The engagement party is a chance to take a moment and celebrate the heady thrill of being engaged. It's a chance to have a good time with their friends and family marking the milestone they have hit in their relationship. A party to celebrate the engaged couple and their upcoming wedding. The official kick off to their wedding festivities.

On the evening of Wednesday November 27, 2030

The engagement couple are at Silver's home in Walter Elise Street as they get ready to go for their engagement party.

Silver stood in front of the mirror with his head slightly tilted in the foyer of his home. He wore a black satin slightly ball gown silhouette simple dress, designed and made by Almyra, which featured a sleeveless sweetheart neckline that's trimmed with the exquisite handmade embroidery, adorned with beaded floral motifs. The skirt is floor-length and plain with no ornate design, underneath is a matching black tulle petticoats and bum rolled as well as a pair of black shimmery low pumps. He has 1950s style pin up curls and his accessories are an black chiffon stole and a pearl engagement ring Anthony gave him on his left ring finger. The makeup he wears is natural which makes him look like he isn't wearing any makeup on.

Then he felt a pair of arms snake around his waist.

"Silver, you look absolutely beautiful." a voice purred into Silver's ear.

"Not as much as you do." Silver said back and turned around to face his fiancé. Anthony is dressed in this traditional black tuxedo attire: this consists of a black-coloured tuxedo closed jacket over a white dress shirt. He wears black-coloured dress pants, a dark brown leather belt, an black untied bow tie and a pair of black dress shoes.

"Sil, please. I look this handsome every day." Anthony smiled as Silver lightly kissed his lips. "Also, can you tie this bow for me please?

"How many times do I have to show you?" Silver chuckled. "It's not that difficult, you know."

"Look, this isn't my area of expertise," Anthony replied with a playful pout. "Just help me out, please? I don't want to look like I'm wrestling with a tie at my own engagement party."

Silver couldn't help but find the situation endearing. He gently grabs the bow tie that is around his neck, with skillful fingers, Silver expertly tied Anthony's bow tie, all the while maintaining a playful banter. "Five years together, and you still can't tie a bow tie. I'll just have to add 'bow-tying expert' to my list of talents."

Anthony laughed, "Well, Silver, you have many talents. And I'm very grateful for this one."

"Okay, pay attention now. Cross it over, loop it through, pull it, aaaaannnndddddd... there!" Silver grinned, pleased with his own guidance as Anthony examined the finished product.

"That's magic, you know," Anthony remarked with a smile. "One day I'll master this, and I'll never need help again."

Silver laughed, leaning in closer, teasingly. "Maybe on our golden anniversary." He adjusted Anthony's collar and playfully flicked the bow tie. "There! Now you look flawless, as always."

Anthony lifted a hand to brush a strand of Silver's pin-up curls away from his face. "And you, my love, will be the star of the evening in that breathtaking dress." He kissed Silver's forehead, expressing his gratitude.

"Now, shall we?" He extended his arm to Silver.

As they stepped out of his home, they shared a quick embrace before heading to the engagement party hosted by Anthony's parents. Silver locked the door behind them, arm in arm, excitement tingling flow in their body as they looked forward to an evening of celebration and shared joy.

Then, waiting in front of their home they were met with the sight of the shining Panther De Ville. The sleek, baby blue vintage car, meticulously maintained, glistened under the glow of the light post. Silver's personal chauffeur, Lyle, stood nearby, looking immaculate in his chauffeur uniform.

Lyle was a tall, slightly well-built man in his mid-fourth with a neatly trimmed stubble beard, sporting a classic black suit with golden buttons and a crisp white shirt beneath. He wore white gloves and a black chauffeur's cap, completing his professional and sophisticated look. His face broke into a warm smile as he saw Silver and Anthony approaching.

"Good evening, Your Highness, Captain," Lyle greeted respectfully, tipping his cap as he opened the passenger door for the couple. Anthony, always the gentleman, extended his hand to assist Silver into the car before climbing in after him.

"Good evening, Lyle," Silver greeted back warmly as he gracefully entered the luxurious car. "Thank you for being here to drive us. You look quite sharp this evening."

Anthony followed suit and nodded respectfully to Lyle. "Indeed, Lyle. Thank you for your service."

"Thank you, both of you," Lyle nodded with a friendly smile and closed the car door behind them, ensuring their comfort. He then swiftly made his way to the driver's seat, entering the Panther De Ville with practiced ease.

The engine purred to life, the AC was on as Lyle put into a nice cozy warm temperature to warm the couple and the car gracefully pulled away from the curb. Silver and Anthony settled into their seats, anticipation rising for the engagement party ahead. The streets shimmered with the evening's golden glow as the Panther De Ville glided toward the engagement party.

"Anthony, can you believe your parents are hosting our engagement party?" Silver spoke up with excitement as the car made its way through the winding roads.

"It's surreal, really," Anthony said, gazing at Silver. "Our journey has been nothing short of magical, and tonight is just the beginning."

The Panther De Ville continued its elegant journey, transporting the couple to their engagement party, an event that would mark a significant milestone in their love story that would be etched into their memories forever. The soft hum of the car's engine carried them to the celebration awaiting their arrival.

In Epcot, Anthony's parents, the Duke and Duchess Draventon, are hosting the evening autumn-theme engagement party that is being held at the American Adventure Rotunda in the American Pavilion for their son and soon-to-be son-in-law. They have invited about 230 guests, all of which only Anthony and Silver have invited them, to attend the celebration.

The interior of the Rotunda showcases neoclassical architecture, characterized by its stately twelve white columns, grandiose domed ceiling, white railing, marble floors, and intricate detailing. The soaring columns line the walls of the rotunda, providing a grandeur and elegant look.

The tables are dressed in darker chestnut brown silk tablecloths, each place setting features ornate gold-rimmed dinnerware, crystal glassware, and red burgundy napkins folded like a maple leaf. The buffet and dessert tables are adorned with overflowing bouquets of fall flowers, and they are situated in a way that allows easy access for all the attendees. A large canopy adorned with greenery and flowers extend over the tables, creating a beautiful and cozy dining area. The buffet table features a variety of seasonal delights with an abundance of autumnal harvest-themed dishes, including roasted root vegetables, hearty stews, and a selection of hearty autumn dishes. The dessert table has a feast for the eyes, filled with mini pumpkin tarts, apple crisps, rich chocolate desserts with golden leaf decorations, maple leaf-shaped cookies, and many pastries that were laid out.

All of the guests were dressed in their elegant formal attire, as stated in the dress code on the invite, but were immediately blown away when they walked into the venu by how gorgeous it was. It was truly the most breathtaking sight they had ever seen. It was like they had felt into an Autumn wonderland.

Duke Edward and Duchess Vivian, the hosts of the evening, eyes gleaming with contentment at the sight of the enchanting autumn-themed party they had meticulously orchestrated. They were dressed in formal attire, with the Duke looking handsome in his tailored suit, and the Duchess resplendent in a dark violet gown that exuded regal elegance.

The couple warmly greeted their guests as they arrived, embracing them with genuine warmth and sharing pleasant exchanges. As they made their way through the space, they did of course receive and overhear a barrage of compliments on the stunning decor and the magnificent autumn ambiance they had brought to life.

"Edward, Vivian, this is beyond amazing," praised Paula, Silver's mama, her eyes wandering around in wonder at the stunning setup as she and her husband walk up toward them.

Duchess Vivian graciously accepted the compliment with a humble smile. "We wanted to create a setting that would not only honor the engaged couple but also transport our guests to a magical autumnal wonderland."

Roberto, Paula's husband, struck up a conversation with the Duke. "Edward, I don't think I've ever seen anything quite like this. The theme is perfect for Silver and Anthony."

Duke Edward nodded, his gaze filled with pride. "Oh yes, Roberto. We wanted this engagement party to reflect their love and the beauty of the season. It's wonderful to see their happiness mirrored in the ambiance."

Duchess Vivian nodded, emphasizing the significance of the event. "You see, it's not every day that our children, our very own royal couple, announce their engagement. Silver, The Radiant Boy-Princess, and Anthony, Captain of the Disney Guard, deserve nothing less than a celebration worthy of their love and importance in the magical world."

Paula beamed with pride as she placed a loving hand on her husband's arm. "Roberto, our Silver is a true princess, and now he's found his prince charming. I couldn't be happier."

The Duke, Edward, shared a knowing look with his dear friend. "Roberto, my friend, as parents, we couldn't have asked for a better future for our children. They are destined for greatness, and it warms my heart to see them embark on this journey together."

Duchess Vivian looked at Paula and Roberto with a knowing glint in her eye. "I couldn't agree more. The love that Silver and Anthony share is a storybook romance, and tonight, they're writing a new chapter."

As their conversation continued, the anticipation in the American Adventure Rotunda grew. Guests mingled, enjoying the splendid decor and the atmosphere. They chatted and shared their excitement as they waited for the arrival of Silver and Anthony.

Not far from the Rotunda, the sleek Panther De Ville, carrying Silver and Anthony, finally reached Epcot. The route had been carefully planned to ensure their grand entrance. As the Panther De Ville entered through the Epcot ticket gate, the path was clear, and Epcot's securities ensured that all the park guests knew to make way for the royal couple's arrival. Park visitors who caught sight of the Panther De Ville couldn't help but stop and gaze in awe at the regal vehicle that slowly drove pass them

The guests smiled and waved as they spotted the sleek vehicle, their expressions filled with excitement and joy at the sight of the soon-to-be-married couple. The royal couple, in turn, greeted the well-wishers, waving back and smiling graciously at the guests through the window as they made their way through the park.

Silver and Anthony couldn't contain their joy as they waved to the well-wishers who lined their path behind the securities. The happiness was shown, and their gratitude for the support of the public shone in their expressions. It was a moment of pure magic as they drew nearer to the enchanting engagement party awaiting them in the American Adventure Rotunda

The elegant vehicle continued its smooth progress through the park, moving slowly but gracefully toward the American Adventure Rotunda, where their much-anticipated engagement party awaited. Finally, the Panther De Ville approached the venue. The car came to a halt, the engine purring softly as it stopped.

Once the Panther De Ville gracefully rolled to a stop, the car door was courteously opened by one of the venue staff. Anthony, the dashing Captain of the Disney Guard, emerged first, extending a hand to assist his radiant fiancé, Silver, out of the car. With elegance and poise, hand in hand, they made their way towards the entrance of the American Adventure Rotunda.

Each step they took was accompanied by a whisper of excitement from the gathered guests who had been eagerly awaiting the arrival of the engaged couple. The surrounding ambiance of the autumn-themed wonderland added a touch of magic to the moment.

As they approached the entrance, the Duke and Duchess, beaming with pride, caught sight of Silver and Anthony. With warmth in their eyes, the hosts welcomed the couple, expressing their joy at their arrival.

"Welcome, Silver and Anthony," the Duchess greeted them, her voice filled with genuine happiness. "We are thrilled to have you both here. You look absolutely stunning together."

"Thank you so much for joining us on this special occasion," the Duke added, smiling warmly at the couple. "Your presence makes this evening even more magical."

Silver and Anthony exchanged grateful smiles with their hosts, gratitude for the efforts put into the enchanting celebration for their engagement.

"Thank you for hosting such a marvelous event," Silver said with genuine appreciation. "This setting is beyond our wildest dreams."

"We couldn't have imagined a more enchanting celebration," Anthony chimed in, expressing his heartfelt gratitude. "It's an honor to share this moment with all our loved ones here."

With grace and love surrounding them, the engaged couple proceeded further into the venue, the anticipation and joy of the celebration unfolding around them. The whispers of excitement and admiration followed them as they made their way through the enchanted autumn wonderland, beginning a night that would be etched into their hearts and memories forever.

As Silver and Anthony settled at their designated sweetheart table, surrounded by the enchanting decor and the delicious red velvet engagement cake, they couldn't help but feel the love and support that surrounded them on this magical evening. It was a night that would be etched into their memories as the beginning of their beautiful journey together.

The evening soon progressed, the engagement party continued to be a delightful celebration of a new chapter in Silver and Anthony's life. Guests were fully immersed in the enchanting autumn-themed decor, mingling, savoring the delicious food, and taking in the magical ambiance.

In one corner of the venue, a group of friends and family members gathered around a beautifully adorned table with a guest book, leaving their heartfelt well-wishes and signatures as a memento of the evening. The sweet sounds of the music playing from the DJ, as couples swayed gracefully on the dance floor, their feet moving to the smooth tunes. Guests enjoyed the delightful spread of autumnal-themed dishes and desserts they ate while some guests were engaging in light-hearted conversations.

Throughout the evening, guests approached the engaged couple, offering their congratulations and warm words of love and support.

"Silver, Anthony, you both look absolutely amazing tonight! Wishing you a lifetime of happiness and love!"

"What a fantastic party! Silver, your dress is stunning, and Anthony, you're looking sharp as always. Congrats, guys!"

"Silver, you've found your Prince Charming, and Anthony, you've won the heart of a true princess. Wishing you both an eternity of joy and love!"

"Anthony, Silver, the love and joy you both bring to each other's lives are truly inspiring. Congrats!"

"Congratulations, Silver and Anthony! What a gorgeous celebration. Wishing you endless joy and blessings in your future together."

Among the attendees were the couple that Silver can recognize, Rachel and Poe de Spell. The two made their way to offer their heartfelt congratulations. Rachel exudes sophistication in her formal features: a sleeveless cowl neckline, adjustable spaghetti straps, a form-hugging fit with a mermaid silhouette, and backside ruching that leads to her floor-length hem. Her hair, styled in an elegant wavy hair, was adorned with silver dust earrings featuring a layered cascading fringe design with post-back closures.

Poe de Spell, by her side, cut a striking figure in his distinguished formal wear. He opted for a classic black tuxedo with a crisp white dress shirt and a bow bow tie. The tailored suit emphasized his tall and sleek physique. He accessorized with silver cufflinks and a subtle pocket square. His charismatic demeanor and charming smile complemented Rachel's elegance.

Approaching the engaged couple, Rachel and Poe conveyed their heartfelt congratulations. Rachel, with her signature smile, expressed, "Hey there boys! Congrats on your engagement."

Silver and Anthony warmly welcomed Rachel and Poe, seeing another familiar faces amid the sea of guests.

"Rachel, Poe, it's wonderful to see you both here," Silver said with a genuine smile. "Thank you for being a part of our special evening."

Poe grinned as he spoke. "Oh absolutely, we wouldn't have missed it for the world!"

"How are you two doing?" Anthony asks.

Poe flashed a charming smile. "We're doing great, thank you. This party is quite the spectacle, and you both look absolutely amazing. Your outfits are stunning."

"Thank you," Anthony said, grinning. "Though Silver clearly outshines us all tonight. He's like the princess from a fairytale."

Silver playfully rolled his eyes. "Oh, stop it, Anthony. You're making me blush."

Rachel chimed in with a mischievous grin. "Well, you are the Radiant Boy-Princess, Silver. Looking just perfect for your fairytale engagement."

Silver chuckled. "You know me too well, Rachel. It's an enchanting evening, and I do want to look perfect for the engagement party, honestly!"

Poe nodded, "You're absolutely right. You two could have your own series with all the adventures and stories you share."

Rachel and Poe exchanged warm goodbyes with Silver and Anthony, wished them all the happiness in the world, the couple watched their friends leave with grateful smiles and waves. As the last well-wishers departed, Silver and Anthony found themselves alone in the midst of the enchanting celebration.

Silver and Anthony watched as the guests continued to enjoy the engagement party, surrounded by the love and well-wishes of their friends and family that they know of.

Their fingers intertwined as they gazed at the dance floor. Anthony couldn't help but speak first. "Can you believe this, Silver? Our own engagement party, and it's more magical than I ever imagined."

Silver's gaze was equally filled with love as he leaned in closer to Anthony. "I know, Anthony. It's like a dream come true. Everything, from the decor to the guests, is just perfect. And most importantly, you're here with me."

Anthony's voice was tender as he continued, "Silver, you're the true boy-princess of my heart. I can't wait to embark on this journey together, to create our own adventures and stories."

Silver couldn't help but smile, "I love you, Anthony. You are my Prince Charming, and this night is just the beginning of our happily ever after. To think that it all started with me crashing your family ball, and now, we're here, about to start this incredible journey together."

Anthony nodded. "Five years ago, we were just two guys from different worlds, and now we're the happiest couple in the magical kingdom."

Silver couldn't help but smile as he leaned his head on Anthony's forearm. "I couldn't have asked for a more wonderful partner, Anthony. You're my prince charming, and I'm so excited for the adventures we'll have together."

Anthony's head leaned on Silver as he replied, "And you, my love, are my fairytale boy-princess. I promise to always be by your side, to share in your dreams and to create new ones together."

The two shared a kiss on the lip before they continued gazing at the event.

The music gently began to fade, and the guests gracefully made their way from the dance floor to their seats to rest from the dancing while most headed to the buffet to grab more to eat.

Duke Edward stepped onto the dance floor and stood in the center, raising and tapping his glass with a spoon to get everyone's attention. His commanding yet warm presence captured the room, and the guests instinctively quieted down to hear what he was going to say.

"Ladies and gentlemen," Duke Edward began, his voice projecting with the authority of a seasoned leader. "We are gathered here tonight to celebrate the love and commitment between two extraordinary individuals. Silver and Anthony, our engagement couple, have found each other in a world where magic thrives, and their love is nothing short of magical. As tradition calls in my family, it is time for them to have their first dance of the engagement evening."

A round of applause and cheerful encouragement erupted from the guests, acknowledging the significance of the moment.

He gestured towards Silver and Anthony, taking the floor with grace and a fatherly pride. "Silver and Anthony, it's time for your first dance as an engaged couple. The floor is yours." Duke Edward, with utmost respect, stepped back, giving the couple the center stage they deserved. The DJ's selection was elegant, a romantic tune that resonated with the romantic atmosphere, setting the perfect mood for the first dance of the soon-to-be-married pair.

Silver extended his hand towards Anthony as he looked at him. "May I have this dance?"

Anthony's eyes sparkled as he placed his hand in his. "I couldn't say no to the radiant Boy-Princess, now couldn't I?"

When the engagement couple took center stage on the dance floor, they bowed and curtseyed before each other.

[Song: So Close - Jon McLaughlin]

You're in my arms

And all the world is calm

The music playing on for only two

Silver, with grace and poise, placed his hand delicately on Anthony's shoulder, and Anthony, the picture of elegance, held Silver firmly yet gently at the waist.

So close together

And when I'm with you

So close to feeling alive

After a few side steps, execute a slow waltz turn by stepping forward with their left foot and making a 3/4 turn to the right.

A life goes by

With each step, they moved gracefully across the floor, their bodies perfectly synchronized.

Romantic dreams must die

So I bid my goodbye

And never knew

Silver's gown flowed like a midnight river as they twirled and swayed, and Anthony's classic tuxedo made him look every bit the dashing prince.

So close, was waiting

Waiting here with you

And now, forever, I know

In one fluid motion, he spun Silver around twice, and Silver's soft laughter filled his heart as they danced. Silver's body faced away from Anthony.

All that I wanted

To hold you so close

With a skillful hand on Silver's waist and the other gently grasping Silver's hand, they began to twirl around the dance floor in perfect harmony.

So close to reaching

That famous happy end

The couple, now moving in harmony, began to twirl around the dance floor. They danced with an ethereal elegance, their steps harmonizing with the romantic melody playing in the background.

Almost believing

This one's not pretend

And now you're beside me

And look how far we've come

The moment Anthony gently spun Silver away and released his hand, a brief pause followed. As Silver gradually halted his spinning, their hands found their way back to each other, locking fingers with an embrace that felt like a perfect fit.

So far we are, so close

Silver, with a sense of comfort and contentment, laid his head on Anthony's chest, feeling the soothing rhythm of his heartbeat, while Anthony tenderly placed his head atop Silver's, enveloping him in a protective embrace. The romantic and serene of the couple dancing together, and feeling each other's heartbeat, everything around them felt charged with love, as if time had slowed down to highlight this tender moment.

Anthony did something that wasn't in the steps, he lifted Silver off the ground and spun him once, his gown flowing through air. Silver was caught off guard but he somewhat enjoyed the feeling of being lifted in the air, letting himself smile at the action before being let down as they turned.

Everyone watching gasped at Anthony's sudden action, some beginning to applaud. Then, Anthony lifted Silver again but this time held him above longer as he twirled Silver through the air. Silver's eyes began to scan throughout the rotunda.

Their friends and families look on with a smile, Dorado with a sideways smile, Paula and Duchess Vivian talking to each other smiling, and their dads looking happy at their boys.

Oh how could I face the faceless days

If I should lose you now

Anthony set Silver down gently, their eyes locked in a tender, affectionate gaze. In this moment, the world around them melted away, leaving only the two of them in their own enchanted bubble. Their lips were just inches apart, and they could feel each other's breath, a silent, shared connection that spoke volumes without a word being said.

We're so close to reaching

That famous happy end

Anthony and Silver began a graceful, synchronized dance, encircling the edges of the dance floor in a seamless counterclockwise motion.

Almost believing

Towards the end of the dance, Silver and Anthony execute a romantic dip as they dance they way back to the center once more.

This one's not pretend

Let's go on dreaming

For we know we are

As the music swells, Anthony gently guides Silver into a lower position. Silver leans back, arching his back while maintaining a graceful posture.

So close, so close

Anthony supports his weight and holds him securely in the dip position. Their eyes gently met as they closed and leaned in between them. Their lips brushed in the softest, most tender of kisses. It was a moment that felt suspended in time, a culmination of their love and a promise of the shared future they envisioned.

And still so far

After a brief pause, they pulled away from the tender kiss and slowly rose back up, completing the dip. The room erupted with applause and cheer as the couple bowed to one another again. They were slightly out of breath yet they couldn't help but smile at each other.

But yet Anthony turned Silver around and faced a figure who suddenly entered the dance floor unexpectedly.

Staghart.

Silver was so startled that he almost didn't hear the deer gargoyle start to speak. "I apologize if I scared you but I just had to ask… May I… dance with you, please?" Staghart asked in the sincerest way anyone has ever heard him speak. Silver was surprised.

Standing there in the distance behind Staghart was Lexington, who gave him a smile and nodded, giving him permission to dance with Staghart.

Silver smiled before looking back at him again, "Of course" he told him; and taking the hand that he offered before Anthony stepped out to the dance floor to allow them to dance.

[Song: I Will Remember You - Sarah McLachlan]

I will remember you

Will you remember me?

Don't let your life pass you by

Weep not for the memories

Staghart's hand gently found its place on Silver's waist, and Silver rested his hand on Staghart's shoulder, allowing the past memories to slowly surface.

Remember the good times that we had?

I let them slip away from us when things got bad

How clearly I first saw you smilin' in the sun

Wanna feel your warmth upon me

I wanna be the one

They moved in harmony, each step carrying the weight of the memories they had created together. But the dance was tender, reminiscent of their shared history. There was no need for extravagant movements or complex steps; their dance was more about the gentle sway, the familiar connection that emerged from the muscle memory of once-shared moments.

I will remember you

Will you remember me?

Don't let your life pass you by

Weep not for the memories

There was an unspoken conversation between their eyes, memories and unspoken words flowing silently. Each step carried the stories of their past, of shared laughter, whispered conversations, and the silent communication that love often brings.

I'm so tired, but I can't sleep

Standin' on the edge of something much too deep

The dance was a bridge between the past and the present, reminding them of the gentle magic they once held together, cherishing the memories they created. The first time they shared a dance together was at Adam and Melanie's wedding. It was the first time when they shared a romantic dance on the dance floor and how their love blossomed from the start.

It's funny how we feel so much, but we cannot say a word

We are screaming inside, oh, we can't be heard

The last time they shared a dance before they departed was the Princess's Annual Event at Rapunzel's Lanterns Ball. It was a beautiful closure for them, an unspoken 'thank you' for what they had, and a silent wish for each other's happiness and future.

That I will remember you (Do bee dahm, dahm, dahm)

Will you remember me? (Do bee dahm, dahm, dahm)

Don't let your life pass you by (Do bee dahm, dahm, dahm)

Weep not for the memories

As Silver and Staghart gracefully moved across the dance floor, Anthony and Lexington stood at the side of the dance floor, silently watching. Lexington leaned over to Anthony, whispering, "Hey uh, Anthony, I'm sorry if Staghart's request makes you uncomfortable. He just wanted to say goodbye in his own way, as well… you know, Silver was his first love."

Anthony smiled gently at Lexington and replied just as quietly, "Lex, there's no need to apologize. I understand. Staghart has reached out to me, too, and we talked about this. He wants to move forward and wishes nothing but happiness for Silver and me." His eyes went back at them. "This dance is a closure for both of them, a chance to say goodbye to their past and embrace their present. It's a beautiful moment."

(Do bee dahm, dahm, dahm, dahm, dahm)

Lexington nodded, his eyes on Silver as he danced with Staghart. "I'm glad you're so understanding about this. It's important to all of us that they can have this closure."

(Do bee dahm, dahm, dahm, dahm, dahm)

Anthony smiles at him. "Me too, they deserve this closure."

(Do bee dahm, dahm, dahm, dahm, dahm)

So afraid to love you

But more afraid to lose

Clinging to a past that doesn't let me choose

Silver and Staghart found comfort in each other's embrace while swaying gently to the rhythm. Silver rested his head upon Staghart's chest, feeling the familiar warmth and the rhythmic beats of his heart, while Staghart's head gently leaned down, resting upon Silver's, creating a serene, intimate connection.

Where once there was a darkness

A deep and endless night

You gave me everything you had, oh, you gave me life

Tears glistened in the corners of Silver's eyes, and Staghart, feeling the warmth of Silver's tears on his chests, tears up as well.

And I will remember you (Do bee dahm, dahm, dahm)

Will you remember me? (Do bee dahm, dahm, dahm)

Don't let your life pass you by (Do bee dahm, dahm, dahm)

The fact that this might be the last time they will ever share a dance together before Silver became a married man.

Weep not for the memories

Staghart gracefully spun Silver around and around, with every spin, their memories of their past relationships together twirled around them, and as the dance concluded, Silver found himself face to face with Anthony, a warm smile gracing his lips.

Staghart bowed to Silver and pressed a final, gentle kiss on his right knuckle, silently expressing his best wishes. He then handed Silver over to Anthony, signifying the transition from their past to their future. Staghart left the dance floor, giving the couple an intimate moment together.

And I will remember you (Do bee dahm, dahm, dahm)

Will you remember me? (Do bee dahm, dahm, dahm)

Don't let your life pass you by (Do bee dahm, dahm, dahm)

Silver came face to face with Anthony, he smiled through the tears that filled his eyes, knowing that this dance marked a bittersweet farewell to a significant chapter of his life. Silver's tears fell from his eyes, Anthony, understanding the depth of this moment, offered his support and comfort as he held him close as they swayed to the music with their heads resting on each other.

Weep not for the memories

The dance with Staghart was a beautiful closure, a chance for Silver to say goodbye to a love that once was.

Weep not for the memories

Now, in Anthony's arms, Silver had a bright future awaiting him.

Duke Edward raised his glass of champagne, and the guests turned their attention to the center of the dance floor. With a warm smile, he began his speech, his voice carrying across the room.

"Ladies and gentlemen, honored guests, family and friends, we gather here today to celebrate a joyous occasion, the engagement of our beloved Anthony and Silver. It's a time of unity, love, and the promise of a bright future."

Duchess Vivian, standing beside her husband, continued, "As parents, we've watched Anthony grow into a remarkable young man from when he was a young boy, and we couldn't be prouder of the choices he's made. From the moment he met Silver, we could see the spark of love in their eyes."

Edward nodded and added, "Indeed, it's not just a union of two souls, but a joining of two families, and that's something truly special. In Silver, we see a person of strength, kindness, and love, and we couldn't have asked for a better match for our son."

Vivian then said, "May this engagement be the start of a wonderful journey for Anthony and Silver, filled with love, understanding, and endless happiness. We wish them all the love in the world."

The guests raised their glasses, echoing their sentiments, and the room filled with applause and the sound of clinking glasses.

Edward concluded, "To Anthony and Silver, may your love continue to grow stronger with each passing day, and may your days be filled with laughter, adventure, and endless joy. Cheers!"

As the room resounded with cheers and well wishes, Anthony and Silver clinked their glasses together, grateful for the love and support that surrounded them on this special day.

Silver and Anthony, now finished drinking their champagne, rose from their seats at the sweetheart table, their hands entwined, and made their way toward the stunning engagement cake as it's now time to cut the cake.

With a smile that spoke volumes, they both reached for the golden cake cutting knife. As they held it together, their eyes met, exchanging a silence, they leaned in as they shared a tender kiss.

The guests around them erupted into gentle applause and cheerful cheers. With laughter and smiles, Anthony and Silver ceremoniously cut into the beautifully decorated cake, symbolizing the unity of their lives, as they moved ahead, hand in hand, into a shared future.

Lexington smiled at the engagement couple, sending his warm wishes to Anthony and Silver. His gaze then shifted toward Staghart, who was seated at the table with him along with the London Clans.

"Staghart, I hope you're doing okay. That dance was... emotional. But I'm glad you did it. It was a beautiful closure for both you and Silver."

Staghart glanced at Lexington, "It was important for me to do it, for both of us. I want to have one last moment with him, to wish him well in this new chapter of his life… that's all that matters now."

Lexington nodded in understanding. "It takes strength to do what you did. I'm proud of you."

Staghart smiled faintly, acknowledging Lexington's words. "Thank you, Lexington. It means a lot." He glanced back at Silver and Anthony, who were still sharing a sweet moment with the cake as they shared a slice of cake with a fork on each other's mouth. "I just want him to be happy. Seeing him so joyful with Anthony fills me with contentment. I'll always cherish what we had. They have a bright future ahead, and I'm genuinely happy for Silver. I wish him all the happiness in the world."

Lexington patted Staghart's shoulder in a supportive gesture. "You're a good friend, Staghart, and your support means a lot to him, even if it's in a different way now."

Staghart turned his attention back to Lexington before he kissed him on the lip, "Thank you, Lexington. I genuinely wish the best for both of them."

As the celebration continued on, Staghart sat in quiet contemplation, silently wishing Silver and Anthony a beautiful life together and the hope for a brighter future ahead.

I honestly have to say that writing an engagement party scene is a challenge for me as it's an event I've never attended or experienced firsthand. From what I know, engagement parties are often/sometime a low and small affair with around 50 or 100 people, depending on where you are hosting an engagement party and how many people you are planning to invite. I did some research online, but mostly encountered generic advice and Do and Don't. I even turned to TikTok for more insight. Eventually, I shaped the event with the understanding that an engagement party is a more intimate, scaled-down version of a wedding, basically a mini-wedding, omitting the grandeur associated with the actual wedding. Despite the lack of personal experience, I try my hardest to paint a picture of an engagement celebration based on the elements I discovered.

The dance sequences and the closure that unfolded between Silver and Staghart were genuinely moving. Originally, I wasn't planning on adding this scene but that idea suddenly popped into my head during the writing process, and I felt it was a perfect emotional closure for Silver and Staghart as this will be the last time they will dance together before Silver is married. It was a beautiful way to encapsulate their history and provide a heartfelt farewell to their past relationship, and it was also another challenge for me to find the right song for them to dance.
