Chapter 89 Wraith Encounter

At FentonWorks, Danny was in the garage with his mother, Tucker, Valerie, and Wulf. The five of them were gathered for a mission briefing from Sam. A hologram of Sam appeared before the group and again to address them.
"We just received some intel on a new government facility on Casper under construction. The place it goes by is called the Learn-a-Torium. We believe it is a facility intended to indoctrinate people to be loyal to the Empire, specifically the children of foreign planet officials. I want you to go investigate it and find out which children are being targeted."
"You can count on us." Said Danny.
"Good. May the Force be with you." Said Sam before her hologram vanished.
The team head towards their hanger and boarded the Tempest. The ship took off and headed to the location they were given by their allies and found a large skyscraper under construction. The sun had already set as Tucker landed the Tempest a few hundred yards away from the building and Danny and Maddie went out to sneak in and investigate the building. As they entered the building the two of them sensed a odd sensation in the Force.
"Do you feel that?" Asked Maddie.
"I do." Said Danny.
"There is a disturbance in the Force. I can't tell if it's still in the building or if it's already left and all were feeling is a lingering bit of it." Said Maddie.
"Could it be the result of Vlad or some other Force user using the Force to indoctrinate someone's mind?" Asked Danny.
"Possibly, but it's to hard to tell from where we're at. When need to search the building and find the source, but now I'm sensing two different signals from within this building." Said Maddie.
"I feel it to. Looks like we have no choice, but to split up." Said Danny.
"I don't like it, but you have a good point. If you encounter something too dangerous to handle contact the others for a immediate extraction." Said Maddie.
"Understood." Said Danny.
The two of them nodded and split up. Maddie headed left and Danny headed right.
Maddie looked through a few empty rooms and found some stairs. She climbed them and searched a few floors before she came across a large office, with a chair facing a large window with it's back facing Maddie. Maddie could sense a strong presence in the chair. The chair spun around to reveal Vlad sitting in it with an arrogant smirk on his face.
"Vlad." Said Maddie as she pulled out her lightsaber and ignited it.
"Hello Maddie. It's so good to see you again. I've been quit a bit about you and your son. The two of you have been causing quit a bit of trouble, though I admit I'm a bit impressed. I even heard our old teacher Clockwork is still alive and kicking. There have been quit a few surprises these past few months." Said Vlad as he stood up.
"Well this shows how much you consider us a threat if you have come to try and deal with me and my son personally." Said Maddie.
"I'll admit you and your son have proven your worth. You've bested some of my best men and some of the bounty hunters I sent your way. I'll admit I underestimated you and I should have taken the threat you posed more seriously. But tonight isn't about you or me. It's about the future." Said Vlad.
"What are you talking about?" Asked Maddie.
"Your son of course. He is about to face a opponent like none he has ever faced before. I wonder if he will survive?" Said Vlad.
Maddie charged forward and swung her lightsaber at Vlad, who pulled out his own lightsaber and blocked her. Vlad just grinned at Maddie, who just glared at him. The two pushed away from each other and began to exchange blows with their lightsabers.
Higher up Danny was exploring a hallway, when he heard some faint crying coming from one room, so he went to go investigate it. Danny entered the room and saw a small hooded figure sitting in the center of the room with their back towards him with their knees to their chest. The hooded figure seemed to be crying. Danny approached the figure and reached a hand out to it.
"Hey are you alright?" Asked Danny.
The figure answered by quickly shooting to their feet, pulled out a lightsaber, and swung it at Danny! Danny just barely managed to leap back and avoid the blow. He leaped back a few more feet and put a little distance between himself and his attacker as he ignited his own lightsaber.
"Who are you?" Demanded Danny.
The hooded figure reached up and pulled down their hood. Danny's eyes went wide behind his mask as he gazed at the face of his attacker. It was a girl a few years younger then himself and she had the exact same green eyes and white hair just like him! She even had similar facial structure just like him. If Danny didn't know any better this girl could be his twin, but that was impossible!
The girl glared at Danny with hatred burning in her eyes, before she spoke.
"I am Wraith and by my Master's ordered you will die by my hands Phantom!"
