Death is something everything alive must face I really didn't expect to be encountering at 16 least of all experience it. Pain continues to spread throughout my broken body I gaze at the full moon and think. "I should have at least said goodbye to mom and dad.". And everything begins to fade soon I can barely see the moon and then nothing.
The dark is all consuming I'm numb with only my thoughts to accompany me." Is this it a dark place with nothing in it.". Time seemed to stand still and race past then after an eternity and a moment.

Disparity it is something that defines the living from the dead. the sound of my heart beating startles me feeling returns to me. But somethings different I have more limbs than normal my neck is really long and I seem to have a snout. I begin to slightly panic and start trying to move my body slowly and weakly responds I start to feel around me. I'm surrounded by smooth walls and seem to be suspended in a liquid the few moments I made exhausted me and I soon fell asleep.
I awaken and realize my smooth container has gotten much smaller and I can feel the walls around me I thrash around a bit more until my muscles burn. I stop and rest I feel tired but I try and stay awake and think on what happened. " I seem to not be human anymore and I think I am in an egg so I can't be a mamall other than a platypus.". I barely get my first thoughts together through my exhaustion I try and think of what I am as I fall into slumber.
I wake to panic as my new instinct tells me I must escape as I begin violently thrashing my lungs begin to burn as I smash my muzzle against the egg. I feel and hear a Crack as my head breaks through the egg I take a large breath and use the hole my head made to break apart more of the shell. once free my eyes open for the first time in my new life and immediately power rushes to them and I am in agony I slam them closed, but my vision doesn't completely disappear." what is going on." I think. I decide to use this strange vision to look around.
I am in what looks like a large nest in a gigantic tree. I look at myself and see a serpentine body with ethereal wings and a tail. "I'm a dragon." I realize. my hind legs are ... tails ... my eyes widen I don't have scales either I realize I'm not just a dragon I'm seath the scaleless. A thud makes me look up from myself and in my strange vision I can make out the large form of a dragon with four wings looking at me. They look at me with their head tilted and slowly aproach once close enough they sniff at me and seem to come to a conclusion as they lay around me I feel their scales against my skin and my body feels the exhaustion of haching and I soon fall asleep.
