David was sitting in the station trying to find out who left the note where he had left his gun. When he left the school and opened the glove box he found the note instead of his gun. "You won't be needing this. Don't worry I'll take good care of it. Xoxo your secret admirer" the note said. David didn't know who this was but he didn't find it funny. He had to figure out who it was before they did something to hurt someone especially since they had a loaded weapon now. His loaded weapon to be exact. He searched the system to see if he could match the handwriting to someone who was in the system but nothing. Whoever this person was they were good at being invisible. He would find them though. That's what he was best at. He sighed in frustration. Not only was this person stalking him but James was a dick and might have ruined his chance with Snow. Hopefully she showed up. If she didn't David would be telling Regina about their mother.
"Hi dad" David heard Emma say which pulled him out of his thoughts. He looked up and saw Emma walking into the station with Graham. "Hey Emma, Graham where have you guys been" he asked closing out the screen on his computer before they saw. He didn't want to worry Emma about this stalker. "We were just with Henry talking about some Operation Cobra stuff" Graham said. David nodded. "Did you guys come up with anything" he asked. Emma shook her head. "No we have no idea what will break this curse but with the four of us working together I know we'll figure it out" Emma said. "Want one" Graham asked opening the box of doughnuts he was carrying. "Sure" David said taking one of the chocolate ones and taking a bite of it. "We stopped at the bakery and got your favorites" Emma said. "Thanks. Listen be careful guys. James is pissed Henry won't talk to him or Regina and I don't want him to take his anger out on you guys" David said.
"We're not scared of Uncle James" Emma said. "Yea I've been dealing with the mayors for 18 years. I think we'll be ok" Graham said. David nodded. "Just watch your backs. James and Regina can both be very dangerous when they want to be" he said. Emma nodded. "We'll be careful. I promise dad" Emma said. Graham went to walk to his office. Emma followed and David got up from his seat. "Hey Graham" David said. "Yea" Graham said turning around. "I was wondering if you could take care of the night shift tonight" David said. "Why" Graham asked. David rubbed the back of his head. "I'm kind of meeting someone tonight" he said. Emma looked at her dad confused. "What about mom" she asked. "That's who I'm hopefully meeting" David said. Emma smiled and jumped into David's arms hugging him. "I've been waiting for this for 18 years. This is so exciting. I didn't even know you guys were seeing each other" she said.
"Were not. At least not yet. She has to meet up with me tonight and then we can go from there" David said. "This is so exciting after tonight my parents will finally be together" Emma said. David sighed. "Yea if she actually meets up with me" he said walking back to his desk. "What are you talking about man? Of course she'll meet up with you. You two are meant to be together" Graham said. David nodded. "I think James might have scared her off" David said. "Why what did he do" Emma asked. "Like with everything he had to be a douche and he yelled to the whole school that the only reason I left Kathrine was because I was having sex with Snow. I haven't had the chance to talk to her yet. I'm going to call her when I leave her today" David said. Emma walked over to her father and hugged him. "Don't worry dad. She'll show up. I'm sure of it" Emma said. "Yea she'd be crazy not to show up" Graham said. "I hope you both are right" David said.
It was 4:00 and David's shift was over so David said goodbye to Graham and Emma and left the station. After about a half hour Emma left to pick up Henry. They figured they could all work on Operation Cobra stuff together. While they were talking together they heard a loud bang. "What was that" Henry asked. Graham shook his head. "I have no idea" he said. "I think it came from outside" Emma said. Graham got up and put on his leather jacket. "Wait here" he said to Emma and Henry. Emma shook her head. "No I'm coming with you" she said. "No you need to stay here. If it's dangerous…" Graham started to say but Emma cut him off. "You're going to need the savior" she said. She wrapped her arms around Graham. "Please let me come. You'd be the best boyfriend ever" she said kissing him. He couldn't resist her when she was like this. Graham sighed. "Fine but be careful. If anything happens to you your father would never forgive me" Graham said.
They walked up to the front door of the station and saw a rock on the floor and the glass on the door broken. Graham walked over and picked up the rock. "Someone threw a rock through the window" he said. Emma looked confused. Who would do that? Graham walked outside and Emma followed. Graham looked around and shook his head. "I don't see anybody. They must have…" Graham started to say but before he could finish his sentence he was shot in the neck with a dart. "Graham" Emma yelled running up to him. He took the dart out and started to feel dizzy. He wobbled on his feet a little. "Emma run" he said as he fell to the floor. Emma turned around and started to run but she was also hit. She took out the dart and feel to the floor. "Emma" Graham said as he fell unconscious. Emma looked over at Graham feeling herself falling unconscious too. She saw footsteps approach her. Someone leaned down. "Sweet dreams princess" she heard as she fell unconscious.
Henry was sitting in the station waiting for Emma and Graham to return. He heard two pairs of footsteps coming. "Good your back I was getting worried" Henry said walking over to the footsteps. He stopped when he saw who the footsteps belonged to. "Mom, Dad what are you guys dong here" Henry asked. Regina smiled. "We wanted to see you" she said walking up to him but he backed away. "I told you I want nothing to do with either one of you" he said. "Henry me and your mother have made mistakes but we still love you. Your Uncle and cousin aren't good influences. They're filling your head with these crazy ideas about us all being fairytale characters and everything" James said. Henry shook his head. "It's all real. You're just trying to make me feel crazy like you have my how life" Henry said. He looked around. "Where are Emma and Graham" he asked. "Don't worry about them. They won't come between our family anymore" Regina said.
"What have you done to them" Henry asked. "It doesn't matter. Now come with us" he said. "No I'm not going anywhere with the two of you" Henry said. Regina sighed. "You're coming with us whether you like it or not. We would prefer for you to come willingly but if we have to we will take you by force" she said. They stared to walk to Henry but he was able to run around them to the front door of the station. He made it outside and was going to yell for help when he was grabbed. "Let me go" Henry yelled. The person bought him back into the station. "Sorry Henry. Your parents are just trying to help you" Henry heard Paul's voice say. "Paul please don't trust them. They're evil" Henry said as Paul brought Henry to James and Regina. "We're sorry about this Henry we wish there was another way" Regina said. James looked up at Paul and nodded. "Do it" he said. Paul put a cloth over Henry's mouth and Henry fell asleep instantly. "Put him with the other two. We have work to do" James said.
Across town David was in the mines eating dinner with Maleficent. He told her all about his meeting with Snow that night and how them and Emma could actually be a family. "I'm happy for you David. I know you've missed Snow" she said. David nodded. "It's been 18 years and my family will hopefully be reunited. No thanks to James either" David said as he took a bit of his burger. Maleficent sat next to him hesitant to say what she was about to say. "Maybe you and James should talk. Like adults without fighting" she said. David shook his head. "I've already tried that but he's too much of an ass to have a civil conversation" he said. Maleficent looked at David sternly. "David language. I know you two aren't getting along right now but he's still your brother" she said. "Unfortunately" David said under his breath but Maleficent heard. "David" she said in her tone of voice that David knew she was serious. "Sorry mom" he said.
"David you should try to understand his point of view. Him and Regina lost so much" Maleficent said. David got mad at this and stood up. "So what they're the only ones that matter? They separated families with their stupid curse mine included and what it's OK for them to throw a tantrum like five year old's because they lost stuff in life? Guess what they're not the only ones in life who have lost something" David practically yelled at his mother. "Yea but the person who took it from us is standing right in front of me" James said from across the way. David rolled his eyes. "What are you doing here" he asked sitting down with his arms crossed. James walked up to Maleficent. "I came to visit our mother" he said giving her a kiss on the cheek. Maleficent turned to David. "I didn't mean to upset you" she said. David nodded. "I'm sorry I yelled. I just don't understand why you always have to defend him" he said glaring at James.
"Mom understands what you and Snow took away from me and Regina and she knows that we deserve our happy ending and you and Snow deserve to suffer. Plus she likes me better" James said. Maleficent glared at James. "I can speak for myself" she said then she turned to David. "None of that is true. I love you both equally" Maleficent said. David stood up and smiled at his mother. He decided not to fight with James. "I have to go but it was nice seeing you" he said kissing her cheek. He started to walk away. "You know David you were the mistake of the family. Mom and dad only wanted one kid but unfortunately for all of us you came along with me. They wanted to give up your egg but they decided to take pity on you" James said. David stopped walking and turned around. Maleficent stood up and looked at James. "Stop making up lies just to hurt your brother" she said. James shook his head. "It's not a lie. That's what dad told me" he said.
"That was never true for me David. I love both of you very much and was happy I had two beautiful baby boys" Maleficent said. David smiled and nodded at his mother. "I know mom" he said. He looked at James. "Henry told me something interesting. He said he wished you and Regina weren't his parents. He hates the both of you. At least my daughter doesn't hate me. I guess you really are dad's son. Your kid hates you just like we hated dad. The apple really didn't fall far from the tree with you" David said. James glared at David. David knew comparing James to their father always set him off. "David apologize to your brother right now" Maleficent said. David shook his head. "If anyone deserves an apology it's Henry. He had to grow up with dad 2.0 over there. No wonder your son hates you so much" David said. James was pissed now. He charged at David. They started fighting with each other each trading punches and kicks to the other.
"Boys stop it" Maleficent yelled at her sons. They both ignored her and continued to fight both letting out their anger at each other. James got David on the floor and started choking him. "I don't care what mom says you were a mistake and I'm going to fix that mistake right now. You want to see how much I'm like dad" James said as he tightened his hands around David's throat and David struggled. "James stop it. Your killing him" Maleficent said. James turned to his mother. "I'm doing us all a favor" he said. While James wasn't looking David brought his knee up and hit James hard. James let go of David and fell to the floor. David coughed grateful he could breathe again. Maleficent looked at her two sons in pain. How did they get here? They used to be so close and now they were trying to kill each other. David stood up still coughing. "David are you OK" Maleficent asked walking up to him but David held out his hand.
"That's the son you want to defend. The one who just tried to kill me. Yea mom there's still some good in him somewhere" David said sarcastically. He started to walk away. "David wait" Maleficent called to him. David turned around and shook his head. "No mom. James was right. I was a mistake whether you want to admit it or not. I never fit into this family and dad made sure I knew it. I love you mom but I want nothing to do with this family anymore" he said. "What are you saying David" Maleficent asked. "I'm saying James won. He gets you all to himself. Now I'm going to reunite with Snow and find Emma and we will be a family. Your favorite son over there wanted me to stop manipulating you well there you go because of your precious boy over there you just lost a son. You can have James as you're son I won't bother you anymore. Goodbye mom" David said as he walked away not looking back because he knew it would be too hard. Maleficent cried as David left.
David arrived home. When he got in the town house he was staying in he finally aloud himself to breakdown. He didn't want to cut his mother out of his life but if she was going to keep making excuses for James he had no choice. He needed to focus on the future. On him Snow and Emma being a family. He walked upstairs to his room and saw the door was wide open. He walked in there and didn't see anything out of place. He saw his gun sitting on his night table. He walked over and saw a note attached to it. "Thanks for letting me borrow it. It came in handy. Hope you like my gifts" the note said. Gifts. What gifts? He looked around and saw the closet was opened. He loaded his gun and walked over to the closet pointing it at the closet. When he got there he was surprised by what he saw. All of his clothes were gone and replaced by dresses. He looked in his drawers and it was the same thing. His suitcase he used to pack all of his stuff when he left Kathryn's was gone too. David sighed. Who was this person and what the hell did they want with him?
