"Come on kid pull harder! I ain't feeling this fridge move!" Shukaku slapped the mentioned fridge that he was sitting on as he was munching on potato chips, watching the greenette pulling the fridge with rope with all his minuscule might in futility before slipping on the sand and face-planting. "Oh my dad kid, you're so weak in a physical sense." The kid shot up to his knees and turned to the tailed beast and was about to speak before he was cut off "And don't give me any buts, the reason why we're here is because we need up you to increase your physical energy reserves and that in turn increases your chakra levels, I know it's hard work but I trained for a thousand years after I got tired of being the weakest tailed beast."
"May I ask something, Mr.Shukaku sir? Where are the other tailed beast?" Now he asked the obvious question Shukaku thought"Well kid, four of us are in Japan, Me, Matatabi, Isobu, and Konkuro, Son Goku and Saikan are in Europe, and Chomei and Gyuki are in the Americas, we had someone distribute our pots, though I was a little off put by how creepy he was, I kept telling them I don't like snakes but they kept using the arguments 'you're a tailed beast and your afraid of reptiles?' And I was like fuck you bitch.." Shukaku continued his rant, not noticing that Izuku started playing Go Fish with a Shadow Clone once the subject began to shift away from where the other tailed beast were.
Isobu, better known by most as the human Rin Akura, stood at the front door of the Todoroki residence in his human form, while it was technically his home it wasn't Rin's home, he hesitantly knocked on the door and a few seconds later the door opened with a familiar teen with split colored hair staring blankly at him, Isobu gently waved at the boy "Hey Shoto, is Fuyumi here?" He asked timidly, the boy shook his head "No, She's out shopping, you can wait in the living room." Isobu closely followed behind the boy, Shoto Todoroki, the youngest of a broken family, He was the only one who knew about Isobu living in the small pot in his room only because Isobu couldn't stand watching him grow up isolated from his siblings, especially since one of them died.
No one would believe him if he leaked about the cause of the family's broken condition so he decided to try and help the family, even just by a little bit. "So Shoto, how's it been since I last visited." The younger of the two shrugged, saying nothing, "What about that manga I gave you, did you like it." Shoto glanced back at Isobu "It was alright for an old manga." He quietly responded, The disguised tailed beast smiled slightly, that was probably the most he'll get out of the teen.
For the past six months, Shukaku and the kid went to Dagobah beach every day to either clear out the trash or practice chakra control but today was different, "Alright kid, you got the paper?" The kid nodded and reached into his bag and pulled out a sheet of red construction paper and a pair of scissors "Alright now just cut off a corner." The kid used the scissors and cut a small rectangle out of the paper before giving the rest of the paper and scissors to Shukaku "Um Mr Shukaku, you never really told me why we needed construction paper?" Shukaku began to cut two more rectangles out of the sheet as he explained "Well kid, the kind of paper that we needed isn't made any more, though the tree it's made from is still being used for stuff like this construction paper so it's a perfect substitute, what we're going to do is figure out what your natural chakra nature transformation is."
"Wait, when you told me about nature transformation I thought it was learnt." Well the kid was half correct "It is but people have an easier time learning one chakra nature then the rest, the Uzumaki brats natural chakra nature was wind and his kids was lightning, I think, and mine's earth but I'm really proficient in wind style, the paper here will help us figure out what chakra nature is your natural one like this." Shukaku pinched the papers with his thumb and index finger in each hand and in a matter of seconds, the paper in his left hand crumbled like dirt while the other formed a tear "As you saw, when earth release chakra runs through the paper, it crumbled, and with wind, it ripped, the paper will have different reactions to each chakra nature, all you have to do is run your chakra through the paper." The kid nodded and closed his eyes, concentrating, soon smoke began to rise from the paper before bursting into fire "Yeouch!! hot hot hot!!" The kid dropped the paper and stomped out the fire, cradling his fingers which were slightly burnt "You didn't tell me that it could catch on fire!"
"Fire release huh, well good news is that I know a couple of fire style jutsu, bad news is if you want to know a variety of fire jutsu we would have to find some secret Uchiha or Sarutobi Ninjutsu scrolls, which'll be near-impossible, we would have to go to Konkuro or Matatabi for help and I don't know where in Japan they are since we haven't talked to each other since the 2000s." Shukaku scratched his chin wondering what to do, it was tough, what could the kid do to make his nature transformation useful in battle, then an idea popped in his head, a couple of images to be exact "Dear sweet Dad, I got!" He snapped his fingers before turning to the kid with a wild grin on his face "get excited, cause I got an idea that'll be awesome!" He'd have to thank that Hatake person in the heavens above, and Shueisha but really one of their biggest selling manga "Cause your gonna have some spicy strikes when we're done."
She stood on the roof looking down the streets, time for another patrol, the cool early spring air whipped onto her but she used fire release to keep herself warm, she pulled her mask over her mouth, tied her hair into a bun, and pulled up her hood. She wished that she had a hero license, it would make her duty so much easier, but her human form looked to old to have the means to get one, luckily or unluckily depending on how the night goes, Eraserhead should be her only worry at this time of night.
Her phone began to buzz and she quickly pulled it out and read the caller ID, she sighed and pressed the green button "[Hey where'd you put my One Piece manga at.]" Sometimes she doubted who he was but what she read said about him otherwise so he's too important to ignore his wants "Kohei now's not the time, your manga's on the fridge." She growled "[Alright alright, Jeez you don't need to be so uppity about it, hey didn't you say you'll train me for UA?]" UA, she forgot about that, though she didn't have much time to think about it as she spotted something moving in the alleyway "I have to go, see you when I get back." She hung up and walked off the side of the building, though instead of falling off, she began to walk down the side of the building, and with a few hand signs she vanished out of sight 'Ninja Art: Hiding in Camouflage' carefully she moved around the corner and saw a group of five people, four men and a girl.
"Nah nah this ain't the Trigger stuff, 'pparently this does the opposite and suppresses your Quirk for a couple of minutes, all you have to do is shoot a hero with this stuff, and they're quirkless." The apparent leader of the group had a smile on their face 'Suppress their quirk, so essentially shut down their chakra network, didn't think humans could find a way to replicate the effects of the Hyuga's Gentle Fist without chakra' She slowly began to weave hand signs "Man that's some scary stuff, and you said this is a beta version?" A member of the group asked, her eyes widened, now things got urgent.
She leaped off the wall and undid her camouflage 'Water Style: Water Wall' A torrent of water came out of her mouth and formed a wave as it washed over the entire group of villains, they lay there in the puddle soaked to the bone and shocked by the appearance "WHAT THE FUCK, WHO LEAD A HERO TO US?!?" She landed on her feet, barely leaving a splash on the water, "Sorry to ruin your parade but I'm going to need to know where you got those." The group began to panic once they saw her "Oh shit it's Konkuro, get her!" four of them began to charge at her, the girl of the group went in with her nails lengthening and sharpening while another pulled out their spine and wielded it like a sword 'Didn't think I'd find a user of that Kekkei Genkai.' Konkuro easily dodged the girls' swipes and deflected the bone sword, she smirked "Do you know what it feels like to get electrocuted." She jumped up and began to weave three hand signs 'Lightning Style: Thunderclap Arrow' she pointed her palm at the puddle as electricity danced around her hand before shooting out in a arrow shape.
The arrow struck the water and exploded outwards, shocking everything that was wet, well, almost everything. The moment Konkuro landed on the ground, a fist made of stone struck her in the gut, launching her into a dumpster "That should teach you ya bitch." The brawny one of the group stood, his skin covered in stone "Really, that's all you can come up with as a villain one-liner?" Konkuro got up with barely a scratch on her, course her hoodie had a couple of rips, she prepared another justu 'Boil Release: Boiling Fog Jutsu' though just as she was about to release it, a loud bang rang throughout the alley and Konkuro felt a sharp pain in her arm, she looked down and found a red dart sticking into her arm 'Shit!' She felt her chakra network suddenly go haywire before almost completely stopping.
Konkuro looked back and saw the leader of the group sitting in the same spot, though it was somehow dry, holding a pistol, though now that was the least of her problems as the larger of the two stood in front of her with a grin on his face, ready to enjoy the impending beat, that was until the stone began to peel off his skin "What the-" but before the human had time to ponder a figure swung in and kicked him hard enough to knock him out as the figure landed between them "Hard to believe that I'm glad to see you Eraser." The hero glanced back at her, his hair and scarf floating upwards before looking back at the leader "Shit not more of you, you ain't taking me." He quickly went to reload the pistol but his hand was quickly wrapped around with Eraserhead's capture scarf "Funny, cause taking you in is the smart move." He yanked the villain towards him and kneed him in the solar plexus.
"Now your coming with m-" Eraserhead turned around and found that the vigilante had disappeared, he inwardly cursed to himself, she got away, he slide up his goggles and pulled out a bottle of eye drops "Course she Batman's me."
Shukaku read through his notebook as he and his jinchuriki had their school lunch "So do you think that I'm ready Shukaku?" The tanuki peered out above the notebook "Well, you've gotten pretty good at shape transformation, you've learned three nature transformations, that's including your natural one, and you gotten pretty good at Partial Transformation, so in terms of jutsu your a little further ahead then I anticipated, even with shadow clones, in terms of physical training your about where I predicted, there's still some kinks we need to work out with your latest jutsu though." The last part was obvious, whenever the kid tried to use it it either wouldn't work or it did most of the time it was the former, not because of a lack of chakra since he had that in spades, just a lack of skill "I kinda doubt that I'll find myself needing to use it, plus it's really disorienting when I use it.".
"Didn't think you'd start talkin' to animals like some damn Disney princess Deku." Izuku froze when he heard that familiar voice, he slowly turned around to see Bakugo looking down at the two, his eyes focused on Shukaku before scowling and raising a hand "You better scram before I kill ya fatass, I ain't fond of pest." To further prove his point a few small explosions popped in his raised palm.And just like that, Shukaku disappeared in a puff of smoke 'Wait what the-' "(Sorry kid, last time I met someone who had explosion release I lost myself!)" Shukaku spoke in Izuku's mind, fear being laced in his voice.
"Just came to remind you, don't you dare even think about getting in my way at entrance exams, or else I'll destroy you right there and then." The blonde stomped away, leaving the freckled greenette alone. "(Sorry 'bout that kid')" Shukaku appeared again clutching his tail and looking ashamed "Didn't think he'd have explosion release, it's a form ekrixiphobia apparently, hell I didn't think we could develop phobias, but you know 'first one born, first one to feel irrational fear'" the tanuki looked like he wanted to say more but he didn't say it. Izuku didn't need to hear any more as he picked up the tailed beast and place him on his lap "Well when it comes to it, We'll deal with it together, since we are tailed beast and jinchuriki." He got up and packed his lunch as Shukaku crawled back into his backpack.
Today was the day Izuku stood in front of the school of his dreams, UA was way more intimidating in person then in the photos of it online, he stood there nervously as other students passed him "(Come on kid, you trained for two years for this and learned from the best teacher in the country, you shouldn't be a nervous wreck you should be walking in there with confidence, like this)" Izuku suddenly jerked forward as he began to walk with his legs outside of his control and in Shukaku's "Nononoimnotready!" Izuku tried to gain control in his but Shukaku's grip on them wasn't loosening "(You are ready and your gonna do great!)"
The two entered the building and was stopped by a robot holding a tablet "{Please enter first and last name}" Izuku typed in his nameand once he pressed enter, a card with a picture of him popped out from the robots head, Izuku took the card out and examined it as he headed towards where the written exam was being held.
Suddenly a tingling sensation went through Izuku's spine that distracted him "Hey Shukaku, you feel that?" The sensation was similar to when he first met Shukaku, 'it has to be chakra but how?' Whenever Izuku tried to feel Bakugo's chakra as an experiment it was the faintest of feelings, and that ways when he was trying, "(Sorry kid, your talking to someone who's more of and empath then a sensor-type.)" Izuku suddenly felt another chakra signature, but this one felt different to the other one, the other one was definitely another jinchuriki as he felt tailed beast chakra but this one felt different yet he didn't know how.
The greenette entered the room meant for the written exams and sat down "There's definitely another jinchuriki here, and there's another chakra signature." He heard quite mumbling in his head for a bit before Shukaku spoke up "(Well if it's another jinchuriki then one of those three changed their minds sooner then I thought, as for the other one, obviously the only ones you can sense clearly are people without quirks so this person's either hopeful to a dangerous degree, confident, or they can manipulate chakra and thought it was their quirk)" that was when Izuku saw the source of the tailed beast chakra, a grumpy-looking taller-then-average boy with black shoulder-length hair with twin lines one his cheeks like whiskers, the teen lazily sat down in the desk infront of Izuku and looked like he was about to fall asleep "(So that's the jinchuriki, not the type that I expected see any of them choosing.)" Izuku nodded but now that he was closer to the jinchuriki, Izuku still felt that something was off about, not only that but his chakra levels felt like they almost eclipsed Shukaku's chakra "hey, you said that you trained for a thousand years right?"
"(Yeah, in fact, me and Gyuki are about equal in power now, from what I remember.)" now that worried Izuku, from what Shukaku said he and Gyuki should be the strongest tailed beast on the planet, so who was the tailed beast that's connected to this jinchuriki 'is there a tailed beast that Shukaku doesn't know about?' He was going to have to ask Shukaku about it about the exams.
