Chapter 2

It was a cold crisp morning and as usual the birds were chirping. Rukia was at her aunt's house with her sisters and brother sulking in the corner in the living room. Her aunt Shirayuki was a beautiful woman. She was referred to as a snowwoman and was albino. She had beautiful pale skin, waist-length pale lavender hair she usually wore in a cute little bun. She had pretty light blue eyes and loved the cold. Shirayuki was fifty-five years old and she sewed for a living. She stayed home mostly and took care of Shizuku along with cooking and cleaning. Their Aunt sacrificed a lot to take care of them. She was also the one who had to plan her sisters and brother-in-law's funeral and had to fight for the kids to stay with her. She had to deal with a lot. She was their moms sister and Shiryuki was the youngest and it hurt her to have to bury her older sister. She would always tell them stories about how their mom always had to protect her because she was so frail. She also would tell them how their mom would get in fights with boys and girls because they would always make fun of Shirayuki for being albino. Genetically, the albino gene was very genetic in their family. It affected every other generation usually. Hisana shivered as she sat on the couch with Homura and Shizuku watching tv. Shirayuki chuckled as she patted Rukia's back trying to help her get out of her rut.

"Hisana I swear you should be used to the cold." Shirayuki stated.

Hisana frowned, "Auntie you keep it thirty degrees here."

Homura laughed, "Well Hisana the only one shivering in here is you."

"Maybe it's because you're living in Seireitei with the rich folks. It never gets cold up there." Shizuku commented.

Hisana huffed, "Not my fault Byakuya wanted me to move in with him."

Rukia rolled her eyes at her sister and stood up. Shirayuki did the same and continued to rub her back soothingly, "True but you over here acting as if you've never been in a cold house."

"Oh please also aunt Shirayuki she's not a baby you don't have to rub her back." Hisana stated.

Rukia glared, "Fuck off Hisana I'm going through something."

"She's right, she's going through a lot. Rukia is trying her hardest to make it. She's trying to get a job in something she went to school for and everyone keeps rejecting her. RuRu needs all the support she can get." Shirayuki stated.

Rukia sighed, "Actually I have a job interview tomorrow."

Everyone got silent and turned to Rukia. She huffed and turned her head. Her sisters moved up to her while Shizuku moved slightly closer to the girls. Shirayuki decided to go into the kitchen to make some snacks while the others questioned Rukia. Rukia sighed as her sisters gave her knowing looks. Shizuku sighed and asked where the interview would be. Rukia was red from embarrassment.

"I have a job interview as a Nanny. Tomorrow." Rukia stated.

Homura gasped, "The fuck a Nanny? Are you serious? Are there no more baking jobs out there?"

Rukia shook her head, "No one will hire me. I'm behind on my bills and rent. I need this."

Hisana sighed and hugged her tightly. Rukia didn't want to cry and she wouldn't she hugged Hisana back just as tightly. Homura came in to hug her sisters as well in a nice sisterly hug. Shizuku smiled and joined in on the group hug as well. Shirayuki came out with finger sandwiches and juices. She sat them on her coffee table and decided to join in on the hug. That was the breaking point for Rukia. She bursted into silent tears as they embraced her lovingly. After a good thirty minutes of hugging they ate the snacks their Aunt made them. They watched a quick episode of a show they were watching together called Bob's Burgers. It was a cute little family cartoon that Shizuku wanted to watch with everyone. Once they finished the episode Hisana and the girls all hugged their aunt and brother and said their goodbyes. Homura hopped in the back of Hisana's new 2022 Subaru crosstrek. Rukia sighed Hisana's boyfriend really spoiled her. Rukia got in the passenger seat and waited for Hisana to get herself adjusted. Hisana's car was surprisingly clean; it still had that new car smell as well.

"So where is this job interview and who is the employer?" Hisana asked.

Rukia sighed, "It's at the Seireitei and the employer is a guy by the name of Ichigo Kurosaki."

"Hmm I think I know of him. He lives on the very top of Seireitei and he's super rich. Byakuya always tells me to stay away from him. He meets with him occasionally. I think he owns a business called Kurosaki Hospital. It helps cancer patients specifically. It's a you know Hospital for people who need it but its main demographic is cancer patients." Hisana explained.

Homura groaned, "That's all fine and dandy but what does he look like?"

Hisana shrugged, "I honestly don't know again. Byakuya never lets me meet him when he goes to dinners and business parties. On top of that I never even get to be in meetings when he comes to the company."

Rukia huffed, "So this guy is a big deal?"

Hisana nodded as she drove down to Rukia's apartment complex, "Yup he is, do you need me to take you tomorrow what time is it? I can ask Byakuya if I can come in late."

Rukia shook her head and got her bag as Hisana stopped in front of her apartment. She got out of the car and smiled.

"Bye girls. Hisana please don't worry about it seriously. I'll take a cab or uber besides I'm a big girl. But if you must know, the interview is at eight in the morning."

Homura frowned, "Rukia you'll have to wake up at six in the morning to get ready. It's like an hour drive from Karakura to Seireitei."

Rukia shrugged, "I'll be fine, bye love you."

Homura and Hisana said their goodbyes and drove off. Rukia waved and waited for them to be out of sight to go into her apartment. Rukia sighed and looked at the time it was hitting ten at night and she was exhausted. She took a quick shower and went into her small room to turn on a drama Netflix show she had been watching for a bit. It was intriguing and left her wanting more. Rukia watched a good three episodes. Each episode took an hour so she was going to sleep around twelve-thirty in the morning. Rukia fell into a deep sleep hoping she'd get the job.

Rukia's alarm went off at exactly six in the morning. She groaned and slammed her phone alarm off. She yawned and went to brush her teeth. She washed her face and then went to make herself a quick breakfast. She fixed bacon and eggs and ate it diligently while she watched a quick cartoon. She finished up breakfast, cleaned her plate and went to find something to wear. She decided on a pair of black jeans and a nice long sleeved purple blouse. She chose some pretty black heels and brushed her hair into a cute bun. Rukia looked at the time and saw it was six-fifty. She rolled her eyes and grabbed her purse and keys and went to try and flag down a cab before she decided to call an uber. She locked up her apartment and raced downstairs. She did not want to run into her landlord. Lucky for her barely anyone woke up as early as she was waking up.

As Rukia was leaving she heard a car honking loudly. She glared at said car as it drove up to her. Her glare was replaced with surprise. In Hisana's new crosstrek was her aunt Shirayuki driving and honking with a big smile on her face and her sisters Hisana and Homura along with Shizuku in the back. Rukia almost cried as her aunt rolled down the window smiling cheerfully.

"Hurry up RuRu we don't want you to be late."

Rukia beamed a loving smile and jumped into the passenger seat. She noticed her aunt was wearing her creams along with Shizuku. It was going to be a sunny day after all. Shirayuki had the temperature in the car in its fifties which is the lowest it would go. As usual Hisana was the only one shivering.

"So sis are you excited? Nervous?" Shizuku asked.

Rukia nodded, "A little I'm kind of worried that the kids are going to be brats and won't like me."

Homura chuckled, "Oh please they'll probably see you as one of them since you're so short."

Rukia turned red, "I'm not that short, you ass."

Shizuku snorted, "Ru you're four-eleven and a quarter, Hisana is five-two, Homura is five-four and I'm five-six we're a short family but you're the shortest."

Rukia huffed and pouted causing her aunt to laugh, "RuRu is just short like her mother. You know your mother was shorter than me but she still was sassy and fierce. Her height just made her even stronger in life."

The siblings always loved when their aunt spoke about their parents. In a way it comforted them.

"Oh man when we were young kids would always make fun of my skin and would call me weird she one day painted herself white and stood infront of the whole class and said 'I'm albino now say something to me you fuckers.' Oh man, she got sent to the principal's office and our mother actually praised her." Shirayuki sighed, "But your mother always was a fierce woman which is why your father fell in love with her."

Shizuku cleared his throat, "Well then guys after this we should get ice cream as a congrats for when Rukia gets the job."

Everyone in the car knew Shizuku could handle so much about their parents before he got depressed. They understood this all too well and decided to go along with him in changing the subject.

"Well first off IF I get this job I'm going to go home, relax, take a bubble bath and fix myself some brownies." Rukia stated.

Homura rolled her eyes, "No, we're going to your place to watch movies and hang out."

"Umm could Byakuya join us as well?" Hisana asked.

Homura scowled, "That stick in the mud!"

"Absolutely not." Shizuku added.

Shirayuki was pulling up to what looked to be a mansion. Rukia was starting to feel nervous. There was a gate stopping them and Rukia wondered if that was a sign to go back. A guard with blonde hair and a security guard outfit approached them. The sun was beaming on the car so Shirayuki put on her sunglasses and rolled down her window.

"State your business."

Shirayuki gave a smile, "Yes my Niece is here for a job interview."

The man glared, "Well five people have to be in a car for one interview?"

Homura rolled her window down, "Dickwad you've never heard of family support? We're her sisters and brother and our Aunt wanted to drive."

The man breathed heavily, "Fine but just know you are being watched."

Shirayuki thanked the man while Homura flipped him off. The gate opened before them and they continued on their journey. Rukia looked at the big garden hedges and a mini waterfall being surrounded by them. She was amazed thinking that this Ichigo had to be rich beyond belief to afford a mansion. Shirayuki parked in front of the enormous house and looked at Rukia. Rukia's hands were sweaty and she felt as if she wasn't going to get the job. Shirayuki grabbed her niece's hands and smiled.

"You'll do good RuRu just be yourself alright."

Homura and Shizuku cheered Rukia on while Hisana gave her a thumbs up. Rukia gave a nod of gratitude and walked up the stairs to the gigantic door. She checked the time and saw it was seven-fifty. She was happy to be early. She rang the doorbell only waiting for a moment before someone opened the door. Rukia looked and saw a green haired man with brown eyes and a pointed jaw. He was very tall compared to Rukia; it honestly kind of intimidated her. He was wearing black slacks and a black tailored coat with a white buttoned up shirt underneath.

"How may I help you?"

Rukia gave her best smile and looked the man in the eyes, "My name is Rukia Sode and I am here for the job interview."

The man nodded and let her in. Rukia bowed and looked at the house in astonishment. It was huge. There was a stairwell in the middle of the house like in the movies. It was beautiful so elegant and marvelous. Rukia couldn't believe someone like her was in such a high class home mansion.

"My name is Oko Yushima. I am the butler of the household. You are early, that's good. Come Mr. Kurosaki is in his study."

Rukia nodded and followed behind Oko. He walked her down a magnificent hall that had beautiful pictures of what Rukia was sure was the family. Oko walked her down to the end of the hall and knocked once before entering. Rukia stayed where she was since Oko's body was blocking the entrance. He bowed and turned to Rukia signaling her in.

"Master Kurosaki, this is Rukia Sode. She is here for the interview for the Nanny."

Rukia bowed, "Good morning sir my name is Rukia Sode."

Rukia heard a deep chuckle but she stayed bowed down.

"Well then another one. I'm sure this one is another hussy as well. All the Seireitei women are."

Rukia heard a woman's voice and heard Oko clear his throat, "Ran'Toa come now so we can leave Master Kurosaki to conduct his interview."

Rukia heard the woman huff but walked out with Oko. Rukia stayed bowed to be honest she was thinking about leaving the interview and saying screw it.

"Please you may look up honestly no one has shown respect such as yourself. It is refreshing. The other women would usually flash their…assets around, not a good look."

Rukia took a deep breath and looked up. Her eyes widened a bit as the man was seated but she could tell he was tall and had nice sunkissed skin. He was wearing a suit all black from what she could tell. He had honey brown eyes that looked so hard and cold yet so sad. He had an arrogant smirk on his face and was wearing glasses. He seemed to have been doing paperwork before she got there. But what really had Rukia stunned was his beautiful slicked back orange hair. It seemed so soft and Rukia had an urge to touch it.

Rukia cleared her throat, "Well for one sir I'm not from here I am from Karakura Town."

He gave Rukia a look, "Well then let's get this interview started. Have a seat."

Rukia nodded and took a seat and waited for the first question. She was going to get this job.

A/N How was it? I know it took me a bit to get this out. I don't want to mess this up like I did my last version. I want this to be better and more comprehensible. I have also been busy trying to update my second fanfic account trying to push chapters out on that. BTW it's not bleach fanfiction lol. I have been trying to get Parents Life out on a regular basis but I'm going to start focusing on this story more. I hope you guys enjoyed it and please tell me what you like and what you don't like.
