Chapter 108 Floors

Fright Knight cursed as he glared at the pile of rubble before him and his troops. The Jedi had made a fool of him and her actions were going to greatly delay him and his forces from getting into the Capitol and dealing with the pirates. Download quickly scanned his map and found a new route to enter the basement level of the Capitol. The squad marched off as fast as they could to get into the Capitol to accomplish their mission and to capture the Jedi and any other Rebels they might find.
In another part of the sewer, Maddie came across the wounded Wulf laying against a wall. Maddie bandaged Wulf with a small medical kit she had on herself and then she helped Wulf to his feet. The Jedi shouldered Wulf's weight for a little bit, until Wulf managed to regain some of his energy and was able to walk on his own. The two Rebels picked up the pace and went to go catch up with their comrades.
Inside the Capitol, Wraith and her little group crept around trying to get to Lancer's office and take the building back from Youngblood and his crew. Every now and then the group would encounter a patrol of pirates. Sometimes Wraith and her group would hide behind pillars or shadows and let the pirates pass them by and other times they would attack them and take them down as quickly and as silently as they could. Little by little the group made to one floor to another. Jazz was both amazed and shocked by how affective Wraith was at dispatching the pirates. Wraith's skill were very impressive, yet at the same time, Jazz couldn't help but be unsettled by them. A young girl like Wraith shouldn't be learning combat skills like that! Jazz wondered what kind of work, Vlad was training Wraith for. After defeating a few more pirates the group pressed on.
In another part of the Capitol, Danny, Tucker, Valerie, and Crash were doing their own sneaking around. They searched around the building for hostages to rescue. The team located a few small groups of hostages guarded by pirates and they would come up with a plan to rescue them. Danny would sometimes step out from hiding with his lightsaber ignited startling the pirates and getting their attention focused on him and while the pirates were distracted Crash, Valerie, and Tucker would strike them with a stun blast from their blasters and take them down. Other times Tucker would use his hacking skills to hack the lights turning them on and off, which would confuse the pirates and allow Valerie and Crash to take them out with their stun blasters.
The hostages were surprised at the sight of their rescuers, but were grateful to them. The pirates were tied up and the hostages were told to find a safe place to find a safe place to hide, until the crisis was over. Danny was happy to see that the hostages were, though he had not found his sister yet. He knew that she was somewhere in the building and had confidence that he and the others would find her. Danny was growing increasingly concerned about Wraith since she was in the building and the chances of encountering were getting higher by the minute. The Rebels rescued a few more hostages and carried on.
Up in Lancer's office, Youngblood was starting to become very agitated and very paranoid. Meglar and several of his men on patrol had not called in and when Youngblood tried to call them, he got no response. Something was very wrong. Youngblood quickly radioed several of his men and patrols on the floors beneath the office and ordered them to group together and begin sweeping the other floors for any forms of trouble. A few dozen pirates grouped together and began to do just that.
A few floors down Wraith's group came to a large lobby that seemed to be empty. The group was fixing to move on, when Wraith suddenly sensed something and stopped. A few seconds later Danny and his group arrived at the lobby. The two silently stared at one another. Jazz was very surprised to see Phantom.
"What's Phantom doing here?" Thought Jazz.
"Why is Jazz with Wraith?" Thought Danny.
"What's with her?" Asked Johnny indicating Wraith.
Jazz saw that Wraith looked extremely aggravated and she was clutching her lightsaber hard.
"Phantom!" Roared Wraith as she sprung forward and swung at Danny, who blocked her attack.
"What the hell is going on?!" Yelled Jazz as she watched Wraith and Danny begin to fight each other.
