out into tears again.

Regina pulled her into a hug. "Shhh David is just confused right now. I'm sure with time he will come to his senses and see that you are his true love" she said. Kathryn continued crying. "The thing that hurts the most is I don't even know what I did wrong. I don't know why he wants to end our marriage" she said. Regina just held her. She knew why David wanted to end their marriage and it was because of Snow White. She wasn't going to let it happen. David may leave Kathryn but he definitely wasn't going to be with Snow. She was going to make sure they were never together again no matter what she had to do.
