Chapter 110 Capitol End

Danny and Wraith released each other's hands and went to regroup with their respected groups to discuss their next move. Jazz headed over to Phantom's group and faced Phantom.
"I don't know why you and the Rebels are here, but I want to thank you for saving me from those pirates." Said Jazz.
"You're welcome." Said Phantom.
Jazz gave him a smile and went over to Wraith's group.
"So what exactly is the deal between you and Phantom?" Asked Jazz looking at Wraith.
"It's a little complicated and I don't think I should tell you. It's a secret." Said Wraith.
"I can respect that. Tell you what. I'll tell you a little secret history I have with Phantom and you can tell me yours if you want." Said Jazz.
"Ok." Said Wraith.
"Well a few months back I was visiting and investigating the Tartarus prison and during my visit some of the inmates got out of their cells and came after me! I thought I was going to die, but Phantom came and he saved me! I may not understand why Phantom is with the Rebels, but I do know he would never attack the innocent or defenseless. We can trust him." Said Jazz with confidence.
Wraith took in what Jazz had said and decided Jazz was good and trustworthy to tell about her connection and past with Phantom.
"Alright I'll tell you my about my deal with Phantom, but you mustn't tell anyone what I'm about to tell you. This is secret and classified information on the highest level." Said Wraith with a serious look on her face.
"I give you my word. I won't tell a soul." Said Jazz.
"Ok then. I am a clone created from Phantom's DNA. I was created to capture or destroy Phantom and to serve Vlad Plasmius." Said Wraith.
Jazz was stunned by this information. She knew about clones and cloning from history records about the Clone Wars, but she never thought she would meet an actual clone. Jazz was now very interested in the face beneath Phantom's mask. Wraith said she was a clone of Phantom, but from what Jazz could tell by looking at Phantom, he was clearly male. Jazz knew that clones usually ended up being the same gender as the being they were cloned from, but since Phantom was a Force user making a clone of him would be more complicated then cloning a normal person or creature, so a clone of a Force user being a different gender from their DNA donor wasn't too far fetched.
Jazz began to wonder if Wraith was her brother's clone. It would explain the green eyes, white hair, and similar mannerisms, but at the same time it didn't make sense. Danny was no Jedi and wasn't able to use the Force. He wouldn't be fighting alongside the Rebels causing trouble for the Empire. Would he? Jazz considered herself to be very smart and observant having a good understanding how things worked in the Amitrax System, but now she wasn't so sure. The Empire wasn't as affective and as nobel as Jazz had originally thought and there might be some big secrets in her family. Jazz made a mental note to look in on Danny and ask him a few questions after this crisis was resolved.
The two groups regrouped.
"So I spoke with my team. It's pretty clear after that little battle we had with those pirates, Captain Youngblood and the rest of his group will be expecting us. We've lost the element of surprise." Said Danny.
"I was thinking the same thing. It looks like a frontal attack might be our best option. We need to get into Governor Lancer's office and get to his computer to lift the lockdown. With the lockdown lifted the Imperial Forces outside could get in and take the Capitol back." Said Wraith.
"Sounds like a good enough plan to me. Alright let's do it." Said Danny.
The two groups headed up the stairs to the next level.
At the lowest level of the Capitol, Maddie and Wulf had just entered the building. Maddie used her communicator to make contact with Danny and the rest of the team.
"Phantom do you read me? Where are you and what is your status?" Said Maddie.
"I read you Master. We are nearing the Governor's office level to undo the lockdown. Had a bit of a run in with Wraith, but now we are working together to take Youngblood down. Also Priority J is safe." Said Danny using the code names for his mom and Jazz.
"Good to hear. Wulf and I are ok. Will be working on the exit plan. May the Force be with you Phantom." Said Maddie.
"May the Force be with you Master." Said Danny.
Maddie used some building blueprints she got from Tucker to locate another part of the building close to the sewers and she and Wulf traveled over to it. Once there Maddie used her lightsaber to cut a hole into the floor that lead into the sewer. The exit was made and now Maddie and Wulf just had to wait for the rest of the team.
On the upper part of Capitol, Danny and Wraith's team had reached the level where Lancer's office was and were confronted by Youngblood and a horde of pirates pointing weapons at them.
"Well. Well. Now this is a pleasant surprise. It's Phantom and his crew and it looks like he brought a little Jedi sidekick with him." Said Youngblood as he looked at Danny then Wraith.
"I'm no Jedi and I'm not his sidekick." Said Wraith with annoyance.
"Don't care. Anyhow I must say I'm surprised to see you here Phantom. I thought I was going to have to kill a ton of your Rebels friends or place a huge bounty on your head in order to find you agin, but here you are. Now I can get my revenge on you as well as the Empire." Said Youngblood with a wicked grin.
"Stop this madness Youngblood. This is only going to end bad for you." Said Danny.
"Oh I think not. Now I want you and the girl to deactivate your lightsabers and kick them over to me. If you don't my crew will kill all your little friends." Said Youngblood.
Danny and Wraith did as they were told.
"Remember what happened when we tried to attack each other with the Force?" Whispered Danny.
Wraith looked at Danny in confusion and then she smiled and nodded her head. The two of them faced each other and launched a Force push at each other. The air between the two Force users began to ripple and blur.
"What the heck is going on?! Stop it!" Yelled Youngblood.
"Get down!" Yelled Danny to his and Wraith's team.
Jazz and the others dove to the ground. Youngblood did the same thing before the Force attack exploded a few seconds later. Danny and Wraith were expecting the explosion, so they were better prepared for it when it hit. They used the Force to protect themselves from the attack, while all the pirates were slammed into the walls and floor. Jazz and the others got up and used their stun blasters to take out all the down enemies. Youngblood scrambled to his feet and ran towards Lancer's office. Danny and Wraith chased after him using the Force to pick up their lightsabers.
Youngblood got near the office and reached for a weapon he had stashed behind a potted plant. That weapon was a rocket launcher! Youngblood turned to face Danny and Wraith.
"Say hello to my little friend! I'm going to blow you two to kingdom come!" Yelled Youngblood as he fired a rocket at them.
The rocket raced towards Danny and Wraith, who both reached out with the Force to try and stop it. The rocket stopped in midair and seemed to be wrestling with an invisible force. Danny and Wraith focused and pointed the rocket upwards and released it. The rocket flew up to the celling and exploded! A cloud of dust and smoke blanketed the hallway and blinded everyone. Youngblood was preparing to fire another rocket, when Wraith came through the cloud and sliced the front of the rocket launcher off with her lightsaber and made the weapon useless. Youngblood dropped the rocket launcher, pulled out a blaster and tried to shoot Wraith, but Phantom appeared and Force pushed him hard into a wall knocking the pirate captain out.
Wraith looked at Danny and nodded thanks to him. The smoke and dust cleared revealing all the pirates defeated. Jazz ran into the office with Wraith and untied Lancer, who went over to his computer to shutdown the lockdown. The shutters began to go up all over the Capitol allowing people from the outside to enter the building. Jazz and Wraith looked around for Phantom and the others, but they had simply just vanished like ghost. The crisis at the Capitol was finally over.
