So! This fanfiction is 100% inspired by a dream I had a day ago. So all the randomness and things that make no sense are the fault of my brain making odd scenarios while I sleep.

Basic rundown is some of the Bleach crew get abducted by weird people and stuff happens while they are stuck inside a weird training facility in another dimension. Cool. Oh yeah, and a lot of characters will be - or will become - intentionally out of character for the sake of plot. So don't blame me if people's personalities get randomly swapped, there's an 80% chance that's intentional.

ALSO! This is just the prologue, so don't expect much spice here. I'll write more if I have time to do so, and expect chapters to be pretty short cause my motivation is like Queensland's money reserves; rapidly dwindling.

Anyways, enjoy the prologue and have a good day/night!

DISCLAIMER: I do not own Bleach, it belongs to Tite Kubo.

Las Noches was a pretty damn boring place, Grimmjow had realised. The same white walls, fake sky, sand EVERYWHERE, and it was really getting on his nerves. So when he heard that he and Ulquiorra had been summoned by Aizen, he was intrigued. Usually when Aizen summoned an Espada, the rest came with them. However, this time it was only him and Ulquiorra. Odd.

As he walked through the halls towards the meeting room, Grimmjow thought about the possible reasons for Aizen calling him and Ulquiorra there. Perhaps he needed someone to go find suitable candidates to help grow his army? Or perhaps it was a different reason, like destroying something. Who knew? Certainly not me, the thought.

After a few minutes, he arrived at the large doors leading to the meeting room. Kicking open the door, Grimmjow waltzed in with his usual air of confidence plaguing the atmosphere around him. It didn't take him long to notice Aizen sitting at the head of the table with a cup of tea in his hand – disgusting – and Ulquiorra sitting in his usual chair, also with a cup of tea.

"Ah, Grimmjow. Please sit, we have matters to discuss," Aizen said in a calm tone, gesturing for Grimmjow to sit. The latter did as such and looked to Aizen in mild confusion.

"So, what did you call Ulquiorra and myself here for, Lord Aizen?" Grimmjow asked with mild curiosity in his tone.

Aizen set his tea down on the table. "I have discovered something that I need you and Ulquiorra to investigate. A new race of humans has recently been discovered by Szayelaporro, and he has also discovered they have been plotting to abduct various humans, Shinigami, and arrancars to train and bend to their will. Their reasoning for wanting to do this is currently unknown."

Ulquiorra spoke up, mildly interested but not overly so. "Do we currently know if they have specific targets? Or are they picking at random? And do they have any abilities worthy of note?"

"They have specific targets, though we do now know any of them yet. And yes, they do indeed have abilities, and rather strong ones in fact. Once again, specific ones have not been identified yet."

"Alright, so explain one thing to me. Do you want us to kill these humans, or something else?" Grimmjow asked, eager to have a fight.

"What I want you and Ulquiorra to do is do some recon. Find out as much as you can about these humans, what they want, and what they can do," Aizen answered with a sip of his tea.

"Understood, Aizen-sama. When will we be leaving?" Ulquiorra inquired in monotone.

"As soon as you both are ready. If you require further information of the mission such as where it is, what to do, and what data to collect, you may both go and speak to Szayelaporro about it."

"Alrighty, well if that's all I'll be off to go find Szayel. Bye," Grimmjow suddenly announced, simply walking out of the room before the other two would stop him.

Ulquiorra shook his head at his fellow Espada's actions. "Permission to follow him, Aizen-sama?"

Aizen nodded and motioned for Ulquiorra to follow the other out of the room. "Yes, you may leave. I highly suggest you get as much information from Szayelaporro as possible, so you are aware of the capabilities of these odd humans."

"Understood." Ulquiorra stood in his seat and delivered a short but genuine bow, before exiting the room to follow Grimmjow.

The room was dark. The faint smell of earth and precipitation filled the air, accompanying the sound of rushing water and chirps of various bugs from nearby, but yet from afar. Monitors beeped and flickered to life, showing data and images of various people of different appearances and ages. Footsteps, heavy and steady, echoed as they grew closer to the room. Soon, two men in similar uniforms walked into the room, faces shrouded in shadow from the lack of light emanating from the environment. One of the men, the one who seemed to be in charge, spoke up in a firm but not oppressing voice.

"So, you have the names?"

The other man nodded, gesturing to the monitors on the wall. "Yes, sir. All the names and locations have been secured."

"Good. The facilities have been built and reinforced I presume?"

"Yes, sir. All facilities have been built, reinforced, and customised to the specific needs of each facility."

"If that is indeed the case, then we can start Phase 1. Send out the drones."

"And the power levels?"

"Low. We want them alive. Injured is fine, but alive. It's necessary for what I have planned."

"Understood. I will send the drones out as soon as possible. The gathering is soon."

"No. It has already begun."

The lights flickered out on the monitors, and the men were nowhere to be seen in the inky darkness. Only one sentence remained visible on the pixelated screens, in bold, glowing white letters.

'Project A.S.H: Goal – Revolution.'

Hey, thanks for reading the whole chapter! I really appreciate it. If you liked that, take a gander at 'Transfers', found in the Bleach x Harry Potter crossover section. You might like it, you might hate it. Who knows. Well that aside, if you have any comments or suggestions, leave a review! It would help me A TON. Once again, thanks for reading! Until next time.
