"This give me an idea." Kara smirked talking to Max on the phone. "You need to stay put."
"Why do I have to stay put?" Max argued on the phone
"Just trust me everything will go back the way it is." Kara hangs up
At Berry, the party rages on along with the girls from Athena!
"We don't have to worry about what Pandora's going to do next to mess with us." Payton cheered
"I can't believe it was Kara all along!" Autumn exclaimed
"I cant believe Kara would do this." Bridgette sighed
"I can. She's manipulative, spiteful, and vindictive. This is exactly the thing she'd do." Mia grits angrily
"Did you guys hear that her parents are sending her away to boarding school? She finally got her just desserts." Nishan smiled
"Hey, Wes. You're not celebrating with the others. Something wrong?" Jess asked
"This whole Kara is Pandora thing something about it isn't right, but I can't put my finger on it. I was going to dig deeper, when I got a text on my phone from a blocked number. Someone wants to meet me in a sketchy park late tonight. I'm going to check it out on my own. I don't want to freak everyone out if it's just a stupid prank. You better bring backup." Wes explained
"Oh, I am definitely coming with you." Jess insist
Jess, Wes, and Julian get to the park that night and wait. A short time later.
"All right. Where is this mysterious person? Wes, are you sure we got the time right?" Jess asked
"I'm never late for a midnight rendezvous. This is all on whoever's contacting me." said Wes
Jess hear a twig snap and turn around to find Kara "Kara! You're the one who texted us? Aren't you supposed to be under some sort of major house arrest right now?" Jess exclaimed
"Uh, yeah! Why do you think it took me so long to get here? I had to sneak out now that my parents think I'm Pandora!" Kara groaned
"Think? So you're saying." Jess asked
"Wow, you really are slow. I'm not Pandora." Kara glared angrily
"Then why were you stealing the gifts during the birthday party?" Jess asked
"Because I was working with Pandora. She contacted me, telling me that there was an opportunity for me to mess with your school. I was helping her with all her dumb pranks, like locking up Payton and framing you for stealing the gifts." Kara grumbled
"So that was the plan." said Wes
"Yeah, it was. But I would've never done it on my own! I was just helping Pandora out!" Kara exclaimed
"I see. You weren't behind it. You were just her lackey. And when the time came, she set you up to take the fall." said Jess
"I should've known she was going to leave me holding the stupid frikkin' gift bag." Kara grumbled
"Okay, so why did you text us?" Jess asked
"Because I need you help. My parents think I've committed all these crimes, and they're sending me away to boarding school in Siberia."
"That's far..." said Jess
"Okay, fine, it's more like Minnesota, but it's basically the same thing. But I don't want to leave Max, and his Dad can't pull any strings with the entire Hearst scandal going on, so I have to prove that I'm not the one at fault here." Kara sighed sadly
"Ignoring the fact that our lives would be much easier if you moved away. Why should we help you?" Julian glared angrily at Kara
Kara grumbles at Jess, Julian and Wes. "Geez, I thought it would be obvious, but since I have to explain every step of this stupid process to you. If I'm not Pandora, then she is still out there, right? She has a real vendetta, and she's not going to stop. But guess what? Today's your lucky day because I happen to know how to take her down. You don't want my help? Fine. I'll get sent off to Sister Havisham's School for Troubled Girls and Pandora will keep messing with everyone forever. So what do you say? I help you, you help me, we destroy a mutual enemy together, and call it a day?" Kara raised her hand to shake hands with Jess
"We're in." Jess shakes hand with Kara. "But it's going to be a little harder to convince everyone else to work with you."
A little while later, Jess gathers Autumn, Payton, Nishan, Mia and Sakura to the Slacker Hangout
"So... what are we here for again?" Nishan asked
"I've got some bad news. Kara isn't the real Pandora." said Jess
"What? But we caught Kara red-handed." said Mia
"Yeah... how do you know she's not Pandora?" Autumn asked
"Because I SAID so." Kara smiles approach to the group. Everyone exclaimed seeing Kara
Kara enters the doors from behind them and gives everyone a wide smile. "Hey, guys, miss me?" Kara smiled
"What is the Evil Queen doing here?" Nishan exclaimed
"I'll explain. So... bad news, Kara isn't Pandora, which means Pandora is still at large." said Jess
"That is still a problem." Autumn sighed
"But good news... Kara knows how to take Pandora down, and she's willing to do so." said Jess
"That's great!" Payton cheered
"Bad news she wants us to help her." Wes sighed
"No way!!!" Nishan exclaimed. "Uh, did you guys not see the new Star Trek? This is a classic Khan Triple Cross! She's going to betray us in the third act!"
"Ugh, come on, what is wrong with you people? What have I ever done to you?" Kara exclaimed
The room goes silent as everyone stares quietly at Kara. She sighs with exasperation.
"I mean, RECENTLY." Kara sighed she gives a grin. "Today's your lucky day because I happen to know how to take her down. You don't want my help? Fine. I'll get sent off to Sister Havisham's School for Troubled Girls... and Pandora will keep messing with everyone forever. So what do you say? I help you, you help me everyone lives happily ever after."
Jess convinced everyone to work with Kara. "Look, I know everyone's hesitant to work with Kara, but she needs our help. And more than that, helping her will help us. She's the only one who's ever interacted with Pandora. We need her. So what do you guys say?"
Everyone nodded agrees with Kara
"Fine. Let's get this over with." Julian grumbled
"So Kara, you actually know who Pandora is?" Wes asked
"No. I've never seen her face." Kara shakes her head
"The lies have already started." Nishan grumbles
"Cool your jets, nerd-bot. She contacted me on my cell. We've had a few conversations by text. She had a solid plan for stealing all the birthday gifts and pinning it on your school." Kara explains
"What?!" Mia exclaimed
"Kara, do you even know ANYTHING about Pandora?" Jess asked
"Do you think I'm an idiot. I figured something out while we were talking. And it relates to this plan I have to take her down." said Kara
"Care to share with everyone? What is your plan?" Wes asked
"You know I earned bad girl strike Wes pulling schemes and heist. I'm not going to share with anyone until I'm sure I won't have to explain this twice. I need someone writing down note Got anyone smart enough around here to take on these jobs? Or is your school too lame for that." Kara glared like a strict teacher
"We can do it." Nishan and Sakura offered
"We love taking note down and colour coded." Sakura smiles
"I'm not surprised you both always get top score in the school." Kara rolled her eyes "Now listen up." Kara announced harshly Nishan and Sakura begin write notes down. "Here's the plan I worked with Pandora for a little while, and the one thing I learned about her is that she's really obsessed with money."
"That's nothing new. We know Pandora's an Athena girl. They're all obsessed with money." said Payton
"Not like this they're not. pandora doesn't just like talking about money. She likes GETTING it." said Kara
"Why? All the girls there are rick! Like, 'My Super Sweet 16' rich!" said Payton
"Think about everything she did. The Cotillion Queen got to manage all the dance's funds. The CATs and the soccer tournament both had a big cash prize. And Mia's gifts would've resold for a pretty penny. Behind all her blackmail and bullying, I think Pandora's just a big thief! Money is her game. And my plan is to lure her out with it. Your school is going to host an event where you raise a large sum of money. She won't be able to resist trying to grab it. That's how we'll trap her." Kara goes through the plan
"I know! We can do a charity ball! We'll raise a lot of money and donate it to a good cause!" Payton suggest
"A charity ball is perfect. It has to be a lot of money Pandora won't resist." Kara ordered
"Don't worry everyone going to be donating after all it for a good cause." Payton nods
I'll text Pandora to let her know. You guys set it up. And when she shows up to grab the cash, we catch her in the act!" said Kara
"Wait. I see a huge problem with your plan. The plan sounds great Kara except Pandora never does her own dirty work. Even if we can lure her with the money, she'll just find a way to send someone else to grab it." Wes pointed
"I'm already one step ahead of you, Wes. I'm going to be Pandora's dummy." Kara off
"Ha ha, that role sounds PERFECT for you." Julian said sarcastically
"Shut up, Julian. I meant, I'll be the person she uses to get to the money. I'll contact Pandora. I'll tell her that I know about a sweet charity she can steal from, and that I'll even help her do it if, in exchange, she'll clear my name." said Kara
"And then you actually do steal the money, and we never trust you again?" Nishan glared
"NO. I'll tell her I'm going to steal the money, and then at the last minute, I'll be distracted by something, so Pandora will have to steal the money HERSELF." Kara explains
"How do you know she'll show up once you drop out?" Jess asked
"You guys caught me red-handed with the gifts, remember? She didn't get her drop last time. If I'm right, and she needs money, she'll go for this." Kara pointed
There's silence for a moment as everyone considers the plan. Then Wes claps. "That's... actually a solid plan. It's something I might've even thought of myself."
Nishan and Sakura waved holding note written down. "We got everything noted down in case if any of you forget."
"Thanks Nishan." said Payton
"See, we don't all have to be sleazy slackers to get the job done right." Kara smirked
"Oh yeah, because being a psycho cheerleader is much preferable." Wes pointed
"I'm going to call Pandora now and let her know what she needs to know." Kara contacts Pandora "All right. Pandora's in. You guys need to pick up the slack. How are you getting me the money?"
"We're going to pick a REALLY good charity that people will be interested in!" said Payton
"And what goody-two shoes charity is that?" Kara asked
"We could do The Cybersmile Foundation. They help people who are cyberbullied." said Payton
"We'll make it super fancy! It'll be black tie, and we'll invite students and parents from both our school and Athena Academy. There'll be charity events and raffles and..." Mia listed
"Woo, yay, blah, whatever. Who cares?" Kara said sarcastically
"YOU should. Pandora's never going to take the bait if it super fancy." Mia pointed
"Ugh, fine make the ball super fancy Pandora won't resist. Is it going to be ready in time to trap her?" Kara asked
"Don't get your ponytail in a twist. We've got this, Kara. It'll be tight, but we're going to get the school in shape! Jess, you're with me. We're going to decorate!"
Jess begin decorating with Mia
"Come on, Jess! Let's decorate while Payton makes sure the rest of our rentals arrive." said Mia
"Sure thing!" Jess smiled
"I found these lights, but they're all tangled up. Can you help me string them out?" Mia asked
Slowly and steadily, Jess untangle the lights and put them up around the room.
"Perfect! Balloons are next!" Mia smiled
Jess pick up the bag of blue and white balloons.
"We need to blow up fifty of these. Ready?" Mia asked
Jess blow up one balloon after another! After a while...
"Good job, Jess! We hang fifty in no time! We need these streamers to hang on the tables so they'll be really festive." said Mia
"Okay. I can handle that." Jess take the streamers and hang them! Jess hang the blue and white streamers on the tables! Just then, Payton pokes her head inside the room.
"Hey, Mia and Jess, this looks wonderful! You two did such a great job!" Payton exclaimed
"Ready to get this party started?" Mia asked
"Oh yeah..." said Payton
That evening, Jess's friends and Kara arrive early to the charity ball to set everything in motion!
"Okay. Run me through what you've done." Kara ordered
"So everything's decorated, and the food's perfectly plated." Jess report
"The music system and dance floor are good to go, and we have a raffle set up for a romantic dinner date for two!" Payton report
"Awww, isn't that cute?" Kara said sarcastically
"She's saying something nice, but her face is mean." Payton sighs
"Maybe it's stuck that way." said Mia
"Oh, shut up, Mia. I wasn't asking because I care about the stupid charity part. I was asking about what you did to make sure that we actually capture Pandora." said Kara
"You thought we'd forget?" Wes asked
"There's a back room in this hall that Payton is going to put all the money in towards the end of the evening. It's wired with a hidden camera, so we'll see Pandora as soon as she steps in." said Nishan
"Of course, it's going to be up to you to figure out how to convince Pandora to go after it." said Wes
"I can handle that part, if you can handle your end." said Kara
"Oh, I can handle myself all right." said Wes
"Me too." said Kara
"Good." Wes glared
"Fine." Kara glared back
"Ahem, so, it sounds like Operation Charity Ball is ready to run! Go team?" Jess cheered Kara rolled her eyes
The spotlights and speakers flicker to life as the ball starts. People start walking in and stand at the door.
"Oh no..." Payton gasped
"What? Something up with the plan?" Jess asked
"No! We just don't have any ushers manning the door or telling people where to go!" Payton gasped
"Oh no! This is a fancy ball! We need fancy ushers! Get someone fashionable over at the doors, stat!" said Mia
Jess have Brianna and Jordan stand at the doors, greeting guests.
Jess classmate are dressed wearing a blouse, skirt and black pumps and Greg dressed wearing sweater, black pants and black shoes. Brianna and Greg stand at the doors, greeting guests.
"Welcome to the Cybersmile Foundation charity! Please come in." Brianna smiled
"You can find refreshments by the door over there." Greg pointed
Katherine, Bridgette, and Lacey show up at the entrance to the charity ball where an archway of balloons and sparkling lights rings the door.
"Welcome, welcome!" Brianna smiled
"Yeah, yeah, thanks. Just point me to the dance floor, would you? Oh, and let me know if my hair needs any adjusting... Katherine, with me." Lacey ordered
"Of course, Lacey! Oh wow, it's so beautiful in here! They really did such a wonderful job decorating!" Katherine smiled
"Mia's certainly learned a thing or two from the fashion shows in Paris. I think this particular light design is inspired by last year's show, if I'm not mistaken." Bridgette smiled
Jess approach the Athena Academy girls.
"Hey guys! Glad to see you could make it!" said Jess
"Jess, thanks for the invite. We're always down for a good party." Lacey smiled
The party gets underway, and the music starts to pick up. Jess is about to join her friends when you're stopped by a text from Kara. Heads up. Pandora just messaged me saying she created a distraction, but she didn't way what it was. Keep your eyes open.
Jess scan the crowd and focus on Payton who's hustling towards you.
"Big problem, Jess!" Payton panicked
"With Pandora?" Jess asked
"No! The dancing! We're going to do a competition to encourage people to donate more money to the cause, but no one's dancing! Can you find people? We need more happy couples on the floor!" Payton pointed
"Of course..." Jess gathers the dancers Willow, William and James
"You asked for us?" Willow asked
"I'd like to have more couples on the dance floor. Can you guys break the ice?" Payton asked
"Of course! Willow and I just choreographed a dance together that we've been dying to try out!" William smiled
"And when they're done, I'll get on the floor with my date and show people how it's done!" James smiled
"Sounds great!" William smiled
"Places!" Jess called
Willow and William take to the dance floor, waltzing gracefully. They spin and twirl, eventually closing with an elaborate curtsey and bow to everyone's applause!
"And now if everyone would join me and Diana on the dance floor." James called
Couples start moving onto the dance floor slow dancing together, and soon it's packed!
"Awww so sweet." Payton squealed
"Will you have this dance with me?" Tommy asked
Payton giggled danced with Tommy
You turn away from the dance floor an run into Mia. "Oof! Jess! I'm so glad I caught you!"
"What's going on?" Jess asked
"The cake for the cake-cutting ceremony at the end of the night never arrived!" Mia exclaimed
"What happened?" Jess asked
"I called the bakery, and it seems after we confirmed our order, someone named P. Dora canceled it." said Mia
"That must be what Kara warned us about... Pandora must have canceled the cake to cause confusion, so Kara could snatch the money. Do we really need a cake?" Jess asked
"If we don't have one, Pandora will probably wonder what's up. We should probably go along with it... Which brings us back to my original problem... we have no cake, and most bakeries are closed! What do we do?!" Mia panicked frantically
Danny: "Maybe we can make one?" Jess asked
Mia: "Yeah! I can get you some supplies, and you can bake it! I'll send Nishan in to help you! Go!" Mia ordered
In the kitchen, Jess find eggs, flour, milk, and Nishan.
"You summoned me for cake making? I've been told I make an excelled head chef and your the sous chef Jess as long as you do the measuring, mixing, and cooking part of it." Nishan smiled
"Why don't you read from the cookbook? I'll put everything together" said Jess
"All right. In this order, you're going to need to beat half a dozen eggs... Put in the flour and sugar... And then mix everything together for about five minutes, got it?"
"Yep! I'm going to beat six eggs!" Jess crack and toss six eggs into a giant bowl and start beating.
"Okay, now for the next step, I need to mix in flour and sugar!" Jess mix in flour and sugar into the bowl!
"This is going to be a good cake!" Next, Jess mix everything for five minutes! You mix everything for five minutes, pour it into a pan, and put it in the oven... A little while later, your cake comes out of the oven! Nishan walks around it, inspecting your work.
"Excellent height, sound structural integrity, and it smells fantastic! This cake is a go, Jess!" said Nishan
Jess look at her cake and grin.
"All that remains is the icing. What color should we ice it?" Nishan asked
"Blue and white." said Jess
"Blue and white. Like the TARDIS. I like it." Nishan smiled
A little while later, the cake is decorated with beautiful light blue flowers on white icing!
"Let's bring it out!" Nishan called
Jess and Nishan wheel the cake out as Payton announces it.
"Well, that about wraps up the evening's events. To give everyone one last special thanks for coming out tonight and donating, we have a sweet surprise!" Payton squealed
Jess and Nishan set the cake in front of the gathered crowd. Everyone breaks into applause.
As the guests eat the cake and start saying their goodbyes, Jess watch Payton count out all the money the charity ball made that evening!
"Wow, this is a TON of money! I can't believe HOW MUCH money we've made!" Payton squealed
"I feel pretty good this will help anyone who's ever been cyberbullied!" said Jess
"Uh-huh! Okay, I'm going to go into the BACK ROOM and put the MONEY away for safekeeping." Payton called loudly
"Uh-huh. Thanks for letting me know, Payton. Good luck!" Jess smiled
Payton walks off, and Jess turn around to find Wes. He looks around to make sure no one is listening before he speaks.
"Payton's making the drop?" Wes asked
"Yep! I just saw her off." Jess smiled
"Good. Looks like it's time to enact the plan. Let's meet up with Nishan and Kara." Wes call
A few minutes later, you, Wes, Nishan, and Kara meet up in the main ballroom.
"Okay. The cheese is in the mousetrap, and the cats are ready to go!" Nishan saying metaphor line
"Translation?" Jess and Kara asked
"The box full of money is in the back room, and we've got multiple cameras pointed right at it. We've got a security room set up with monitors to watch everything that happens." Wes explains
"We'll catch anyone who goes in to grab the box red-handed! And we'll have video proof!" said Nishan
"It's time for Kara to contact Pandora and set the plan in motion." said Wes
"Gladly." Kara takes out her phone and starts texting Pandora.
Kara texts Pandora. "Change of plans. Got roped into cleanup duty. Too many eyes on me. Cake distraction didn't work! Can't grab cash. Box in back room if you can grab it yourself."
"Think Pandora bought it?" Julian asked
"If I know one thing about Pandora, it's that she can't resist that much cash." Kara smirked
"So why hasn't she texted back?" Jess asked
Everyone stares anxiously down at Kara's phone. Suddenly, it beeps, and a message appears on screen. Pandora: If you want something done right, you've got to do it yourself.
"She took the bait." said Wes
"Let's get to the security room and watch the monitors." said Jess
In the security room.
"I can't believe it. After all this, we're finally going to find out who Pandora is." said Jess
"This is going to be the best movie I've seen all year. Too bad I forgot to bring popcorn." said Nishan
"So we're all set?" Jess asked
"Mostly... but I'm having a little trouble figuring out how to rotate the security camera... The one Wes picked out is a total dinosaur." said Nishan
"My tech guy said it's top of the line." said Wes
"Maybe in 2009!" Nishan exclaimed
"We can't leave anything to chance on this one but I think I know someone who can help." said Jess
"We'd better hurry! Pandora's gonna show up any minute." said Julian
A few minutes later. Henry sets up the camera "Okay... lucky for you, I used a camera like this back in middle school and using THIS command, we can control the camera direction remotely."
"We did it! The camera is good to go." said Jess
The team watches the monitors, waiting for Pandora to enter the room and grab the box.
"I'm loving this camera angle!" said Payton
"The overhead view lends a certain inhumanity to the POV. It really adds to the suspense!" said Henry
"Let's just hope this movie doesn't have a twist ending." said Wes
"Guys... the door is opening!" Nishan pointed
The door slowly opens. Then, suddenly, the power goes out! The room is plunged into darkness, and the security monitors go out!
"This seems bad. Is this bad?" Julian panicked
"This is a nightmare! My big shot is ruined!" Henry panicked
"Who cares about the shot? We just missed our chance to identify Pandora!" Julian sighed
"She must have set up a timer to blow the building's main fuse... or blackmailed someone into shutting it down manually!" Wes pointed
Suddenly, the lights turn back on.
"Is everyone okay?" Jess asked
"We're fine... but I can't say the same for the plan! Look at the video feed! The cash box is gone!" said Payton
"This is a disaster!" Henry panicked
"Or is it?" Wes smirked
"Wes... why are you smiling?" Jess asked
"Because I always have a backup plan." said Wes
"Backup plan. I like the sound of that." said Jess
"Nishan and I figured Pandora would try something tricky." said Wes
"So the two of us threw one more camera into the mix." Nishan smiled
"A smartphone camera that we stuck INSIDE the box." said Wes
"Once Pandora opens the box, we'll get a live feed on this monitor right here!" said Nishan
"What a brilliant POV shot! This is going to be the best movie ever!" said Henry
"And I can't WAIT for the final scene... when our villain is finally unmasked!" Wes exclaimed
Everyone watches the monitor whose video feed is linked to the smartphone in the money box.
"How long do we have to wait? The anticipation is killing me!" Payton exclaimed
"According to Kara, Pandora is cash-crazy. We shouldn't have to wait too long." said Jess
"Wait a second... where did Kara go?" Nishan asked
"Who cares?! I want to find out who Pandora is." said Payton
Suddenly, a patch of light appears on the monitor, as Pandora opens the box.
"No way! Pandora is." Jess exclaimed
Pandora opens the box, revealing her face to be Lacey face the camera inside!
"No way! Pandora is LACEY!" Everyone exclaimed
Lacey's face twists in rage as she notices the smartphone camera. Wes presses a button, starting a video call with the phone. "So... the mask comes off, I suppose. Meet Pandora."
"It's over, Lacey. We've caught you red-handed." said Jess
"Oh sure, YOU know who I am... But what proof do you actually have to show the authorities?" Lacey smirked
"Well, for starters, you're just standing there with a box full of stolen money!" Jess pointed
"You don't even know where I am!" Lacey smirked
"Actually, there's a GPS chip in that phone... so we know EXACTLY where you are. The girl's bathroom!" Nishan smirked
"In that case, the phone's going in the sink. Catch me if you can!" Suddenly, the feed goes dead!
"We've got a runner!" Wes pointed
"We've got to catch her before she gets away" Jess, Nishan, Wes, Julian and Payton run out of the security room down the hall toward Pandora's last known location. "There she is! Down the hall!"
"She's got a good lead... we've got to hurry!" Julian exclaimed
Jess sprint down the hall, closing in on Lacey. "It's over, Lacey! No point in running!"
"That's it... I'm taking off my heels!" Lacey takes off her shoes and throws them down the hall toward her. She duck, and the show flies over your head. "Nice try!"
"Ha! Try to catch me now that I can actually run!" Lacey smirked
Jess keep running. Up ahead, Lacey takes a left down the hall.
"Don't let her get away!" Wes exclaimed
"She went left, right? RIGHT?!" Julian panicked frantically
"Everyone! Listen! She went left! She went left!" Jess exclaimed. The group takes a left. "There she is... at the door to the parking lot!"
"Looks like you lose!" Lacey opens the door to the parking lot and stops dead in her tracks!
"What's going on?" Jess asked
Jess's group runs up to the doorway. Outside, you see Lacey with her hands on her head. She's surrounded by cops in squad cars!
"What the..." Lacey exclaimed
"What's going on?!" Jess exclaimed
Several police officers approach Lacey and examine the box of cash.
"Check inside, officers. You'll find the charity money. Just like I told you." Kara smirked
"You called the cops on me?!" Lacey exclaimed
"Looks like it sweetie." Kara smiled
"I can't believe it. Kara actually saved the day! We did it! We got Pandora!" Jess sighs in
"But don't we want to know WHY she did it?" Wes asked
"There is one way to find out..." Without another word, Jess walk over to talk to Lacey.
Lacey stands next to a squad car, as the police fill out paperwork.
"Lacey... why'd you do it?" Jess asked
"I had my reasons." Lacey grumbled
"What could have possibly justified all this? What did we ever do to you?" Jess exclaimed
Lacey face turn to fury and anger "You want to know why? You REALLY want to know why? Fine, I'll tell you..." Jess wait with bated breath as Lacey reveals her true motives. "When I first came to Athena, everything was fine. I was rich, popular, and living the glamorous lifestyle. Then my dad's company went bankrupt, and we lost everything, even our house! The Headmistress agreed to let me keep attending on scholarship."
"So what's the problem?" Jess asked
Lacey explains everything "The problem isn't about going to Athena. It's about keeping up with everyone else! Over there, everyone goes home to mansions, wears Gucci, and gets a Lexus on their sixteenth birthday. If I couldn't keep up, it'd be a sign of weakness. Everyone would start pitying me Lacey you poor poor girl and I'd lose my status! I didn't need anyone's help. I didn't need their pity. I could get by on my own. For a while, I got by skimming money off school finds as Student Body President but then that goody two-shoes Katherine started getting more and more popular! I knew no one could be that perfect and nice so I tailed her to that Places for People house and saw her kissing Bridgette's boyfriend! I KNEW she wasn't innocent! And to think she was going to breeze into being Cotillion Queen! Because she was so NICE!" Lacey shouted loudly and angrily everyone gasped seeing what Lacey really is
"I... see." Jess sighed
"Well, I wasn't going to let that happen. So I set the sprinklers up to soak me, knowing everyone would feel sorry for me! After I won, I realized all of the things that 'Pandora' could get me. Like winning the CAT funding... The money came in and as school president, I made sure it all went right into my bank account! It was perfect I got to keep up my lifestyle, stay popular, and put that spoiled little brat in her place. At least it was perfect until tonight." Lacey sighed
"I'm sorry it's that way... but does it really justify blackmail? Stealing money from a charity? Hurting everyone." Jess confronted
"I guess I'll have plenty of time to think about that where I'm going..." Just then, the police walk over and escort Lacey into a squad car.
"I guess... I guess it's really over." Jess sighed
Jess's friends approach you.
"We overheard a lot of what she said. I almost feel bad for her..." said Payton
"So she wasn't born rich. It's no excuse for hurting other people." Wes glared
"For now, I think we can just celebrate the fact that Pandora won't be bugging us anymore." Nishan cheered
"Did you just say celebrate? Because I THINK you just said celebrate!" Payton squealed
"Are you seriously suggesting?" Jess asked
"Pandora is gone! For REAL this time. It's time for a PARTY!"
That night Payton throws a party at Party Central the whole school are invited to the party, the girls from Athena are also invited.
"Thanks for inviting us to your party!" Katherine danced on the dance floor
"I still can't believe it about Lacey." Bridgette sighed
"She's been expelled and the police are still sorting through all the charges against her. Embezzling... blackmail and that's just for starters." Katherine listened
Nothing will ever replace my mom's locker but at least Pandora is behind bars now." Autumn sighed sadly
"Actually I'm glad you brought that up. Here, open this." Katherine hands a small box over to Autumn, who opens it finding a replica of a locket
"My locket!" Autumn exclaimed
"I feel responsible destroying your locket. Not exactly it's actually a replica. I know the original can never be replaced but I hope this one can signify a new start. Money can't buy everything, but it DOES pay for a good silversmith." Katherine pointed
"It means a lot, Katherine. Thank you." Autumn smiles hugs Katherine, Wes flashes a thumbs up
"But that's not all! Jess, I'd like to thank your school for helping us take down Pandora. I have something really BIG in mind, and it's going to be amazing! Make sure you clear your calendars next week, so it'll be easier to book flights." Katherine smiled
"Flights?" Jess asked
"Whoops, I've said too much!" Katherine covers her mouth
Suddenly, Nishan runs in to the party "Quick! Someone turn on the TV! There's something on the news you're not going to like!"
Jess turn on the TV, to reveal Kara and Max holding a press conference with Professor Edwin
"As soon as I heard someone was bullying students in the area, I knew I had to do something! That's why I, and I alone, set up the trap to catch Pandora." Kara sighed
"Kara's just such a good person she couldn't let injustice go unpunished." Max sighed
"They're taking all of the credit!" Jess exclaimed
"No fair! Max wasn't even there!" Julian grumbled
Kara and Max's press conference continues. "Now that Pandora's blackmail has been exposed, it NATURALLY calls all of Hearst High's recent scandals into question."
"Pandora probably BLACKMAILED Hearst's students and teachers into doing a lot of cheating and stuff." said Max
"Which is why we're asking the school board for a full pardon." said Kara
Julian shuts off the TV angrily. "No way! We should have known not to trust Kara."
"This is exactly what happened in the new Star Trek She's betray us in the third act!" Nishan exclaimed
"Not exactly Nishan Kara did help us catch Pandora. Kara and Max took the credit for everything. In beating one enemy it appears we've reawakened another." Wes sighed
Not long Hearst reopened Jess and her friend meet up with Kara and Max at the parking lot.
"Hey loser so sad to be leaving this school." Kara said sarcastically
"You took all the credit." Julian prepare to lunge at Kara and Max. Jess and Autumn stopped Julian
"It's not worth it." Jess stopped Julian
"Same as always Julian." Max taunted
"Max wasn't even there." Julian glared angrily
"Where proof?" Max taunted
"We should have never trusted Kara." Julian grumbled
"You needed my help whether you like it not." Kara argued. "Pandora so good at covering her track or our lives will turn into a nightmare forever."
"It's true we needed Kara's help." Wes sighed sadly
"My Dad offered to pay for their dream university it wasn't long for new student to enroll Hearst." Max smirked
"More like a bribe as usual." Jess rolled her eyes
"If you transfer back to Hearst my Dad can pay for your university." Max offered
"If this is a trick?" Julian glared
"No tricks my Dad willing to cover the tuition of your dream university. I guarantee you can get in University of Michigan they have a great sports program. What do you say guys?" Max asked
They shake their head
"Thanks but no thanks. It not right we rather earn our place fair and square." said Nishan
They nodded
"Your loss. Look like were rival again buddy." Max taunted
"Let settle this in the next football game. Later chumps we better enroll back to Hearst." Max and Kara drove off
"Hearst is open again Pandora takes the blame blackmailing them." said Jess
"The rivalry never end." Julian sighed
"Your both destined to rival." said Jess
"Same with Kara and her squad." Mia sighed
"On the bright side Lacey is finally behind bar." Jess pointed
"Yeah she can hurt anymore people." said Autumn
