Chapter 1: First Bite
"GET AWAY FROM ME RUBY!"
"I was instantly petrified with fear as I heard Blake, my dear friend and teammate at Beacon, screamed at the top of her lungs and shoved me away while she slouched up against a wall". Ruby thought with a grimace as she began trembling from the outburst. The force of that shove didn't hurt her as much as hearing Blake, her first friend at Beacon, yell at her with such venom in her tone. Sure Blake was a bookworm who obviously preferred reading alone in peace, but the girl always felt they had a special bond as she was the only one Blake let read with her and be in her company after classes missions.
She even took the time to hug Ruby when she was crying after all of Weiss's insults since their first day. Ruby lip quivered as she willed herself and fought back her fear from the mood shift, she had to know what was troubling her friend.
"Bla…Blake w-what's wrong with-" I tried to ask Blake, but I instantly paled as I caught of glimpse of her eyes past those shades she always wore giving me a death glare. Ever since she stood up to Weiss for me on my first day of Beacon I always felt a lure to Blake. Not just from her kindness, or her honestly hot body (Ruby begins to blush as she pondered that thought), but by those shades and her bow. She obviously was hiding something since day 1 from everybody, considering she wears them even to bed. The mystery always thrilled me, mystery novels were my second favorite series after hero stories of course. I tried so hard to sneak a glance every now and then when we were changing or when Blake let me read by her, but that sly fox always just had to avert her gaze at the right moment and block me! Now…. I really am glad she did." Ruby bitterly thought as she struggled to keep calm experiencing those blood red eyes with slanted pupils she saw bearing down on her menacingly. But while she was afraid of the normally calm and reserved girl suddenly losing her cool and vicious eyes, she couldn't help but notice her shivers and sweats.
"Is Blake sick? Does she need a doctor?" Ruby thought as her lips quivered, fighting her fear with all her might to try and utter her concerns for her friend. But as she stepped forward, reaching out her shivering hand to try and offer a comforting touch to her friend, Ruby recoiled as Blake angrily slapped it away and began grinding her teeth angrily.
"G-GET OUT AND STAY OUT!" Blake roared before she began gasping for air, even throwing a pillow and a couple of slashes with her hand at me as I jumped back, utterly terrified of the shout and bolted out the door.
Ruby ran down the hall, desperate to get as far away from her dorm room as she could. She didn't care she knocked over a few people like Cardin or Coco in the process, she was horrified beyond belief at her friends behavior and eyes. She soon hid in a corner and begun breathing rapidly, almost hacking as the image of those venomous eyes bared down on her mind.
"Oh God! Why was she so mean?! I just-" Ruby groaned through her nausea. She assumed a fetal position as the fear she experienced zapped all the strength she had left.
"I'd rather face another army of Beowulfs again then see her so angry at me…. Why Blake? I just wanted to help you. Aren't we friends?" I asked myself with a whisper. My throat was burning like wildfire as all the choking and hacking I did stressed the hell out of my body worse than my monthly's.
"Damn it! Where are Yang and Weiss when I need them?" I whispered softly. I needed someone familiar to just hug me already. It would have been the only good touch I could have experienced today. Why did Weiss have to study and Yang go smash some Grimm in the Forest of Death and leave me alone with Blake?
"W-Wait….Alone? B-Blake's…" I said before a bitter feeling took over my gut. I didn't see just Blake's mean glare with those red eyes anymore, I saw my friend shivering in a corner like me right now feeling unwell. It was obvious she was hurting, what kind of leader or friend am I to leaver her alone to deal with that!?
As the guilt and concern for her friend consumed her, Ruby fought back her sick stomach and willed herself to stand. She just had to know what was troubling Blake, even if she had to knock her out and drag her out of that room to the nurses office. Disappearing into a cluster of rose petals, Ruby zoomed down the hall with her semblance, once again knocking down more students like Sun and Pyrrah as she ignored all but her concerns for her friend.
"Hang on Blake… I'M COMING!" Ruby yelled, but as she got to her door she froze a bit in terror hearing a groan of pain from Blake and a small crash.
"Oh no! Is she hurt?!" was my first thought, my only other after that was to kick open my door and make sure she was okay.
After Ruby slammed the door shut, her eyes widen in shock to see Blake crouched in a fetal position in the middle of the room, her body pale as she spasmed a bit.
"BLAKE! PLEASE HANG ON I'LL-" I screamed while trying to grab her and take her to the nurse. But I soon found myself being carried over to Weiss's bed by Blake as she tackled me their with a might I hadn't felt since wrestling Yang and held me by the throat and one of my arms. I felt helpless in both cases as red eyes glared down on me from both girls. But while I knew Yang wouldn't hurt me, I didn't know what the hell to expect from this girl, who grinded her teeth menacingly as she glared at me.
Ruby squinted her eyes, afraid more than she ever has been in all her life. But as she bit her lip, bracing herself for the unknown pain or even death to come, her eyes widen in shock and confusion as she heard Blake speak, with small fangs protruding as she did so.
"I hate you for this." She bitterly said with tears in her eyes before she bit down on Ruby's neck to the girl's horror.
"IT HURTS! IT HURTS!" I wanted to scream those words, but Blake's hand gripped my throat. I couldn't utter anything more than a choked gasp. I could swear I could hear gulping from this girl…was she swallowing my blood?
But Ruby couldn't think long about these confusing and painful events as soon she felt a strange warmth envelop her body and blow it all away. Her face went from pale white from shock to a bright pink as she blushed heavily feeling Blake's grip on her soften, now feeling soft tender massages as she moved her hands around Ruby's body, including her chest. Each touch brought a small gasp or spasm to Ruby, overwhelmed from experiencing this strange pleasure for the first time.
As Blake took her fangs out of Ruby's neck, blood and drool dripping from them and her mouth, she huffed a bit to catch her breath, arching her head over Ruby's face, her red eyes suddenly now gold as the red glow faded. Ruby gave slow breaths of air as she felt weak and relaxed from her ordeal. But she didn't want it to end. She mouthed the first thing that came to head that brought a blush from the now tanned once more Blake.
"Take me." I mouthed to her. I needed more. I almost cried when I saw her shake her head. Was she rejecting me after all that?
"Dummy." Was all I could hear from Blake before she pressed her hot lips onto mine. Our tongues joined together as I felt its warmth and Blake's hand push down my pants before I jolted a bit from something going inside me. I couldn't scream from the pleasure though as Blake forced me down even harder and drowned out my moaning's. I closed my eyes, hopeful with all my heart this wasn't a dream.
2 Hours later…
When I woke up from my nap, an intense pain overcame me all over my body. As bad as my back or shoulders felt though, nothing could beat the pain in my neck though. But as I placed my hand to it, I felt a strange wet sensation on my palm.
"I-Is this…Is this blood? Am I bleeding?" I whispered before my vision faded a bit. My head was pounding as I felt dizzy and nauseas. I needed to go get a band aide and a drink of water from the bathroom.
But as Ruby pulled the sheets off her to do that, she shivered as she felt the cold air of her dorm press against her body. As she covered her torso, her eyes widen in shock to see her body was naked, her clothes folded neatly at the edge of the bed in fact.
"Wha-What happened? Why am I naked?" Ruby said confused before she heard the bathroom door open and covered her body with her blanket. She soon saw an half naked girl with a black bikini and her signature bow on come out smiling at her warmly with a glass of water in one hand and a clothe in another.
"Hi Ruby. Thanks for the meal it really helped." I heard Blake say with nice words for the first time today. I couldn't really enjoy the relaxing atmosphere though as I felt weird seeing her lick her lips as she said that.
"M-Meal? What do you mea- Aaah!" I cried. My neck was burning a bit and I grabbed it and jerked back onto my pillow. Why was it bleeding and burning like this?!
Blake soon ran over horrified and pressed the clothe to her friends neck.
"Easy Ruby breath! This medicine and water should help with the blood loss, please drink." I heard Blake say firmly but kindly as a sting came to my neck from the cloth. Was it medicine? Ah what the hell give me the glass my throats burning too!
Ruby thought this as she gulped down the drink before gasping in relief. Blake sighed, feeling a bit guilty as she took a large bandage out of her pants and placed it firmly on Ruby's neck to stop the bleeding and hide her secret, at least to the world.
"I hate this but… I got to tell her. Especially after, "that" experience." Blake thought as she blushed a bit remembering the sex. She felt an even worse guilt as she felt a bit prideful for a moment remembering Ruby call her name a lot, she hadn't lost her touch, but felt bad she essentially forced herself on her friend even if she couldn't help it.
"Ruby." I tensed up as I heard the bitter sound of my name from Blake and eyed her. I didn't even care anymore about Blake's gold eyes or how they were red before…Okay I was still curious about that and why I was naked, but I wanted Blake to talk to me nicely again more than that! Why was she so angry with me? Ruby thought.
"What I am about to tell you needs to stay between us. You cannot tell anyone, especially Yang and Weiss." Blake firmly said. Ruby's eyes widen a bit in response.
"B-But there my sister and partner. I can't hide-" I tried to say before Blake's hands squeezed my shoulders. Those sharp nails dug into my skin a bit, but I was too frightened to yell out in pain. I just locked eyes with Blake as she glared at me.
"I am serious! What I am about to share with you can only be with you after what we did together. You can't tell anyone or I'll have to leave Beacon and you!" Blake yelled at her firmly. She bit her lip a bit, frustrated that she knew she was being selfish, but Blake had to keep this a secret. The students would never accept or understand her nature, especially since it caused her to go into heat like a cat and pounce a girl. She actually shuddered a bit as she was more afraid of one person's judgment of that in particular.
"Please! Yang would kill me if she found out we did it." Blake told me with what I could tell was fear in her voice. Not that I could blame her, Yang was always busting guys balls for trying to hit on me, she'd probably kill Blake if she found out we…. Wait…WE WHAT!?" Ruby thought before her faced turned red as blood as memories of her passion with Blake flooded back into her head. Blake sighed as she shook her to get her attention before giving a small slap to her face to calm her.
"I know I'm sorry! I'm sorry for what I did to you but I need you listen now because of precisely that." Blake yelled. Ruby could only take deep breaths and nod in compliance as Blake slowly released her grip and went to the front door. She cursed herself a bit as she locked it, wishing she remembered to do that earlier….during. She blushed as she thought this before taking a deep breath and unraveling the ribbon on her head. Ruby's eyes widened in shock as she saw a pair of spiky ears plop up from Blake's head.
"B-Blake your…" I said before she put a finger to my mouth and shushed me.
"Shhhhh… Yes. I'm a Faunus. I wanted to tell you all but…" Blake said with guilt. Not that I could blame her. It was a shock but I knew the reasons and grabbed her finger and gave her a warm hug. It always made me feel better when Mom gave me one before she died. Honestly, how Yang's bear hugs haven't killed me was a mystery.
"It's okay. I saw how jerks like Cardin bully Faunus like Velvet. I know you just wanted them, wanted me to see you for who you are inside. There's no need to apologize for that." I said with the biggest warmest smile I could will myself. Though it hurt Blake kept such an important secret from me, one of her best friends, I knew I didn't truly understand racism and the fear it brings. I had to be supportive.
Blake's ears went down as she cried a bit, feeling more guilty than ever hearing this encouragement to Ruby's concern as she put a tender hand on her friends face.
"I-It's okay. I'm good its just…*Sigh* it's not the only reason. I'm different from other Faunus." Blake said sorrowfully. Ruby leaned it, curious about these words.
"I'm a vampire bat Faunus. We are rare even amongst other Faunus. That's because we were hunted for a time." I gasped a bit hearing this from Blake.
"Someone hunted you!" I whispered frightfully, minding that Blake wanted to keep this on the down low. I breathed a lot easier right then when she shook her head thank God!
"Not me, but I can't deny I feared it would happen again, after all… you felt the reason why we were hunted." Blake said guilty as Ruby raised an eyebrow confused before she blushed a bit.
"Y-You mean because we did it? That's why?" I asked her but she shook her head again. I was honestly more embarrassed then confused as I saw her blush brighter.
"What came before I mean. We drink blood, we need it once and a while or we get sick. But what it does to people during it troublesome. Our fangs have special traits that make whoever we bite get hit with an aphrodisiac. It numbs the pain after a while, but that's why you were so…receptive of me." Blake said shamefully.
"I'm so sorry I jumped you. That I….defiled you." Blake cried before she gasped as another hug enveloped her.
If I was being honest, I was a bit unnerved my first time was not on my wedding night like daddy drilled into me. But it honestly wasn't a bad experience and it wasn't like Blake had any real choice, she tried to keep me safe from that anyway. I disregarded her warnings because she was my friend, she was hurting, and I had to help her, back then and now. So… I did something despite my head screaming not to or I'd die from embarrassment. I kissed her.
"It's okay. I don't blame you. I'd go through that again every day if it meant I could help you." I said as calmly as I could.
Blake smiled a bit and choked on her sobs as she hugged me in a bear hug, but thankfully not as hard as Yang or my sore spine would have snapped.
"So you promise not to say anything then? You'll help me?" She asked me hopefully.
"Cross my heart, hope to die batgirl." I said confidently as I made a cross on my chest before shivering. I was still naked.
"I'll…g-give you blood when you need it b-but first. Can I g-get as shirt and some pants?" I said as my teeth chattered. Blake made me warm up a bit in embarrassment as she laughed at my misfortune and got up to grab my clothes.
Soon both girls turned pale and shivered as the lock on the door started turning and they heard Yang complain.
"Oh Lord not now!" Blake thought as she quickly covered her ears with her bow and scrambled to grab Ruby's clothes off the bed.
"If she see's us now she'll burn down the dorms! We gotta-" I thought before I accidently bumped into Blake as we scrambled to get hidden or dressed. I couldn't help but cry out a bit in pain, still aching from my first time and the bite. I regretted that instantly as Yang roared my name hearing that and I heard the door get kicked down.
"What happened Rubes! Wheres-" Yang yelled before her eyes widened at the sight of Blake on top of her naked sister by accident, not that Yang could know. Her eyes went red as her hair caught flames. She could only assume the worst in this scenario.
"What are you doing to my sweet angel Blake!?" Yang growled.
