"House Potter does have the Noble House 5 Room with Super Main package. As such there is the Physical Super Main, holding all the parchment work for the house. Contracts, betrothals, bonding's, tax bills, every purchased property, etc. that has impacted the family since the founding of this branch of House Potter."
"Including the wills." Harry says frustrated.
'Including the wills. It was locked by the ministry until a Regent could unlock it. Most of the Family vaults are the same. The Hundred vaults were not locked down as their usage was required. The Steward of house Potter has managed that much. I, and the other account managers assigned to the vaults, have kept the investments stable and earning as much as possible. The investment vault is quite low on funds.
"How does that work?" Harry asks, at the goblins look he clarifies the question. "How is the Investment vault nearly empty if the vault has seen return on investment."
"House Potter, House Black, and 3 other houses, provide the capital for 85% of the small or short-term loans of the Wizarding World. House Potter also provides the capital for a further 15% of the long-term loans. Interest earned on such loans is placed in the earnings vault, which is included in the lock down. The investment capital set by your grandfather in 1980 was at 5% due to the economic slump caused by the war. While this caused a rather large build up in the investment vault, during the war, it was a rather paltry amount in the post war recovery years. And is exceedingly so in the current economic boom that the Wizarding World is experiencing."
"Beyond the singular main set aside to handle the various economic dealings of House Potter, or the other five main vaults we come to the main financial vault for the house. The Main Vault handles the personal Vaults of the House. Your Grandfather, Fleamont Potter met with me yearly to ascertain the health of the vaults, and once every five years for an in-depth look at the state of the financial vaults. At such time in accordance with the charter he would set the budget of the Houses full finances, of which though a small part of it, the individual vaults of the members of house Potter were included. Despite rumors to the contrary House Potter remains one the richest active houses in Magical Britian. In 1980 shortly after the betrothal between James, Lily, and Sirius, was signed Fleamont set aside the vaults for any children of the union."
"A single Cadet Vault was to be assigned to the child once Gringotts received proof of birth. Alongside the Cadet Vault 6 Base vaults were to be linked to the vault. The first was your schooling and education vault. Now Hogwarts costs G3,500 for your 1st and 2nd year, G4,000 for your 3rd, 4th and 5th years, and G4,500 for your 6th and 7th years. As such your grandfather set the education vault to have G2,500 deposited each year from birth. As such after your 11th birthday, when you accepted your place at Hogwarts, your education vault had G30,000 enough to cover all 7 years at Hogwarts."
"Why so much?" Harry asks.
"Fleamont had lost his trust in Dumbledore, and wanted to ensure that of you chose a path other than Hogwarts, the cost would be covered by the education vault. This was also why he set the vault payments to come out yearly rather than pay the single amount for all seven years at your birth. As such tuition from your 3rd year has just been withdrawn and your education vault has a balance of G24,000."
"Your 2nd vault, is your trust vault, used for anything you so desire, and it had an initial deposit of G2,500, and a monthly deposit of G250 until you are 11, and G500, until you are 13, after which you get G1,000 until your 17th. After which your trust vault becomes your personal vault and the rules regarding it change. The G1,000 for your 13th birthday has gone through, as such you have G37,042."
Harry scrunches up his nose for a moment. "Can I have a sheet of parchment?"
"What for?" Grimshaw asks.
"The number seems off; I only took out G100 on my first visit to Gringotts. I haven't been back, but Molly Weasley had my key last."
Grimshaw seems to take a deep breath before opening one of the large tomes next to him. Finding something he pulls a much smaller ledger looking book, opens it seems to find what he was looking for on the 2nd page and hands it to Harry. "The ledgers do show that you took out G100 in August of 1981. Professor McGonagall billed G158 to the account for a rush order Nimbus 2000. Molly Weasley did pull G120 last year, with your key. Which considering the exorbitant price of last year's book list is in line. In the future to prevent such discrepancies do not let anyone else handle your key. As to the remaining G80, it was pulled by the minister to pay for your stay at the Leaky Cauldron, for the remainder of the summer."
Harry scowls. "McGonagall never informed me that the cost of the broom came out of my vault, I thought it was a gift. As for this summer, I've been paying Tom, with what I had left over from previous years."
"Do you have a receipt of such?" Grimshaw inquires.
"Actually, I do, paid right before we came." Harry answers, pulling out the receipt Tom had given him after he had paid this morning and handing it to Grimshaw.
"Gringotts will reimburse you for that fraudulent charge and pursue said cost from the Minister." As Grimshaw spoke, he did something with the book in his hand, and Harry noticed the ledger in his hand change. The line that said -80 was outlined in red, a plus 80 appeared beneath it with the memo, reimbursement of funds, fraudulent charge, and below that beneath the total line the previous. 37042 became 37122.
Harry looked up as Grimshaw spoke again. "As you can see I handed you the ledger for your trust vault. This", he pointed to the large book he had fingered through earlier, "is the Master Ledger for the entirety of the Potter Vaults. You will get the Potter Copy of the Master Ledger when you take up the Lordship ring." He pulled out an additional three ledgers and handed them to Harry. "The top one is for your education vault. The second one is for your investment vault. As you are 13, you now gain access to the vault. Upon your birth your grandfather placed G250,000. Each year an additional G50,000 was added per the instructions left. This money is for you to invest as you see fit. The magical or mundane stock market, loans, small business deals, etc. The decision of how it is spent is yours. There are two caveats to this however, in lieu of a regent, you will meet with me via mirror call, or messenger book periodically. At such a time I will check the account and you will answer for any unsound business decisions. Hence the next ledger, the incentive vault. In accordance with the rules and guidelines set aside by both your father and grandfather, the vault is to act as a reward system for behavior. For example, good marks on end of year exams can earn you a monetary prize from this vault. Sound business decisions can net you additional funds, added to your trust fund as well."
"In accordance with the guidelines set, if you gain half of it, by your 17th birthday the remainder will be placed into your account. The fund started with G100,000, and had an additional deposit of G50,00 on your 13th birthday, and will have an additional G150,000 on your 15th birthday." Grimshaw, made a few motions on the giant book in his hand and all three of Harry's ledger vibrated. "For sitting through everything today you have gained, G10,000 to your investment account," Grimshaw says, and glancing at the Investment ledger Harry can see the +10,000 on the ledger. "For top marks two years running in DADA, you gain G150 for each year. I will take the time to state that as you are going into your elective year, the prices based on elective choices are based on the class, and not in as many general terms as your main classes are."
"What exactly do you mean by that?" Harry asks, quickly.
"Awards for the Divination elective even if you got a O with distinction on your OWLS is worth only G50, while a term grade of an A in bot Arithmancy and Ancient Runes is worth G50." Harry makes an Oh, with his mouth before nodding at Grimshaw to continue.
"You have received a few other prizes, but I will let you look over the ledger yourself to find them. The second caveat of the investment vault is that 10% must remain in the vault. A limiter if you will." Grimshaw says before handing Harry one last ledger. "Finally, the 5th Base vault, the care vault. This vault was set up specifically in the case of your parent's death before your age of majority. It will take care of your major needs if the Main Potter vaults cannot be accessed. G15,000 is deposited every month that passes that the main Potter Vaults are in lockdown. There is currently over G2 million in that vault."
"What do I do you with that much money?" Harry asks.
"The same thing that you do with the 6th and last vault, but we will cover that last. Now that we have answered your questions regarding the House Vaults, We will return to your question of what you can do for your father."
Harry blushed before nodding. "Without a regent, or a magical guardian, you can't file for emancipation. As such you cannot access any of the vaults in lock down, for the proof required. Unless you are subject to an act of magic there is nothing you can do, at least nothing that I would recommend."
"Nothing you would recommend."
"Irrefutable proof, such as the wills would be hard to come by, but Peter Pettigrew who your father is accused of murdering would be such. Not that I would recommend tracking him down, he is a grown wizard, and you are a boy of thirteen, whatever else you may be."
"Alright, that is fair." Harry said petulantly groaning out the last word. "You said without an act of Magic, what's an act of magic in this case."
"There are dozens of acts of magic that could happen. However, they are Olde Magic and not always things that should be sought after, they usually go hand in hand with deathly consequences."
"I'm no stranger to those." Harry retorts.
"I've no doubt, House Potter has had the bloodline curse of may you live in interesting times for a while. However, there is one you can trigger that, doesn't always necessitate a life and death situation."
"What is it?" harry asks.
"The right of Inheritance." Grimshaw holds up a hand to hold off any questions Harry might have.
"I mentioned it earlier when I said Lord Arcturus Black asked for linage test, during the betrothal discussions. The Linage test depending on the number of drops of blood you add traces your magical lineage. 1 drop for every generation. A single drop is called the Identity test, as it identifies the person, their parents, and immediate siblings, by birth and blood adoption. It merely traces the linage; in this way it can also be used to prove inheritance. However, at a certain point, it starts to require more blood per generation, and it in no way identifies the heir for certain. So, another way was formed, two of them. The Inheritance test, and the Blood Inheritance test. After a witch or Wizard has turned 15 the core is settled enough that they can safely begin to access the full scope of their family magics externally. As such neither test can be done before one turns 15."
"The Inheritance Test checks the bloodline, blood, and magically within fifteen generations of the witch or Wizard. It does identify in that many generations, all lordships and other titles one can claim. However, in this we also fall back into the same issue as before. All mid and low-class Nobility are answerable to the Ministries age of Inheritance law, and the likelihood of an older family being in fifteen gernerations is low. It may be helpful after you turn seventeen, but as a means for early access to your family vaults it's a far stretch."
"Ok, beyond them being mentioned we haven't really spoken of the high Nobles." Harry probed.
"As well few would have. There are 6 ranks of High nobility. With the exception of the lowest ranks of them, they all remember a time not ruled by House Pendragon as such these families relationship with House Pendragon is very different than that of the houses of lower Rank. Firstly, we have the remaining 2 Utmost Antediluvian Houses. House Gwyn and House DeBois. Both Houses would eventually come to serve House Pendragon, but the History was tenacious at best. The most tenuous of the issues between them being the realms they both controlled. The Sidren Realms, home of the Ancient Sidren City, was one of the most extensive Magical cities, in all of Magical Europe. Dating back nearly ten millennia, it has a rich history. At the time it was about 7 millennia old and was one of the focal points of point of the time. Without control over it House Pendragon could not claim final regency over Gaul, both houses refused to relinquish their claim. Eventually a treaty was signed between the 3 houses leaving the 3 as a council of sort over the city. It is one of the few territories that are part of the Empire, but House Pendragon does not have sole right of Rule. With them jointly ruling Sidren, they have no hundreds and are excused from dominion over them, as Sidren is as a Planetary Realm so Vast."
"The Utmost Antiquated Houses number 8 in all. House Solaris, House Lunaris, House Ignis, House Aquarius, House Terran, House Aeris, House Dubhe, and House Ordo. Responsible for the 8 elemental Realms, they are difficult to trifle with. Powerful lords in their own right they did not bend to the olde Pendragon Kings easily. They did eventually fall to house Pendragon, however, and age alone like the previous two gave them such a high rank. Despite these 10 houses' age and power, they were respected for their levies, their lands, and the magic they had wielded in the past. Politically they did not have the presence of several of the younger house let alone the five."
"With that we reach the 3rd highest rank in all the realm Utmost Archaic. Of which there are 24, most all of them were named to the title of Lord Paramount and governed and controlled large portions of the Empire in the name of House Pendragon. Like the previous two ranks. Unlike with the previous 2 ranks who have no currently named heirs or Lords, though their wards still stand so the blood still lives. Four of these houses still stand with functional Lords. Magical Russia ruled by the Romanov family, has a Regent, which means an heir despite the title officially standing empty. Presumably until the heir takes the title Tsar, as the family has a bit of a mixed reputation. House Zephrin rules about third of what is now known as M.A.C.U.S.A. in the muggle US. Like many of the High Nable families they have retreated to the realms, and left governance of their lands to the Ministries."
"Is that allowed." Harry asks.
"Technically no, however only a king could site them."
"Then we come to arguably the most influential houses of the Pendragon name. The Utmost Ancient Houses, many of which have passed into the annals of history. Generally speaking with the exception of the five, the houses of this rank were vassals of the previous rank. They gained much freedom under House Pendragon and used it well, building great wealth, power, and prestige under their new Kings. No Houses are more loyal to House Pendragon than they. As such in many minds they can be forgiven for their abandonment of many outside the realms. Many outside the realms consider House Pendragon to be gone, a legacy best left in a bygone era, a thought most predominantly belonging to the Houses of Mid Nobility. In absence of their sworn Houses, and a King, rather than force the issue causing much strife, and turmoil, due to political strife between factions, they retreated. Their inaction did not aid them however in the war with either of the recent Dark Lords. In 1910 the houses from this rank numbered over two hundred. They number less than a hundred now, with only a third of that lost to Grindelwald."
"More than 300 of these houses still exist somewhere, but they have no named head. An issue that only gives the ministries more power. We will skip the last subsection of this rank for the moment and come back to it. There are 75 remaining Utmost Elder Houses with named heads, all of them have retreated to the realms. The same with the 52 remaining Most Antediluvian Houses. Again, their loyalty to house Pendragon is too strong for them to bow to the whims of many of the mid nobility. Of these three ranks is one subsection that stands out from the rest of them. The Lost houses, now when saying that there is a difference between the lost, as in those whose power has grown dead through lack of an heir, and The Lost whose power wanes for a much different reason. The lost houses wither because the main is dead and the cadet branch with most claim is unknown. The Lost are lost by their own choice."
"Their own choice." Harry asks.
"Yes, their own choice. If we are to speak of the Lost, we must speak of the five, for they were the first of the Lost. The first, and the strongest of the five, the Utmost Ancient and Utmost Royal house of Pendragon, our Kings. In the formative years of the House the heirs of house Pendragon ruled a small kingdom, with no desire or thirst for conquest. By the time the family was named to House status, the spirit of conquerors had well been formed, and by the time they were old enough to be considered magical nobility without monarchal decree, Albion was already strong. 3 houses would grow alongside them, their closest vassals, and greatest allies. The first to join them, in the very first war of conquest, would be The Utmost Ancient and Bloodied House of DuLac. They would serve as the kings guard, his first and last sword. Next would come The Utmost Ancient and Bloodied House of Mercer. They would come to be known as the Kings Sword and Shield. House Mercer worked to ensure that no threat ever reached the Royal Family, House DuLac worked to ensure that if a threat did reach the Royals, no harm would come to them. None in all of Albion were more Loyal to the King. The next to rise to that most vaunted position was the Utmost Elder House of Chastain. As the Pendragon Stewards they became the right hands of the kings, as Mercer, and DuLac protected from physical attacks, House Chastain protected from political ones. Eventually in the reign of Arthur Pendragon the third, sixth king of united kingdoms of Avalon, they were appointed to the position of Kings Hand, where they have served ever since. For four generations it seemed that the innermost circle despite its glaring weakness had been solidified. Until Prince Arturus Pendragon the future 10th king of Avalon, won his war over conquest over what is known today as Greece."
"A young magical had been forced into the service of king of the area, his skill with a blade though admirable was not what caught the young princes attention, it was the blade itself. When asked the young man professed that he had made the sword himself, and art passed down in his family for several generations since they had been pressed into service by the kings of their homeland. Arturus, asked for what price would the young man forge him a blade, made in this style. The young man replied that if Arturus saw him returned to his homeland he would make not just the prince one, but a matching set of blades and daggers for the prince's companions as well."
"The prince agreed and travelled across the land to the land of the Persian Empire, where the young man would find that in his absence the king had grown more, and more demanding of his aging grandfather, and father. Until his grandfather had passed. In his fury at the elderly mans passing he had beat his father, causing the man to pass as well. With no use for the man's younger brothers, untrained as they were, the entire household, was imprisoned and set to be sold as slaves. Arturus merely turned to the man and asked for an explanation."
"5 generations ago, my family, though a house of magical means and standards were merely merchants of pottery. A piece of such Pottery was brought before the Kings chief wife, and soon after our served all the needs for such in the Royal Palace. From Bowls to Goblets to Jewelry, we crafted it all, whether it be from clay, or stone, or metal. War came however, and my great great grandfather was forced into the kings service making swords. Using the same spells and enchantment he used in the jewelry and Pottery he crafted, he found that they did not last as long on the basic metal swords of the common soldiers. As such he experimented until he discovered a way to attach the spells and enchantments to the metal. This caused his work to be noticed, and very shortly he was pressed into servitude not for the whole army but for the Lords and Generals of the Army. After the war was done the king offered that he come and work in the palace. The man explained that he already had been, working to supply all manner of things to the palace, the Kings very own goblet had been done by his father. So, the two struck a deal. The house would be well compensated for their work, and remain as retainers in the palace, they would make the swords of the kings, his guards and his chief generals. My Great great grandfather agreed, and we have stayed in harmony as retainers of the royal family since. Until the new prince rose to Kingship. He is a greedy man and did not want one blade made by my house but many. Too many, more than we could make. He grew angry and I was sold as a slave, which is how we met, my prince."
"Prince Arturus would show compassion for the young man and see his family free and escorted back to Avalon. The young man would then craft a sword that would mark a new age for house Pendragon. The man would marry Arturus's youngest sister, and his children would be raised alongside Arturus's. In five generations the young man's family was named as not only the weapon crafters of the royal family but High Generals of House Pendragon. And so, the Persian house of Mina'I would become what is known today as the Utmost Archaic and Graced House of Potter." Harry's eyes widened.
"You said Graced House, and earlier you said Bloodied." Harry said ignoring the Potter part for the moment.
"Outside of the Noble classification that Lady Evans discussed with you earlier. There are several other classifications, a house will usually declare which classification they wish to recognize foremost. Officially House Potter is the Utmost Archaic, Utmost Noble, Bloodied, Graced and Royal House of Potter. The linage title is always recognized, the noble title's follow, as they show not only the wealth of the house but how well they have been stewarding over the lands entrusted to them by the king. The battle titles follow precedence with adept being the first rank, practiced being the 2nd, the 3rd being Hardened, the 4th being Veteran, and the last one being Bloodied. It is a measure of the blood on their hands, and further the blood feuds that they have won."
"Lastly, we have the austere Crafted or Gifted titles. When it comes to titles of achievement these are the ones flaunted once gained. In a formal occasion when custom dictates the usage of the dual titles, like the battle titles overrule a Noble Title, the Crafted Titles overrule both a Battle and Noble Title. Unless meeting with another Royal Family outside of House Pendragon, the Royal title is not used out of respect for House Pendragon. Now the Crafted titles are Gifted, given to a house that has significantly developed a family gift to the point that it is inherent in every child of the line. Versed bestowed when a line creates magic using said gift specific to the line. Such as spells or enchantments that can only be cast by that family. Mastered when two such gifts have become inherit to the line. Revered, when three such gifts are inherited to the line, or to such gifts are present, and the line has added to considerably to the magical gift. Lastly is graced when an object or artifact is created by the house that is so in tune with the family gifts that it is not replicable by others."
Grimshaw rises and pulls down the blade that sat on the wall behind his desk, and carefully places the blade on the desk, before motioning Harry forward. "Now we discuss the item I have been dancing around." He pointedly looks at the blade. "The Blood Inheritance test traces one's magical linage back to the first magical of your line, it passes through h squibs, and everything so long as a joule of magic lies within the blood the test will find it. Through blood and magic, it will name every house you are apart of, and every inheritance you receive, whether it be physical, magical, or by blood. Whether that inheritance be monetary assets, physical assets. Realms, houses or Title's it finds everything. The price is that you must abide by everything it brings forward. Betrothal agreements, debt contracts, everything, the price of not doing so is your magic." He looks Harry directly in the eye.
"900 years ago, a tragedy occurred, and all five of the royal houses were struck down. House Pendragon was named extinct in the male line, and no heir was found. The protection of the House Pendragon was so in grained in the family magics of the houses that mixed with the calamities, and blood feuds that followed the remaining 4 houses of royal Pendragon blood were also struck down. The family magics rejected all heirs of the house and went into dormancy despite all heirs being of the main branch. All was not lost, a price merely had to be paid to recover what was lost. In the meantime, each heir was rendered without family magic, name, title, or wealth. Everything was taken from them, they became nothing more than a first-gen.
A cruel fate for children born not just in the lap of luxury but as all but royalty. Though Royal, Houses DuLac, Mercer, Chastain, were not as widely venerated as House Potter, and quietly faded from the public eye. What happened to them is lost to the annals of History. We know they still live as the Vaults show active heirs but their location is lost to us. We may never know until one successfully passes the tests of resurrection as set by the house's guardian. House Potter, however, was different, it had risen to the status of Graced and with that came their artifacts. Like house Cronus's Time sand, and House Peverell's Soul Prison's, the weapons of a Potter became important, and not just for their magical properties and strength but as status symbols as well. In the initial fall of the house no-one thought about the actual use the blades of house Potter served. It was a mistake, with the loss of their house magics, titles and positions, the four children of house Potter separated and fled the Royal Capital of Dragon Mont, in the Realm of Camelot. The younger 3 would find sanctuary from loyal vassals of the house, but the eldest would be rejected at every hand. Eventually Octavian Potter settled into a Lord's Keep as one of his Blacksmiths, trying his hardest to recreate a Potter Blade."
"For that was the task assigned by the guardian, a worthy heir must pass five tests to reclaim the House and its magic. The first test, the test of blood, they must be born of the bloodlines of Cadmus Potter's 4 children by birth, not through blood adoption, but by birth. The second, the test of Power, they must successfully prove they have the magical power to lead the house by summoning the Potter Guardian. The third test is the crafting of a Weapon. Sword, Mace, Knife, it does not matter a weapon must be crafted with the powers, and strength of House Potters blade."
"That doesn't sound too difficult, I mean how hard could it be?" Harry asks. Grimshaw grins a toothy thing that unnerves Harry, as he stood to get a better look at the sword.
"How hard indeed, do you remember little heir what I said about the Graced Houses?"
"Artifacts impossible to create for those outside the family." Harry answered.
"Exactly, Octavian like his siblings had been stripped of the family magic that allowed them to craft the blades, the bloodline gifts that enabled House Potter to craft such blades had been stripped from them. Octavian soon came to realize that to reclaim what they had lost they would have to start again, collecting the various gifts and abilities required to forge a Potter blade." Harry blinked, looking down at the blade.
"Is this?"
"It is, few know that your house even holds one, or that it has been entrusted to the Account Manager of House Potter. A master class blade such as this would go for several thousand Dragons."
"Dragons?" harry aks pausing.
"Dragons, 1079 Galleons go into a Dragon." He grinned toothily again at Harry look of incredulousness. "Over time it became apparent the mistake that the Wizarding World had made, as the supply of Potter Blade's began to run low. Their uses are numerous, for magus level battle mages they can act as strong foci doubling or tripling the effect of spells cast by them. Not just their weapons, however. Your godmother Alice Longbottom and her husband Frank are in St. Mungo's they where attacked by Death Eater's" at Harry look he clarified. "the name of the follows of the Dark Lord, at the end of the war. The Cruciatus curse was used enough that it supposedly drove them mad. However a regular prescription of the Nerve repair portion has been showing improvement. It had been theorized that the potion created in a Potter Cauldron, and given using a Potter healing goblet would possibly heal them completely, or to the point that the healer's of St. Mungo's could more accurately aid them, alas the cauldrons were among the first Potter crafted items to be found to be in short supply. The healing goblets being the second. They could act as excellent purifiers. Only needing to be cleansed by a Potter,"
Harry couldn't help but touch the edge of the blade, just to see how sharp it was. He nearly screamed in pain. He looked down and there developing before his eyes, where he had touched the blade, a third-degree burn was forming. Grimshaw nodded, grabbing the two potion vails and the clothe bandages that had been sitting to the side of the desk. "Drink this vail," he ordered handing one of them two Harry before soaking the second one in one of the bandages and wrapping it around the burn. "A side effect of the stripping of the family magic, skin contact with a Potter blade, will harm you. A strong enough Blade, for a long enough time, and it will kill you."
"Let that sit for five minutes and your hand should be good. As I was saying, The Goblets can only be cleansed effectively by a Potter, as your entire house and bloodline can't touch anything crafted using the Potter family magics, such has become impossible."
Harry nodded, "So Battle Magics, and Healing, they do anything else?"
The goblin settled a look at Harry. "Many things, many, many things young heir. Most importantly in present times is to seal."
"To seal." Harry asks.
"Not every magical creature out there is kind, nor is everyone of them friendly. Spells, Wards, and such may be able to hamper XXXXX level creatures but those that rank higher than that. Many of them are to sentient to be controlled by such things, as such the easiest way to deal with such creatures is to seal them away. A hundred an fifty years ago, a dread wolf was found in the Forbidden Forest at Hogwarts. A dread wolf, is neither wolf nor man but both. With the mind of a man, and the killing speed of a dire wolf, it killed 18 wizards before your great granduncle could seal it in a blade. He lost his non-dominate hand in the attempt, and the blade lies in one of the Potter Vaults. Japan's last 3 Nogitsune have all been sealed in Potter Blades. The Veridian Realm tapped the last 2 void beasts that attacked the Nevermore Realm in Potter Blades. The Master class Blades of House Potter are incredibly strong but even they have limits to the amount of power they can contain. The Veridian Realm was reminded of that the hard way, when they attempted to seal a third void beast into the same blade as the previous two. The blade shattered releasing the other two void beasts. The entire Realm had to be evacuated and is now listed as a lost realm, The gates are closed though not destroyed."
"So, recovering the art is important." Harry says.
"Incredibly so. Even Gringotts has a stake in it, though to the outside world, we are ambivalent to the matter."
"How," Harry asks confused.
"After Octavian, had had children and great grandchildren of his own, he went in search of his younger siblings, to inform them of what he had learned. Even with an Identity Test to prove himself the 3 refused to recognize him as a son of Cadmus Potter. As such to the rest of the world the line of the first son is dead, and only three Potter houses remain. Though it is said the secondary branches main heir is closer than anyone has ever been. Marcus Potter's blades do not sing with magic the way Potter blades do, nor do they sing the way your father's blades did."
"My father's blade?" Harry asks.
"You asked me what to do with all the money in your fifth vault, and I told you the same as with your sixth vault, it's time to discuss the sixth vault." Grimshaw says handing him the final ledger that had been sitting on his desk. House Potter has regained the title of Master through regaining gifts and abilities, as well as crafting a few items. This is how, every Potter since they have started regaining their wealth has worked to recover the lost magics, even your father, each attempt is noted in a subsection of the Potter Grimoire. As such each child of house Potter is given a vault with monetary funds to use specifically in the search. It is traditional that the first attempt be made by your branch on or before your fifteenth birthday. Traditionally on your 13th birthday your father would have taken you to the forge and introduced you to the first steps of creating a weapon. In his absence the Goblin nation will teach you instead."
Harry nodded. "When do we begin?" Harry asks.
"We will start on Thursday, the Evans are in the alley until then and I believe that you would like to get to know young Marcus, though I ask that you not inform him of your relationship yet."
"When will the twins be told.
"The summer after the turn 13, and they have their own trip to the Goblin forges."
Harry nods before squaring his shoulders. "as the Potter account manager you have served many Potters."
"I have served several in my long life, I suspect that if house Potter relocated to one of the realms cities I would serve far fewer, as they would actually meet the full potential age of their magic. Your father had he not been cut down so, could have easily seen his second century."
Harry wasn't sure why he said it the way he did but he let his magic guide him. "As an heir untaught I ask for aid, in becoming all that is required of me by my blood and by my magic."
The goblin studied Harry, as he had many times throughout the hours, he had been explaining things. This time though he nodded before picking up the parchment he had written on at the beginning, he wrote for a while before he pulled out another parchment from his desk. "You seem willing to take my advice so I will give it as asked. This," he handed Harry the parchment he had written on, "is a list of tomes I suggest you read. Now as to aiding you in becoming all that your magic and blood asks of you, is a far harder proposition. Are you serious about such a wish."
As Harry nods Grimshaw continues. "Then our first step would be finding you a set of masters." He points to the paper he had pulled from the desk. "9 drops." He commands. "Did Lord or Lady Evans discuss Mastery searches?"
"I don't believe so." Harry answered as he bled onto the parchment using the same dagger as before.
"For Nobles, a mastery search is to learn magic rather than skills. You will attain both, however it is the knowledge that is important in this case. It is a way to fully learn how to use and master the various gifts that one has from the family and house magic." Harry nods looking down at the parchment in his hands.

"Ok I don't understand how this helps." Harry says handing the parchment to Grimshaw. "Aren't sigils like the symbols of the houses?"
"You mean the coat of arms, and those are sigils in the mundane world, they are distinctly called emblems in the magical world. Sigils are a branch of magic that is a cross between runes, and spell weaving."
"Now onto using the test, as you are 13 the test is not finalized, as you begin to activate these gifts and magics, others may waken in you. As you are also 13 this test only so the gift in general terms. As such it says Shadow Magics from the Black Family, but it does not specify what types of Shadow Magic. Same with Rituals, Physical, Mental, Magical, Esoteric Rituals. The test at this age cannot determine, and the test that can, you cannot take as you are 13 and your core could rupture from trying to force the family magics in such a way."
"But the test can provide a basis for an initial master search. Would you be amendable to be apprenticed to more than one?
"I guess." Harry replies.
"And Long-term or short-term?"
"What's the difference."
"Long term means they will be your master until you take the Mastery exam, or you separate with irrevocable differences, and they break the contract. You may have to finish Hogwarts through your fifth year, but they have every right to pull you out after and place you in alternative studies. Short-term are for 2-3 months and are not guaranteed for additional contracts."
"Which one will aid me the most and get me away from my relative's?" Harry asks.
"The Long-term with multiple masters, though drawing up the contract will be time consuming. Dumbledore could interfere after next summer for the Short-Term as they are session only contract and are not guaranteed for the next Summer. The long-term contracts can act as a buffer between you and the headmaster, and or the faculty if required. Are you prepared for that."
Harry hesitantly answers yes.
"Very well then onto the last few items before you depart." There is a sudden knocking on the door and another Goblin enters carrying a bag, two mall boxes, and a larger one. Grimshaw nods at the goblin who sets the items on the desk before exiting again. Grishaw comes around the desk and opens the two smaller boxes, "Your heirship rings, placing them on your finger confirms you as the heir of your lines. Start with the Potter ring on the left."
Harry reaches for the Potter ring, picking it up and looking at it a moment before placing it on the ring finger of his left hand. The Black Ring follows a few moments after, before Harry collapses, as the pain in his scar goes supernova. A black sludge comes out of his scar for a moment before a scream is heard. As he goes to stand up, he glances for a moment at his rings and sees the Potter ring flicker from something else back to what it had looked like before he put it on. "What just happened?"
"It seems the Black family ring took offence to some curse residue in your scar." Grimshaw answers, handing Harry a towel with which to clean his face.
"I'm not sure it was the Black Ring the Potter one shifted for a moment into something else."
Grimshaw straightened. Two rearing chimeras rather than two griffins?" he asks, at Harry's nod he continues. "The Potter Ring asserted itself for a moment then, how strange, the residue must have been something particular nasty to get a rise out of the rings even in dormancy." The goblin seems to shake himself before Handing Harry the larger box. "In this box is all that we are legally allowed to remove from the house Vaults while they are in lockdown. This", he says holding out a velvet bag to Harry, is a blood locked change purse, it is linked directly to your various vaults, the six keys are on the side and not removable, tap the lip of the bag with the vault key you wish to be withdrawn from and think of the amount required and the amount will be inside. For larger purchases, on the back of each ledger is a black template. Press a receipt to it and if the business has a business account with Gringotts it will immediately be withdrawn into that account, if not the account number will be written on the top and the funds will be held for 7 days for them to come and initiate the transfer. When you arrive on Thursday the Black family account manager will walk you through the Black Vaults you have access to."
