Eight months later
Abi woke up to a sudden kick in her stomach. She began rubbing her swollen belly.
"Are you okay?" Jeison asked.
"Yeah. They are just really excited."
Jeison rubbed Abi's stomach and felt their unborn child kick.
Abi winced and smiled. "They are going to be an energetic one."
"Yeah."
Jeison jumped out of bed and helped Abi sit up before he made some tea before he made her breakfast, readied a bottle of formula for Naruto, and made breakfast for himself.
Abi laughed. "You're really taking this whole bed rest thing seriously, aren't you?"
"Tsume would skin me alive if I let you break doctors' orders." Jeison responded.
"The fearless assassin? Afraid of the Dog Ninja?"
"She's terrifying." Jeison said.
"Who's terrifying?" Tsume asked from the doorway.
"Whoa!" Jeison jumped.
Abi burst into tears, she laughed so hard. "I don't care what you think, that was funny!" She laughed at Jeison.
"Did I miss something?" Tsume chuckled.
"Jeison was just saying how terrifying you are."
"You think I'm terrifying?"
"Well, you did threaten to feed me to your dogs if I didn't follow the doctors' orders to a T." Jeison explained.
"Oh. I suppose I did. Are you following the doctors' orders?"
"He is." Abi said. "It's kind of annoying how good he's following them. I'm a warrior. I'm not meant to be bed ridden."
"You are carrying precious cargo. You don't want to put it in danger by doing something dangerous, do you?"
"No." Abi sighed.
"Good. I just came to check if you needed anything today."
"Not right now. I have my Wet Nurse Jutsu to take care of Naruto if I need to."
"Okay."
Jeison scarfed down his food and kissed Abi. "Love you." He said. "I'll be back for lunch."
"Bye." Abi said.
Jeison ruffled Naruto's hair and kissed his head. "Be good for Abi." He said before he and Tsume left the apartment.
"So. How are things?" Tsume asked.
"They're fine, though I saw a couple of the villagers hanging around. They walk away as soon as they see me, but other than that they haven't done anything."
"I See. Want me to put some of my..."
"If it's not a problem. If it is then don't bother. Abi is exceptionally skilled with her Insect Jutsu."
"I'll see who I can send."
"Thank you. Now, I'm off to T and I and the Butchers."
"See ya."
Jeison waved at Tsume and made his way to T and I. "Hey Ibiki. What's up?"
"Not much." Ibiki told him. "Found a spy."
"Oh. Did you try that new technique I told you about?"
"Yeah."
"Did you break 'em?"
"Yeah."
"Ey! See, I told ya it would work."
"I want to know how you learned how to do that."
"You can thank Orochimaru for implanting those memories in my head."
"The day I thank Orochimaru is the day I retire from the T and I."
"Mind if I quote you on that?"
"Get out of here."
"I'm here for the blood."
"You're like a vampire."
"Maybe I'll get to keep the name."
"What name?"
"The Vampire Ninja."
"Who gave you that name?"
"I've heard it around the village."
"Great. Soon you'll be as bad as Kakashi."
"I'm not sure is that's a compliment or an insult."
"Just take your blood and get out of here."
Jason walked into the morgue and cast Blood Clone Jutsu. The blood from the corpses formed into two clones of Jeison.
The trio left T and I and walked to the butchers.
"Hello Katsuza." Jeison said.
"Jeison." Katsuza bowed.
"Do you have any blood for me?"
"For you? No. For the Vampire Ninja? Yes."
"Are you the one who spread that nickname?"
"Perhaps." Katsuza said.
"You've got to stop doing that."
"Why? Every Shinobi worth his salt has a nickname."
"What about the female Shinobi."
"Their place is in the home. They aren't meant to be on the battlefield."
"But there are perfectly capable female Shinobi."
"They aren't meant to be Shinobi. They are meant to raise children and make a home. Not running around getting filthy in the wild."
"Abi is an exceptional Shinobi."
"She is pregnant with your child. Do you really want her to be out in the wild when she could be home looking after your child and ready with warm Saké when you come home?"
"So long as Abi is happy, I don't care what she does. If she wants to be a Shinobi, who am I to stop her?"
"You are the man of the house. Make her stay home."
"You don't know Abi very well. If I tried to do that... she'd kill me, plus. I don't have a problem with Abi being a Shinobi."
"You'll regret that kind of thinking one day."
"Not today."
"Whatever you say." Katsuza said. "Here's the animal blood."
Jeison cast Blood Clone Jutsu, creating two more clones. "I'll tell Abi you said hi." He said as the group left.
They made their way to the Uzumaki compound and began working.
They worked for maybe an hour when a bored voice spoke up.
"Want some help?" Kakashi asked.
Jeison turned to look at Kakashi while his clones kept working. "I won't say no, but don't you have missions to do?"
"Today's my day off."
"Then I won't say no."
Kakashi created two shadow clones and began working on rebuilding the Uzumaki Compound.
"So." Jeison said. "Did the Uzumaki's adopt you?"
Kakashi was silent for a while before speaking up. "Yes." He said.
" so, You're Naruto's brother."
"I guess so."
"Do you want to be a part of his life?"
Kakashi stopped working. "What?" He asked.
"Do you want to be a part of Naruto's life? He's your brother. The only reason that Abi and I have him is because We found him. As far as I'm concerned you have more right to him than we do, but we don't want to give him up because we love him. So, if you want you can still be a part of his life." Jeison could feel pain from Kakashi. "I'm sorry. I wasn't thinking. This must be painful for you."
"It's not that I don't want to, it's that I can't."
"Why not?"
"Because. It's easier to keep my distance than to face Naruto right now."
"Why?"
"Because... because... I was the one who was supposed to protect Kushina and Naruto and Minato, and I failed. How can I look Naruto in the face when I'm the one responsible for his..."
Kakashi was cut off when Jeison grabbed his shoulder. "Because. This way you both can heal. You get to spend time with your brother, and he gets to know that he's not alone."
"He has you and Abi."
"Yes, but you have something that we don't."
"What's that?"
"You know about his parents."
Kakashi looked at Jeison and went back to work.
Jeison could feel the pain he was going through, but he felt something else. Something was wrong.
He left the Uzumaki compound as if on autopilot. He walked through town in a daze and was soon joined by Kakashi. The two made their way back to the apartment. They found a trail of blood leading up to the apartment and flew up the stairs. Jeison kicked open the door to a sight that made the hairs all over his body stand on end. The apartment was covered in blood and in the center of the house was a pile.
Jeison ran to the pile and saw Abi and Naruto dead on the floor. Abi's stomach had been ripped open and their unborn child lay dead on the floor, and Naruto's skull had been stomped in.
"NOOOOO!" Jeison yelled, his pupils dilating while his blood pumped faster, and adrenaline flooded his body supercharging it. His senses went into overdrive allowing him to see, hear, taste, feel, and Smell everything around him.
In his supercharged state he could smell that his apartment didn't smell like blood; but that didn't make sense. How could it be covered in blood but not smell like blood?
He couldn't think straight. His apartment had to smell like blood. It was covered in it. How could it not smell like blood?
Tsume was walking around town when she felt KI that made her cringe followed by the sound of someone screaming. She and Kuromaru took off running and found themselves at Jeison and Abi's apartment. They could see blood, but they couldn't smell it. They ran up the stairs and to Jeison and Abi's apartment where they saw Jeison on his knees and Kakashi standing behind him shaking; though in rage or fear she couldn't tell.
They walked inside and saw Abi, Naruto, and Jeison's unborn child dead on the floor with Abi's stomach ripped open.
Tsume gasped and took a step back. Who would do something like this?
Kuromaru began sniffing the air and sniffed towards the closet before pawing at it and whining.
Tsume ran over and saw Abi and Naruto in the closet passed out. "HERE!" She yelled.
Jeison and Kakashi were by her side in seconds. Jeison saw Abi and Naruto, and handed Naruto to Kakashi who wasn't sure how to hold him.
Tsume put Kakashi's arms in the right position before placing Naruto back in his arms.
Jeison picked up Abi and looked at Tsume with panicked eyes. "What should I do?" He asked in a voice that sounded nothing like him. It was probably the shock that was making him sound so... dead.
"Let's take them to the healer." She said, leading them out of the house and towards the hospital.
The citizens were shocked to see Tsume and Kuromaru leading Jeison who was holding an unconscious, pregnant Abi, and Kakashi holding an unconscious Naruto.
Tsume led them to the hospital and barged in. "I need help!" She ordered.
Two healers ran over. "What happened?" They asked.
"Don't know." Tsume said, "found them hidden in a closet."
The healer tried taking Abi, but Jeison let off a wave of KI that made the healer jump back.
"Jeison!" Tsume yelled. "He's only trying to help!"
"This way." The healer said to Jeison, leading him to a room.
Jeison followed and the healer told him to lay Abi on the bed.
Jeison laid Abi on the bed and Kakashi stood in the room with Naruto.
"Please." A nurse said to Kakashi. "Please. Bring him here so we can check him."
Kakashi staggered to the bed and shakily placed Naruto down but didn't move very far.
The healers and Nurses looked at Abi and Naruto.
Everyone jumped when Naruto woke up and started crying. A nurse determined he was hungry and made a bottle of formula for him which he drank greedily.
The healer looked at Abi and started signing a medical Jutsu before moving his hands over Abi's body. "It looks like she's just exhausted. Who's her regular healer?"
Jeison stood there, looking at Abi.
"Hey!" Tsume asked, snapping her fingers in front of his face.
Jeison jumped and looked at Tsume with expressionless eyes. "Wh-what?" He asked.
"He asked who her regular doctor is. Do you remember? If not do you want me to take over here?"
"Uh, um, it's... it's... I... I can't remember."
"Are you hurt?" The healer asked.
"What?"
"Are you hurt?"
"N-no. My fa-family is."
"Why don't you sit down." The medic-nin suggested.
Jeison sat down, and Tsume pulled him against the wall. "Just leave this to me kid." She said.
"O-okay."
"What's wrong with him?" Tsume asked the healer.
"He's gone into shock. It's not unheard of for a spouse to go into shock when their partner passes out, but this..."
"He found his family hidden in a closet after finding a Genjutsu of his family murdered on the floor of his apartment."
"Oh."
"Yeah, oh. Now. Her normal healer is Katsubu Kahono."
"You." The healer said to a nurse. "Go get Healer Kahono."
"Yes Healer Haraku." The nurse said running to find healer Kahono.
Tsume walked over to Jeison and pulled him to his feet. "Jeison. Snap out of it. Abi is going to need you when she wakes up."
Jeison looked at her and shook his head. He nodded and walked over to Abi's bed and knelt next to it before he took her hand. He gave it a squeeze and looked at Kakashi.
Kakashi looked at Jeison and wanted to ask what to do, but Jeison looked just as lost as him.
Naruto finished the bottle and looked up at Kakashi, reaching for him.
Kakashi held his hand toward Naruto who grabbed two of his fingers and held on with a death grip.
Kakashi wasn't sure what to do so he stood there, bending over the bed, letting Naruto hold his fingers.
"It might be more comfortable to sit or kneel." A nurse said.
"Oh. Okay." Kakashi agreed, kneeling down.
A moment later a healer and the Hokagé ran into the room. "What happened?" They asked in unison.
"It didn't feel right." Jeison said. "It just didn't feel right so we went home. When we got home, we saw Abi and Naruto dead on the floor. Then Tsume came in and found them in a closet. It was so real her Genjutsu was so real. I couldn't smell blood, but it was so real. Why was it so real?" He looked at Sarutobi for an explanation, but one would have to wait because Shikaku Nara and Chōza Akimichi walked in with a group of villagers.
"You'll want to hear what they have to say." Shikaku said in a voice that lacked his usual laziness.
Sarutobi looked at the Villagers and glared at them. "Start talking." He said.
Shikaku and Chōza walked into one of the restaurants for lunch. They found a table and sat, waiting for Inoichi to join them.
"So." Chōza said. "How's Yoshino and Shikamaru doing?"
"Yoshino is as troublesome as ever, but Shikamaru is going to be a great Shinobi, I know it."
"That's good to hear."
"How's the wife and kid?"
"Fine. Hirohata had a rough pregnancy, but she's doing fine now. Chōji was a big baby."
"Like father like son I see."
Chōza laughed. "We'll see. Where do you think Inoichi is?"
"Troublesome." Shikaku sighed. "He probably got caught up with work again."
"Probably. Should we start without him?"
Shikaku started listening to a conversation about Jeison and Abi.
"Ha!" A voice laughed loudly. "They'll think that the Vampire Ninja snapped and killed them. We'll finally be done with them, and the Demon brat."
"That doesn't sound good." Chōza said.
"No. It doesn't. Let's go find out what happened. Follow my lead."
The two walked to the next table, and Shikaku spoke up. "So, you guys finally rid our village of the Demon Brat?" He asked.
"That we did." One villager slurred. "Stomped the demon brats head in and gutted that bitch before ripping her demon spawn from her. You should have seen it when the light left her eyes."
Shikaku's eyes blazed with fury while Chōza tightened his fists together.
The villagers looked at the Shinobi before they realized they'd screwed up.
"Absolute Shadow Prison Jutsu!" Shikaku yelled, sending Shadows through the restaurant to grab the Villagers.
Chōza grabbed two of the villagers in his arms and grabbed two more with his hands before dragging them outside.
Shikaku grabbed the other two villagers and pulled them outside by their shadows.
The two Shinobi began walking towards the Hokagé's office when they saw the Hokagé and a Healer running for the hospital, so they made their way to the hospital with the drunken villagers trying to feebly break free.
When they arrived at the hospital they found where the Hokagé was and dropped the villagers on the ground. "You'll want to hear what they have to say." Shikaku said in a voice that lacked his usual laziness.
Sarutobi looked at the Villagers and glared at them. "Start talking." He said.
The villagers looked at one another before they looked at the bed and saw that Abi was still alive.
"What! How! We killed her!"
Jeison jumped up and over Abi's bed, landing in front of the Villagers. He grabbed one by the throat and lifted him up. "what. Did you? Do!" He demanded, his eyes going black and amber.
The villager screamed out in agony as Jeison's Kekkie Genkai activated causing him unimaginable pain.
When the first villager passed out from the pain, Jeison reached for the second one, but was stopped when Shikaku grabbed him by his shadow.
"They can't tell you anything if they can't speak!" He said.
Jeison glared at the Villagers. "Tell me what happened. I will get the information, one way, or another." He cracked his knuckles and glared at them.
"We'll talk!" A villager yelled.
"Oh. I know you will." Jeison snarled. "Now talk!"
"Come on." A villager said, grabbing his Kama. "It's time to kill the demon brat! That bitch can't do anything while stuck in bed!"
The other Villagers grabbed axes, hatchets, picks, and Kuwa's and cheered before they made their way to the apartment.
They made sure to stick to the opposite side of town so they wouldn't draw attention to themselves and ran up the stairs to the apartment. They forced the door open and saw the bitch lying in bed with the demon brat in the care of her Wet Nurse clone they ran into the room and cut down the clone causing the demon brat to fall to the floor and started crying.
One of the villagers stomped his head under his foot while the others ran to the bitch and pulled her out of bed causing her to fall on her stomach. She held her stomach protectively, but the villagers just rolled her over before the one with the Kama stabbed her in the stomach and pulled down, gutting her.
The villagers reached inside her stomach and pulled her spawn out of her womb and threw it to the floor.
They watched as the light left her eyes and left the apartment, making sure to close the door.
They went their separate ways, taking their tools home and washing them before washing themselves and met back at the restaurant to celebrate.
Jeison looked at the men with contempt and disgust. He was so mad that he couldn't make words.
The healers and other Shinobi looked horrified at the villagers level of cruelty and Sadism.
Sarutobi wasn't sure what to be. These villagers had gone directly against his will. He'd told them that anymore attacks against Naruto or the Tenshi's would be given dire consequences. "You broke a class SS secret." He said. "Why would you do that? You know the penalty for breaking a class SS secret. So, why?"
"You let that filthy brat and these strangers into our village!" A villager snapped. "We were trying to do what was best for Konoha!"
Jeison kicked the man hard enough to break his jaw. "You tried murdering my wife and children!" He hissed. "All because you hate us for taking Naruto in!"
"Jeison!" Sarutobi snapped. "You can get your answers at T and I. I will ask Ibiki to let you train under him to find out why they did what they did."
"You're Lucky that I have honor." Jeison told the villagers.
"What does an assassin know of honor!" A villager snapped.
"So, I suppose that you would want me to torture your families to death in front of you while you watch helplessly strapped to a chair!"
The villagers went pale.
"I thought not." Jeison hissed. "That is why I have more honor than you. I will make you pay for your own crimes."
Sarutobi left to get Ibiki and his interrogation specialists while the others tried to keep Jeison from killing the villagers.
When Sarutobi came back he had Ibiki plus four of Ibiki's specialists.
"Ibiki. Please take Jeison to T and I and allow him to train under you and your specialists. These six have broken an SS class secret. I'm sure that I don't have to tell you what the penalty for treason is."
"No lord third." Ibiki said.
The villagers began panicking when they saw Ibiki and his specialists.
Each specialist grabbed a Villager leaving two, one for Ibiki and the other for Jeison.
They left the hospital for T and I, taking the oppressive KI from Jeison with them.
"I'd almost feel bad for them." Tsume said, "but they did attack Abi, even if it was a Genjutsu of her."
"I Wonder of there will be anything left of them once Jeison is finished." Chōza said.
"Not likely." Shikaku said. "Didn't you feel that KI? Add that to the fact that he was raised to cause pain? They'll likely be husks by the time he's done with them."
"It's no less than they deserve." Kakashi said, his single eye showing more disgust than any face ever could. " Maybe this will show people not to mess with them."
"Will this break their probation?" Shikaku asked Sarutobi.
"No. They have gone eight months without incident, and this is the first time anything has happened, so I don't think it will."
"Good." Tsume said. "Otherwise, we'd have a problem on our hands."
Sarutobi looked around the room. "Perhaps it would be best to let the healers work?" He suggested.
The group with the exception of Kakashi left the room and Kakashi watched Naruto. He knew that if he were permitted to help then he would Chidori every last one of those bastards. He'd just have to wait and see what Jeison did to them.
One week later
The villagers 18 and older and Shinobi who were Chunin or higher were gathered for the execution of the villagers who had attacked the Tenshi family.
"Today." Sarutobi began. "We are here because these six broke an SS secret. For that. They must accept the consequences. Bring out the accused."
Six severely tortured villagers were led to the center of town, though led was perhaps too kind a word. They were dragged through town and tied to posts by six clones of Jeison.
"For those of you, who still have thoughts of killing the Tenshi clan..." Sarutobi stated. "...I expect that you will want to forget those ideas after today. Unfortunately, Naruto Uzumaki died from the injuries he sustained."
Jeison looked at Sarutobi with horror filled eyes, and tears ran down his face.
"Therefore." Sarutobi continued. "The penalty is death."
Jeison let his clones fall becoming puddles of blood and signed Blood Spire Jutsu. The pools of Blood formed spirals and impaled the villagers who had tried murdering Abi and who's attack had led to Naruto's death.
The villagers watching the execution were caught off guard by such a brutal attack that a few of them became physically sick while others covered their children's eyes, but the village as a whole agreed that the Tenshi clan was completely off limits.
Sarutobi watched as Jeison ruthlessly executed the villagers before turning to Ibiki. "What are your thoughts on young Jeison?"
"He's a natural when it comes to torture and interrogation. He's even taught me a few things. When he becomes a Chunin I'm going to ask him to apply to T and I."
"I See. Was he too brutal?"
"No. He followed protocol and got any and all information from the villagers."
"I See." Sarutobi said as he watched Jeison shake ever so slightly.
"You know that you're going to have to tell him the truth about Naruto, right?"
"Yes." Sarutobi said, walking to Jeison.
"Why did you lie about Naruto being dead?" Jeison asked.
"You knew?"
"Yes, I knew. Abi has kept me up to date on her and Naruto's conditions ever since she woke up."
"Oh."
"How are you going to explain Naruto NOT being dead then?"
"We will tell them that it was a lie to keep Naruto alive long enough so that he could defend himself."
"And when Abi and I start school? How are they not going to notice his yellow hair? If you haven't noticed, I have blue hair and Abi has Violet hair. How are we going to dye his hair that will look like one of our hair colors? Blue and violet makes Lavender."
Sarutobi pulled in his beard. "I see your point. I suppose that you'll have to die his hair."
Jeison had memories of dyeing hair and making oneself blend in. Who knew that all the memories that Orochimaru had given him would come in handy? "Fine, but I have one more request."
"What is it?"
"Let Kakashi have more time to spend with Naruto."
"I can't do that."
"Why not!"
"Because. He's already taken all of his time off to spend with Naruto."
Jeison blinked. "What?"
"...and then you tuck that edge into the side." Abi walked Kakashi through changing Naruto.
"Thank you for teaching me, Tenshi San." Kakashi said.
"Just call me Abi." Abi said.
"Oh. Thank you." Kakashi said, his one eye showing that he was embarrassed by the positive reinforcement.
"You're Welcome. I should be thanking you for the help. What with Jeison being gone and me on bed rest? I can't wait for the baby to be out of me."
"You should thank Jeison. He's the one who told me that Naruto needed me because I can offer him something that you both can't."
"Oh?" Abi asked. "What's that?"
"His parents. I can tell him stories about Minato and Kushina."
"Oh. That's so great!" Abi said before she moaned.
"Are you okay?"
"Yeah. The baby just kicked is all."
"Oh. Okay."
"Do you want to feel the baby kick?"
"Can I?" Kakashi asked, more out of respect than curiosity.
Abi reached out for Kakashi who reached out his hand reluctantly. Abi grabbed his hand and placed it on her stomach and held it there.
Kakashi felt pressure and remembered Kushina grabbing his hand and letting him feel Naruto kick back before he was born.
"What's wrong?" Abi asked.
"What?" Kakashi asked in confusion.
"You're crying."
Kakashi touched his face and pulled it away to see that his finger was wet.
"Do you need to talk?" Abi asked gently.
That was what broke him. The genuine kindness in her words caused him to break down in front of her.
"Kakashi!" She yelled.
"He's coming to terms with what happened." Jeison said from the doorway.
"Oh. Okay. Those memories Orochimaru gave you really are amazing."
"Actually, the owner of the memories was a bit of a drama Queen and emotionally stunted. I'm surprised they were able to function at all considering what they went through in their early childhood."
"Do you want to talk?"
"It's weird, having all these memories. Living a life that I didn't live. I wonder if it's a punishment from Orochimaru."
"What do you remember?"
"I know what it's like to go to sleep, what it's like to be so hungry it hurts. I know it feels like to have your freedom taken away and be violated in ways a child should never be violated. If anyone hurt Naruto or our child or even Kakashi the way they hurt the owner of these memories... Torture and Interrogation would have to write a book on the tortures I would make the bastards endure."
Kakashi looked up at Jeison. "Why me? I'm not a child nor a member of your family."
"That's where you're wrong. Your Naruto's brother. We're just his adoptive parents. You have more right to him than us. The way I see it, that makes you a part of the family, if you want to be."
Kakashi looked at them and his eye became distant. "I... need to go."
"You're Not." Jeison said. "You're Not a curse on any family you join."
"Huh?" Kakashi asked.
"You were thinking that you're a curse on any family you join, right? Well, you're not! Get that through your skull. You are a human being with a right to have feelings and be happy!"
"You don't understand." Kakashi said.
"No, I think I do. The previous owner of these memories lost their mother, their father remarried and he lost his father and stepmother, he was adopted by a man who trained him, found his mother, was killed by a madman, came back from the dead, made friends along the way, lost them one by one, he found letters telling him that his father was betrayed and abandoned causing him to abandon him and his stepmother, and his adoptive father forsook him. He didn't see himself as a curse. He was a bit of a drama queen and blamed everyone else for what happened to him, but he didn't see himself as a curse. Now. Are you going to stop thinking like that, or do I have to beat some sense into you?"
Kakashi raised an eyebrow. "That is an unusual way to cheer someone up." He said.
"Did it make you feel better ya drama queen?"
"A little."
"Good. So, how much time did you take off?"
"I have six months leave stored up. I took two months off of C-Rank and higher missions. I'll only be doing D-Rank missions around the village, unless something bad happens."
There was a knock on the door and Mikoto walked in. "Hello Tenshi clan." She said. "Hello Hakate-kun."
"Hello Mikoto." Abi said.
"Hello Uchiha-San." Jeison and Kakashi bowed.
"Oh, stop that." Mikoto said, waving them off. "I just came to check up on you guys to make sure you guys were okay. Jeison, you we're terrifying this morning when you killed those Villagers. I can see why they call you the Vampire Ninja."
Jeison blushed. "They deserved their end." He said.
"I'm not saying they didn't. Keep this up and you could be Hokagé one day."
"Me? Hokagé?"
"Yes."
"What is that, responsibility? Get that shit away from me."
Everyone looked at Jeison before they began laughing.
"How are Itachi and Sasuke?" Abi asked after she caught her breath.
"Itachi is staying out of trouble. He's a good boy, but he doesn't like needless violence. He and Fugaku don't see eye to eye."
"I can understand why." Jeison said. "Fugaku is..." he stopped to think of the right word.
"Fugaku means well." Mikoto said.
"Maybe." Abi said. "But that doesn't mean that he needs to be so... cold."
"I have memories of a police officer who dealt with terrible, almost horrific, crimes, but was still a good father. Even when a monster paralyzed and violated his daughter."
"How!" Abi demanded. "If someone did that to Naruto I wouldn't stop until his bones were paste!"
"He's a genuinely good person. The only slight against him was a minor case of cheating when he first started working in the village called Gotham."
"You call that a small thing?"
"Compared to most things in that village? Yes."
The group looked at him with different expressions.
"What?" He asked.
"What were things like in that village?"
"There was a T and I Ninja who had half of his body melted off with acid and gained multiple personalities, bird ninja who had a thing for penguins, a fear ninja who used his fear Jutsu's for his own personal gain, cat ninja who liked stealing things, a ninja who used ice Justu's to stay alive after an accident, a ninja who used a drug to make himself stronger, and a ninja who made Orochimaru look tame."
Abi shuddered. If there was someone worse than Orochimaru she never wanted to meet them.
"There were all kept in line by the owner of these memories and his family. The Bat Ninja Clan."
"I See." Mikoto said.
Sasuke began crying, and Mikoto signed the Wet Nurse Clone Jutsu to take care of him while they talked.
"You've gotten good with that." Abi said.
"Thanks. I had a good teacher."
They began talking and we were talking when Abi went quiet. "Something's wrong." She spoke. "My stomach. My stomach hurts, but it's a pain that I can manage."
"I think the baby's coming." Tsume said.
"What should we do!" Jeison yelled.
"Calm down!" Tsume commanded. "Jeison, go get the healer. Then you and Kakashi take Naruto outside and wait until I come and get you. No matter what you hear. Understood?"
"Yes, but..."
"No buts! Now go!"
Jeison and Kakashi left the room to find Healer Kahono. They found her in her office.
"Healer Kahono!" Jeison yelled. "Tsume told us to come get you. They think they baby is coming!"
Healer Kahono came out and walked towards Abi's room with purposeful strides. "Are you coming?" She asked.
"Tsume told us to stay outside until she came to get us." Jeison said.
"I'm the healer, and I outrank Tsume. Abi is going to need you, now come on!"
Jeison followed Healer Kahono back to Abi's room and saw blood. His eyes rolled into the back of his head, and he blacked out.
When he came to, he was being restrained by Tsume and Kuromaru. "JEISON!" Tsume shouted. "ABI IS FINE! SHE'S NOT DEAD OR DYING!"
"What?" He asked hoarsely.
"You tried killing us!" Tsume said. "You saw Abi bleeding and went feral."
"I'm sorry. I don't know what happened."
"You saw blood ad flashed back to when you found Abi's Genjutsu." Healer Kahono said. "Now, get over here and hold Abi's hand."
"He doesn't need to be here." Abi said. "This pain is manageable."
"He's the father, so he has a right to be here."
Jeison walked over and took Abi's hand. "Are you okay?"
"Yes!" Abi shouted. "Like I said, the pain is manageable."
Tsume, Mikoto, and Healer Kahono looked at each other in horror. Childbirth was some of the worst pain any of them had ever felt, and Abi was saying that the pain she was feeling was nothing compared to her life before Konoha.
"Ow." Abi said. "That hurt."
Healer Kahono checked something. "I can see the head. Get ready to push."
"Push?" Jeison and Abi asked in unison.
"Yes. How else do you expect the baby to come out?"
"I don't know." Abi said. "I thought it would just slide out I guess."
"If only." Tsume snorted. "Nah, get ready for some bruises."
"If the only thing I have to worry about is some bruises, then bring it..."
All three women knew the moment the pain hit, and Jason felt Abi crush his hand hard enough to crack his knuckles.
"Hold on Jeison." Tsume said. "You're in for the long haul. Just wait until she starts cursing at you for doing that to her."
Jeison began sweating.
Abi's back arched in pain and Jeison heard tearing. "That sounded bad." He spoke.
"Ya think!" Abi shouted, tears streaming down her face.
"What do I do!?" Jason asked.
"You're doing it!" Healer Kahono shouted.
"What! Being useless while Abi suffers!"
"No! You're holding her hand, letting her know that you're there!"
"I feel pretty fucking useless!"
"Shut up!" Abi shouted.
"Here we go!" Healer Kahono shouted.
Jeison watched Abi nurse their daughter. Their daughter. Naruto and Kakashi were big brothers.
"It will take time to heal." Healer Kahono said. "You'll stay here until we release you."
Abi nodded, and yawned, she was so fucking tired. She signed Wet Nurse Jutsu and handed their daughter off to her clone.
"What are you going to name her?" Tsume asked.
"Jeison can pick the name." Abi said. "I'm going to sleep.", and like that, Abi was asleep.
Tsume, Mikoto, and Healer Kahono looked at Jeison expectantly.
"How about Chi?" Jeison asked.
