Summary: Shizuku enters the club's room only to find her sleepy senpai and the school's cat curled up on her torso taking a peaceful nap together.

Strange…

That's the first word that comes to Shizuku's mind as she enters the club's room and finds it completely empty and in silence, by the exception of a soft snore coming from the couch.

As she gets closer, she finds Kanata sleeping peacefully on it while smiling against her precious purple striped pillow and the school's cat curled up on her torso.

Shizuku watches the sight in front of her with visible surprise on her face after finding her senpai sleeping so casually with the cat. A soft and amused smile spreads across her face and she giggles, phishing her phone out her school bag to take a picture of them and send it to the group chat but she doesn't have the opportunity.

Suddenly, the cat stretches and purrs, making Kanata purr in almost perfect synchrony, slightly confusing Shizuku who has been comparing Kanata to a sheep and not to a cat during all this time.

As the cat opens its turquoise eyes to look at her intensely yet friendly, Kanata slowly starts to open hers too, smiling at her sleepily.

- Morning – Kanata slurs, her voice dragged with sleep.

- Evening, Kanata-senpai – Shizuku corrects her and Kanata only smiles wider, yawning.

The cat stretches more and jumps off Kanata's chest to walk around the room. Shizuku follows it with her gaze before going back to look at her senpai sternly.

- Kanata-senpai, the rest of the girls will come soon – Shizuku informs her and Kanata just brushes it off, closing her eyes again to sleep, bewildering Shizuku – Kanata-senpai!-

She doesn't get to finish her reproach when Kanata pulls her by the hand, making Shizuku fall on her chest so she can hug her tightly, a furious blush taking over Shizuku's cheeks because of it.

- Sleep – Kanata whispers and soon, snores can be heard coming out her mouth.

Shizuku just lies on top of her, enjoying her warmth while giggling funnily at her sleepy senpai and her antics.

She doesn't quite understand the strange feeling spreading inside her chest but she can tell it's something nice, so she just gets comfier in Kanata's chest and arms, the corners of her lips uplifting in the form of a timid smile hidden by Kanata's chest, and involuntarily closes her eyes to enjoy the feeling, falling asleep.

When the girls arrive, they're greeted with the sight of them sleeping peacefully.

Quietly and with a tender smile on her face, Emma covers them with a blanket while the girls decide to let them keep sleeping for a little bit longer.
