Disclaimer: I don't own anything this is just a story for fun.
Clockwork lead Danny to the back of the shop to a private room. He handed Danny with a black band around the eyes and told him to put it on. Danny did this and was unable to see anything. He then was instructed to activate his lightsaber and put in on it's lowest setting. Danny did this and Clockwork activated a small spherical droid armed with a low level shock blaster. The droid flew over to Danny.
"Now I want you to defend yourself from this training droid using the Force to guide your hands." Instructed Clockwork.
The droid fired a shot at Danny, who managed to deflect it away. The droid flew around Danny for a different angle and Danny tried to keep the droid in front of him, but he was having a bit of trouble keeping up. Danny thought he was facing the droid, but it was to his left. The droid blasted Danny making him yell in surprise as it hit him.
"Focus." Said Clockwork.
"This isn't easy! The droid isn't a living thing I can just sense with the Force." Complained Danny.
"You are simply limiting yourself. The Force is all around us, waiting to be used and channeled. You just have to be patient and focus." Said Clockwork.
Danny took a deep breath and began to focus. He stood there and used the Force around him to sense the presence of the droid as it moved through the air. It was like he was seeing everything through a different perspective and this time he was able to keep track of the droid and deflect it's shots. Danny deflected a dozen shots from the droid before, Clockwork called the droid back and ended the lesson.
"Very good Danny. You have a deep connection to the Force, much like your mother and I feel like your connection is growing. That's enough training for tonight. Will do some more practice tomorrow." Said Clockwork.
"Thank you master." Said Danny with a bow.
Clockwork led Danny out of the shop and watched him leave with a smile, before he went about locking his shop up for the night.
To be continued.
