My pov
I wrap my arms around his neck. He is still sleeping and me too. I look at him. He has light skin tone but no hair . He has brown eyebrows and eyes . His beard around his chin are also brown. He has black stripped tattoos on his neck and back of his hand . The tattoo represents that he is a dauntless leader
Yes he is the new mafia boss of dauntless: Alan Davis . I love him for more than 10 years and now he is my husband soon to be . Next week , we will officially marry .
"Today is Max's trial. Do you want Sasha to be here?" I ask Alan.
"I don't know but I think that the result is obvious that he is a traitor." Alan clinches his fist. "He nearly killed you."
"However alan, Sasha is pregnant again. Charlie and Jeremy can't live without a father ." I bite my lips . "Can we do something?"
Alan opens his eyes . Clearly that he has no idea that Sasha is having another baby.
"You must be kidding me ." Alan sits up . "How did she not telling me ."
"Alan you didn't approve the relationship at beginning. Sasha was afraid of you." I sigh a little .
"I don't know that." Alan frowns
I understand Alan . He is trying to be a good bigger brother .
"Alan , I will talk to Sasha okay? I can make her feel better but you also have to think an easy way to deal with max . At least , he is still in love with Sasha ." I kiss his cheek
I get off bed . Alan grabs my arm . I look at him. He looks defeated .
"Can you please stay?" Alan is begging me .
"Alan I will be back very soon. I have to go see Sasha ." I kiss his forehead . "I love you."
"I love you too." Alan smiles at me
I sneak out the apartment and Sam is there above the chasm talking to four . Four is Sasha's step son. Four's mom Evelyn Johnson was married to max but divorced after a few month.
Max then met with Sasha and fall in love with each other .
"Good morning Celeste ." Four waves at me .
"Good morning four and Sam. How is Maria doing?" I smile at Sam.
"She is doing good . She is sleeping with Elizabeth now ." Sam nods at me . "The baby is not that noisy."
Maria is pregnant again. She is my little sister and tris is also my sister . Four is my brother in law as well.
Alan Davis pov
I get up as well. I have to get ready for the confession . Jack kang will be here to run the trial because it is Candor's job. His daughters are dauntless but I give them permission to visit their parent .
I dress up nicely and sneak out room. I don't know where Celeste is . She must be talking to Sasha . Tris and Christina are playing rock climbing .
"Good morning Tris and Christina ." I say.
"Morning brother in law." Tris giggles . "Want to play?"
"No thank you. I am too old for this." I roll my eyes . "Did you see your sister?"
Tris shakes her head . Christina is still climbing.
"Thank you. I will be going but be careful." I sigh.
"See you later ." Tris screams
I walk away. When I reach the pit, I can see that Sasha is crying. I can't talk to her now because I am still angry that she is hiding from me . Instead , I walk to prison. Caleb and max are both there .
"Morning both of you." I say coldly. "Especially Caleb , how are you doing."
"Don't talk to me like that. I am erudite but you are dauntless." Caleb rolls his eyes at me
I hate him . I hate him for betraying Celeste . Four must hate him for betraying tris . It's the same thing.
"You betrayed the whole system and your sisters as well. I don't care what you did to tris but I care what you have done to Celeste ." I shout at him. "Ted."
"Yes sir ." Ted stands beside me . "What do you want."
"I want you to bring these two to the chasm. Jack kang will be here very soon." I sigh
I turn around and walk out of the prison. I hear the door squeaking open and ted is grabbing them. Celeste walks toward me . I wrap her into my arm.
"What happen?" I frown
"Why you didn't tell me that your mom was dead." Celeste looks at me
"I don't want to upset you more since your parent both dead." I kiss her
She wraps her arms around my waist. She is so soft .
"You know Alan . I don't want you to take all of those thing by yourself . I really worried about you." She kisses me .
"I know Celeste . As long as you are mine Celeste , I am happy." I nudge my forehead with her
"Morning mr Davis and ms prior ." A familiar voice appears there
My pov
Jack kang is behind alan. We separate and Alan holds out his hand . Jack kang shakes it lightly. Elizabeth and Elisa rush toward us .
"Celeste , we miss you." Elizabeth and Elisa hug Celeste .
"I miss you guys too." Celeste laughs. "Let's get going."
We walk above the chasm . Max and Caleb are both there . Caleb looks at me with disbelief .
"You don't need to be here if you don't want to." Alan kisses my neck. "I don't want you to feel bad ."
"I am fine ." I shake my head . "I don't really care ."
Tris and Maria come and Sam followed behind four . Sasha is with them as well but Jeremy and Charlie is not there
"We didn't call Charlie and Jeremy because they are still too young." Tris sighs . "Just us are enough."
"Where is tori and Harrison. They are also dauntless leaders." Alan shrugs
"Harrison doesn't want to see Max's execution." Four scratches his back. "At least max is very nice to him once."
Four doesn't call max father anymore . Max looks hurt.
"Four I am your dad . Please don't call me max." Max's eyes are red
"You aren't my dad anymore . I thought that you will never hurt anyone." Four smirks . "You killed Amar."
"Amar wasn't dead . I don't know how is that even possible." Max shakes his head
When four is about to say something, I interrupt him
"Amar is still alive ." I nod at him.
"What?" Alan spits
"There is a big secret within me . After the trial, I will tell under truth serum." I smile at alan.
Alan nods at me . He holds me tight in his arm.
"Let the trial begin." Alan claps his hand
Jack kang's secretary rose walks toward max . She inserts the needle into his neck.
"Let the truth set you free." Jack kang exclaims.
Max is now dizzy with truth serum. Even divergent can resist truth serum except me . Tris even can't tolerate for a long time .
"So what's your name ." Jack folds his arm .
"Max." Max groans
"What is your faction of origin and where you ended up with." Jack asks
Max doesn't response quickly. Is he even resisting it.
"Dauntless and dauntless." Max says
"Who you married the first place?" Jack raises his eyebrows .
"Evelyn Eaton and then we divorced." Max groans
Alan Davis pov
Sasha leans against Celeste . Celeste gives her for support. Max is very flirtatious man so that I didn't agree their relationship the first hand .
"So why you guys divorce ." Jack continues to ask
"Jack this is not that important." I nudge him. "Ask something more important."
"However he still can resist the serum. We want the serum to control him more ." Jack bites his lips . "I know when to start .so max why you guys divorce."
Max is sad . He is crying. Maybe he still likes Evelyn.
"She had an affair ." Max sighs
"So now lets begin, you and Eric worked with Jeanine , why ?" Jack kang says
"She promised to give dauntless a brighter future ." Max shakes his head . "I shouldn't believe her."
Celeste holds my hand . She looks so tired .
"You regret your choice ?" Jack kang shakes his head .
"If she could make her promise come true , then I am not regretting but now I do regret ." Max looks at sasha . "Sasha!"
"Don't call me that. We are over ." Sasha is crying.
I look at Celeste . I don't want Sasha to be over emotional.
"Bring her to my office . I will talk to her later honey." I kiss her cheek
"Yes I will. Be careful alan." Celeste squeezes my hand
She helps Sasha to walk away. Without Sasha and Celeste here , I am more of relief because he can't hurt them.
"Max I should execute you but my sister is having your kids now . I have to let you go . But you will not be allowed to work in leadership program . You have to work as a guard for the prison. Other time you will be walking around the fence ." I say coldly.
"You get in charge now ?" Max says . "Who gives you the authority Alan?"
"We voted for new leaders ." Four spits at him. "Alan is our new mafia boss."
Max doesn't say a word . Ted drags him away. Now is Caleb . I don't know how to face him
"The reason why I let Celeste go because of you." I stand close to him. "I really want to fuck kill you."
"God damn it, you can't kill me . She will not allow that." Caleb smiles at me
He is trying to annoy me . I take my gun out.
"No Alan. Don't do that."
