Chapter 96 Cruel Command

Wraith finished cleaning herself up and put on a black cloak over her normal clothes and went to meet Vlad on the Leviathan's bridge. Vlad stood on the bridge over a table looking at a hologram of a planet. Wraith approached Vlad and kneeled before her. Vlad gesture for Wraith to stand up and join him by the table. Wraith did as she was told and stood besides her master. Vlad began speaking.
"This is planet Froza, it was once a mining planet used by the Empire, until the Rebels aided the locals, the Yetizs into overthrowing the troops stationed there and they took control of the base. Now we have received reports of Rebels supplying troops and equipment to the Yetizs to help defend themselves from being invaded. So far there have only been a few attempts to try and take the planet back, but they have all failed. Your mission is to lead a large attack force against the Yetizs and Rebels and take back the fortress."
"You can count on me master. I will not fail you and I shall crush our enemies." Said Wraith with determination.
"Good. I expect nothing less from you. Now go to the hanger. A shuttle will be waiting to take you to Froza and meet up with the rest of the invasion force you'll be working with." Said Vlad.
Wraith bowed and left the bridge. She headed to the hanger and boarded a shuttle. The ship left the hanger and took off heading towards planet Froza.
In the space above Froza, four Star Destroyers packed with AT-ST Walkers, AT-AT Walkers, and Stormtroopers were getting ready to invade the planet. Among the Stormtroopers were Dash, Kwan, and Klemper.
"I can't believe we're going back to Froza." Said Kwan.
"At least will have a chance to get back at those Rebels and those Yetizs." Said Dash as he polished his blaster.
"Well I'm not thrilled about being back. I just got over my cold." Grumbled Klemper.
An officer appeared and began to address the Stormtroopers.
"Your field commander has just arrived and you shall do as she says."
The officer stepped aside and Wraith in her cloak and hood appeared. She looked at the troops and joined a group of them as they loaded up in one of the drop ships.
"What's the deal with the field commander and that getup?" Asked Dash looking at his two comrades.
"I don't know man, but she gives me the creeps." Said Kwan with a shudder.
"Me too." Said Klemper with a nod.
"Oh she's probably just some prodigy whose skilled at tactics and intimidation. I bet she can't even fight and has never held a weapon." Said Dash.
"Dude seriously? You better hope she doesn't catch you saying that kind of stuff." Said Kwan.
"Oh lighten up. It's not like she can magically sense what I'm saying about her. Besides it's nearly impossible to tell us apart, while we're wearing all this armor." Said Dash putting his helmet on.
Kwan and Klemper exchanged nervous looks as they all loaded up on another drop ship.
The drop ships head down as the Star Destroyers got closer to the planet's surface and dropped the walkers down. On the surface of the plant all the Stormtroopers and officers grouped together and Wraith stood before them and used the Force to sense the emotions and thoughts of the troops under her command. Wraith could sense a lot of doubt and uncertainty from the troops, though she supposed it was understandable since Wraith didn't have much of a reputation yet and this was her first command mission. She sensed the thoughts of one particular arrogant Stormtrooper and decided she would make an example out of him and show the other troopers just what she was capable of.
"You step forward." Said Wraith pointing at the Stormtrooper, who happened to be Dash.
Dash stepped forward not sure what was going to happen. Wraith pulled down her hood revealing her face to the troops as she began to address them.
"My name is Wraith. I know a lot of you here doubts about someone as young as me being your field commander and leading you to victory. Rest assured that I am a very capable fighter and leader. I was trained by Vlad Masters."
There was whispering and muttering among the troops as they recognized the name Vlad Masters and they began to wonder what Wraith was actually capable of.
"Now there are some among you, who are processing a great lack of faith in my abilities and I think a demonstration of my abilities will help set all your minds at ease." Said Wraith.
Dash nervously looked at Wraith wondering what she was fixing to do. Wraith turned her attention to Dash.
"Stormtrooper I want you to fire your blaster at me."
"But...but...but..." Stammered Dash.
"Do it! That's an order!" Said Wraith.
Dash raised his blaster and fired it at Wraith. In one fluid moment Wraith pulled out her lightsaber, ignited it, and deflected the laser blast in another direction over the heads of the troops. The gathered troops were utterly stunned by what they just witnessed.
"Again. Keep firing." Said Wraith pointing her lightsaber at Dash.
Dash nervously fired his blaster at Wraith, who deflected the blast and advanced towards Dash. The Stormtrooper fired blast after blast at Wraith, only to have them easily get deflected. Wraith reached Dash and thrusted her free hand and used the Force to slam him to the ground. She then put her foot on Dash's chest and pointed her lightsaber at his face. Dash could only tremble in fear as he looked in the cold murderous eyes of Wraith, who gave him a cruel smile as she deactivated her lightsaber and took her foot off his chest as she faced the crowd of troops.
"Now that little demonstration is out of the way, you see there's no need to to doubt my abilities. Let's begin to make a plan to take a plan to take this planet back for the Empire." Said Wraith.
The troops agreed with their field commander and they began to make a plan and prepare for battle as Dash stumbled to his feet and went to go rejoin his unit. Wraith could feel the fear of her troops and she was greatly looking forward to feeling the fears of the Rebels, when her forces attacked the base and take it back.
