Reader's POV~
Miyako nodded. They got a few other things as well. Then dinner was announced done. "Time to chow down!" Ganju bellowed. Ichigo giggled as the servant brought in dinner.
"Kaien, are we gonna sign Ichigo up for the Shinoreijutsuien?" Asked Kukkaku as she took a bite of her grilled fish. Kaien coughed as a piece of shrimp went down the wrong pipe. "I was gonna bring that up later Imouto, but since you oh so nicely brought that up now, I guess I will have no choice." Kaien sighed as he sat down his chopsticks. He looked towards Ichigo who was eating some Miso soup at the moment.
"Ichigo you have high reiatsu like Miyako, Kukkaku, Ganju, and I. Even though Kukkaku and Ganju are not shinigami, they are classified as souls with high reiatsu, at least officer strength." Kaien explained. Ichigo's eyes widened and he dropped his spoon. "WowOnii-chthat is high in rank reiatsu right?" Ichigo asked as he picked up his spoon and cleaned it off.
Kaien nodded his head. "Hai it is. Yours is below ours but that's because it is still growing Otouto. That is why you need to go to the academy." Kaien summed it all up. Ichigo thought for a few moments to take in the information. He now knew he had to go to the academy but did he want to? He could just take lessons from Onee-chan and control his reiatsu.
He shook his head and thought nah he will go to the academy. "I will go but I want to come home on weekends." He said to Kaien, he chewed on his bottom nodded. "The first month you have to stay there but after that you can come home after school, on weekends, etc." Miyako beamed. Ichigo ate more of his miso soup. It had chunks of beef in it.
"This is so yummy, Koganehiko-kun!" He exclaimed while giving a big thumbs up to the giant. Koganehiko beamed at little Ichigo. "Thank you Master Ichigo, We, My brother and I are thankful for your compliments." He boomed. Everyone chuckled/giggled at Koganehiko. Shiroganehiko came in smiling as his brother boomed his voice. "Master Kaien it's 10 pm now, shouldn't master Ichigo get to bed if he is to get rest so you can enroll him tommorrow?" Asked Shiroganehiko. Kaien chuckled at him. "After dinner I will. He might want to know more, Shiroganehiko." Kaien told him.
Kaien's POV~
I smiled at Ichigo as we ate and talked. "I love cashew chicken with ranch!" Exclaimed Miyako and Ichigo. They giggled at the same time. I munched on some myself. "So do I you two. It's one of the best né?" I asked them. Ichigo nodded as he took a drink and Miyako nodded too. They were drinking chamiolle tea.
"Now to the academy: It teaches everything you need to know to become a shinigami. mathematics, literature, spelling, etc. Also filing and billing." I blanched at the filing and billing. Ichigo must have noticed the blanch. "Don't like anything to do with paperwork onii-chan?" I shook my head. "I don't mind it. Just don't like a lot of it." I sipped my tea.
