Disclaimer: I don't own anything this is just a story for fun.
Jazz used her government position to access the Empire's military files along with civilian complaints lodged over the years and after bit of research and cross referencing, she found an officer who appeared to be fairly corrupt and abusing their position of power. The officer in question was named Vicky and she had recently been promoted to lieutenant commander and had been put in charge of a medium size base and training facility outside Goza City. According to the files Vicky was the twin sister of the deceased Stormtrooper captain Ricky. It seemed like the death of her brother had encouraged Vicky to work harder and rise up in the ranks. There were a few civilian complaints about Vicky using excessive force on people caught disobeying the law in any form or matter, especially towards the young and elderly. There were also large amounts of taxes being collected that didn't seem to be going anywhere to the Empire, which could mean that Vicky was keeping it all for herself or someone higher ranking was pulling the strings.
"What could she be up to?" Thought Jazz to herself.
Well whatever it was it was the perfect opportunity to show Wraith the corruption of the Empire and make her consider joining Danny and the Rebels. Not to mention it would help remove a corrupt officer from power. The plan was already set in motion.
The next day Jazz was at the Capitol waiting and then Wraith arrived at her office for her lessons.
"I have a real treat for you today Wraith." Said Jazz.
"What is it?" Asked Wraith.
"We're going to visit a military facility outside the city. Part of my job is to inspect factories and military facilities controlled by the Empire to make everything is in tip top shape and running smoothly. I also have to make sure all the workers are being treated fairly." Said Jazz.
"Sounds interesting." Said Wraith.
The two of them along with a couple of Stormtrooper escorts loaded up into a shuttle and flew off.
Lightyears away on planet Greece, Clockwork had just landed and was exploring the planet and was exploring the planet looking for any clues that would lead him to Pandora's Labyrinth. Greece was a big planet with both old and modern buildings. It would take an army several years to search every inch of the planet. Clockwork didn't have an army to aid him, but he had something better. He had the Force to guide him and it was telling him to head to a nearby library. Clockwork began to walk around the aisles and inspect the books. As he looked, he sensed that his moves and actions were being watched. Clockwork turned around to see that he was being followed by a middle aged man with black hair and a beard wearing glasses, a black shirt, black pants, black shoes, and a purple jacket.
"Hello can I help you with something?" Asked Clockwork.
"No, but I think I can help you with something important, Jedi Master Clockwork." Said the man.
Clockwork stiffened a little as the man said his title and name. He first expected this encounter to be a trap set by the Empire, with Vlad and Stormtroopers prepared to spring out from hiding, but the man appeared to be alone and he wasn't doing anything threatening.
"Who are you?" Asked Clockwork.
"My name is Greg Write, though I sometimes go by the codename Ghost Writer. I am a member of an ancient order known as the Observants." Said the man as he reached into his pocket and pulled out a small golden amulet with a symbol of an eye on it.
"The Observants. I remember encountering a few members during the Clone Wars." Said Clockwork.
"Yes I've viewed their records. Our order has been keeping a close eye on you and the Rebels recent activities." Said Ghost Writer.
"Then you know why I'm here?" Asked Clockwork.
"Oh we don't everything we're not omnipotent or all seeing, but I can take a fair guess as to why you're on this planet. You're looking for Pandora's Labyrinth and the box." Said Ghost Writer.
"Indeed I am, you are quit perceptive." Said Clockwork.
"Thank you." Said Ghost Writer.
"Do you know where it is?" Asked Clockwork.
"Not exactly, but I do know where to get information about the labyrinth and it's location, though we must go see my superiors for that." Said Ghost Writer.
"Lead the way." Said Clockwork.
Ghost Writer lead Clockwork to an old reading room and pressed a few of the bricks on a wall. There was a clicking sound and the wall moved to the side revealing a tunnel with a few lights. Ghost Writer and Clockwork headed down the tunnel and past a few corridors and hallways. They encountered some men wearing armor and carrying spears and blasters and some humans and aliens wearing white robes and purple robes carrying books and recording devices. The armed men and the robe wearers glanced at Clockwork before continuing on their ways. Ghost Writer lead Clockwork into a large room with a long table. Several humans and aliens wearing fancy white outfits with black high-collared capes sat behind the table and looked at Ghost Writer and Clockwork.
"Oh Grand Observers, I have brought Jedi Master Clockwork. He seeks information regarding Pandora's Labyrinth and it's location." Said Ghost Writer.
"So it is true." Said one old man.
"Indeed it is." Said Clockwork.
"We should give him what he needs." Said one alien.
"Our order exist to observe and record events nothing more." Said a woman.
"But this is different. Our order owes Clockwork a great debt. He saved the lives of a few of our order during the Clone Wars. He and the Jedi have always been our allies." Said another alien.
"I agree." Said another man.
"Is it true that you can see the future, Clockwork?" Asked the old man.
"I can using the Force, though I can't see everything and the future is always changing." Said Clockwork.
"Do you believe that someone who serves the Dark Side is searching for Pandora's Box and they will succeed in finding it?" Asked the old man.
"I have sensed the Dark Side at work and those that serve it are being drawn to this planet. The Empire has many resources at it's disposal and they will eventually find the labyrinth and get the box. Once they do it will be a utter catastrophe for the Amitrax System." Said Clockwork.
"Then it seems we have no choice, but to act." Said the old man clapping his hands.
A guard entered the room carrying a box, he handed to Clockwork.
"This box contains Pandora's Journal, along with a few hologram recordings from her, and notes from some Observants who observed the construction of the labyrinth. Hopefully this will give you the advantage you need." Said the old man.
"Thank you all." Said Clockwork with a bow before he and Ghost Writer left the room.
To be continued.
